We visited Amelie’s yesterday after a wet and windy trawl through Conwy’s twinkly, cobbled roads and dinky estuary. I am a vegetarian, my husband eats meat and occasionally we eat vegan to offset our carb loading. There was choices for everyone on the menu, and the environment of the cafe was gorgeous, tastefully decked out, sparkling clean with warm, welcoming service. The coffee was great quality too. I hope this place remains open for as long as possible with the covid outbreak, and it gets the love and appreciation it deserves from locals and tourists alike. A real gem.

My friends and I had a get together and chose Amelies to catch up as we are vegetarians and vegans between the 5 of us, there was a lovely choice of 3 vegan options and also 4 vegetarian options which included a lovely homemade soup. The staff were more than helpful to assist us with our choices and what a delight when our food appeared, so much so, we were all digging in to one anothers, thank you Amelies for a lovely afternoon xxxx

Fave restaurant in Conwy. It's decorated so beautifully and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Recently came here for lunch - loads of different options on the menu (good variety of veggie options) and the price and potion size was great! Have also been here for brunch and it was really reasonable with lots on the brunch menu. The homemade cakes are delicious too. It's just got a really nice vibe I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

What a lovely place - incredibly friendly place, amazing staff with relaxed conversation and laughs. The food was nutritious, fresh and delicious and presented with artistic care. Prefect for tea and cake or a heartier lunch on a damp winters afternoon. Would add one small improvement, that it would be extra special if we could bring along our four legged friends to enjoy the cafe's modest splendour too.

came in last Thursday. Lovely ambient cafe up some winding stairs. I had the soup which came piping hot in a unusual crock/pot style bowl which kept the soup hot for ages. Came with some of the nicest rye style bread i have had. Its easy to make fancy looking food but making a simple dish like soup into something special is quite a skill. Travelling solo so the warm welcome from the lady serving was much appreciated (shame - did not manage to get her name, please say hi from me). Would especially recommend If you are eating alone at lunch as its the sort of place you can feel comfortable and not stand out.

Recently Visited this place in a lovely location in Conwy. The girls waiting on were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The owner (chef) however was a different story. We requested a couple of changes to our childs meal and were told this was not possible as they were busy. We were only having coffees and small meals so I appreciate we were not spending much money but never the less I didn't expect to be made to feel that our custom wasn't welcome. The owner gave us the impression that we were taking up a table that could have been filled by people spending more money which made the experience very uncomfortable indeed.

Turned up as a family for coffee and cakes. Our little one wasnt feeling very well so we just asked for some toast for him. The waitress came back to us to say the chef had refused to make toast??? We explained our son wasnt feeling great and the waitress couldn't be more apologetic and went back to ask. Grudgingly the chef/owner agreed to make him some toast. I'm sorry but as a coffee shop how on earth are you supposed to run a business if you are refusing to serve toast for a poorly child. It set a really poor atmosphere for thr visit. The staff were brilliant but unfortunately the owner/chef has let the business down. We wont be returning and would advise anyone else who only wants coffee and toast to avoid this business as it's clearly far too much effort for them. Such a shame as the staff were lovely. Maybe the owner needs to learn some customer service tips from them.

In our five days in Conwy, at this "nugget" was the best lunch we have had. This lunch was way beyond the many fish and chip places in town. My wife had a salad and I had an open roasted ham sandwich with pineapple salsa. Oh my goodness were they great! I told the young lady that served us, next time just bring us a bowl of the home made salsa and a bag of tortilla chips. I think the "tortilla chips" got lost in translation. But, she got the idea that I loved them and my wife loved her salad.

A delightfully friendly restaurant. The menu is varied and most of us had difficulty deciding what to have for lunch. Three of us were very happy with our choices: sausage and mash; quiche; beef burger served with salad and chips. However, the brie and cranberry roll had just two thin slices of cheese and excessive cranberry jam. My daughter had a lovely looking prawn concoction but spoilt by excessive sweet mango sauce. We were all happy with deserts. The creme brulee was particularly good.

We were so much looking forward to our evening following excellent reports on TripAdvisor. However we were totally disappointed from the outset. We booked for 6.00pm, when we arrived we were shown to a table in an room off the main restaurant which couldOnly be described as a large store room or mortuary! The room was full of white tables and chairs covered completely with white tablecloths. There was nobody in this side room and only one table occupied in the main restaurant, the restaurant that we thought we had booked. We asked politely if we could move tables into the main restaurant as we were not comfortable sitting in this room, but were told we couldn’t due to social distancing !! As the evening went on it was clear it wasn’t fully booked and there were free tables in the restaurant. We were clearly unhappy we couldn’t move and so I sat facing the wall all night in a corner. They made us feel totally unwelcome with a very unfriendly atmosphere. We also had wobbly legs on both chairs, and when we asked could we swap the chairs, it was met with exasperation as if we were being difficult !! The food was mediocre at best, very small starters, which were not great, the trout was dry and minuscule with four tiny prawns. The Crostini was so hard it would have broken a tooth, so I just used my tiny bread roll for the pate.Nobody asked us once if everything was ok !The lamb was tasteless and on a bed of tasteless watery mash, it was insipid, and the beef stroganoff was full of peppers and lacked any cream, and again the meat was chewy.Having read such good reviews, we would find it hard to find any positives in what was a very disappointing evening, having felt that we were an inconvenience being there. In these times you would think customers would be looked after and gratefully appreciated but it seems not in this restaurant.

Had just got off of the Tram and looking for somewhere for a light bite. Found The Copper Mill and went in to order. What a lovely couple. I had got myself confused and would have tried the GF free bread but it was not essential.. the Lady offered to go to the shop to buy some but I said regular brown would be ok. Lovely prawn sandwich with some side salad on it. Place very clean as well.. PS We found the Home Front Museum with your directions. Thank You. Would recommend highly.
