The cured salmon and honeyed goats cheese starters set the scene for an amazing dining experience. The venison melted in the mouth and the duck was delicious. Well done Browns. I have already told all my friends who will be heading your way shortly. Mary C

The restaurant id ideal as it is across the road from the Railway station, with a beautiful view on the train after Coleraine. family birthday lunch, and we have tried Portstewart and Strand Road. All three are excellent

I go to this restaurant on a regular basis and they never disappoint. This occasion was a retirement dinner for a colleague. The food was amazing in particular the seafood which was complimented by everyone who ordered the seafood. The staff service was brilliant and they were very attentive at all times. I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough.

To give the ultimate experience to non-vegan family members for my 60th birthday, I put full confidence in Ian Orr and we were all delighted! The menu proposed was ranging from less to more adventurous vegan options to fit all tastes, with mouth-watering presentations in line with his TOP Chef reputation. A big plus was that the sumptuous backroom could be privatized so the 19 of us could chat among ourselves in a relaxed atmosphere, also thanks to a very professional staff. Even if living in France, it was very easy to organize from the first contact 4 months prior to the event until receiving the seasonal menu the week before the event. Furthermore, I must say that the wine list is impressive and even more; the wine we had was fantastic. Altogether, the perfect setting to celebrate an event, I highly recommend it eyes closed!

Everything from the food to the service was top notch. The food is very reasonably priced - great value. We absolutely loved it. We will be back.

We have always enjoyed Brown's for the special occasion more expensive evening. On this occasion I was disappointed with the choice of starters and desserts. The main course was excellent but I am glad that I ordered a portion of vegetables, which for me was the tastiest part of the meal. One of the main reasons for choosing Brown's was their souffle but sadly it was not on the menu and the other choices were very ordinary. We went for the carrot cake and it was just ok. When I pay over £100 for a meal I expect more than your run of the mill restaurant, on this occasion we were a little disappointed.

Early bird menu is excellent value. Food was superb, as always. Also not too busy on a Tuesday evening.

We asked for, and were given, a table for 2 at short notice. The food was at the usual very high standard, and chef Ian Orr came out to talk to many of the diners, including ourselves. Another excellent element of the event was the pace at which the courses arrived - perfectly timed to be neither rushed nor slow.

The restaurant accommodated our late arrival. Food came out quickly and was very good. Wine matching was good. Gluten free/Coeliac was catered for really well. Team were efficient, professional and friendly.
