Cafe Cloud in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

What a find!! Walked past once and looked in, saw the scones on the counter and after a bitter disappointment elsewhere decided we were going to try a cream tea in this cafe. My wife had the cream tea and WOW they are typical homemade scones not the massed produced efforts. They really need to be tried to be believed and they also serve gluten free ones too. I on the other hand tried the bacon sandwich, 3 slices of decent bacon served in doorstep cut bread which is really a meal in itself, delicious. Lovely cafe,Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone, go give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

food ordered ... cornish steak pasty with salad (gf) ... waffle with fruit and ice cream ... cherry chocolate brownie (gf) ... chocolate fudge cakearrived for an afternoon treat ... although this is a small establishment, there was plenty of seating, all spaced out so everything felt 'safe'we were shown to a table very quickly and placed our order ... drinks were brought and we waited about 10 minutes for our food ... which was duly delivered on beautiful vintage crockery ... the waffle was huge, almost as big as the plate, piled high with giant blueberries, strawberries, banana, ice cream and maple syrup ... the cornish pasty came with lots of salad ... both dishes were extremely tasty ... we then had some cake ... the cherry chocolate brownie is the best gf brownie i have tasted ... we both enjoyed our desserts so much that we took some orange almond (gf) and some more chocolate fudge cake away with us for laterthe ladies who served us at cafe cloud were very accommodating ... friendly, helpful and attentivefabulous little cafe with lots of gluten free options available

Me and my partner were on holiday in Cornwall and brought ourselves to Newquay for the day. I am gluten free so I researched places beforehand and seen this place had really good reviews. We sat outside and were quickly seen to by the lovely waitress (sorry we didn't catch your name!) I ordered a gluten free prawn mayo sandwich and my partner ordered a regular cream tea. My partners cream tea came out within 5 minutes of us ordering and my sandwich didn't arrive for another 10 minutes but when it did... I was gobsmacked! I almost wanted to check if the bread was gluten free because you don't find bread this thick in other establishments. We really enjoyed our food and thought that it was good value for money. When the waitress came to give us our bill she asked about if I enjoyed the GF bread and was happy to recommend other dishes and I ordered a gluten free cream tea to take away which I then ate later on at Fistral Beach. The only negative thing about our visit is that the table outside was slightly wonky and moved about but it wouldn't put us off coming again if we find ourselves back in Newquay. Thank you! :)

Perfect spot for lunch or afternoon tea. I always find being gluten intolerant that although places can cater there is not much choice. This is where Cafe Cloud is different so many different gluten free options including sandwiches and cream teas! The food was homemade and lovely and the customer service was perfect - would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Amazing vegan cream tea which is generally very hard to find in Cornwall. Great service and overall a very enjoyable experience.

Alighted on this place because it did a vegan cream tea for my daughter. That it was pretty and we didn’t have to queue for a table both bonuses. While daughter and I tucked into yummy cream teas (mine the “normal” option), my son polished off a large plate of beans in toast with added bacon, followed by the biggest waffle I have ever seen. I guess his first go at surfing gave him an appetite! Service was lovely and we returned again for breakfast on our final day and had an equally enjoyable time.

Visited for a post surf lunch. Regular and vegan cream teas both amazing with homemade scones and delicious coconut clotted cream with the vegan scone.

If you are coeliac and looking for somewhere to eat or get take out - this is the place to go! Such a range of gluten free options. Highly recommend the Gluten Free Cornish Pasty. We enjoyed the take out option and ate them over-looking the beach.

For such a small cafe and what looks like an independent business, the gluten-free options here are astonishing! Bigger companies and chains could definitely learn a thing or two from this cafe. They offer delicious gluten-free pasties (my first ever one!!), cakes and more. Moreover, staff were friendly and helpful so I felt re-assured that what I was eating was gluten-free. Will definitely be visiting again next time I'm in Cornwall. Keep going cafe cloud you're doing great :)

Really enjoyed our visit where we could enjoy many gluten free options. The Cornish pasty was delicious, and scones were the nicest gluten free scones we have ever had. All served on mismatched vintage plates, lovely! Would highly recommend!

We visited to sample a vegan cream tea as we’d seen it on various websites prior. The food was plentiful, beautifully homemade and really well priced. On the day of our visit the staff were quite flustered and disorganised which led to some tension with other guest but in a truly independent and family run place like that you can’t expect a slick 5* experience all the time. Definite benefit of the doubt here!

Visited the friendly welcoming cafe for a cream tea and to buy takeaway pasties. Large delicious gluten free scone and lashings of jam and cream! Lovely!!! I will be returning asap.

Being a celiac I find it difficult to find places that do regular sized portions of food I like to eat. Here was like I’d died and gone to heaven! We came back three times for this reason. I highly recommend their friendly and hardworking staff and the food is amazing even if you don’t have allergies.

Lovely staff, dog friendly, excellent coffee and good affordable breakfast. Lots of homemade pastries and sweet treats too.

Overrated waffles but all food was served in vintage crockery. Perfect for cream tea. Local Coffee was served here which was very good.

I came here as I saw the cafe recommended on a gluten free blog and I'm so glad I did pop in. Had the best cream tea ever , with the fluffyest scone ! Being coeliac makes things difficult when eating out and I have really struggled to find places while on holiday here or places I've been have told me their options are safe but I've had a reaction to them. When I got told that I could have pretty much everything and it was all prepared separately I had tears of joy! they have so many options which cater for GF , DF and more as well as vegan too! The staff are so lovey and welcoming. It's also dog friendly too ! safe to say I'll be back again tomorrow to stock up on scones, cake and pasties for the trip home!

Read the reviews on here before visiting. I am coeliac and on holiday nearby. So glad we found this place! We sat outside and ordered cooked breakfast. I was hesitant about the gf bread which comes with the gf option breakfast, however the lady that served us convinced me to at least try it. Glad I did, as I’ve never tasted gf bread like it! (The bread is locally sourced). Some gf sausage would be a great addition..we all love a nice sausage!We were so encouraged by the breakfast and spoilt for choices on the menu, we decided to take a chance on ordering some lunch to take out for a picnic later that day. I am not a food critic, but all I can say is…phenomenal! This little place just shows how good gluten free food CAN and should be! We ordered steak pasty and a cheese and onion pasty, lemon and almond cake, and the choc and raspberry cake! Staff were very polite, and friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable about coeliac safe food! Totally recommend this place!

Absolute gem of a cafe!We visited today for lunch and were blown away by the quality and selection of gluten free food. My coeliac daughter couldn’t believe the choice she had. Staff were friendly and incredibly knowledgable. We enjoyed great gf pasties, cakes and scones. They have separate gluten free cooking facilities which make such a difference to confidence when eating somewhere new. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Just had a fantastic breakfast the food was lovely and freshly cooked, hash brown was cooked just how I liked it. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Worst fry up breakfast I have ever had! It came out and I thought hmmm hope it tastes better than it looks but unfortunately it didn’t! It had been microwaved or been sat under a heat lamp for hours. Everything was like warm and the hash brown was soft and bendy! Will not be returning

We had the cream tea and the scones were lovely. They a very large too so filling. It’s a cute little cafe and the staff are polite. Would definitely come back.

Made a couple of visits during our trip and on both occasions had gluten free pasties. They were delicious and the cafe really know about cross contamination, would definitely return if we are in the area.

Omg what a gem of a place it was my first time here and it won't be my last visit. The staff was brilliant and patient full marks on that, then I had this devine omelette well I nearly fell of the bench lol , I recommend this little gem of a place to anyone , to the staff go ladies and thankyou

Visited as a large group for a birthday afternoon tea. The cafe is a quaint venue and yet they accommodated a group of 10 without issue. We all had afternoon tea, choice of sandwich fillings and a fabulous homemade scone, was lovely. The savoury tea with homemade cheese and chive scone was also a great hit and we even took away additional cheeae scones for home.Service was friendly and attentive and would definitely recommend for a light lunch or cream tea.

My partner and I visited this afternoon with our dog. The staff were super friendly to accommodate us all and super chatty. Dogs are allowed inside which was great to get out of the wind. We both had a cream tea and the scones are INCREDIBLE!!The doggy biscuits also made our dog happy which means happy humans! We will definitely be returning when we visit Newquay again. 10/10 guys, thank you very much for the lovely experience.

Arguably the best scones I have ever eaten! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The Café has a great décor to it, giving the illusion that the weather is glorious even if it is raining outside. (some of the ornaments and paintings are available for purchase should you feel so inclined!) This is the perfect place to stop, have a coffee and cake and recharge before exploring the rest of Newquay!100% will visit again!

Great gluten free choice - gluten free bread makes most options available & the gluten free cakes are a real winner! Friendly, helpful staff

Decided to pop in after walking down the high street. My only problem was my appetite wasn’t big enough. The sweet and savoury cream teas were some of the best I have experienced and the size of the scones was mahousive! Having a sweet tooth I couldn’t leave without having the raspberry cheesecake brownie. I could have sat there all day eating this treat over and over again. The coffee was also great and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. For coffee, tea or cake in the area the place is a must visit.

This is one of absolutely favour places to eat in Newquay. The service is always great, and the food is fantastic. My recommendation is to try the home-made tea cakes, they are special.The staff are all very dog friendly (they always have a wee treat for our schnauzer).

Popped into Cafe Cloud to get a gluten free pasty. So many places in Cornwall do not cater for GF customers but this cafe does and I waa really pleased. The pasty was excellent. Put me on cloud 9. Plus going inside you can see the amount of effort the café has made on a covid secure environment. Great place to eat.

I visited cafe cloud with my mum and sister on 17th October 2020 and the food was great. We all had lunch, tea and a cake and it all tasted great. They also have a lot of vegan, and gluten options so they cater for different people. I definitely recommend this cafe and it was reasonably priced.

Went to this cafe because of reviews and we were so disappointed. We all had breakfasts and were all underwhelmed. Poor quality ingredients which we really were not expecting, so unfortunately we won’t be going back.

Finally!!! I managed to find somewhere that made GF pasty’s and what a delight they were. Enjoyed under the beach huts watching all the surfers at fistral beach :)

Would highly recommend this cafe. The food is great. I had a full English on my first visit, which was great value for money and really tasty. A lot of gluten free options here which was hard to come by at other places in Newquay. Both the gluten free and regular pasties were delicious! Vegan and gluten free scones on offer, lots of homemade cakes as well. The staff were really friendly and always wore face masks. Screens put up in between tables and tables wiped regularly. Think I visited 3 times over the course of the week. Would definitely return!

I visited this morning with friends. Had the most delicious breakfast. Vegan waffle, strawberries, blueberries, vegan ice cream & maple syrup. Thank you! Can thoroughly recommend. Can't wait to go back later in the week for a vegan cream tea!! 😋

We decided to visit Cafe Cloud after it being recommended by another coeliac on instagram and we were not disappointed. There was lots of choice for Gluten free customers including a traditional steak pasty and cream tea! Staff were friendly and attentive.

We visited this beautiful cafe on 10/09/2020 with our three huskies - we were welcomed with open arms despite having three larger dogs. Our dogs were so calm and relaxed in there and the staff were so polite and kind and asked us all about our fluffy babies. They couldn’t do more to help us feel settled and comfortable. The cream tea was THE BEST I have ever had, the way it was served to us looked amazing and we weren’t rushed at all, it was absolutely delicious.Can I say a huge well done to the team at Cafe Cloud because despite Covid making a terrible impact on our lives they have really gone to every effort to make sure that all of their customers (furry ones included!) feel safe and looked after. I cannot wait to come back again and have already been recommending to all of our friends who visit Newquay!Thank you so much for also thinking of the dogs, even bringing them treats over and having a water bowl outside the shop for dogs that are passing as well as the fluffy customers.

Couldn't have found a better place, no booking, straight in, wanted a decent cornish afternoon tea but instead got a fantastic one, super fresh sandwiches, superb freshly made in the premises scones all with hot drinks included, very friendly staff too. Would certainly recommend this

Went here as I wanted to sample a Cornish cream tea and saw the good reviews. I'm a coffee drinker so asked if I could have coffee instead of tea, and was told "no problem." However we were then asked to pay something well in excess of what two cream teas by the menu should be. We queried this believing they had made a mistake and were told "well, you have to pay extra for the coffee." NO. I didn't ask you to sell me a coffee and a cake, if that was what I'd wanted that would have been what I ordered. I asked for a cream tea, with a coffee instead of the tea, and if you can't or won't do this just say so - don't pretend you will and then sneakily try to overcharge people. When we objected, the manager who was one of two people behind the counter apparently doing nothing, weighed in with loud protests about having to think off their profits. We left without eating, so I can't comment on what the food is like. There was one other family there who also seemed to be having some kind of issue and left the same time as us.

Due to the circumstances we had a staycation in Newquay this year. I knew it was going to be busy what with the need to book restaurants etc in advance.I cam across the lovely Cafe Cloud on a google search for afternoon tea. I contacted the cafe through Facebook messenger to organise a date. The lady was super friendly abd gave me ideas of where else to eat whilst I was in the area.I booked in for a Saturday afternoon, on arrival I was seated inside at a table with screens either side. The decor is very bright and cheerful and fits in so well with its location.The afternoon tea was lovely, the sandwiches were delicious and made fresh and the scones were still warm from the oven!The lady I had spoke to on Facebook came out for a chat too. Such a super friendly place and great food. Hope to return next summer.

Called in here as had read it was the place to go for gluten free treats. Being coeliac, it's so hard to find decent homemade food let alone pastry. I had a cheese and onion pasty, which was definitely homemade and delicious. I also made an absolute pig of myself and had a great cream tea, with HOT scone. I literally couldht more but was so happy. These guys deserve masses of credit for supporting coeliacs. Such a shame it's so far away otherwise I'd be here every weekend

We visited on the Friday before bank holiday for breakfast, mainly because our oldest is partial to a sweet breakfast given half the chance! We were given the cute table in the corner and the kids loved it. Lovely atmosphere (even with COVID measures in place!), prompt service and good food. Tea in bone china cups, kids juice in lovely little bottles and yummy food. My daughter had a half size of the waffles with fruit, ice cream and maple syrup, my husband a full English, whilst I had the scrambled eggs with toast and smoked salmon. Thoroughly recommended!

We went to the Cafe given its reputation for Gluten Free food.The staff were very helpful and friendly and we were not disappointed when the food arrived.We had sandwiches and Cream scones which were delicious.Such a pleasure to find a cafe catering so well for those with a gluten free diet.Many thanks.

I was attracted to this restaurant as it advertised gluten-free cheese and onion pasties out the front. We didn't actually get the chance to eat lunch but we visited for breakfast. Fantastic options for Coeliacs and also some really unique gluten-free options e.g. waffles and pasties, as well as the standard gluten-free options you get like a full English. I had a savoury waffle which had bacon and pecan nuts on it - it was delicious and a really generous portion for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful and as the restaurant is small, there are big plastic shields between each table so you feel very safe! I wish I had ordered a pasty to take home with me and they also have a very good range of fresh gluten-free cakes on offer. It's really nice to visit a place where gluten-free is regarded as just as important as serving everybody else! A must-visit for any Coeliac - thank you Cafe Cloud!

Fantastic for breakfast and lunch. We went for breakfast and then ended up going back for lunch. Friendly, good extensive menu with a range of options, tasted great! Recommend the Cornish cream tea, the scones are massive and warm! Covid aware and good precautions! We will be going back!!

What a little gem of a cafe, emailed owner with regards to booking a table, reply was prompt and table booked. Creamed tea was fantastic, sandwiches, smoked salmon and cheese or cheese and ham, all fresh. I don’t drink tea, happy to replace with a drink of my choice. screens up for protection, face masks worn and just fab friendly staff. Well done

Wonderful cafe! Great food and good atmosphere. Highly recommend , Had a lovely breakfast of vegan and gluten free waffles , which were delicious. And came back the following day and had a great veggie English breakfast with lovely quality gluten free bread. My family had a lovely cream tea, with tea in proper china cups , and they were very impressed with the impressive sized scones. I believe there were also gluten free scones available Had to wait a little while but they were handling covid precautions very well and felt very safe and looked after. Also really good prices which was a lovely bonus x

We booked this afternoon tea as a last minute due to weather but we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea and lunch. The cafe is very cute and cozy and offer a range of options on the menu. The service was very quick and friendly and the cafe is Covid safe. We would visit again and would recommend pre booking a table.

This cafe is a little nugget. It’s tiny and you have to book ahead if you want to be assured of getting a table, but it’s worth the effort. What drew us to this gorgeous little eatery is the wide range of gluten free products they provide. Our daughter in law has terrible trouble getting GF treats, but here she was able to get GF scones, cakes and Cornish Pasties. She said they were all absolutely delicious. Their non-GF foodstuffs are pretty awesome too, especially their strawberry jam!! Nothing is too much trouble for the extremely hard working staff who make you very welcome, while providing you with glorious food, We know this year has hit them hard and they are struggling to make ends meet so please visit this little place when you’re in Newquay (right by Sainsbury’s in Fore Street). This gorgeous little place deserves to survive and to thrive, so please take the time when you’re in Newquay to visit them and sample their wares, you really won’t be disappointed,

Have to say, what a little gem. Visited after seeing a photo of their waffles and bacon with syrup, I needed them in my life. They did not disappoint. Husband had a cooked breakfast which he said was good too.I have to say in they are taking their covid measures seriously, plastic screens between tables and asked for track and trace details. Waitresses stood well back whenever possible other than placing food down, working in catering myself I witnessed good hygiene practices. Well done ladies. I may return for a cream tea if I get chance. Definitely recommend.

After reading the great reviews for this cafe I decided to visit whilst in Newquay. They had a choice of steak or cheese and onion gluten free pasties. I bought one of each,I also purchased a gf cream tea. All three items came in a small cardboard box, much better than plastic or polystyrene. I ate the steak pasty for lunch, it was my first pasty in over ten years and it was amazing, the pastry was amazing, good amount of filling with the right combination of veg and meat. I had intended to eat the other pasty and scone for my dinner but sadly my daughters dog ate both of them :( .

My wife is coeliac and we were super impressed with the large amount of gluten free items they had to offer. They were also very COVID secure/safe. All the staff were super friendly and they even allowed dogs in. If you are in the area and want to eat out, please head over to Cafe Cloud and support this local business. We will 100% be back next year when we are down.

Lovely little cafe in central Newquay, just round the corner from Sainsbury’s. Hand sanitiser, clear screens in between the tables & staff wearing masks all made for a safe visit. Wonderful Cornish afternoon tea, well presented with high quality produce. The menu is varied and suitable for the whole family & varied tastes.I will visit here again when back in Newquay.

Stopped here for lunch after a long walk with our dog, very friendly welcoming staff, Nice food and excellent cakes, clean and compliant to covid regulations, certainly return in the future.

Went in here the day after lock down was eased on July 5th, made to feel very welcome.My girlfriend and myself had a beautiful lunch of freshly made sandwiches and salad that was fresh and delicious, The staff were very friendly and the decor was beautifully done, it stood out in the street. All in all would definitely go back and would highly recommend a visit

Excellent tea. Fresh cheese and proper ham sarnies and warm homemade scones with jam and clotted cream. Good price but did charge £1 extra for a black coffee no sugar which i thought a bit pricey but on the whole a very good tea. Too full for my evening meal at hotel later shld have had a bit earlier. Would go there again. Good staff and very pleasantly decorated

I came here about 9ish on a Saturday as part of a weekend trip to Newquay, and I was pleasantly surprised! This cafe is exceptionally well-presented and immaculately clean. The breakfast was very good and the service was friendly and quick. I cannot fault it at all. If I lived in Newquay I would be coming here very often! Absolutely top notch.

I visited Cafe Cloud very recently while having a short break in Newquay, based on the very positive reviews on Trip Advisor, not least for gluten free choices.The owner was incredibly friendly, happily describing to me her experienced career journey in the food industry through to opening this lovely place within the past year.A leisurely visit included a flavourful pot of tea with a yummy gluten free lemony flapjack followed by a freshly made gluten free waffle with banana and maple syrup. I wouldn't have known either product was gluten free, such was the lovely taste.Highly recommended!

We absolutely love this place! The whole team are so friendly and go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The environment is really calm and the food is delicious! All food preferences are covered which is brill. We will always visit when we go to Newquay.

We called in here recently on a cold and damp January day but inside it was like a ray of sunshine.With a seaside look of crisp white and blue you clearly see it was spotlessly clean, the ladies who were cooking/service etc, were all very friendly and the food was all well prepared and the scones and cakes looked homemade and were delicious.Certainly a real gem in Newquay, one not to be missed.

I am away travelling and wanted to arrange an afternoon tea for my family. Caroline helped me arrange this, went out of her way to help me and created a lovely vochure that I could give to my parents. Customer service couldn't have been better!They had the most wonderful time, they said the shop is lovely and quaint, they really liked the vintage feel. The cafe is light and airy and just the perfect spot for the most delicious cream tea. They said they were treated so well and had s lovely time.I want to say a massive thank you to the wonderful people at cafe cloud who helped me! I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone who needs their day brightening.

We were enticed into this little cafe on a cold, wet, January day. We were attracted by its spotless appearance and bright seaside blue and white decor. The welcome from the owner and her staff was warm and friendly. Everything on the menu is homemade, from the delicious broccoli and cheese soup to the toasted tea cakes. This is a real little gem and definitely worth a visit.

Food was ok when we eventually got it. But the service was very slow, waiting over half an hour for a sandwich. This was our second time here, but sadly our last, we won’t return.

Have never been served a homemade teacake before, but this little cafe did just that. It was delicious with just the right amount of spice, peel and fruit. Was told that because they couldn't source teacakes of a good enough quality they decided to make their own!

During our short break to Newquay we have popped into several Cafe's, not one stood out like this one. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from the young lady at the counter, and instantly felt at home in the lovely decor with comfortable seating. Every thing looked and smelt amazing, including all of the clearly house made Cakes and Scones. We opted for two of the cloud English Breakfasts, and there wasn't a spec of grease in sight! We'd already had a lot of Coffee so instead opted for Milkshakes as an extra treat. Again delicious! It's not often a Cafe gets our attention like this one. My only problem was that we didn't spot it the first day, other wise we would have been back again and again to try the delicious treats. Thanks to the lovely ladies who were all very friendly and attentive!

Visited with my family and doggie and we enjoyed the lovely food in a great atmosphere for a good price. Would definitely recommend.

I have loved cafe cloud ever since we stumbled across it one raining day in Newquay so when I found out my mum and sister had booked out the whole place got me and all my friends I was delighted. And I wasn’t disappointed - the afternoon tea spread they put on was second to none. The products were so fresh, baked on the day, scrummy sandwiches with a variety of fillings and such a huge selection of cakes, and scones, with lots of jam and cream. Nothing was scrimped on and the pink bubbly fizz flowed all afternoon. Every member of staff were so kind and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. It was so special having the place all to ourselves, and they made me feel very special by having a board outside welcoming me and my bridal party for the afternoon. They cater for vegan and gluten free and have a while kitchen separate for their gluten free products. Really impressed with this.

If you’re looking for good food and coffee, pop into Cafe Cloud. Lovely little spot, with really quaint decor. We had scrambled eggs and soy latte and also toast and jam and a mocha. All of it was yummy as hell! Thanks for looking after us!

Well where do I start? You pulled out all the stops for my daughter’s “hen” tea. The food was wonderful so much choice and everything was so fresh and tasty. The service was first class and the enthusiasm of the staff second to none. It was the highlight of the entire weekend. In fact it was so good we had to go back again on Monday before leaving.

We wanted somewhere that did a traditional cream tea and found this place on TripAdvisor. It is a step up from a lot of other places on the same street. The scones were freshly made and generous and we had a friendly welcome.

Finally visited Cafe Cloud yesterday...after coming to Newquay for over 10 years and saying we need to try this cafe! Only needed a bite to eat for my partner...she picked the gluten free orange and almond cake and I picked a milkshake...her cake was amazing better than any normal made cake...we decided to takeaway a couple of gluten free raspberry and chocolate brownies for later that evening....and we both said they were the best brownies we have ever had....and I’m not gluten free! That’s says something about the gluten free brownies....my partner wants to take a whole tray of the brownies home with her.

This cafe is so highly rated on Trip Adviser that we thought we were really lucky to have managed to get a large table for 6 adults and 2 kids at 1:30pm on a Saturday. We were all starving so ordered mostly cooked breakfasts. Pricing was weird though - small breakfast was a brilliant bargain for the 2 little ones - sausage, egg, hash brown, beans and toast for £2.50 but I ordered full veggie breakfast for £6.50 and this came on the same size plate with the only difference being 2 fried eggs not just 1 and a spoonful of mushrooms. Not even 2 veggie sausages. So randomly paid £4 for a second egg and few mushrooms.

This place is just up from the harbour and seems to be the only place a coeliac can get a pastie in Newquay! Lots of other GF things on the menu.

Big portions served,nice people helping with food requirement. I also liked the tea set. Lovely and cosy place.

My partner wanted to visit as she is gf and dairy free, we went for a breakfast and the ladies that served us were helpful and attentive, special comment to the gluten free bread. We enjoyed it so much that we simply had to try a bit of their lunch menu, the gluten free pastie was also dairy free (not sure if always is or not) but my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed it whilst I munched on the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had. Would love to visit again if in the area.

Two meals taken at Newquay, and both at Cafe Cloud. Everyone's food was delicious, the portions were generous and the home-made tart a revelation. Nothing to fault, welcoming of dogs and just fab! Has become a go-to when we are near the Newquay beaches.

I have come here before over the past years and this year was just as good as the others!

In a very turistic city this place is so British and nice. A very good breakfast. Recommend! Lovely owners and good position

If I could go back every day I would!! My first ever cream tea and it was delicious! We turned up just as the cafe was about to close but they didn’t turn us away. They were very welcoming. The scones were amazingly fresh and they even gave our daughters a complimentary slice of Victoria sponge cake - which they demolished as it was just as tasty! We would highly recommend this delightful cafe we just wish that we had discovered it earlier in our holiday!

Amazing little cafe with warm and friendly welcome...being celiac it made me feel very safe as I was served by celiac who had great knowledge about everything that was on the menu....menu has a lot of gluten free, vegan options including delicious desserts...highly recommended their gluten and dairy free waffles...simply amazing

Cafe Cloud has so many gluten-free options! There are cakes (4 or 5 different ones when we went), scones, pasties, fantastic bread (best I've ever had by a mile)... I've never seen a GF selection like it! There are also lots of vegan options, including a coconut cream, which means you can have gluten- and dairy-free cream tea, which is pretty rare. Everything tasted so good as well! I'd read some reviews on TripAdvisor before going and my expectations were high, but Cafe Cloud still exceeded them. I have been back once already (the day after our first visit), and am hoping to go back again before the end of our holiday!
