Already recommended it to so many people. It was absolutely perfect we really loved it, best michelin restaurant we did in London to this day. The food was incredible, we loved and recognised the french cuisine with such amazing twists such as Terre et Mer and the use of many citrus. I can't wait to come back, can't wait to try Le Bar. We loved the opportunity to meet the chef Pascal as well who was amazing and very kind. A bientôt!!

Our second time at this wonderful restaurant. The food and service were superb. Club Gascon had been awarded a Michelin dish of the month for December and was well deserved. Every dish was excellent from the tasting menu and the wine pairing matched beautifully.

The food is very tasty. The chef is very classy but with some modern twist. The dining room is beautifully decorated. There is plenty of space between tables. The service is flawless- friendly,professional and efficient. The pace is very well controlled. The portion is surprisingly big! Would definitely recommend to everyone!Well worth the price!

I Got 8 course tasting menu. The taste was too strong with many spices and the combination was not so balanced, i don't really like sourness goes with bitterness without any sweet. All courses were either with bitter or sour flavour. Salmon was tasteless sorry to say. Foie gas a bit too salty.

Having googled "Michelin Starred French Restaurant in London" Club Gascon was one of the first options to pop-up. A quick sense-check of the reviews, it seemed worthy of a booking, but if I'm being honest, we were rather disappointed by our experience. For complete transparency, this was our first time eating "classically" French fine-dining but having eaten at a number of other Michelin starred restaurants in the past - we had little reason to believe our evening would have been anything short of fantastic. We ordered the 8 course tasting menu - both the "regular" and vegetarian options. None of the dishes we received were particularly memorable, with some flavour / texture combinations leaving us a bit perplexed. E.g. The squirrel terrine with hazelnuts, partridge leg / offal meat on a sugar tart. But understanding that "taste" can often be subjective, I don't want to dwell on this... What particularly disappointed us was two-fold. The attention to detail: Receiving a chipped wine glass, and having wine accidentally spilt onto our table and then not offered to be cleaned up. Not something we would typically focus on but when you're paying a premium, you expect a premium level of attention. The perception that our servers' did not know what what was "in" the food. Whether this was an "off" night (Thursday), I'm not sure, and whilst perfectly pleasant, it often felt like we were trying to coax out of staff what had gone into our dishes... On a few occasions, our questions yielding a single ingredient response or a bemused look. In our view, the beauty of the upper tier of dining is the "experience" and "story-telling", for the staff to take you on a journey of what, how and where the food has been produced... Bringing to life what has put in front of you (figuratively speaking, of course!) Finally, the presentation. The food was refined and well presented. The restaurant itself, however, was maybe more dated than we have come to expect, quintessentially looking like you would have expected a fine dining establishment to have looked in the 90s. We are absolutely not in the habit of writing negative reviews for the sake of it but we feel like it is important to give an honest appraisal of our experience, for this to be viewed constructively and hopefully improved upon in the future.

Un dîner excellent. La richesse et l’équilibre de saveurs dans chaque plat vaut réellement le détour. L’agneau tout particulièrement était à tomber. Bravo au chef qui mérite sa réputation. En revanche, bien que le personnel soit très agréable, l’attention aux détails que l’on attendrait d’un restaurant étoilé manquait quelque peu. J’ai mangé l’entrée avec la carte des vins qui me gênait sur la table et j’ai du rappeler le serveur qui s’en allait avec l’assiette vide pour pouvoir commander mon verre de vin. Dommage car sinon c’était un 10/10.

I was visiting a friend in hospital nearby. I remembered the restaurant from the early 2000 and thought I'd take a look. I have the most amazing memories of a few of their famous dishes. So I went in and asked about them. I spoke to the amazing maitre D Francesca and asked if it was at all possible to eat.... Well Francesca went above and beyond to accommodate me and had the most marvelous time... Thank you to all the staff and kitchen.

Food was great, had the 8 course tasting menu and only disliked one dish - neither of us liked the frosted rock, tasted like pink dish soap. As others have posted, you are paying a lot for the menu and this comes with high expectation of service level and food. And this really feel short. It was very good but just not that 5 star level it should be based on price. The two servers were very nice and the one lady was great. And, if this was a regular restaurant and we were having a 3 course meal I would not have a problem with the service. For a MICHELIN start restaurant the service fell short. The restaurant needs a least another server to help; the two people seemed really overwhelmed and could not maintain the level of service necessary. Plates were left on the table after done eating far too long, we had to ask repeatedly for another glass of wine, pacing of dishes was off, etc. It is all these minor points which differentiate a restaurant from 8/10 to 10/10. it is the difference between a really nice and 5 star. The restaurant has been there for 25 years so I am sure it will be fine despite my review, but customers should be aware this it not a 5 star Michelin restaurant anymore.

First time visitor, had the vegetarian, 6 course menu, which was absolutely amazing. Dish of the meal, was the stuffed courgette flowers.Came with the most amazing smoked bread, and that green sauce! Divine, never had a sauce as smooth as that. Overall the experience was nothing but excellent. Staff were also very nice and talkative, explaining about the food, history of the restaurant and feelings of the chef. No rushing at all, atmosphere was amazing, we were actually the first people in for the evening so the place was completely empty and lovely. There was nice and relaxing background music. Found the portion size to be a overall excellent (just a tinsy bit too much, but we tend to eat less than average) and you definitely will be fed after. As besides the courses there are other little bits and bobs. Will be looking to return, though it is definitely several times above our usual price range for a meal out, the taste and experience was worth it for a very special occasion.

Went here for a tasting menu with wine pairing here a couple of weeks ago. Very quiet for a Friday evening. Everything was beautifully presented, service was polished, and the food was truly and comically abysmal. Whilst consistently unpleasant, highlights included (a) 'Smoked bread' (which tasted like cigarettes); (b) exploding fois gras bubbles in duck soup with grated tuna heart which tastes like it sounds; and (c) an undercooked pigeon despite my asking for it to be anything but. Felt a bit sorry for the staff (as it was a bit funny) and left hungry which should not really be happening at £600 for 2 (!). To note however: (i) it has really stayed in the memory; and (ii) this place used to be v. good/reliable pre-pandemic - not sure if the chef has changed or something.

We were so looking forward to this meal. We were celebrating our anniversary. We traveled long distance for this meal. To our surprise, this meal was lack luster. The wine was not good for 130 pounds as recommended. The sommelier was a little snooty in his expertise. The lamb was fatty. The food was warm. The sides did not go well with the entrees. I just don't get how jello cumcumber is so good with any entree. From the beginning to the end, the quality of the food was not good and was not savory. The food tasted bland. We couldn't wait to get out of there. We had 6 course-meals and spent a lot of money, which we did not mind for our celebration. But it was advertised as a Michelin quality. So we thought.

I found this place while researching London. It’s one Michelin star and certainly deserves it. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted. The place was quiet for our 6:45 pm reservation, but filled up within an hour. We reserved the four course meal for 85.00 EURO each. It was terrific. The food is tasty and well presented. The tulip with quinoa is unusual and presented with thought and care. It’s neat. The other dishes were flavorful and subtle. The desert was great, especially the cheese filled macaroon. The service is exceptional. The waiters and head waitress (a red haired woman who was awesome) are top notch! Overall bill: About 330.00 EURO which includes four glasses of champagne. Try it today!

I went for a 50th birthday celebration and we had a lovely time that will stay in our memories for a long time. This was the first visit to Club Gascon in a few years and I’m sorry to say I was really disappointed. It seems to be stuck in the past. The decor is still quite elegant, but the food wasn’t so impressive. Of the 6 course tasting menu, only 2 courses + the bread were of any distinction. The service style was quite peculiar, in particular the sommelier had a very condescending, and almost antagonistic approach. It’s a real shame but I feel the restaurant has really lost its edge and I don’t expect I’ll visit again.

My first visit here and highly recommended. Had the eight course tasting menu with wine pairing. Each dish was incredibly creative, beautifully presented and, above all else, tasted wonderful. The staff were attentive, very professional, and really friendly. Not remotely stuffy, as some high-end restaurants can be. It felt like a small, family-run restaurant, albeit with a Michelin star. Expensive, but worth it if you are lucky enough to be able to afford it.

I probably missed out by choosing a 6-course menu rather than the full 8. Specifically the attendant was very considerate. I wanted to avoid lactose although not strictly diary free. So they accommodated by changing certain dishes to vege. In general the vibe is good for chatting and not too formal. tastes is balanced and portion is fitness-friendly. Layout is also quite creative. Truly a feast for both stomach and eyes. Not cheap but worth a treat sometimes.

The menu is so interesting, I had forgotten how sophisticated food could be after COVID. The foies gras flan was the most interesting treatment, the creamy richness of the liver was paired perfectly with thin slices of peeled cranberries. The sorbet was served on a block of Himalayan salt which added the perfect counterpoint to the sweet dessert. The cassoulet had all the rich complex flavors of the dish in a tiny artistic package. The wine pairings were outstanding, but the service puts this place at the top. Francesca was just so lovely and introduced us to the unbelievably talented and gracious chef. Club Gascon made celebrating our 20th anniversary unforgettable in the best way, they are awesome!

The good: You can see the chef pours his heart into the restaurant. His personality shines through in every little detail: the decor, flowers, and the theme of autumn that transpires through the plating and dishes. The amouse bouche gives you a wonderful taste of what’s to come. The taste of autumn vegetables together with an explosion of tomatoes and melon leaves you wanting more. The highlights of this 6 course tasting menu for me were definitely the cauliflower carpaccio where every bite sings with flavor and the venison which melted in your mouth. I’d like to note the thoughtfulness of the chef who offered a sauce replacement for the Guinness and oyster sauce because I was intolerant to fish and seafood. Quite a nice touch that I really appreciated. Our red wine skillfully picked by the somelier worked brilliantly with the full menu and the pink champagne was excellent. We booked this for my birthday and it was lovely to receive a hand written card from the chef and the staff, wishing me a happy birthday. I found it a very hearty and lovely touch to the experience especially since the picture on the card was drawn by one of the restaurant’s staff (very talented). The interesting: The duck foie gras was an interesting one. It was the first time I tasted it warm and it felt a bit heavy for me. However, the fig and fourme and the pimm’s delicacy felt tasteless in a stark contrast with the beginning of the menu. At first we thought that maybe it wasn’t to our personal liking but we heard the tables around us share the same conversations that we had. Most of the staff was really friendly and fun with one exception, but we all sometimes have bad days so I can’t judge. Overall it was a good experience and if you want to see the full creativity of the chef on each plate, then this is the place to go.

Prior to coming to Club Gascon I was extremely exited to dine at a French Michelin starred restaurant in London and my expectations were extremely high. I knew I wouldn’t be able to maximise my experience by opting for the tasting menu because it limits what you can eat and you end up having the same dishes as your partner or whoever you’re dining with. However, I really enjoyed the restaurant and the staff treated us with the highest level of professionalism I had ever experienced in London. The tasting menu food was so clever in its presentation and flavour combinations. The starter of bread and flavoured butter was so good it left me wanting more but it would’ve been too filling if I had more. The classic French flavours and methods of cooking were masterfully done by the chefs and the waiters did a great job explaining every single element on each plate. I highly recommend this restaurant but some may not enjoy it as much if they choose the tasting menu. If you are able to afford the full menu and drink pairings then this would be a Michelin starred restaurant to remember.

We had the Jubilee 3 course menu.The duck main course was the highlight of our meal. The bread and butter were also very good. The starter and the dessert were average. Really excellent food and dining service with a good interior. Staff were professional at explaining the menu as well as making guests feel welcome. Prices for the dishes are pricy but not too expensive, I would say its definitely worth every penny and not overpriced. If you haven't tried this place I would strongly reccomend you to. It is no surprise this place is Michelin star P. S. bacon flavoured butter was yummy. Edit: came back a few years later and while service is great we felt that the value was not as good as before, this was mainly due to the menu for 2022 summer, while the place is still good we found polystyrene in one of our dishes? Again the food is very interesting and sophisticated but sometimes some of the flavour compositions were a bit too out there for our liking.

I think last night's dinner here was the best meal I've ever had (and me and my companion have eaten in fine restaurants all over the world). I live in France, but would be hard pushed to find anything as good as this.. Every mouthful from the tasting menu was delicious, with flavour combinations that really worked magic with the most beautiful ingredients. The eight course tasting menu was sheer genius. The service was excellent. Though not cheap, for a Michelin star restaurant, it represents excellent value.

Les plats sont très bons, mais les quantités sont très faibles. Particulièrement le veau, servi sans accompagnement (voir photo). Heureusement qu’il y avait du pain. Overall experience was great service, fantastic and careful display, but ordinary dishes… we had one vegetarian and one non-veg menu. The vegetarian was better in taste. Atmosphere was cosy and dim light, making the dinner intimate. For food: the starters and chef selection were fantastic, would give 5/5. The bread and butter was mind blowing, we couldn’t help but had to ask for more and more. The main courses were big in portion, for the foie gras specifically, it’s very heavy. Wasn’t amazed by ingredients or combination of cooking method. Overall the dishes in the vegetarian menu were lighter and more refreshing

We (party of 5) had the 7 course tasting menu. We arrived at the opening time of 6pm so naturally the restaurant was empty and service was on par. As the restaurant filled we were forgotten about, regularly having to signal that our wine glasses were empty (after waiting 15 mins), water was also similarly scarce as the night progressed. A menu should be very clear as to the contents of a dish as the Foie Gras came with a beef stock. A friend avoids beef for religious reasons so we had a bit of a back and forth with the waiter to secure a replacement dish. Factoring all of that the course of Foie Gras in foam, nestled in the pool of beef stock was delicious and hands down my favourite dish. It was explained that the chef likes to design their dishes as a first step in the creation process and I agree each dish looked interesting. However, the taste was interesting for different reasons as we couldn’t understand the appeal of a number of dishes. The white chocolate aero (it was a lot more dense than an aero) in what looked like squid ink with caviar got worse with each spoonful. The cheese course with the ewe milk was found unpalatable by all at the table. The lamb was not as tender as I would have hoped and the tulip that accompanied it was bitter. I have to acknowledge the sorbet palette cleanser as we all really enjoyed it. Though, in hindsight that says a lot about our overall experience. The wine pairing didn’t wow so much but seemed to go with each course. Finally, it’s important I mention that we were seated right beside the toilets at the end of the restaurant. I would not expect the toilets to be in the middle of a Michelin star restaurant. Based on its reputation we felt sorely let down. Had it not been for my company I’m not sure I would have stayed around as long as I did.

I opted for the vegetarian menu and am lactose intolerant - I mentioned this at the time of booking and was assured I would be catered for. Some of the substitutions I was given weren’t even worthy of the high street chain restaurants I’ve visited, let alone a Michelin star restaurant. I was incredibly disappointed. A bowl of boiled beans is even below the standards of lazy home cooking. One of our party does not eat beef due to religious reasons - the foie gras course is apparently served in a beef broth. This was not at all mentioned on the menu and we only came to know about this as the food was served at our table. The cavalier response from our waiter to this issue was unacceptable and beyond subpar. I expected better. There was no concern or offer to rectify the issue - until we sought help from another member of staff (a lady with short hair and glasses). One of the amuse-bouche served was a rock-hard lump of ‘white chocolate’ which didn’t taste anything like white chocolate due to the incredibly overpowering brine flavour of the sauce that it sat in. Overall we found the balance in most dishes lacking and felt that the chef possibly doesn’t taste the completed dish once he’s designed it. We received attentive service at the beginning of our dinner as we were one of 2-3 tables in the restaurant, as the restaurant got busier we were consistently neglected as clearly there was a staff shortage. This neglect included a 15+ minute wait for wine glasses to be topped up. Additionally, the food is not presented as it looks in photographs at all - clearly the presentations standards for customers in the restaurant are not the same as it is for Instagram.

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointing with my whole experience ..we start good with Amuse buse and starters..after that the dinner went slowly slowly down..but the worst part was the desserts...first of all we didn't have a second choice..and that. Dessert that we took wasn't decent at all..looks like they didn't have pastry on that day and and another chef from the kitchen jumped on pastry section just to serve something .very poor dessert...as I had my birthday on that day they brought us "millioner" chocolate..Just disappointing very bad flavour..even chocolate from tesco was better than that..and also almost all the dishes had Cauliflower..for set menu of 120£ I don't recommended it at all. But the environment of the restaurant was good.. A woman that serve us the food was okay.. The hostess was very kind.. In general just the food needs improve!

Great team who made the evening very enjoyable. The combination of dishes are not what you would make at home and it was a voyage of discovery for the senses. Given that I had driven in to London for dinner having parking right next door was a bonus. Book via just park and relax knowing that you will not have to fight for a space. Well done to the team and the chef for a superb evening.

Lovely setting, although I enjoyed the evening I wont be returning. Each dish in its own was enjoyable however very rich. After eating, we waited 30 to 45mins for the bill and missed our train home. Was really disappointed. We visited Cigalon which is a sister restaurant of club Gascon and for us Cigalon is worth revisiting, again and again 😍😊

Tried their Christmas special tasting menu. Service and atmosphere was good but food was a bit ordinary, there was nothing that stands out. They used unique ingredients, dishes are nicely decorated but taste was not as amusing as they seemed - I expected more from Michelin star restaurant tbh. It was still a good restaurant but it was just not my taste so would try find a different place next time.

Fantastic dining experience, the chef has taken us through great 'food' journey from the canapés to the desert. I liked all the 7 courses, but I particularly loved the Duck Foie Gras and 'Cheese Cake'. The wine selection was excellent and we really enjoyed Francesca service, our sommelier.

Great place to go with the kids. Their Kids Go Free deal is a real game changer. Better than the current Kids Meal Deal on at Pizza hut! The monthly themes they have on are a gorgeous extra, the fancy dress costumes the staff wear really lighten the mood, not to mention the party games which are really inclusive with all staff and guests getting stuck in. Great sound system which is great at keeping the energy levels up! One small complaint though, the menu is difficult to navigate if you are following slimming world or slim fast. For example, there are no points conversions on the menus. Would be great if they could add so we could enjoy the oreo freak shake with a little less guilt. If you are going big and for all the courses, try the Trash Can Nachos, Club Gascon are NOT shy when it comes to the trimmings. Great day out had by all xxx

Aye! Pretty decent grub in fairness - honest family fayre. Decent kids menu and usually a "deal of the day" (plat de jour) - Mondays is steak night, Tuesdays curry and Sunday is carvery. We brought the kids for Halloween spook night (got a deal on Wowcher) and they were delighted with all the staff dressed as ghosts and gouls and lots of spooky treats which the little munchkins loved. For us grown up mummys 2-4-1 on Medium Zinfandel Rose kept us happy (well me n becki anyway) - the dad-cave has Pool tables and big screen TV with Premier Leage footy. Halloween theme is trough the whole month of October and we have pre-booked a festive treat, their SantaLand Xmas theme on 11th November and really looking forward to that. Highly recommend the Catering Managers Signature special (plat signature) DIRTY OREO FREAK-CAKE MILKSHAKE which is amazing, and we also really enjoyed the BELLY BUSTA DIJON CASSULET BURGER which is served with dirty-fried-tartiflette-muncherz and a pinapple ring.
