Brilliant Thai Restaurant in Bristol!! I was thoroughly happy with the evening spent at Everyday Thai. The food was brilliant and the service was just as good. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming making the experience even better. I would definitely recommend pad thai here as I personally felt it was one of the best I have had. The starters we had were spring rolls, chicken satay was amazing. The warm jasmine tea although a simple drink was warming especially on a chilly rainy evening. The restaurant has a huge menu selection in regards to curry and the red Thai curry we had was nothing short of brilliant. The desserts were decent as the choices were limited. The price is very reasonable considering the quantity and quality of the food. The restaurant does add a 10% service charge but considering the service, I was happy to indulge. Lastly, the restaurant has plenty of street parking and should be easy to find a spot regardless of day and time. Something to note, it can be easy to order too much here so make sure to ask about the quantity. If you are looking for a place with Thai cuisine, Everyday Thai is probably one of the best in Bristol.

Calm, no alcohol, very welcoming. Food was the most authentic Thai food I’ve ever seen, (including the desserts) if I’m ever in Bristol again, this is my go to place. The food is halal too.

We booked a birthday meal for 5 of us. Having checked the website it states very clearly “service charge add for groups of 6 or more”. Which I can see now they have changed that information. The food was adequate and the service was standard. The table wasn’t set up for 5 people although a phone call confirmed the number in the day. So my partner was perched at the end. We had to ask for cutlery because the table was not laid. Some staff could have been better with customer service. The bill came and service charged was added. I questioned this and was told “it’s mandatory and I have no option to pay”. I didn’t want to cause a fuss there and then so paid it. But on the way out told the manager they need to review their website as the information is correct. The amount of service charge was a lot compared to the service given and number of people in my party. The manager/owner admitted that the website was incorrect but there was nothing they could do because of staff running the restaurant. This will put me off going again to The Every day Thai.

Tasty food, cosy atmosphere, excellent customer service

We visited this restaurant several times soon after it opened then lock down and other things got in the way. suddenly decided to have a take away last night. Easy to order and very quick to be prepared. It was the best food I have had in a very long time. Well packed to be taken home still very hot on arrival and delicious Will not wait so long before we go again

Phil here again, me and the Misses checked out Everyday Thai for lunch. We had the crab Rangoon and PAD SEE-IEW with combination pork, beef, and chicken. Very tasty and great service. If you’re looking for something new check this place out. We will be going back again!

My bf and I always have the best time. We have been coming here since 2017 and the only thing that’s changed is a few decor but it’s remained the same otherwise. They still serve fantastic food and they are still so friendly and lovely, the owners actually take time to talk to you and smile. This is also the go-to place for my girls and I when we want delicious halal food. Highly recommend!!

I can't put into words how tasty this food is we chose the set menu as we wanted to try a bit of as much as we could turns out even that was even too much for us which they happily packaged up for us to take home. Tasty food and outstanding service well done 👏

First time trying Thai food. Was recommended this place by many friends. Service and establishment was very nice. However we personally didn’t enjoy the food. We spent around £180 between four people yet somehow the amount of food that came out didn’t reflect the pricing. The duck with pancakes tasted like dry biscuits. No taste almost. The other tamarind and duck was too over powering with an overly sweet taste that none of us took to . The one thing we did enjoy were the beef dishes and sauces. The other chicken and beef items tasted similar to each other. There seemed to be a a generic overly sweet taste to all of the food we tried. The ice teas were over powering and almost non drinkable. Maybe it was just us, who knows. But we didn’t enjoy our meal. We just scoffed it down due to not wanting to waste all that money. Service was awesome and staff were on standby at all times. This Thai restaurant is the best in the area. The portions are huge! When I asked to make my curry extra spicy they actually listened and gave me extra chillies. Mixed starter was so good and plenty of dip. Staff super friendly.

Our son is studying at UWE and lives five minutes walk from here. We visited over the weekend to celebrate his delayed degree results. We decided we wanted a Thai meal and he suggested Everyday Thai having been recommended it by housemates. We booked on Friday. Saturday lunchtime I had a call to confirm my booking. How glad I was that we had booked. I couldn't believe that somewhere tucked away in Fishponds could be so busy! The entrance was like bees round a honey pot but our host, Pickky, had everything under control and we were soon seated and drinks ordered. Such a lot of tasty choices on the menu. What to choose. We settled on the Tapas selection for starters: calamari, crispy vegetables and spring rolls. For mains we chose chicken with cashew nuts, king prawn with cashew nuts and pad Thai. Whilst we waited we watched moped delivery drivers arriving and leaving, all handled smoothly and meals being served expertly to a table of eight and a table of twelve, as well as numerous take away collections. Our starters arrived, exquisitely presented - how did they carve a carrot into a flower. Very tasty! The calamari was perfect. Sometimes some restaurants can over cook it and it can be rubbery. The vegetables were excellent. Peppers, courgettes, mushrooms, even cauliflower! Hats off to the chefs. My son doesn't care much for cauliflower but was impressed with the taste. The food was all hot We were hungry and even ate the shredded carrot and cabbage dressing, although it was difficult to dip it in the sauce, partly because we'd devoured so much of it! We waited in anticipation for our mains. We commented that we should have ordered some prawn crackers. As if reading our minds, our waiter came over to apologise for the wait and bringing some complimentary prawn crackers! Most welcome. The mains arrived and they didn't disappoint. Tasty and plentiful. A real treat! All too often in oriental restaurants and takeaways the main course meat or fish has little vegetable accompaniment but not so with ours. Equally, dishes with cashew nuts can sometimes have me looking for the cashews. Definitely not the case. Plenty of prawns and chicken. Plenty of vegetables. Plenty of rice. Plenty of pleasant conversation. Plenty of activity still in the kitchen and front of house! All in all a really nice meal, really nice company, really nice staff, a really nice restaurant and a really nice price!

Can’t believe it’s taken us so long to discover this gem! Superb Thai takeaway and even though it was very busy in the restaurant, the staff were so friendly as we waited. Good quality was excellent, fresh, tasty and none of that sitting heavy on your stomach you can get with a takeaway. Thoroughly recommended

Cosy friendly place (no alcohol) with lovely Thai food and nice staff. Try not to sit too close to the doors as it’s opening and closing constantly due to the popular takeaway service.

I suggested Everyday Thai for a friends night out - and having raved about the food beforehand, we were not disappointed. Everyone was impressed, and I think we have a few more converts. The setting is intimate, the service was attentive but not overbearing, and the food……absolutely amazing

This used to be my go-to for a great value for money meal but sadly the prices have risen again so now it's quite expensive. £30 per person for a set meal with crispy duck. They never give you enough pancakes so you have to ask for more which they charge for. The food is good and we always have to take some home so enough for at least a few more meals at home. Service is very good.

The Thai food here is - and has been for many years - absolutely beautiful. If you like Thai food.. you will really enjoy this restaurant. Excellent and friendly service just adds to the experience. Don’t be put off by the “no alcohol” rule.

You literally won't find a better lamb massaman in the country and the papaya salad is just a thing of beauty. Feel truly blessed to have this restaurant on my door step. I know a lot of people rant and rave about other Thai places down the road and across town, but this place smashes those places out of the park. If you do one thing before you die, order the lamb massaman, papaya salad and coconut rice or sticky rice. You won't be disappointed! Top work Everyday Thai!

Amazing food and wonderful service - we will be back !

We live in London and came to visit Bristol. We were looking for a halal place to eat. Wow we were amazed. The restaurant from the outside is not that spectacular, however the food is out of this world. We sid not book, but it was fully booked, we waited and then decided to get a takeaway. We ordered Beef stir-fried with chilli & basil, Prawns in Phanaeng gai & Egg fried rice. Sammy the owner was able to squeeze us i and we were able to eat in. The flavours of dishes were 👌🏿. We will definitely re-visit again.

Our visit to this very good Thai restaurant, in which we have often dined since it opened in 2014, was our first since October 2019. Back then we couldn’t have possibly imagined what would happen in early 2020 with the onset of the pandemic. During the strange times that followed we ordered and enjoyed a number of takeaway meals, and today, at long last, we sat down once again to eat what promised to be a fine meal. We had successfully made a reservation the previous evening though the restaurant’s website. We had perused the online menu and spotted quite a few plates that we thought we may order. Top of that list were the Tempura King Prawns (dish 42) but we were unable to find that plate on the table menu at the restaurant. Later, at home, we check the takeaway menu given to us with our bill. Dish 42 doesn’t mention Tempura Prawns, it is just called “Prawns with salt, chilli and almonds”. I guess the table menu is the same and that’s why we didn’t order it as planned. Sadly the table we were given wasn’t the best as it was adjacent to the door, and that was constantly being opened and closed as food couriers from Justuberoo, came and went. It was cold wet evening and this weather invaded our space and our comfort. One courier stood for 2-3 minutes in the doorway and held a conversation with a member of the restaurant staff, whilst letting a considerable draft of cold damp air; not good enough! We ordered some spicy prawn crackers and a bottle of sparking Bottle Green elderflower presse (750ml). This soon arrived and helped us concentrate on selecting our plates. To start, as we couldn’t find the Tempura Prawns, we decided on Crispy Duck with pancakes, this is a plate we have enjoyed here many times before; and it was again enjoyed. The meat, sat on a bed of crispy fried shredded lettuce, was all neatly sliced, rather than shredded so you can’t see what you are eating. The strips of spring onion, carrot, and cucumber were in neat stacks. The black bean sauce was dressed with a few sesame seeds. A small salad of finely shredded spring cabbage and carrot on a lettuce leaf, with a slice of fresh orange and a carved carrot finished off what was a beautifully presented plate, that tasted superb. The only issue was that there was no way we could wrap all the food into the six pancakes provided. We had to ask for another 6 and used 4 of them, and paid an extra £1. I urge the management to reconsider the quantity of pancakes, the extra charge was a bit cheeky I think: the duck was already £16.95. For our mains we chose three plates: ‘Battered Chicken’ in a sweet and sour sauce, ‘Beef stir fried with Ginger’, and ‘Prawn Chow Mein’. The chicken was my Partner’s choice, and I had a substantial sample, and in exchange my Partner had some of the beef which was my choice. Sadly there was one piece of beef that was partly gristle and my Partner had selected that very piece, but I encouraged her to take some more in replacement. These two plates (gristle aside) were really good and contrasting in flavour; the chicken was very sweet and sticky and served with red peppers and onions, whereas the beef was savoury with definite ginger undertones and had more vegetables including red peppers, onions, and spring onions. The Chow Mein was shared by the two of us, but the quantity of prawns (5) was, we felt, a bit mean. The Chow Mein noodles were (apart from the highly-sugared chicken) were our main carb element. The meal was very good but with a couple more prawns here and a some extra pancakes there, and the absence of a gristly bit of beef, it would have been excellent. Fine lines indeed, but fair criticism I feel.

Always delicious, the food in my opinion is the best Thai food in Bristol. Have tried most of the menu and every dish has been a ‘WOW’ totally delightful.

The staff are very friendly but we were disappointed by the food. Is this really the best Thai in Bristol? I don't think the starters are freshly made..the chicken satay wasn't fresh chicken and the sauce was bland. The rest of the meal was fine but uninspiring and over sweet. I feel bad leaving a negative review but went to this restaurant because of all the great reviews and felt let down as I adore a good Thai meal so was looking forward to it.
