We had a fabulous lunch cooked by a friendly, hardworking couple in this tiny place in Bowness. The menu is short - udon soup, Japanese curry, and Healthy Rice Bowls, all available as meat, fish and veggie options. We had Japanese tofu curry snd salmon teriyaki healthy bowl, both light snd delicious, and including kimchi and pickled Japanese radishes. They also have 'fun marble' Japanese soft drinks in glass bottles with marble stoppers, and tea, coffee and cakes. A great stop for a light lunch and completely different from the norm round here. A couple of outdoor tables as well as a handful inside.

We had the most delicious meals here that we have had on our whole visit to the Lake District. The food was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. They even made plain chicken and rice for a fussy 9 year old. Thank you so much.

What a change from the norm of panini, rolls, sandwiches, we came across this place by accident, but it was a good call, even our daughter who’s 12, she can be fussy, but she really enjoyed her BBQ pork belly rice bowl, the service was great and you can even by Japanese authentic fizzy drinks which our girls enjoyed, one of them was Melon, the other Strawberry, they serve really nice coffees too, would recommend, great tasting food and service.

We first visited this cafe a year ago on holiday to Bowness; we decided to try it based on all the great reviews. A year later I had a day trip back up to Bowness, and had to stop off at Graze again as I enjoyed it so much the previous visit. This time I was dining alone for lunch with my 6 week old baby and the owner was so lovely and accommodating; helping make space for the pram and even offering to turn the music down a little as she was sleeping (the music wasn't loud, so this wasn't needed... in fact I really liked the music and should have asked what was playing!). As a new mum, little gestures to help make a big difference, and enabled me to enjoy my first trip out solo with my baby where it could have potential been stressful. Anyway; the food was once again perfection. I couldn't decide what to get and opted for the sweet BBQ pork belly rice bowl on the staff's recommendation, and it was delicious! I loved the Japanese bottled drink also- a real treat. The food looks amazing and tastes so fresh and authentic. It's filling without making you feel too full; perfect for lunch. I didn't have time to sample the cakes, but there was a great variety and they all sounded yum. I'll definitely be returning again soon- thank you!

stayed in the lakes for a week and had the best food of my entire stay here! most delicious food with amazing views. Amazing food, owners and staff. Everything was really gorgeous, I had sushi with my girlfriend and it was exactly like in Japan, so we had to order one more portion. Then we tried Graze chicken with periperi fries and we didnt leave anything on our plate. Hidden in a nook, Graze is probably the best food and customer service we have experienced in a long time. Being local there are not many places where you can escape the ‘Home in every one else’s holiday’ feeling but this place just makes you feel so at home. Not even through the door we were greeted and asked if we had any questions about the menus which instantly put us at ease, so we sat inside the cosiest restaurant/cafe I’ve ever seen to debate the menus some more. It started off very well with probably the best hot chocolate and latte’s we’ve ever had. Being a small friendly team making fresh food to order a bit of a wait can be expected for the food however with the atmosphere and being kept up to date with foods progress and the actual quality when it arrives is very much so worth the wait. The value for money was also fantastic given the quality of food and the amount you are given! I can’t express how friendly the team were, including the chefs, each of them making contact within our visit but not making us feel to overwhelmed. Big 10/10 looking forward to our next visit!
