Had lunch at the end of October. Absolutely fantastic. Lovely food, great atmosphere with really friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Just had a lovely meal in Havana Bank Sq. Often its hard to get good quality vegan options but the Korean Cauliflower Wings and the Seitan Burger were delicious. Will definitely be back.

Stopped here for lunch, had the chicken burger , flavours were amazing. Service excellent and place nicely decorated and clean. Re covid, staff wearing masks.

My husband and I and our 2 children had an amazing experience at Havana Square..The staff where so friendly.. ordered our food from Leah (The New Owner) and asked if we could have our daughters food out as soon as possible.. She has both physical and severe learning disabilities and we knew she was hungry and would be impatient and become upset if she had to wait on her food. She totally understood our situation and had her food prepared quickly...She was absolutely amazing.. The Sunday Lunch we got was absolutely beautiful and very reasonable.. We highly recommend and will definitely be back again

Had lunch there yesterday the food was lovely ( and large portions) my friend had the pork dish and i had chicken burger really good food no room for dessert. But what made it was the excellent service our server was French ( forgot her name) but was really first class and congrats to the restaurant for having such 5 star service would defintely go back

A young French lady was absolutely amazing, and the professionalism of her team was out of this world. This is an amazing Restaurant! The new owners are passionate about good food and quality service! I believe, Havana could, and might be the biggest benchmark for quality service and a front runner for amazing, beautiful quality food in Belfast, well done, you deserve it!!! Just had a random thought to go here for dinner, been before for lunch and it was great. Dinner was amazing, staff were so friendly and bubbly, honestly this place is a gem.

We loved our lunch here! We had the beef burger and chicken burger. Both top notch. The chicken burger wasn’t Buffalo spicy but still delicious. The beef burger was loaded with goodies and was one of the best burgers I’ve had in the UK! Great lunch find, we only happened upon it because the pub down the street doesn’t serve food on Mondays.

Enjoyed a fabulous meal here. The chilli beef starter was amazing as was the beef rib massalam. Excellent food! The service was good & staff very attentive. Nice venue too.

We visited here recently and it is the best meal I have had in a long time. I had seen their updated menu on Facebook and quite liked the look of it. It certainly didn't disappoint. I had Cajun squid to start and my husband salt and chilli beef, both were delicious and good portion size. I followed this with the short rib massaman curry, the flavours were amazing and again a good sized portion. My husband had the monkfish with prawns and noodles which he was most impressed with. Neither of us had room for dessert!Definitely well worth a visit.

The food and drink in Havana is just amazing! I was recently on a weekend away in Belfast and we were blown away by the quality of the food, we all agreed it is some of the best food we’ve ever tasted. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. Overall fantastic experience and I could not recommend this restaurant enough!

We came here with friends and were blown away by the quality of food and pleasant staff. Great atmosphere with a varied choice on the menu. Every one of our dishes was first class and the staff couldn’t have been better. We will be back.

Had the pleasure of eating here on a recent trip to Belfast. The food was absolutely delicious and would return for the desserts alone. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were very friendly and attentive. If your in Belfast do not miss gem of a restaurant.

So happy that this lovely restaurant has managed to weather the COVID restrictions and come out the other side! We had delicious food and excellent service and we love the decor. Have to mention the unusual elderflower cheesecake with basil and black pepper - really wasn’t sure if it was going to be a gimmick but I have to say that it really worked for me, I’m fact I’d say it’s my favourite cheesecake ever!

A really friendly restaurant, with great staff. But, that’s not the full story. The food here is ABSOLUTELY SUPERB. Meaning no disrespect to Belfast, but we couldn’t help but feel the chef should have been working in London, Paris, New York …. We will definitely come again.

We were just walking past and decided to go in for a snack and a glass of wine. My scallops were delicious... beautifully cooked and presented. My friend was delighted with her squid. Our wine was a lively Sangiovese and only cost £4.80 per glass. All finished off with two creme brulées with a tangy rhubarb compote. Service excellent from friendly staff. Will definitely return for dinner. Highly recommended!

Havana was lovely experience. Had a seitan burger which, as a veggie, I had never had before. It was quite a strong flavour but very good. Loved the spicy sauce that came with it. Several of our party had the Korean chicken wings as starter and could happily have eaten more of them for main course. The squid was great as was the chilly beef. Steaks were really well cooked. Our only slight negative was a few things were a bit salty. (Steaks and fries).However service was amazing. Wine was great and prices were really reasonable. Would definitely return. Thanks guys.

I had a friend over from London and brought her to Havana on Friday 27. The food was awesome and the service excellent. We had the squid and the Parfit to start, the haddock and pork belly as mains with the mango cheesecake for dessert. The food was a feast for the eye as well as the stomach. I found the prices very reasonable for the excellent food. I will be back.

I visited this restaurant for my birthday. The owner, Lea knew this. We had just spoken about how the restaurant surprised other customers with cakes as it was there birthday too and she said she will do the same for me if I pick a piece of cake. When the bill arrived I was shocked to find I had been charged for this piece of cake. I mentioned this to the owner that I thought the piece was cake was complimentary as she had asked me to pick one for my birthday. She said no with zero hesitation. I paid the bill and left.I have travelled to over 70 countries in the world and no matter how big or small the restaurant or which country it is in I have never seen any restaurant charge someone for surprising them with a piece of cake on their birthday.To top it off the cake had a strand of hair in it. I didn't say anything because I thought it was complimentary and I didn't want to make a fuss about something that is complimentary. Now I wish I had said something.I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

We visited in 20 August - beautifully presented and tasty food, great Prosecco and excellent service from friendly professional staff. Our host was Jo and she was very attentive and always available. I had the spiced carrot with basil soup and it was amazing. Great venue and we’ll definitely return. Thank you Havana staff!

Visited for dinner and drinks on a Thursday evening in July for the first time - definitely not the last! Extremely relaxed and friendly atmosphere + impressively designed setting (loved the ceiling and artwork). A unique style of restaurant for Belfast. The service was fantastic throughout by both the French owner and brunette female bartender/server. Even when the restaurant began to become quite busy they stayed attentive and calm. The food exceeded far beyond our expectations! It is seriously stunning. Massive compliments to the chef and his team - keep up the amazing work. I highly recommend the scallops, whole lemon sole (the star of the evening) and mango cheesecake. The quality of seafood served is on par with local classics like the Mourne Seafood Bar.Incredible value for money throughout the menu (£5 for dessert) considering the level of food being served + cocktails and wine are reasonably priced for the City centre and extremely tasty. Can’t wait to go back! A true hidden gem that I cannot recommend enough.

Came here several times this month by myself for a wee lunch. I've tried the soup of the day and it was beautiful! My favourite starters is Parfait, with extra sour dough every time. Main wise, I went for a Rump(rare) with champ, onion rings and Peppercorn sauce. The last time I came here, I've went for Steak Sandwich(rare) with skinny fries and peppercorn sauce(always ask for extra sauce). Service is always with a Smile, drink selection is Great too and the location is so handy to town. Keep up the good Work Guys!!

Amazing food, what a treat in the middle of Belfast. This was my first of, and hopefully, many visits to this restaurant. Food and service were top notch. Highly recommend. The flavours were amazing, food was 100% what I love, and the discreet but efficient service was excellent. Well done to all concerned thank you for a great experience.

Service was good. The food I was served was awful terrible. I got served salted chilli squid which was deplorable so I waited for my main which was beer battered haddock (fish and chips). I don’t know about anyone else but I cod that malnourished is normally put back into the ocean again…… so I reordered the pork belly which was apparently delicious. It never came. !MANY BETTER PLACES IN BELFAST TO EAT!! DO NOT EAT HERE.

An absolute must for any foodie lovers. Great decor, exciting menu, reasonably priced(highly recommended the crispy squid starter) and the staff were all so enthusiastic with what the restaurant had to offer. First visit to this absolute gem of a restaurant. Greeted by a very welcoming and courteous Lea who led us directly to our table. Then our waitress promptly offerd us our menus, drinks and wine list. Great choice available. To start we had scallops and crispy chilli squid. Presentation was excellent. Both dishes were absolutley delicious. Main course we all chose the special which was monk fish with prawns, done in a Thai sauce.....to die for!! The waitress (and I so apologise I didn't catch her name) was so informative about our choice. She told us to savour the aroma and taste of our meal. She was totally right. It was simply delicious. The meal was inspired by authentic cooking from the amazing chef Jonathan and his staff, experienced in no other place than Thailand itself. Desserts were also chosen from the menu and again all were totally delicious. All in all this was a wonderful meal. Truly Michelin Star, as I think I'm right in saying, Jonathan has already achieved. I already have my table booked for another date in July and would certainly recommend to all to certainly not pass this restaurant. The management, staff, decor food and wine are all perfectly placed. Highly, highly recommended.

had a lovely meal, staff friendly and helpful. all was going well until i ordered dessert which was on special board, lemon meringue pie with vanilla ice cream, was so looking forward to a good size piece, when the waitress brought out a pie the size of mr kiplings apple tart and a scoop pf ice cream, was so disappointed i said to the waitress are you having a laugh £6.00 terrible value. dont get it.

Came here for a quick bite to eat before work. I didn't book a table,so I was chancing my arm I've received a warm welcome from Dominika and Leah. Menu was simple,but great, it had a bit of everything for everyone. I went for a Parfait as my starter, followed by Steak Sandwich. Both dishes were OUTSTANDING!!! Service was Amazing too! We went here last night for the first time and honestly we had the best time. The service was warm and friendly. I had the scallops to start and then the steak, which was cooked to perfection. The wine and cocktails were fantastic. We will definitely be back.

One of the best lunches I’ve ever had! The soup was amazing and the sandwich was filled properly and more than enough! The waiter was sooo nice and friendly and checked up on everyone to make sure they were ok,but he speaks to you like ur not just a customer and that’s refreshing! The menu is really good there is a lot of choice and it’s cheap even though I’d pay more as the food was amazing!

Took us with no prior booking. Plenty of vegan options, with many able to be modified from veggie to vegan. Curry was delicious, and so was the mushroom/truffle soup. Also had vegan dessert options which were to die for. Waiter was absolutely fabulous, and was able to recommend what options to go for. Made our night!

Went for dinner during the Belfast Restaraunt Week £15 promotion, food was incredible and fast service. Our server Megan was fab, helping out one of our party who had food allergies and also making wonderful "mocktails" for another one. Definitely recommend!

Booked ahead a few days before and was pleasantly surprised as this was our first time here.I had salted chilli chicken to begin and then I had haddock and other half had a burger. I love Havana but not having ventured into town for ages I'd forgotten how much i did live it. I dined with my family on friday there were 5 of us in total. I'm going to do the cons first as there were few: firstly waitresses with long nails and long hair not tied back always annoys me as they still come into contact with your food and waitresses eating on the restaurant floor hands touching their mouths then touching your plate/ food is gross! I witnessed both at Havana on Friday. The restaurant was also very cold.

Visiting any Belfast restaurant in December is a notoriously poor time , due to over priced fixed price menus, and limited choices. Firstly, why it is called Havana i do not know. Perhaps there is something in the style, but not for the influence upon the food - at least not at Xmas. Vegan starter was laughable. Three small batons of carrot some purees, and a piece of salad. Main was a slightly more acceptable but no more inspiring vegan 'wellington' on a bed of mash and some green beans. Desert was rice pudding with granola, which could have been a heated Muller Rice. Underwhelming. The place however looks nice, and would be an enjoyable atmosphere for a coffee or cocktail . .

6 of us visited on Saturday for Xmas lunch. Food very tasty and staff friendly and efficient. Good atmosphere, would definitely return, well done Havana.

Visited the restaurant on Friday night. Restaurant was packed with a great atmosphere, tables busy and some live music - the stinger was brilliant btw! What about the food?? All I can say is that the meal was superb and this has now become my favourite restaurant in Belfast (was my first visit but certainly won’t be my last)! My partner ordered feta cheese tart with walnuts and beetroot which was light and tasty! The salted chilli chicken, I ordered, was also fantastic. Our mains were even better! We both ordered steak which was so juicy and tasty - as good a steak as I’ve had in a long time. My partner wanted pepper sauce which wasn’t on the menu - no problem. The cheese sauce was actually nicer in my opinion.

We were a party of 9 people, off the street, no booking and were welcomed very nicely. Great atmosphere, staff very attentive but not over the top. Menu was lovely with plenty of choice without being pages long. Wine list also very good.

After a long day of travel, Robert and Roisin were the warmest welcome one could get in Belfast. The food was delicious, the venison and duck especially. Every wine suggestion was on point. The feta appetizer is a must. If you're in Belfast, you have to try this gem.

You could walk past this place easily. Great choice on the menu with as good as it gets service. Monkfish scampi well worth a try.

I visited yesterday (Saturday) the restaurant with my parent and a friendly couple. It was really busy, but the staff was friendly and helpful. Stephanie was a ab amazing waitress, serving us always with a smile! The rumour that it has the best burger in town is true :not dry, but juicy soft meat. Also the Irish scalloped and the linguini as starters were foodporn! Deserts were tasteful too. We had a wonderful experience and we definitely will visit it again! Kudos to the exceptional chef! If you want to eat exceptionally in Belfast, don't loomlk elsewere!

This restaurant was busy the day i went but the staff were able to cope easily and the service was excellent. The menu had plenty of choice for everyone. I had the smoked bacon chops and they were excellent and a big portion . I would definitely recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Got misled by the name and the menu on-line. Went for Sunday lunch and were miffed as they do not serve the full menu on Sundays. The place was fairly quiet, the service was good, the menu limited and totally not Cuban. However, we enjoyed the food and a very friendly server, though Pina Colada was far removed from the one they serve in the hotter climes. Overall the experience was pleasant, the servings could have been more generous to provide better value for money.

We originally headed for a seafood restaurant that our hotel recommended but when we walked in at 5:30, they looked at us like we were not welcome and told us we needed reservations and they had no openings until 9:30 pm! We wandered sown the street into Havana and were greeted like we were old friends by Michelle the manager. I immediately loved that they let us select where we wanted to sit! Our waiter, Robert, was quick to greet us and was so welcoming too! He answered all my questions and guided me to selecting the perfect starter, the scallops and the perfect main, the duck. I need to point out that I am probably the world's pickiest eater, but this meal was fabulous and I will probably go back for every night we are in town! It was just that good! Our bartender, Megan, made me the perfect cosmopolitan and she was a delight too! (She looks like she could be Selma Hayek's daughter, what a beautiful girl with a smile and personality to match!). In fact every one of the employees were so delightful, all looked like they enjoyed be there and nothing was too much for them to do. I just love it when I am spending my hard earned money and feel treated this way, it was a wonderful evening! Please don't think twice about having a fantastic meal here, you will not be sorry you did!

Visited Havana and it exceeded my exceptions 10 times over. The food is amazing, the staff are amazing, the quality and price is AMAZING! Michelle at front of house is accommodating and welcoming and Robert is friendly and can't help enough. I honestly haven't got one bad point about this restaurant! As a Vegetarian I felt that I had the same amount of options as everyone else in our party and that was a highlight for me I've very rarely experienced anywhere else. Havana Bank Sq, a MUST if your in Belfast!! I will be back.

First time visiting havanna as a treat from my husband. Really pleased we chose here as its not my normal go to in Belfast. The feta with truffle honey are amazing as a starter. Located on Bank Square, this restaurant has an interesting layout, quirky furnishings, very good food and service. You are welcomed with "My Friends"!! We stopped for lunch during our browse around town before departing Belfast. We had the homemade "seafood chowder" it was very good.

Lovely food. Perroni and morreti on tap. The toilet setup is some pc bs with two seperate rooms. As a bloke ended up going back to Kelly cellars most of the time.

We were booked on a cocktail making experience and it was fantastic. The waiter was fun and friendly, the cocktails were easy to make and delicious too. Ho mangiato gli arancini con funghi e tartufo. Buonissimi! Anche il pesce era freschissimo. Tutto buono e abbondante. Lo staff è molto cortese e il posto è bello e accogliente. Non so perché si chiama così...gli arancini mi sembravano piuttosto italiani.

Came here for dinner, purely by chance. Food was tasty and the menu had a variety of varied yet tempting, dishes. Not the sort of place you'd eat at every day, as it's not cheap, but it wasn't outrageously expensive either. Service was very professional, place was clean, as you'd expect. I would return.

Op 21 mei op aanraden van iemand die in Belfast woont bij restaurant Havana Bank Sq gegeten. Bij binnenkomst al leuk door hartelijke ontvangst bediening. Tijdens het eten verzorgde de bediening ook een leuke sfeer. Als hoofdgerecht namen we lamsvlees. Goed dat wij dit restaurant hadden uitgekozen want het was een grote portie lamsvlees dat heerlijk was bereid. Bij het eten een flesje rode wijn en als dessert namen wij een Irish Coffee. Dit was ook een goede hoeveelheid koffie en whiskey. We hebben heerlijk gegeten bij restaurant Havana Bank Sq. Annelies & Andre, Almere, Nederland

Was here for dinner with family it was a great experience on all counts. Friendly helpful staff, excellent food and very good service .We will be back

My Friends and I visited Havana for dinner and drinks before a concert in the city. The restaurant was cold, the lady serving us seemed to be completely pre occupied by another table in the restaurant and rarely came near us. Myself and a friend both ordered steak, though and full of gristle. I would not return.
