Howard Street in Belfast

I had heard a lot of my friends raving about this place but between Covid and work, never had the chance to go. What a find! My daughter treated to my birthday and we could not have been better accommodated. Broad brush, service and food both amazing. Detail. Oysters! Oysters? Haven't seen them on a menu in years. Meaty, tasty with a zingy dressing, fab! Salted chilli beef for mains. Just the right amount of seasoning and the chips tasted like "real" chips. No.1 daughter had pork belly for mains (demolished) and the beef for starters, so I knew what I was looking forward to. 1 creme brulee for dessert. Perfectly, and I mean perfectly executed. Not just weeked out of the fridge when the order was put in, sugared and gas gunned. No. Not here. Perfect consistency with a wafer thin glaze, which told me it had been done with precision earlier and allowed to 'relax'. Proper French. If you haven't been. Go. definitely up there with the 'big boys' on the Belfast scene.

Another fantastic meal at Howard Street. It’s very hard to fault this place. Great menu and service and the food is fantastic.

I found the menu to be a real challenge, so many things tempted me. In the end I settled for the salt & chilli chicken followed by haddock & chips. My partner had French onion soup followed by a fillet steak. My nephew had pate followed by belly pork and my Mum had chicken supreme. I list our food choices purely to convey how widely we embraced the menu. We all agreed the food was fantastic and whilst I thoroughly enjoyed mine I did look enviously at the other plates around my table.We finished off our evening with a very nice Irish coffee.The bill was far from extortionate, the staff were attentive and friendly. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

I would give it almost 5/5. It is a lovely restaurant with fantastic food and atmosphere. The only minus I would give the restaurant is that with those of with older eyes or slightly long sighted, do make sure you bring your specs so that you can read the menu!

First time back for a few years but we’d always thought fondly of Howard Street and decided that it would be a good place to go for a special meal to celebrate us returning to Belfast after a year and a half. The food, as ever, was fabulous, we shared the salt and chilli beef strips as a starter for the table, I had the confit pork belly as a main, and Reese’s peanut bar dessert - everything was beautifully cooked and served, the service was faultless.

So, lots of positives, the service was very good, good selection of drinks which were a good quality and stylish decor. Sadly, the food just isn't that great. Of the dishes we ordered a couple were good and a couple were below average, they looked good on paper but fell short on both quality and execution for me.

Arrived on time, and we were rushed through the drinks and courses. Know that we had a time limit, but food and wine arrived together, a minute after our aperitifs. Had to ask them to slow down the main course. Deserts were not so good, especially the peanut reiss bar. No one liked this at all. Waitress was lovely but overall our least favourite meal of the weekend,

We couldn’t wait to get back to Howard Street after lockdown. And we weren’t disappointed. Starters of chicken liver parfait and spicey prawn coconut soup were followed by massamum chicken curry and smoked cod with prawn madras and fondant potato.All were delicious and washed down with a very tasty Sauvignon blanc. We finished off with a baked meringue, strawberry and honey and vanilla cream.Excellent meal and excellent service. Thank you all for a great experience.

Lovely ambience, fantastic service and beautiful locally sourced food. Pleasure to dine here and would rate it very highly as a “special meal out” venue

My husband and I visited Hst last Thursday for lunch. My son presented me with a voucher as a birthday gift (he knows that Hst is my favourite restaurant)The staff are very friendly and welcoming and know a thing or two about the food, wines, cocktails, beer etc.I had the French onion soup which was full of flavour absolutely delicious followed by the Massaman curry which was to die for.My husband chose the seafood chowder and pork belly which he thought was excellent. I also loved the music that was playing very eclectic.Can't wait to go back. Well done everyone at Hst street especially the sole proprietor!

We went out for my sons 28th birthday ( God I feel so old).It was our first ( and probably last night out for ages). I think the waitress we had was called Colleen, anyhoo service was excellent. I am not going to go into individual dishes but I had the daube of beef. Absolutely fantastic, melted in the mouth and dessert was Banoffee and salted caramel ice cream. Long story short. We had a great family night out. I can't fault anything and would highly recommend this restaurant. If you are wondering where to eat, come here, you won't be disappointed.

Me alojé en Belfast con mi esposa por dos noches. . . Fuimos aquí la primera noche y tuvimos que volver a reservar para la siguiente. Restaurante increíble, comida hermosa, personal muy servicial y el ambiente era justo lo que necesitábamos. Volveremos la próxima vez que nos quedemos en Belfast. .

Estuvimos de vacaciones en el norte durante la última semana y hemos comido muy bien, pero nuestra comida aquí superó todo hasta la fecha. GUAU. El servicio, el ambiente y la atención al detalle fue fantástico, sentimos que el personal realmente quería trabajar aquí, evidente por las caras sonrientes y las bromas con los huéspedes. Un elogio especial al equipo en las cocinas. Vale la pena la visita por las vieiras y el entrante de bola de masa de cerdo solo, divino. . . . . . Este establecimiento debe ocupar un lugar destacado en su lista, si visita Belfast, no debe perderse.

Hoy visité Howard Street para almorzar con mi esposo por su cumpleaños. ¡Optó por el pescado y las patatas fritas, que eran pura perfección! Pescado dorado crujiente, patatas fritas en trozos y guisantes con salsa tártara. Cuando llegó, casi sentí envidia por la comida, sin embargo, mi propia comida fue igualmente atractiva. El equipo del frente de la casa fue brillante. Muy acogedor y atento en todo momento.Lo más importante es que la comida era increíble. Todos los ingredientes frescos, bien combinados y perfectamente cocinados.Todo el personal usa protectores faciales y se usa menú desechable para que no haya contaminación cruzada entre los invitados, lo que nos hizo sentir mucho más seguros en comparación con otros lugares que hemos visitado.Gracias a todos los que hicieron de nuestra noche lo que fue.

Comimos a la hora del almuerzo con amigos y tuvimos una comida deliciosa. La oferta especial de 2 platos para 20 o 3 para 25 era decente, sin embargo, un poco limitante ya que solo 2 opciones de la red y 2 de los principiantes eran elegibles para la oferta. El entrante de cabras estaba muy bien presentado y tenía muchos elementos sabrosos. Los platos principales de curry eran más como un estofado que un curry y nada fuerte, pero disfruté cada bocado. Sentí que el servicio de la persona que nos acomodó y aceptó nuestro pago fue un poco brusco y frío, pero el resto del personal fue eficiente y encantador.

Desafortunadamente, esta fue la mayor decepción, dos filetes que ciertamente estaban muy lejos de un corte de primera, ambos cocinados casi idénticos a pesar de que uno se ordenó como raro y el otro medio raro. Los lados que acompañaban al bistec eran unas patatas fritas con trozos muy secos y mediocres, todo el plato carecía de carácter y no era lo que esperarías de los precios de un restaurante.

Almorcé aquí ayer y la comida se sintió un poco escasa. El servicio fue extremadamente apresurado, sirvió tres platos en menos de 60 minutos, por lo que no hubo tiempo para relajarse y disfrutar de la comida. El bistec estaba frío cuando salió y toda la comida se sintió un poco sosa y como si le faltara un poco de sabor. El postre fue en realidad lo más destacado de la comida y estaba delicioso. Estaba emocionado de comer aquí, pero esta es la peor comida que hemos comido en Belfast. Muy decepcionante.

Aprovechamos salir a comer para ayudar.Temparture está en el camino de entrada y bien diseñado para el distanciamiento social.Personal con viseras, etc.Nos sentamos rápidamente y el personal fue muy amable y atento.Nos decidimos por el menú antes del teatro, que tenía una buena y variada selección. Loved this place. Great atmosphere and warm welcome. Food was really excellent with a brilliant menu. Staff were attentive, friendly and polite. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Firstly, I understand the need for information gathering by booking staff at this time. It's necessary.We arrived early and were served our ordered drinks, (you cant drink in City centre unless eating , , , yet) so once we were settled we had choice of "a la carte" "pre-theatre" or "specials" With a mixture we ate well, though my first steak in several months, (promised tender) was tough and gristley on the edges, the centre being ok. I recommend the cheeseboard, plenty there for two, oh and I had Seafood Chowder for starter, always a winner. The Pork Belly is excellent and the wine menu is good for the price. 4/5

The fact that this was number 38 in Belfast at the time is rubbish . This was one of the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had . Service was excellent from start to finish . Each course of our meal was outstanding with the detail and care of the food presented evident on every inch of the plate . I can not fault a single thing about any aspect of our meal and must give massive praise to the team at this restaurant.

Every aspect of this restaurant was just fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the cocktails were top class. We will definitely return to Howard Street next time we are in Belfast.

Beautiful food and excellent service. Lovely atmosphere and a good choice on the menu. Would highly recommend it.

Great place for good food wines. Really enjoyed the scallops and the Crispy Salt & Chilli Beef was very well received. The mains, Marinated Monkfish & Tiger Prawn Curry has an excellent balance of spice and flavours. Superb ribeye steak. Cocktails deserve a shoutout too. And to round it off friendly staff, interested in the customer enjoying their food and drink.

Restaurants in Belfast can be a mixed bag, Michelin recommended often disappointing; and a plethora of ‘fine-dining’ venues that miss the gourmet goal by a country-mile and yet, charge exorbitantly, in many cases, more than an award winning restaurant.....Howard Street is up there with Belfast’s best and yet, reasonably priced too. Real care is taken here with the menu and the food is delicious. The wine is great too and I would parallel the dining experience here with that offered by Deanes Meat-Locker, a nearby neighbour.The decor and cleanliness of this restaurant is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Dress code would be casual (smart). A very relaxing and stylish evening is to be had here.

Visited this restaurant at the end of July with my mum early Friday evening. We wanted to try Howard St for ages and thought we were going to enjoy it a lot more than we did. It was my first meal out since lockdown so I was relieved the system for COVID at Howard St is brilliant, hand sanitiser at the door and tables have been removed for distance. The restaurant looks great inside, industrial and trendy but inviting. Although we didn't find the male with glasses who greeted us to be friendly at all. We both had the seafood chowder and the chicken supreme from the pre-theatre menu. Both dishes were mediocre. Just extremely average. The chicken was boring and the fish in the seafood didn't taste very fresh (try the Mourne seafood bar for an amazing chowder!) Flavour was flat, both dishes needed more seasoning, herbs and general finesse. Not what I expect from a trained chef cooking with "high quality produce". We had planned to get desert but decided to get the bill as we didn't feel like paying £7.50 more for another overpriced dish. Even at £21.50 each for two courses (plus £26 for a bottle of wine), it was just not value for money because of the lacking cuisine - felt like run of the mill food with a gourmet price. It was extremely hot inside the restaurant, we asked for the air conditioning to be turned on again as it had seemed to switch off. It was switched on right away but then went off again. Really affected having a relaxing experience! Service was fine but could have been more smooth. A couple of staff members could have been friendlier. Would not recommend and would not return unfortunately.

Very happy with our experience in this restaurant. The short a la carte dinner menu offered plenty of quality and interesting options. Both my starter (crispy salted and chilli beef) and main course of naturally smoked haddock in coconut curry sauce were excellent. My wife was a little disappointing with her main, Barbary duck, which she found to be too fatty for her likening. The dinning room was well laid out with plenty of spaces between tables. Service with very good and friendly at the beginning but was a little slow at the end of the evening when we had to wait quite a bit to get our bill. but overall a very enjoyable evening and would strongly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful welcome on the re-opening night. Great atmosphere in this beautiful and spacious restaurant. From start to finish outstanding service and exceptional food: the scallops, the monkfish, the perfect pale smoked haddock and the beautifully cooked duck and desserts of baked meringue and walnut whip. Very good food served with professionalism and friendliness. Thoroughly recommend.

Our first night out since the start of lockdown. It did not disappoint. Firstly when we arrived we were asked to use hand sanitiser which was installed near the door. Some tables have been removed to create more space and we saw staff cleaning down tables and chairs after other customers left. All good from the Covid side of things.The food was excellent as always. We shared duck dumplings, I had seafood curry for my main & the missus had fish and chips. My curry was great. Desert was great, cocktails were great, everything was great.Staff are very friendly, professional & attentive without being overbearing. This was a very enjoyable experience as always and we are very glad Howard Street are back to business & back to their usual high standards.

Had to leave a review we were very impressed with set up in Howard street Tonight, food was amazing presentation 1st class , staff implementing a cleaning regime constantly sanitising as they go felt very at ease with the procedures in place , this was 1st meal out since lockdown was lifted Will definitely be back, as always food was delicious, well done Howard st !!

Had dinner with friends on an overnight in Belfast, the food was delicious and service friendly and professional.

We had a lovely meal here. Had the pre theatre menu which was around 21.50 for 2 courses. Staff were very helpful.

I brought an American group of tourists there last year and they and I loved it. Great ambience, lovely interesting food and really good service.

Amazing Place In Belfast. It’s a must go to when you’re in Northern Ireland. I’m from LA and it’s every bit as good as the top restaurants in the world. Terry is a great server. The best. I’m definitely coming back.

Food was nice, although my vegetarian meal was much more expensive than my friend's meat meal which was shocking.Atmosphere wasn't great, our waitress was sullen and clearly didn't want to be there, nor did she try to hide it! Massive difficulty towards the end trying to get the bill, draining.

Had dinner here with two friends. Very easy to book a table online. Menu very appealing with wide range of choices. A la carte menu very reasonable. However to order potatoes/ salad/ is considered a side order. Apart from that, wonderful staff food and location.

My family had dinner here, on 15 January. We ordered the Special (Chicken, chorizo & mozzarella fritters), but when it came it was full of very strong parmesan cheese, which wasn't as described by the Waiter. When we complained, nothing was done. We were actually told that there was no parmesan (We had imagined it!). 2 plates went back uneaten. My husband and I ate ours. Then my husband threw up, before he got to the car. My biggest disappointment was that I emailed the restaurant, to register my complaint. The Manager called me and discussed the incident and during the call she admitted that the cheese was a mixture, including parmesan. So, we were right, but the Waiter had told us we weren't!! However, she said she would get back to me, with a resolution. I gave the restaurant a chance to make up for this poor service and they haven't. This is why I am posting this review. Btw, our bill was £170. I would expect better service, for this price!

We were a party of 12, we were asked to pre-order because of the large number. When we arrived they were trying to squeeze us onto a table for 10.. pointing out that this wouldn’t work we had to wait while they could reseat us.. about another 20-30 minutes. No drink orders were taken at this point. Upon sorting out he new table they started firing down the starters.. no wine list or drink orders were offered. I pointed out that the goats cheese starter they were giving me was wrong, I’d ordered the goats cheese from the a la carte menu.. I was abruptly told they were both the same and the plate slapped down in front of me anyway! They were not the same.. they should update their online menus more frequently to prevent confusion!! The wine arrived after the starters were finished.. the main course was tasty enough but to be honest by this point in the meal I just wanted to get the whole debacle over with and get out of the place.. horrendous!

First time trying Howard Street, Valentine’s weekend..service upon entry was below average, older gentleman with glasses didn’t seem overly interested as he showed us to our seat. Cocktails were great, food was average. Lots of great restaurants in this area.. Certainly wouldn’t rush back.

My wife and I found ourselves at Howard St restaurant after a waitress at another good restaurant a couple of nights earlier recommended it. We took the view that she must know the local restaurant scene, and we’re really glad we did. Both the food and the service were top notch, and set in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The belly pork and black pudding starter was a stand-out, and the duck with chestnut was really well balanced. It’s definitely a restaurant we’ll make sure to revisit the next time we’re in Belfast.

We booked for lunch, service was quite good overall but I am sorry to say the food was disappointing for the price charged.

When on a long weekend in Jnauary we visited this restaurant, and the food is wonderful. Very tasty, lots of textures, and bags of flavours. My partner had an asisan prawn soup for a starter and just kept saying "wow" between spponfuls. The service is also very good, and you are well looked after. I broke my golden rule and we went back to this restaurant 2 days later ... in such a short space of time I go for my second choice and past experience has shown me i am usually disappointed, but not here. The second visit was as good as the first.

We ate here last night for the first time, with friends who have been numerous times and never disappointed, we weren’t either!

Arrived here for dinner, food was amazing. Great selection of vegan food. Staff were excellent, great service and very helpful. Most definitely be coming back.

Estábamos en turismo en Belfast y entre una visita al ayuntamiento y una reserva de teatro, encontramos este acogedor lugar justo en medio de ambos. Parece elegante a primera vista, pero finalmente después de echar un vistazo al menú, finalmente decidimos probar este auténtico restaurante irlandés.

El restaurante principal es espacioso, pero tienen un área en la parte delantera con una docena de asientos que describiría como un acogedor bar de los años 50. Si le ofrecen una de estas mesas, retírese. Hay mucho mejor dentro de un tiro de piedra. Estábamos sentados debajo de extintores más parecidos a una hamburguesería barata. Si bien el plato principal era muy bueno, no era imaginativo y se debe evitar el primer curso. Tuve un plato de carne bastante gris. Definitivamente no vale la pena el dinero en enero. Fue tan malo que me salté los postres y el café a favor de que un estadounidense fuera de una cafetería cercana. Mi consejo es mejorar el lugar y conseguir a alguien que ama la comida y tiene talento para presentar la comida. Reservamos una sesión temprana a las 5. 30 pm antes de un espectáculo y disfrutamos del menú de madrugadores. La comida era fabulosa, el tamaño de la porción perfecta y todo a un precio muy razonable. El personal fue muy atento y profesional, por lo que fue una experiencia muy agradable.

Food was beautifully served and tasted superb. Portion sizes were perfect and the menu had great variety with vegitatian and vegan options. Our server was very professional, helpful and friendly. Very reasonably priced and lovely ambiance.

My first visit to Howard Street was for an office Christmas lunch. I thought it seemed a little pricey but worth every penny. The chowder starter was delicious, turkey main course absolutely delicious and the mulled berry and apple crumble was to die for. Presentation of all courses was superb. Staff engaging and pleasant even though the restaurant was extremely busy. First time but will definitely not be the last.

We came for evening meal in December had the Christmas dinner menu. Really enjoyed our meal good choice and excellent service. The restaurant was very busy great atmosphere would definitely recommend.

Couldn’t fault the food at all, chowder was excellent. The service matched and I felt we were attended to just the right amount. A little expensive but you get what you pay for in this instance. Will definitely recommend!

I'm such a huge fan of Howard Street and have been so many times due to the fact that the food is consistently good and always a really lovely welcome. Can't fault the service at all....albeit I miss the previous restaurant manager/host ....but the staff were amazing! I had the salted chilli beef for starter which was lovely, Rib-eye for main a different story! It was so fatty that I ate around the edges and just got bored trying to plough through the middle of purely fat! Genuinely don't like leaving an average review of my favourite restaurant in Belfast, but just thought you should know!

Family meal and enjoyed the starters and mains. Very tasty and well presented. A great place for a meal

First time in Howard Street and had been attracted by reviews and menu. Place had a lovely busy, friendly vibe about it. We went for scallops and the seafood chowder for starters. Both were excellent. For mains we went for what may seem ordinary dishes, fish n chips and chicken curry!!! However they were both exceptional and anything but ordinary. I can’t wait to get back and highly recommend.

This perhaps looks quite an unassuming place from the outside but step inside! It’s bigger than you’d think as it goes round the corner at the back, but it still keeps a cosy vibe. The atmosphere is relaxed, with loud chatter from all the diners there to enjoy the food, and the food is indeed fantastic. Service was also brilliant - attentive and with a smile.

Excellent experience can't say how great it was, recommended for any one. Just super restaurant. Fabulous

After an unforgettable experience at Ora (see my other review), we had no choice but to have dinner at Howard. Both restaurants share the same kitchen and Marty, the same talented Chef! However, in this case, the concept is not the same.

4 of us went to Howard Street expecting a nice meal. From the outset I went from 10 to zero. We were put into an alcove which was set apart from the restaurant. The waitress was very attentive throughout the evening but the food was hugely disappointing. We chose of the pre theatre menu. Three of us had starters which were underwhelming. Three of us had duck and one had masaman curry for mains. There was three small pieces of duck on each plate accompanied by vegetables. My friend enjoyed the curry. We had four gin and tonic's two bottles of wine and the bill was £206. Considering the pre theatre menu was 2 courses £21 and 3 courses £27.50 I really felt the bill was way over priced.

I spend five days in Belfast with my mum and she suggest me to try this restaurant, what an amazing place! You have absolutely to book if you want the table near the window, it’s the best one, and the atmosphere will be magic.

We booked this restaurant for our Anniversary dinner & were really looking forward to it but it did not live up to expectations.The atmosphere was a bit down even though it was quite busy for a Monday night. The Menu looked great but did not compare with the food presented. My wife went for the coconut prawn soup which had lots of onions & celery but few prawns,I went for the Monkfish fritters which had little Monkfish & appeared to be burnt or overdone.We considering paying up & leaving after that but decided to wait for our mains to see if it improved. They were better than the starters & helped improve our experience but not enough that I would recommend this place.A bit overpriced for what you are served & we have had better meals in Belfast as there are lots of good restaurants in the City.

My boyfriend and I came here for his 30th birthday dinner. I have to say, the service was impeccable and the dinner was exceptional.

I was really looking forward to eating here as I had heard good things. Unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience, made awkward especially by the inattention of the staff. I came here with a large group of colleagues and several of us ordered steaks. I ordered mine medium rare, which most of us did. The server then kept shouting “medium well, medium well” and no one responded. She then said “this is the last steak” and I said “I ordered mine medium rare” and she said “medium well?” I corrected, “no, medium rare”. She said she would check with the chef. Less than a minute later she came back and said “yes this is yours”. I cut into the steak and it was completely well done. No red and a hint of pink. The person beside me ordered the same steak medium rare and it was completely red, so it wasn’t an issue of not being able to cook it right. The server knew they had gotten my order wrong and yet gave me the meal in a way that felt like I couldn’t refuse. It felt so disingenuous.

We were lucky to get right in. You may be better off with reservations. Pork special was just so so. I would try something different next time

We turned up on a Friday night without a booking, after a wee wait we were seated.

Very impressive restaurant in centre of Belfast. Beautifully cooked food. Well worth a visit. The only problem is that parking isn’t always easy in the vicinity.

Large party of work colleagues. Service was good and food great quality and I would recommend.it had chicken and it was delicious.

Our Wedding Anniversary. Our many children has clubbed together to send us our for that night. Great choice guys. Brilliant venue, great staff, wonderful food . We’ll be back!!!

Weekend visit to Belfast, Howard street restaurant, unassuming frontage, very prompt warm greeting in a busy restaurant. Nice airy cool feel, lively and fun. All the staff we encountered were an absolute credit to the restaurant, The food was magnificent, Crispy beef starter was sublime, melt in your mouth beef, judging by the portions coming out the kitchen it’s a popular dish. I had the seafood curry as a main , can’t ever remember having a better curry, beautiful. Best meal I have had in a long long time. Well done all

Des saveurs accordées et fines, des cuissons maîtrisées, de l'originalité et des classiques, de la présentation et un service parfait avec une serveuse qui connait son métier et qui est avenante! Le tout pour un prix très correct. Enfin le bonheur dans l'assiette! Foncez mais réservez avant!

Had dinner in Howard Street tonight with a friend. Food was superb as was the service. Good value for food and wine. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Me and my wife checked that restaurant last week as we always looking for new places to eat .I had scallops and they were cooked well not very impressed about service.

We have been to Howard St three times, & have had a fantastic experience every time. The food and drinks are amazing, but it’s really the staff that make it - every time we have been all of the staff members have been fantastic & have treated us so well - going out of their way to accommodate us. Can’t recommend Howard St enough.

As per the title. Tapas good we had a selection of small plates ribs and steaks to share food good except the peppers, they tasted like they had been rolled in sand.

Really lovely food. I have rarely tasted better. Every dish was tasty and nice and hot. Loved the French onion soup and pork belly. Would definitely go back.

Lovely varied menu, with many vegetarian options, The food was delicious, the cocktails were fab; and with friendly staff, and a good atmosphere we had a great night.

Mains arrived cold. Waitress very off hand when we told her and food was replaced with a boiling I mean boiling food chicken was now reheated and was tough and dry, a salad which came in a jar on the plate could not be eaten as it was cooked from the heat on the plate. Staff need retraining and should not try to teach customers a lesson. I paid in full and as I was leaving the manageress said I was hard to please which really was funny!!!! The starters were really nice.

Our concierge told us we had booked a spot they really didn't. the staff went out of their way to accommodate us! We sat near the kitchen, chatted with the owner and the staff. Service was 5 star! Food was great! Highly recommended!

Nicely placed near the Grand Opera House, we were lucky to pick up the last table for some pre show food.

This restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, amazing food and super staff. From the moment we arrived we were made feel so welcome . The food was truly superb, the flavours were remarkable.

Oodles of atmosphere in this busy buzzy eatery. Food all good but was made it was the cheery service - mistakes were rectified with great aplomb and humour. Do good we tried to revisit the same week but were too late.

Short and sweet - myself and my partner had an excellent meal here a few weeks ago. Reasonably priced, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

A small cozy place. The food selection was eclectic for sure. Standard fare mixed with Asian offerings. We had Asian appetizers which were good. We all ate steaks and they were good. The service was good as was the food. Close to town center. No draft beers available only bottled and wines selections were mediocre $10 wines with screw top bottles at $30 plus price points. That however seems to be standard most everywhere in Ireland.

Went here for the first time on Saturday night based on a recommendation. We've tried before to get reservations but it can be hard to get a table. Our meal was fabulous and the desserts were amazing. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was great. I would highly recommend and we'll back in the future.

Had dinner here 29th June. Fantastic variety of food. The pork was to die for, monkfish in squid ink also fantastic and the goat curry . We had several other dishes, including chicken skewers , tacos, parmesan chips. Lovely wine. Definitely a wonderful food experience.

Popped in here for a quick bite before a show. Food was good and nice and hot. Fish and chips excellent but curry a little bland. Staff very attentive and good buzz.

Very nice restaurant----very very good service topped off by scrummy food -----------------and no complaints at all except for the noise-----not the place for couples-----really busy--because its good but my ----the noise----------sorry but its for groups of people

Really enjoyed this restaurant, it's very popular with locals and tourists so the wait staff were run off their feet but they all handled it very well. We had to wait a bit for our table so we were seated at the bar, which was very enjoyable because we got to chat with the very charming bartender. The food was delicious and they had a good selection of beer and wine. I would definitely go back there if we are ever in Belfast again.
