An absolute nightmare displaying lack of organisation and queuing amidst dining tables, staff squeezing thru queue with pots of tea and trays of drinks - accident waiting to happen - shame as food quite good!!

If I'm ever in Limavady with my Daughter we always going for some yummy 😋 food and the staff are so awesome and friendly the food service is 5* just love the lunch carvey and I've got to finish off with a sweet pudding knotty but nice so keep up the good work

Hadn't been here for years so called in for few pints and bite to eat. Food better than I expected. Great decor and service very good with few minor blips. Staff all very young. Would definitely return!

We came with high hopes, but ended disappointed. I ordered a "vegetarian tofu burger" in a brioche bun, but was served a "mashed potato burger" in a brioche bun. Mashed potato burgers were not even on the menu. The beef burger was generous and all side dishes tasty: chips, onion rings and coleslaw. If they didn't have tofu, they should have let me know.

Had a Carvey at this venue as part of a bus trip on 4th July and have to say it was one of the nicest I have had in a long time with plenty of selection of potatoes and vegetables. Everything cooked to perfection and staff all polite and helpful. Well done.

Very nice carvery at reasonable price. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Service and atmosphere was excellent. Only one criticism is that the food could have been a little bit warmer but so tasty. Thank you.

Fantastic service from start to finish! 4 of us ate and no one was disappointed My wife and i are vegan and they had a few selections on the menu which was class. When we told the waiting staff about our dietary needs they couldn't do enough for us and liaised with the chef to accommodate us further. Can't thank them enough. Food was first class and can't wait to go back and try other options. Only downside was I have no pictures of the food, as i ate it too quickly lol. Cannot recommend enough

I have given this place a 4* because it was very good at the start and they had a manager that was worth his weight in gold he was very good with the costumers and staff but he sadly moved on to better things and the place was never the same. The food was good and you got value for your money but it was the same thing ever day and it got a bit boring and I think that they have closed it down now and are planning something new the owners deserve a lot of credit for the beautiful way that they have layed it out and the out side of the building is a 10* if not more it is how a pub should look people come for miles guest to see it . Fair play to the McLaughlin brothers for their test.

Visited again this weekend with family all of whom had different tastes and requirements. everyone come away well satisfied, whether they had the carvery, or just starter and dessert.

Called in here a few weeks ago after a day out at Benone Beach. We came upon this place unexpectedly after trying to get into a few packed out restaurants in the area we were in. We couldn't locate an online menu before we arrived but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the place itself is very nicely decorated. The menu was excellent, plenty of choice for me despite being both gluten free and lactose free, I was able to have a meal from the menu without any changes being made to the listed meal, which is a first for me. Also very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back if we're in the area again.

Great food and atmosphere, great for kids as well

Will Never be back here staying in Radisson we decided to call into the bar for a bite to eat and music. Reason why I’m writing here is because bar hasn’t replied to me following several attempts to contact manager.

Was with my family for a meal and got very good service out of the young Keith and Ethan who were very helpful all night at providing drink and food, amazin customer service 👍🏻!!!

Although the menu doesn't stray far from the standards, the execution is perfection. Came with a large party including children and a vegan. The chef was able to accommodate the vegan on the fly, the children had lots to choose from and all the other various dishes we ordered were immaculately presented, perfectly cooked, generously portioned and delicious. The excellent food came with likewise excellent service.

I ate here last Sunday with my husband, my parents in law, and my parents who were visiting from England. I had phoned and booked a table for 5 adults plus a wheelchair and highchair - as it turned out, on the day my mum felt able to walk with her sticks which was just as well because we were put at the table by the bar where a wheelchair couldn't have got to anyway. Sadly, due to the uneven floor, as my mum was walking to the table supported by my dad, her stick slipped and she had quite a bad fall, bumping her head on the bar. While a few people came to help, (one gentleman from the Corner Bar was particularly helpful, helping us lift her and bringing a chair for her to sit on) I had to ask for a cold compress for her head which actually had a rather large bump on it. When we got to the table there was no highchair, and due to needing to be at the end of the table, when I got the highchair I had to place it on the uneven edge between the carpet and hard floor whixh was not ideal for a 6 month old baby who's just learning to eat solids. It took ages for anyone to take our drink order, then when we went to get our food I was surprised and disappointed that the usual excellent choice and quality of food had somewhat diminished... there wasn't the usual excellent choice of vegetables and there is usually cauliflower cheese, there was none on this occasion. There were also no Yorkshire puddings - apparently these were to come later on but by that point I was already behind the rest of my family in getting my dinner. Again, the service was slow - it took ages for anyone to clear the plates from our table and take our dessert order.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at The Market Yard on St Patricks evening. A group of us (family & friends) had been in The Corner Bar celebrating and watching rugby from 12.30 and decided around 8pm to go for a meal in The Market Yard. A friendly and very helpful young female waitress took all our orders. I ordered the wild mushroom stroganoff. When arrived it was apparent that the kitchen had been running low on mushroom as I was struggling to find much in my dish. Instead it had been stuffed full of whatever veg they could find and which hadnt been mentioned on the menu. The dish was returned to me incorrectly twice at which point I said I didnt want it. My father spoke to the restaurant manager whos customer service skills were non existent. He would not accept that any error had been made and instead stated that he had checked the dish and it was fine (it was initially served with tobacco onions on top and they returned it to me with grated carrot on top saying they had run out of tobacco onions at 8.30 on a Saturday night) I wasnt even asked if I would like to order an alternative & wasleft with nothing to eat whilst the rest of the group finished up. The poor standard meal was bad enough but the substandard customer service from a restaurant manager isnt acceptable especially when there was well over £500 spent by our group over the course of the day. To add insult to injury I was then billed for a meal that I didnt eat. Thankfully this was rectified by a very apologetic waitress. There will always be times when it goes a bit wrong in the hospitality industry however if efforts are made to fix it for the customer then that is a job well done. Unfortunately the restaurant manager let his team down on this occasion with a blasé attitude and lack of effort. Im local to the area and have had nice meals in The Market Yard before and do socialise in The Corner Bar but I will never be back there for food again.

Visited yesterday for the first time. Had Sunday carvery and what a treat. 4 choices of meat and a slice of all four if your stomach is big enough to devour them. The Higgins beef was excellent as was the pork which I also tried. Large selection of vegetables etc. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The stick toffee pudding was delicious but portion large and had to leave some. A friend tells me their weekday carvery is also excellent.

Went here last week for lunch following a relaxed morning at the spa. This place never fails....food is always to die for and staff are always friendly and welcoming. I love this wee spot and would highly recommend it! Cant wait to return....only downside of this visit was im off chocolate for lent and had to resist the amazing crunchie surprise ;-(

I always make a point of going to the lunchtime carvery any time i'm in Limavady. The carvery has great range of choices at a very reasonable price.

Lovely meal. Lovely staff. Would recommend this place to eat. Will be back. Meals reasonably priced. My husband had 12 Oz steak medium rare cooked to perfection. I had chicken gougons so many I couldn't finish.

Went here with friends a couple of weeks ago and food was gorgeous. Had the yard style chicken and the portion size was massive for the price. Will definitely be back.

As the title says the place is amazing. The cock and bull was cooked to perfection. I had it on a bed of mash and gravy to the side with chips as well. Wife had the Sea bass for a change from the cod she would order else where and loved it. Met a very pleasant guy with a funny name (sorry can't spell or pronounce it) and The manager from my home town Geard got us sorted with a table and drinks while other man got us our food order and then carried it to the table. Am a very fussy eater but was reasured when heard the head chef takes great pride in all his dishes like he was eating them himself. Not many places have a team like this. We don't like to be over fussed when eating but these guys had timings to a "T". Check backs were spot on and knew how to have the perfect banter at the table. We've eatn here sense and met 2 young ladies Morgan and a small blonde waitress also pleasant who seated us but left us to it and went back to stand at the door. Morgan stood out as she done the orders and the deserts then cleared our table couldn't have done more. Had a few other staff on but were serving other tables that night. Both gents were as friendly when we left to pay as when we came in. Geard made a point to see us out and settle the bill which was a nice touch and the other waiter also called to say farewell. This is what you call service from such a nice warm clean environment. Perfectly decorated and amazing wood work. As an ex joiner force of habit checking these things out. Just wish the leg wasn't so bad or I'd have offered to fix the dome panels which 1 is missing. We spend a lot of time passing while visiting or watching the grand children in Macosquin so don't eat out a lot in Londonderry but Limavday is or usual hunt as the wife doesn't like cooking by time we get home. So it's either a chip shop on the road but we stop when we get time for a proper meal. Glad we found this hidden gem. Guys have a great team and great food. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good feed. You won't leave disappointed.

I have been a regular customer and I have noticed the standards have dropped since the general manager Gerald Casey has left, you don't get the same welcome in it as he gave and the staff do not have much personality.

Had delicious food at a very good price. All of the Staff were very friendly n efficient, Jessica and Keith where very welcoming as well as a lovely girl Shauna as she made sure I was well looked after as I was on my own, would go back nb at all lovely food lovely people......

Had the carvery at the Market Yard today with friends for lunch and it was absolutely exceptional.. we were served quickly and the food was amazing. Our experience made even better by a very attentive waitress called Jess. Can't recommend it highly enough!

5th of november booked a table for 2pm for me and my wife . drove from derry/Londonderry to eat at their Sunday carvery. to start booking through Facebook nd they will get back to you DOESNT WORK. they never did get back to me so called nd booked on phone. got there 30 minutes early and met JESS a young waitress who advised table wasnt ready would i like to eat in the bar. no thankyou i will wait in the bar and if you could let me know when the table is free as i booked it for 2pm. yes she said. so 1.57pm i poped to the Restaurant and asked jess is table ready? OHH I FORGOT ABOUT YOU . GOOD JOB YOU CAME OUT WHEN YOU DID I WAS ABOUT TO GIVE YOUR TABLE AWAY! . but our agreement was you will come get me at the bar i though! .. JESS just sat us down in middle of this small resturant i guess it is . badly laid out . Jess never asked have we been their before or do we know how their carvery works. NOTHING. so me nd wife felt very awkward and the noise was too much and too many people in tgat Restaurant almost seemed like a fire hazard to have so many in the 1 resturant . me nd my wife walked out based in our experience with market yard and drove back to derry and had dinner in premier inn cresentlink . 1st time there . never had the carvery nd will never be back. this resturant should be ashamed of this review as this was a recommendation my wife found on Facebook by the derry journal. giving a reporter a free dinner inorder to get a good review on a newspaper is shamful and deceiving for customers

Had delicious food at a good price. All of the Staff were very friendly n efficient apart from one waitress with dark hair n glasses. Found her bit rude n unfriendly. The rest of the staff were really excellent.

Last night we had an amazing party in the auld house upstairs, food was first class, dj John was amazing all staff were friendly and professional, would recommend this venue to all!!! Thanks for a brilliant night

Visited this lovely restaurant last week with a few friends for lunch. We were warmly welcomed, seated and had our drinks taken within a matter of minutes. The three of us were won over by the award winning carvery the market yard has to offer, and I have to say it was the nicest meal I have had in a long time, meat was beautifully tender and they had a great selection of potatoes and veg! For dessert I had the pavlova which just melted in my mouth, absolutely gorgeous and a very generous portion I got too! I couldn't fault my experience here if I tried, will definitely be back for the delicious food and the friendly service.

Stopped in on passing for dinner. Good selection of food for everyone including all diets, with staff going out their way to. Was seated promptly and drinks taken straight away. Nice bread was brought while waiting nice touch. Stake was cooked perfectly complemented with the chicken. Being a fussy eater must say everything was perfect. Cheapest pints around at only £3 also seen a sign doing a carvery every day. I don't eat desert but must was my wife had the chocolate fudge cake and was perfect not to warm also perfect size noticed the staff do all these by hand. Toilets where clean and bar had sport on every tv with cocktails on the go as well seems like a warm inviting place for a night out. Perfect decor with old meeting new. Warm friendly place with good music food and drink. Service was perfect and manager made a point of meeting every table. Will be back and recommending.

Everything was Absolutely outstanding in The Market Yard from the min you walk in the door to the moment your leaving!The food was out of this world and i dont even know where to start with them desserts all i can say its a must to have a dessert!P,S Management and staff where so helpful and always made sure you had enough and that everything was good!I WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a visit me and my family had here at the weekend, from start to finish we had a spectacular experience. The food was delicious, the staff where very friendly and where always there to ensure you're time here goes as smoothly as possible. The manager also met us as we walked in and he really couldn't do anything more to help our enjoyable night. 5/5, will be back next time we're in the area!

Went in here today for lunch with my friend it was really nice and the waiter was very friendly, then he asked us if we wanted dessert we decided on mrs Eakins pavalova (always get this when I'm in even when the gorteen was open I got it there) was really looking forward to this then out he comes with shop bought meringue nests (prob cost £1 for box of 8) and fruit that was bought frozen, when I mentioned it to the waiter he tried to deny it but didn't even apologise or anything, really poor service advertising one thing for £4.50 and giving you a cheap meringue nest with frozen fruit...won't be back there in a hurry

One of the worst visits to this lovely local restaurant. The food was delicious and tasty. However this was spoiled by the poor attitude and rudeness of one male member of staff in particular. The MY prides itself on its complimentary bread which is lovely. We had only started to eat it when it was pulled from us as the main course had arrived. Some of the chips landed on my husbands lap. When we said to the staff about this and how rude this was he replied that they did not have to give complimentary bread to us. Totally embarrassing as people at the table beside us were watching. Felt like I was begging for bread. This does not sound like its complimentary. The candle on the table was not lit. All other tables were. Not sure why. Poor.The member of staff came back to the table once we started to eat. He was angry and muttered comments. I asked for the manager and was told he was off over the weekend of 19 august. I then asked for managers email and was given a false email address. He then came back and said the manager offered complimentary drinks. He took an order for drinks and disappeared into the main bar. To get these. I did not drink this under the circumstances. I usually tell work colleagues and anyone unfamiliar with the area to call here for good food, served by lovely staff and about the lovely atmosphere. Anyone can eat here if they can put up with bad manners. The restaurant is not busy anymore so you don't have to book as everyone is going out of town to other lovely venues. There is no manager on duty so it's a bit of a shambles. It's a shame as this had been a good place.

This place goes above all expectations and really impressed us. We booked in advance and were seated right on time. Our order was taken promptly and drinks arrived. We were given a complimentary bread board. I think this is an incentive for people to book and people that walk in don't get this nice touch.We ordered the peppered chicken escalope and a market yard style chicken and a few extra sides. This was all excellent. Food was piping hot and really tasty.The staff were super friendly and genuinely happy to serve and would do anything for you. Even the manager made time to talk to everyone and we thought this was a nice touch as we could pick his brains about things to do while in the area. He gave us some good recommendations. The desserts were like a work of art and tasted like heaven. We had a chocolate fudge cake and a cheesecake. The only thing I regret is that I didn't take photos.Can't wait to go back the next time we are in the area.

We had a good selection of meat and veg which was served for us. It was a very hearty meal and good value. It is obviously very popular as the restaurant was very busy. We had not pre booked we were just walk ins.

A fabulous little pub with fantastic food and fab staff Gabriel and Gerry were so friendly and cheerful nothing was too much! The food was lovely and everything was cooked well! The choice of meats and veg were fantastic especially when you have picky eaters! Would recommend this place for the carvery as we had it twice and both times was fantastic definitely made better by the people who work there

Contacted the restaurant a month early to make a reservation for 14 people. Gerad was so accommodating.! The food, atmosphere and drink lived up to our expectations! Everything went seemlessly. Gerad even gave recommendations for travel in the area. He was spot on! Also provided us with a great pub atmosphere and champagne toast! I highly recommend the Market Yard and Corner Bar in Limavady. Gerad was amazing... he went out of his way to ensure a wonderful time for all of us!

This place is the best it exceeded my expectations and I was given only the best experience you could have. I came here with my family and we all enjoyed it. We where seated promptly at comfortable table by the manager and the food followed shortly after. He recommended us to go next door to the bar after we ate the best looking and tasting desserts (we where sad we didn't take pics of them, they where so good. When we went into the bar he ordered the bar man to make sure we where treated like VIPs. It's all the small touches a restaurant does like this that make everything so good. All the staff we encountered where lovely. Will be back again.

I frequently visit the market yard on a regular basis and now have to say that the place has went up in standards since the new manager arrived he has made the restaurant like new and brought the service standards, cleanliness and staff moral up. I never have a problem getting what I want or a table at any time.The food is excellent and always of a high standard.The restaurant is always clean and fresh.I can't wait to my next visit as the staff are all so friendly and promptly look after you and meet your needs without a fuss.

I've written a few reviews for this restaurant in the past and they were all brilliant. But, not this time am afraid.My wife and I have eaten here on numerous occasions in the past and little we're we to know but, it was gonna be a little soggy on this occasion.We arrived for our 7.45pm pre booked table and stood and stood and waited to be seated..but we couldn't see a single member of staff. So we stood on,a little longer.While we waited I glanced around the restaurant and was quick to realise that there was only one table occupied by a family,two or three adults and a couple of children. Anyway, after we had stood for a little bit longer (legs getting weaker) a gentlemen from only occupied table shouted over to me "he shouldn't be much longer, he's gone to get our food". I thought, really, one member of staff on....I further though, really..it's the summer season..should be plenty of people about..this restaurant is usually packed out, and we generally visit here in the colder months. I was very disappointed thus far,but only in the service...thought to myself again, Anthony (restaurant manager) must be off tonight...or even left altogether.After a very long wait (not the norm) a waiter came out carrying food for the family group and saw us waiting, he served the food he was carrying then turned to is and shouted over " be with you in a minute" and promptly shot through the door he had just emerged from. We stood on...am talking 6 or 7 minutes here, in total..no joke. Oh, there he is again,with more food.After dealing with the "family group" to their satisfaction, he makes his way over to Us. Happy days. I didn't have a problem with the way the waiter was doing things..he did nothing wrong, but were where "other members of staff" or was this guy on his own. We said we had a reservation,he checked and we were showed to our table. Asked to have the air con turned down because I could feel the cold breeze, even before we sat down. This request wasn't a problem for him.We were asked if we wanted drinks and I asked for the wine list along with the menus. This is when we both got a shock. What happened the menu? Chopped and sliced. Oh dear. I was after the "mixed grill " in the frying pan.....for days! Chopped.!! Gone..nowhere to be found. I looked over at my wife..and she looked like how I was feeling. The disappointment was hanging out of her too. They had "sliced off" the dish she was after as well.Seems someone in authority has made a boo boo and shortened the menu.....short back,and sides. Hmm, is this why there's no body here? I wondered.At least the pate had survived the "onslaught" on a great menu, so we both ordered this for starters. I then opted for a "fillet steak" for my main and I can't remember what my wife went for.Nice bottle of wine and the food was good. Actually, it was probably the nicest steak I've ever eaten, that I hadn't cooked myself. All the food we ordered was top notch, no complaints there...it just wasn't what we had drove 15 miles to eat. The service was good too....apart from a poor start....far to much standing waiting for my liking..but anyway.Word to the wise...put the full menu back on again...no pork dishes on shortened menu, or mixed grill in a pan...and maybe the people will come back...but the shortened menu won't bring us back...anytime soon. Just had a meal for our large family party and can't say enough about the hospitality and the quality of food at the Market Yard. Our service was prompt and our range of entres from sea bass, steak, pasta, chicken, salmon, and cock and bull were all spot-on. Gerad, the manager, provided royal treatment, going above and beyond, even providing a complimentary champagne when we stayed for a drink or two in the corner pub attached. His recommendations for touring Derry Bogside was valuable too. Shout out to Anne the bartender who provided a friendly pour for our Guinness drafts and others. It's a must-stop when touring the Antrim coast with upscale flavored at an affordable price. We will come back for certain next time we are in No. Ireland.

We went here as a group of twelve kids included. Upon entering the restaurant we were amazed by the unique character and atmosphere inside. It didn't take long to get us seated since the place was not busy at that time. We ordered mixed food from pasta, pizza, to steaks and chips. The kids ordered well done steak but they were served with burned steak. I think this is something that their chef could learn there's a big difference between well done and burned steak. The one who ordered medium well received what was supposed to be a well done type of steak. We had to wait at least 30 minutes for the first batch of food to arrive. that was so long considering how quiet the night was. Their food was not bad but I couldn't say it was great. Their staff were all friendly and the place looks very nice and clean. The toilets were clean and easily accessible. I'd say the overall experience would be average to good. Their waiting staff could improve on their waiting skills. We could have addressed the steak issue if only they asked if that is what we were expecting from our order when they delivered it to our table. Maybe someday when we visit this place again it would be a different and better experience. It definitely has a lot of potential.

The upstairs dining room was busy with customers, so service was a bit slow, but worth the wait! There were lots of TVs, a charming bar, and a buffet dining opportunity in a separate room, if you didn't want the pub atmosphere. The adjoining dining room would be perfect for a family.

This was one of the best pubs we were in the atmosphere was electric ⚡️ the Guinness was excellent as was the cider the music and the staff especially a young man who was working behind the bar

We visited here on Sunday 28th May with my parents who were over from England and my in laws. We had requested a table with mobility access which we were taken straight to despite being a little early for our booking. Drinks orders were taken quickly so it all started fairly well as usual. It took a while for our starter orders to be taken - however, my mother in law asked for garlic mushrooms without batter and this was accommodated for her which was great.As we ate our starters the restaurant became busier and a long queue had formed at the carvery by the time we were ready to go and eat. There was only the usual gentleman (chef) serving at the carvery plus one other young lady who had gone to top up the portions while we were waiting - obviously the veggies and potatoes needed topping up so this wasn't an issue but normally when this happens Anthony or someone else jumps up to serve to help keep the queue moving - because we were so long in the queue, the rest of our table were already mid way through their meals by the time we had returned to the table.Despite the wait at the carvery, the food as always was brilliant - lots of variety, well cooked and a great choice of condiments etc to go with it.We ordered desserts after the main meal and these were quite slow to arrive - but worth the wait as usual - please don't ever take crunchie surprise off the menu!My father in law went to settle the bill as we were finishing up. Having paid the bill he was given, we were then on our way out of the restaurant when he was stopped by a member of staff who said that he had given him the wrong bill, and that he had to pay a further £30 on top of what he had already paid! While I appreciate that mistakes can be made, to be presented with a bill that you have paid and then as you are leaving, being presented with another one on the basis that someone hadn't paid attention to what they were doing put something of a dampener on the lunch - particularly as the first bill was fairly substantial - how is it possible that £30 was missed?Although the food was brilliant as always (though I'm disappointed that the prawn cocktail doesn't come in a jar any more!), I couldn't help but notice that neither Anthony, nor the young lady who appears to be his deputy (Is her name Siobhan??!) were there yesterday, and every other time I have been to the Market Yard, one or other has always been available. In my observations, this made a REAL difference to the service we received - and even my mother in law commented on his absence and said that the "friendly gentleman who runs the place and always looks after your mum" wasn't there and that you could really tell!Despite this, the Market Yard is still my favourite place to eat in Limavady, I would still recommend it to anyone, but I would just prefer to visit when Anthony or his second in command are there as I think they really raise the level of service provided!

Came here on our 28th wedding anniversary and were not let down. Food and service excellent. Will be back.

Took my son and mum here and I can honestly say the food is beautiful served fairly quickly also there's a roast dinner every day to choose from. The grills and burgers and delicious. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere too fully recommended.

Once again good meal and service. The 2 young people serving were very helpful and friendly.Sea bass and salmon dishes are hard to beat.This is a casual informal setting to enjoy a meal with family or friends.Decent wine list and Heverlee on draught is worth a go for beer lovers.The interior is worth a look for visitors to the area. Visited here whilst we stayed at the roe park resort. Had only rang 15 mins before arrival and was told not a problem come on down. We received a complimentary starter of breads and flavoured dips which was a lovely touch. Main courses were abs gorgeous and 3 empty plates and full bellies which is the way I like to leave a restaurant. Service was great too . Definitely recommend this lovely little place we will be back

We were regular, although not frequent, customers. At a recent family gathering arrangements were made in advance, and confirmed the day before the visit, for a particular table and service plan; we were aware that the previous manager had left but didn't expect that to impact our visit. Wrong!! We arrived on the night and all of the previously agreed plans were torn up by the restaurant; staff convenience more important than paying customer satisfaction. I'll not be hurrying back again

Excellent food. We prefer the Market Yard to Granny Annie's. Food is brilliant and staff are friendly and tentative. Would recommend the carvery!

Having looked at trip advisor we decided on the Market Yard for dinner to celebrate our daughters birthday. The interior is unique and charming, once seated the menu options where excellent and very reasonably priced. Our son choose the pizza option - which turned out to be make your own. They brought out all the elements and he created his own masterpiece which was taken back and cooked. Before starters we where provided with a beautiful selection of breads and various butters. Starters came popping hot and so tasty. Main courses where fab, I didn't choose the champ but it was amazing. The kids loved there meals and overall we had such a good meal. Our daughter got an extra special desert to celebrate her birthday which made her night. The service was excellent, the two male waiters on the night where so polite, efficient and also looked so sharp, it really is a great place to go.

Went with three adults and two children on Wednesday night. Good choice of mains and starters. Very generous portions and staff attentive. Very reliable spot for all age groups.

We had a super meal , in the Market Yard . Speedy efficent service , We were served by Elisha and George , both knew the menu and where more than helpful . The food was delicious . Flavor and portions . Highly recommend the Market Yard

Anthony, the manager, greets you at the door, and looks after your every need. food is excellent, atmosphere is good, relaxed. Portion sizes are big, menu reasonable and varied.

Had a brilliant meal today , excellent food and service cannot wait to go back. Staff were excellent and very helpful. If you leave here hungry it's your own fault. Good portions and very tasty , chef did not skimp on portions.

I normally rave about The Market Yard but went for lunch last weekend with my husband, daughter and two grand children ..it was very noticeable that the restaurant manager wasn't there...our food was cold and just tasteless...very disappointing..not as much of a buzz in the restaurant the last twice I was in ...

1st visit here and wasn't disappointed. Hadn't booked but glad we went early as got very busy quickly. Staff are really friendly, service very quick and food was so nice and lots of it. Will definitely eat here next time we are in Limavady.

Treated to a meal by friends here...this is the first time I have been in this restaurant...really a nice place with great food and lovely presentation... the 'Guiness' bread is a must! The service was prompt and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Will be back again

Nice looking restaurant but the price of food and portion is two different story....waiting time for food is unreal....we wait about 45 minutes...and place was empty just couple tables....never back again ...high standard restaurant but they forgot about high service standard

arrived on a busy Friday night but the staff found us a table without much of a wait. the quality and presentation of the food was excellent as was the service. the waitress couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed and were happy with our meal. will definitely be returning.

Went on Sunday for Carvery at Market Yard. Absolutely outstanding. Thanks to Anthony and staff for a brilliant afternoon and all my friends said they would be definitely back as it was their first time there. Thanks again

We had family visiting for an early Christmas celebration and we booked the Market Yard. The place was like walking into a Christmas wonderland, the decorations were fabulous. The place as you can imagine was very busy but we got a lovely big table, the waiting staff were great they looked after our every need. The food was fabulous and Anthony looked after everyone like they were family. Would recommend the Market Yard for any occasion you just can't go wrong.

We were there on New Year's Day for lunch place itself is lovely but not so the food I had buffalo wings which were tough and quite pink inside no really nice sauce.Main course was carvery the meat was really good and portion generous the vegetables were tasteless and of all the places to eat potatoes you would think the roast ones in Ireland would be crisp and fluffy but no they were deep fried and hard inside.Your selection of veg and potatoes were heaped up on top of each other very off putting pepper gravy was greasy and not very nice.Would not recommend or return

Superb service from start to finish. We were in celebrating our recent engagement and Anthony treated us like royalty from the minute we walked through the door right to when we left. Food was amazing!! We absolutely love this place and Anthony is one of the main reasons we keep coming back! Keep up the good work!

We visited the Market yard for family meal, which was very disappointing that meals did not come out together, meals not cooked properly, and poorly trained staff and poor management. All in all I believe that the meal was overpriced and we won't be in a rush to return!

Had a table booked for 5.30 and the staff were friendly and efficient. We both chose just a main course and a glass of wine. The food was lovely, really hot and well presented. The atmosphere was festive and buzzing with laughter and chat. Would recommenf

I took a group of pupils here as an end of term treat. We were welcomed from the minute we came in, even though the restaurant was extremely busy. The carvery was delicious and the service was outstanding. I had organised a cake bought from a local bakery and the manager went out of his way to provide an outstanding service and surprised the pupils with a sparkler on it. As you can imagine, this made them feel really special. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Excellent food and a service second to none. Lovely, informal atmosphere, I'll be back!

We ate here on a recent stay in the area and really enjoyed our night. Menu has a good selection with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. Portion size was good especially the fish which was massive. Overall we really enjoyed our night and would definitely return

What a wonderful place !! My husband and I were passing through Limavady and decided to drop in somewhere for a coffee .We were very unfamiliar with the town and just went into the Market Yard as we had parked nearby .What a find!! We were treated like friends and made to feel so welcome .The place was full of happy diners and the staff were all lovely .My husband opted for the carvery as it was so appetising and he wasn't disappointed.I went for cheesecake and coffee which were delicious The cheesecake was served with ice cream , whipped cream and 2 sauces and nicely presented .Super friendly atmosphere and great food at very reasonable price .Very clean Would highly recommend!!

We have always had the carvery here. Amazing tasty food and generous portions. Sadly have never had room for deserts but one of these days... Service is efficient and helpful

Got chicken escalope with peppered sauce. The chicken was BLAND and tough. Absolutely no taste whatsoever & the sauce was watery,pale with the slightest taste of peppercorn. Easily the worst meal I've ever eaten. When the waitress was lifting our plates she asked if everything was ok. I replied that my meal was terrible. Her reply was 'was it'. Not I'm sorry,what was wrong with it. Maybe she heard it all before & wasn't surprised. Also the restaurant was that cold we kept our coats on for the whole night.Wouldn't eat there if I got the meal free.

Beautiful meal with my husband, lovely traditional Irish food and traditional surroundings well priced and wine was beautiful.
