Food was superb, didn’t wait long, staff were so down to earth and price is reasonable. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

Energetic staff - kudos to Stephen - and creative offerings from burgers to steaks to seafood. Scallops were amazing and we loved the chicken pate. Perfect atmosphere for a little biz with fun on the side.

We absolutely love this place. Visited a few weeks ago and were served by Carla and Ryan. The tomahawk steak to share is out of this world. I loved the haggis Yorkshire pudding also. Fantastic service and best food I've had in a while. We then sat outside and some drinks. Can't wait to go back. Thanks guys!

Me and my boyfriend visited the other day for dinner and we could easily say it’s the best steak we’ve had! Unreal food and the service was amazing too! We were served by Zoe and Sam who couldn’t have been any nicer! So helpful and made us feel so comfortable. The best experience and we will definitely be back!

Amazing starters, amazing steaks, just amazing food, staff who are so helpful under level 3 conditions, I had the Haggis trio to start followed by the Cote de Boeuf, which was outstanding, my girlfriend had the Bruschetta followed by the Glasgow burger which she has raved about, we will most definitely be back and recommending to everyone.

We visited Mini Grill , the little gem of Bath Street, at the end of May. I had been before but wanted to introduce my husband to the fantastic food and we were not disappointed! After such a long period of Glasgow being in Lockdown it was a real treat to have a fabulous steak meal, served by lovely, friendly, accommodating staff, Kieran and Emma in particular. 5 stars is not enough! Thanks, We will definitely be back.

Had my mother in laws 60th birthday meal at Mini Grill. The food was absolutely top notch and the service from Stephen was nothing short of sensational. The mini grill is easily our favourite place to eat and would highly recommend. Can't wait to visit again

We visited mini grill in July 2020 during a brief lifting of the lockdown. Finding the photos in my phone reminded me to leave a review of my favourite place to eat in Glasgow. We ordered 2 steaks and scallops and everything was cooked perfection. As always, the staff were super attentative and knowledgeable. Well done Mini Grill, hopefully we will get back for another visit in 2021.

Zoe, our waitress, was really friendly and knowledgeable about the food- any questions we had, she could answer. The food was lovely and we had a great time. They also brought a slice of birthday cake out for my mum which was lovely! Thanks to Zoe for making our mini grill experience really great! x

Just visited today, we had a roast beef Sunday roast and a fillet steak. Both were delicious! We also had the honey comb meringue dessert which was also amazing. Great service from all waitresses Sam, Pamela and Emma. Will definitely be back!

The food is excellent as is the service ( thanks to Sam, Pam and Emma who were brilliant ). Its the third time I've been in and every meal has been brilliant.

The scallops to start were perfect and without a doubt the best steak I’ve had with top notch service. Couldn’t fault a thing and definitely will be back in the near future.

I would highly recommend this place! The food was unbelievable. I had the haggis for starter and a sirloin for the main and it was amazing! Our server Zoe was lovely! Very polite and friendly. Good service always makes a difference.

Upon arriving we were left standing at the entrance alongside other customers, although staff members were passing nobody approached us and it was only upon myself approaching a passing member of staff that we were acknowledged. Once seated we were left waiting for a good ten minutes without anyone approaching our table again and had not been given any menus or asked for a drinks order. Once I had made a staff member aware of this the service after this was ok.There were some tables drinking alcohol and some were told they couldn’t which I found rather strange.The food was lovely though (we had the Sunday roast).

Hands down the best Glasgow has to offer in terms of culinary experiences. The food is exceptional and I had the most mouth watering steak which was perfectly cooked, my partner hasn't stopped raving about the Haggis Trio. Aside from the food the atmosphere is so welcoming and warm, its a really friendly sincere service and I will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

Very disappointing! Service was very slow, staff standing around on phones. Table being served alcohol while tables being told while seated no alcohol due to restrictions. First time at this restaurant and it’s fair to say I won’t be back. Disgraceful!

Came here with my boyfriend on Sunday night, staff were very attentive and friendly, steak was cooked to perfection! We usually sit upstairs but we’re downstairs tonight and the atmosphere was great.

Haggis Trio is a must. Loved the separate sauces for the individual trio. The fillet steak was perfectly cooked medium/well done and melted in the mouth. The Rosemary potatos were to die for. The Ribeye on the bone was larger than expected and burst with flavour. 100% will be back for another date #seconddates

First time trying this restaurant. From the minute we arrived the staff were kind and helpful, able to recommend food options and reliably on hand to top up drinks. The food was exceptional. The steak were cooked perfectly, starters, deserts and sides were also fantastic. Could not fault anything. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Missed this place, while I've enjoyed getting a steak delivered, nothing compares to the whole experience. Sam, Stu and Ryan looked after us perfectly. They didn't even make me feel awkward for ordering the tomahawk to myself! A really great night, the best steak I've had. And the duck to start! *Chefs Kiss* in the time they've been forced to close, the standards have not slipped. Really enjoyed it and can't wait to get back, maybe for Sunday roast next time!

We visited tonight for my birthday dinner and I have to say it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I had the Cote de boeuf with chips and red wine jus, it was delicious, the steak was so tender. The Pate starter was also amazing. Staff were very friendly and the service was great. Will definitely be visiting again.

Very disappointed with Mini Grills customer service. Ordered a meal for Mothersday and after receiving a reply email confirming Sunday lunch delivery thought everything was in place.Sunday rolled round and two hours after the arranged lunch delivery got a message from my hungry isolating mother saying nothing arrived.Phoned and left messages then eventually got through to be told that the delivery had been cancelled with no communications sent to highlight any problemsMini Grill has poor to non existent customer service

Ordered food for the family to celebrate a 40th birthday. By far the best steaks i have had and the sides/starter dishes were superb. I will defo be eating here again. I stay around 20 miles from mini grill and the food was still warm. Great delivery service.

Ordered the Thursday special for our in-laws they said the food was excellent and loved it. We have visited Mini Grill pre Covid and the food has always been excellent so we weren’t surprised it was to the same high standard. We have a delivery coming on Sunday that we are eagerly anticipating.

Stumbled across this restaurant during lockdown when you had to pre book tables .Friendly welcoming service Food was amazing to taste as was presentation .Loved Mini Grill so much i ordered our Christmas Dinner for pick up Everything was nicely packed and kept warm lovely we Sottish twist on dishes . This was our 1st visit to the Mini Grill and it was superb ! The restaurant is lovely, customers are well spaced apart and the atmosphere is great - lively but relaxing at the same time. The staff were all very friendly and chatty and really added to the experience - they weren’t in your face or overly imposing, just the right levels of engagement. The food was to die for !!! I wanted to try everything on the menu but went for the duck in pastry parcels - OMG delicious !!! The fillet steak was superb - cooked to perfection - and I opted for the sweet potato fries for a change - they too were delightful. We’ll definitely be back as soon as we can and hopefully the ridiculous alcohol ban will be lifted too.

The staff were polite and friendly. Honestly one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. The rest of the meal was awesome as well. We’ll definitely be back and would 100% recommend it.

Since the first lockdown we've ordered steak dinners from Mini Grill many times, especially for our numerous special occasions that were continuously cancelled throughout the year. The food each and every time has been superb. I alway order the fillet steak, medium to rare, which arrives absolutely perfect (even after a minimum of 15 minute drive away) with the roquefort sauce and sea salt chips. The portions are massive and I think each time I'll never eat it all, but it's just too juicy and delicious so I do. We've ordered the desserts a few times too. The honeycomb meringue is the best I've ever had. We order for home delivery which always arrives within our requested time, well wrapped and still warm. I've recommended Mini Grill to numerous family, friends and colleagues as I don't think you'll find a better restaurant takeaway in Glasgow. Also for the fact that we have been trying to eat meat-free during the week for the last year, these steaks are well worth the temptation and treat, the flavours are sublime, the steaks melt in your mouth and who wouldn't want someone to cook your meal perfectly then deliver it to your door.

Fantastic service, excellent food, first time driving up for pick up due to covid19 restrictions. Food was wrapped and hot, everything was ready on the dot and the quality of the steaks, sides, starters and sauces were to an exceptionally high standard. Cant wait to get another order in.

The waiter was great and so was the decor, and price. The chicken parfait starter was excellent and so was the Fillet Steak. Would definitely come here again.

My favourite restaurant in Glasgow! (It is rated #5 of 2387 in Glasgow)I’ve eaten in over 40 restaurants, cafes, bars but none have come close to the Mini Grill.A lovely contemporary dining venue. The welcome from the lovely waiting staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was romantic & very relaxed, we weren’t in our Sunday best but weren’t made to feel awkward despite other diners being smartly dressed. (Though I think we’ll dress up next time) The food was simply stunning & presented beautifully. We had the haggis trio & shredded duck breast in crispy wanton for starters, both were melt in the mouth delicious. For mains, we had the hanger steak & Glasgow burger with a side of black pudding(Stornaway- easily the best ever black pudding) filled Yorkshire pudding, all were absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious. Truth be told, I could’ve just eaten the 2 starters & a plate of the black pudding filled Yorkshires. And finally for dessert, we both had honeycomb puff candy, meringue, caramel, ice cream. I’m not a big fan of meringue but this dessert was sooo delicious. I had Harris gin afterwards which was also fantastic. We both agreed this was easily the best dining experience we’ve had and will visit every time we return to Glasgow in the future. NB It can be easy to miss this place on Bath St, so first photo is a map showing it’s location. It’s only a short walk from Charing Cross station & not too far from the famous Bon Accord with probably the most expensive whisky’s in the UK(£3k/nip was the cheap one!!!)

This was my second visit (October 2020) to Mini Grill while in Glasgow with work. The previous visit (May 2019) with my wife during a weekend trip was the reason for returning this evening. The menu can leave you spoilt for choice but I can highly recommend the Trio of Haggis starter (see attached photo).I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and their professionalism & friendliness. I was served by Charles, Alana and Zoe this evening. I’m not normally one to complain without reason or send anything back but my steak hadn’t been cooked how I’d asked - requested rare but arrived nearer to well done. The staff were apologetic (not their fault!) and very accommodating. Second time around the steak was worth the wait and the way everything was handled would leave me in doubt to return again when visiting Glasgow. The peppercorn sauce and sweet potato fries were really good too.Thanks for another brilliant dining experience at Mini Grill. I hope the impending COVID restrictions on early closing for restaurants don’t impact too negatively on business.For locals I understand that they’ll be running a takeaway and delivery menu as they did during the lockdown. Support your local business and keep this gem of a restaurant going.

We visited for a birthday meal and had a fantastic experience. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Food was first class - Haggis starters followed by the best tomahawk steak we have had in Glasgow. Highly recommended

Had a lovely meal here on the 2 course set menu. £19 for 2 courses is an absolute bargain! The service is top class, the atmosphere is great and the food is as good as it gets. Definitely recommend and excellent value for money.

We stopped in here while passing through Glasgow today. I cannot recommend this place any higher. Our servers Carla and David were absolutely brilliant and couldn't have been more attentive. We had bruschetta and duck for starters both of which were top quality followed by the sharing platter steak which blew us away. I cannot wait to come back to Glasgow and revisit.

Went to this restaurant because of the great reviews of this restaurant on Tripadvisor, very disappointed. Staff polite enough and starter was good, but the main course of chateaubriand, oh dear me. The meat was tasteless and chewy so if you want a good steak in Glasgow, go somewhere else.

My friend and I were spending a few days in Glasgow and wanted to treat ourselves to a good steak. We could not have chosen a better place. Firstly, the waiter Stephen kindly allowed us entry without having booked a table in advance. We were made to feel so welcome and relaxed by the other waitress Zoe as well who kindly answered a few questions I had about where the restaurant sources their produce. My friend and I both ordered the sirloin and what can I say...just delicious on a plate. Will definitely be back again! Thank you to all the staff.

I can't really put into words how good the food is here.The trio of haggis starter is unbelievable and the Cote de boeuf with a bone marrow jus was absolutely epic.The service by Stuart and Charlene was brilliant nice and friendly but knew the menu to advise when asked a few questions about what to put with the steak etc..Setting is really nice too.We enjoyed Dakota the night before and didn't think it would be bettered but Mini Grill managed it. Annoyed we live in Manchester as this is 3 hours from home!Great work guys.

Went last Friday as part of my girlfriends birthday after reading the reviews and couldn't have been happier with the meal. Duck and haggis starters were incredible and the chateaubriand probably the best steak meal I've ever eaten. Would absolutely go back and the service from Stevie and Courtney was brilliant, especially nice touch getting us a shot at the end of the meal as we were celebrating a birthday.

Had an amazing meal here last month. We ordered the sharing chateaubriand and can't recommend it highly enough. Cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely and so helpful. The wine was nice too. Can't wait to come back.

This place is awesome, from the deer with traffic cone on its head, Kevin bridges standup playing constantly in the loo to water coming in an Isle of Harris gin bottle. Simply the best steak we've ever eaten. Trio of haggis to start was a modern spin on haggis. The chateaubriand was cooked to perfection and with the sides was plentiful. The cranachan souffle was a lovely light palette cleanser. Staff were simply great, warm, welcoming, friendly, attentive. Will definitely come back

We visited the restaurant yesterday lunch time and it was delicious!! I had the scallops and fillet steak both cooked to perfection the peppercorn sauce that comes with the steak was the nicest sauce I've ever tasted, and the chips I can't even comment on how amazing these are, proper chunky home cooked chips, the type you'd get at your grandparents on a weekend :) My sister said her steak was the best steak she's had in her life and couldn't believe how melt in the mouth it was, she also had the honeycomb dessert which we all had a try of and it was unreal!! My nephew loved the Brushetta and as a 10 year old he can be fussy but there wasn't a scrap left on the plate! Great new family run place that deserves a visit! Stay away from the chains and go enjoy the delicious food, nice atmosphere and lovely staff!! Going to return soon with my boyfriend!

Staying at malmaison, We contacted mini grill to book table which wasn’t a problem at all . On arrival greeted by Emma, Courtney and Carla who put us both at ease and provided a polite and professional service interacting in conversation and giving us some tips to visit whilst staying in Scotland. The meal was fantastic, couldn’t fault as was the service, can highly recommend and only 2 minutes walk from hotel

Had a lovely lunch here today with my partner, we both agreed it was the best steak we have ever had! Full of flavour and reasonably priced! Even despite the change of events due to corona it was an excellent experience! Staff fully following guidelines which made us feel very at ease! Would 100% recommend! This place blew us away, From the moment we walked in the staff made it such a great atmosphere all so friendly & chatty! Special mention to Stephen, Courtney, Sam & Stuart. Yous deserve more than 5*. Food was so delicious and great value for money! Also very fast service for a busy Friday night. Also our french martinis were lovely & strong! We loved our visit last night and felt very safe and comfortable space and attitude wise, especially under the current Cov 19 circumstances. What an absolute treat we had after choosing Chateaubriand with the recommended wine, followed by Raspberry cranachan soufflé. Well worth the visit from Aberdeenshire and we look forward to a return visit.

The atmosphere was wonderful - formal but not stuffy. The staff were very friendly and attentive, yet not imposing or intrusive. The steaks were not cheap but the portion sizes were reasonable and everything tasted excellent.

Absolutely amazing steak. Our first visit to the mini grill and wouldn’t hesitate to return. We had the Chateaubriand, plenty of steak, delicious sides (rosemary and garlic roast potatoes... life changing!) and tasty sauces. Pam and Charlie were really friendly. I couldn’t recommend MiniGrill highly enough. Given the situation the restaurant puts you at ease immediately upon entry. Well spaced out, staff in PPE and everything better than you would expect. Now the food, it’s unreal! The menu is fantastic but the food surpasses expectations. There is an extensive drinks menu and the staff are so helpful they make the visit even better. Don’t pass this place by for the fancier spots in the city centre. It’s amazing!!!

The portions are huge and nothing is scrimped on, we always feel we get so much for our money. The service is incredible, the staff are so attentive and friendly. Me and my boyfriend went to dinner here tonight and had such a lovely time!I am Coeliac and had to have my meal gluten free. They have good gluten free options and can give most sauces and sides GF! I had a fillet steak with chips and peppercorn sauce, it was outstanding! The service here is fantastic, from the moment we went in until we left the staff were very nice to us, never had to wait for anything and our meal was served quickly. We were served by Courtney, Emma and Carla who were really polite and lovely girls!Also in the bathrooms there were comedians playing, honestly loved this aspect of the restaurant very different from anywhere I’ve been before! Definitely will be going back!! ☺️

Food was very nice and service very friendly but a little rushed at points.Haggis trio for starter was very tasty. Hanger steak was very tender with no fat, cooked very well to order.Seems strange they're not doing the Eat Out to Help Out, maybe couldn't be bothered with the admin.

Went here based on the reviews on trip advisor. Food was ok, nothing wrong with it just not worth the higher end prices they are charging, had far more memorable steak in porter and rye etc. The restaurant itself it’s very basic and underwhelming, we had a particularly awkward table right in front of the bar and all we could hear was the staffs daft carry on and terrible patter. Staff took a informal approach when serving but with the prices they are charging we expected a more professional service and not to be treated like they were banging a plate of grub down to their pals! This might suit other diners but it wasn’t for us.

We found this little gem while travelling through Glasgow last week and it was soooo good we went again on our return back through.Every single member of staff is a joy to interact with, they care about their customers and were very quick to remember we had been a few days earlier and welcome us back, the food is wonderful, their attention to Covid safety is second to none.Nothing more for me to write really, other than do not miss the Haggis starter :)We very much look forward to coming to visit again.

We visited last night and I’d never heard of the restaurant before so didn’t know what to expect beforehand or have any preconceptions of it. We ordered a bottle of wine to start with, the wine was brought to the table and placed by us with 2 glasses but the bottle wasn’t opened. I requested that the waitress opened it to which she replied “oh I thought it was a screw top” which meant that she expected us to open it which I find a bit strange in a restaurant. My wife ordered the duck to start and I had the scallops. Have to say that the scallops were amazing and my wife said that the duck was lovely so absolutely no complaints with the starters. For the mains we had fillet steak and the celebration of swine. All I can say is you need to try the celebration of swine, it was fantastic. The steak was a good size, however my wife ordered it medium/rare and she found it to be slightly over cooked for her liking. For dessert we had meringue and a chocolate cake, both of which were excellent but there was no port or sherry available to accompany the desserts. From a personal point of view the food I had was amazing but my wife wasn’t impressed with her steak and had the service been a bit more professional then I’d be leaving a 5 out 5 review. Hopefully it’s just a blip because of the situation we find ourselves in at the minute and I look forward to returning to see if the service improves when we get back to some sort of normality and leave that 5 out 5 review that the chef deserves.

My partner and I chose the Tomahawk sharer and was very impressed! Food was sensational, and nothing was too much trouble for any of our servers of the night.It was our first time here so I presume things look a little different to normal with how the tables were spaced out, but there was hand sanitiser available upon arrival and all staff were wearing face masks.We only ate there last night, and I must have told 10 people how good it was already. Bravo!

Superb from start to finish! Brilliant food, friendly personable staff and excellent service. We had THE Tomahawk! Which was probably the best steak we’ve tasted. We’ll definitely be back soon.

We visited here for our anniversary after lockdown. We had the chateuabriand to share and was easily the best steak we have had. The blue cheese sauce was to die for as well! We had 3 courses each and all were delicious, a must try is the hazelnut and chocolate dessert also.We will definitely be back!

Went here for lunch and chose the burger although everything sounded amazing on the menu. Great service and friendly staff I will definitely be back.

Me and my partner went here last night for dinner from finding it on trip-advisor, with the good reviews we thought we would give it a try. Was one of the best meals We have ever had, I had the Glasgow burger and my partner had a steak. We can’t wait to go back!! Staff were lovely, very quick service nice atmosphere.

Got a meal delivered last night from here, it was abso beautiful, food was still hot when it got here, nd its a good 25 min drive, im looking forward to actually getting a slot in the restaurant and getting the full effect.

Served by Sam who gave excellent service from the get go. Very welcoming and friendly. Everything was cooked and presented to perfection. The scallops were especially delicious as a starter. Everything was absolutely excellent but it was made even more so by the service given by Sam, our experience was made by her. Thanks again for an excellent first evening out after all this madness of covid.

Genuinely can't recommend them highly enough. Starters were fantastic, and steaks came exactly as ordered. It was wonderful. My photos probably don't do it justice.Delivered bang on the delivery time and everything was perfect to eat.The safety measures they've deployed during delivery (gloves, physical distancing etc) were also really reassuring.Really hope they continue this service even after reopening.My photos don't do it justice as my presentation skills probably aren't what they should be!
