Great place for a special family meal. Lovely interior, friendly and efficient staff and the food was excellent. For the quality of the food the prices were very reasonable.

I was at Mondos on Saturday night with my son (Mother's Day celebration).We were shown to our table,service was excellent food delicious.staff friendly and very smart .the decor in the restaurant was very nice and modern.I would like to visit again soon .

Our night at mondo was great! we started off with a roll of sushi called "fire" it was fantastic we then went on to a wagyu burger which was very juicy and full of flavour. But desert was another level we got their special desert which was called "smooth delight" and the name says it all. The staff was also lovely and polite and Kipa and Sachin gave us a wonderful experience.

Booked online for my daughters 18th. Family meal for ten of us. Service was excellent food even better. Would definitely recommend.

Been here many times, food is served quickly and service is always great! Seating is comfortable with a nice atmosphere! I would recommend trying Mondo if you are looking for a good place to relax and have a great meal.

I took my wife here to celebrate her 40th birthday. From the minute we walked in,we liked the place immediately as the atmosphere was welcoming ,romantic and pleasant. Every bit of food we ate from the sizzling prawns and sticky chicken wings to the perfectly cooked steak where all very good. The waitresses where all smiley and professional and made us feel well looked after. We had literally just came back from Paris where we had eaten in some pretty renowned restaurants so that should tell you just his good this place is! Highly recommend

The restaurant managers attitude on the phone was disgusting! Called regarding a deposit I was asked for 3 weeks after making two bookings one for February and one for March. I made these bookings in December. When I called to enquire about this she continually spoke over me and and hung up the phone while I was speaking! Very very unprofessional and bad attitude

Christmas lunch and it was fantastic Mondo never disappoints, great food and service, friendly atmosphere and just a really nice place to eat

Awful food turkey dinner was freezing and some bits roasting clearly microwaved the pate was so strong couldn't eat it ..the male head server was very arrogant and stood away from us while wee complained almost dismissive overpriced food which tasted frozen at best ..the only highlight was our waitress who was lovely and the only reason wee left a tip ...poor service otherwise and food unedible

This is up there as one of the the best eating out experience in years. The food was amazing. My husband and I shared starters, Sizzling Prawns and Bruschetta Manzo. We both had Duo of Beef for or main, It was cooked to perfection. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was a very busy Saturday night on the 9th Dec 2023 but the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. There were families meeting up for dinner, couples out for a pre Christmas night out and two large parties out for Christmas dinner. The staff were fantastic very friendly, helpful and happy even though it was very busy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well done Mondo and the hard working staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👏 👏👍

Paid alot of money for breakfast with Santa, cold rolls and sausage and couldn't accommodate a coffee even though we offered to pay extra. Not worth the money for 1 hour.

I can’t fault Mondo. The food was amazing. We went for lunch. I had the garlic mushrooms and steak pie for the main. Stick toffee sundae to finish it off. We have an 8 and 5 year old who really enjoyed their food too. Menu came with crayons which was great too. The food was all lovely. Have a brilliant gluten free menu too. The service was superb. All the members of staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Great to have what I consider a Glasgow City standard restaurant so close to home. The toilets were sparkling clean also which is a massive plus.

Music is a little loud. And restaurant was very cold.

We’ve been to mondos a few times now.but unfortunately due to one waitress last night who was serving our table of 8 , we had a disappointing experience. She was quite rude and basically just banged the plates down. One drink we ordered was a Morgan’s and coke can with no Morgan’s in the glass! We also ordered 3 beer moretti,s the first round was fine but the second was the wrong beers. When we said to the waitress this was the wrong beer and didn’t taste the same as the last, she was adamant it was the same as before. From then on she was in a foul mood and not nice at all. Unfortunately this ruined the evening for us, as it was also a birthday celebration. Not a nice evening at all, thanks to this one waitress.

Best food I've ate in years amazing service

First time here and I loved everything about it. Thank you for a lovely meal, good service, and nice surroundings. Ciaran served us well and other servers did too. Food all cooked from scratch and designed lovingly on the plate. Every meal matters here!! Salmon was amazing. Cheese board, only one wee thing, could do with one oatcake per piece of cheese. Other than that, couldnt be better. I will be telling my friends.

Went on Thursday for our Anniversary, it was busy with large groups but had a nice vibe. Drinks came and then our starters..good so far except the brown bread with my prawn cocktail was stale. We finished those at 7.45pm and at 8.35pm we had to grab someone's attention to ask where our mains were! We were literally ignored up till this point. When they finally did come the crushed potatoes that were with my blade of beef were cold. Finally got an apology from the front of house guy. Such a shame because it's usually top notch but not sure what was going on with the kitchen that night.

Love Mondos, food and waiting staff are superb. Wouldn't go anywhere else. The place is beautifully decorated and a lovely atmosphere.

Visited here with family from Australia.It was a special celebration and Mondo didn’t disappoint from warm welcome and excellent attention from Ciaran and staff to the delicious food our guests were very impressed.My favourite restaurant by far.

Well what a place to stay and eat!! Very friendly staff upon arrival and rooms were spotless and spacious! Advised to book a table for restaurant as it can get busy with locals and you can see why!! Was very busy and service was a bit slow, however understandable! Food was amazing at dinner and breakfast! Goats cheese tart was so tasty, words could not describe it! Chilli was great, with a nice kick to it. No desserts as portion sizes were perfect! Breakfast - bacon was requested well done, and boy was it! Absolutely perfect and appreciate the request being accommodated! Will 100% come back for a stay and/or just for food!

First time at Mondos today for my belated birthday dinner. Was blown away by how nice it was inside. Can’t believe I’ve lived in Airdrie all my life and I have never been here before. When the starters arrived I couldn’t believe how big the portion sizes were and they all tasted amazing. I had the sizzling prawns with sour dough bread 10/10. For my main I had the Braised beef. It was delicious, everything went so well together. The biggest shock was when we got the bill. For how amazing the food and the service was the bill was very cheap. We will definitely be back. Thanks for such a lovely meal.

Really lovely place. Spur of the moment visit to Mondo on Sunday with the two kids in tow. Staff were super friendly and accommodating despite the fact that it was busy and we hadn't booked. The food was absolutely fantastic, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and stunning presentation. I had the roast blade of beef, it was to die for! Really reasonably priced too, will definitely be planning a return visit (hopefully child free 😆)

There was a party of 10 for lunch at 1pm. The food and portion sizes were very good, not a single complaint from our table. The service by all was great, nothing was a problem. Will be back.

Disturbing. Discovered a large hairball in my pasta, I thought it was spaghetti and meatballs not hairballs!

Food was delicious as always. A few of the front of house, including who I believe may have been the manager could brush up on their customer service skills though. Won't stop be going just hope next time the have smiles and are courteous instead of being rude. Some of the other services were lovely. Highly recommend the pina coladas.

Very quiet for a Friday lunch time food was nice I had beef and chorizo salad which was really tasty my husband had fish and chips with one fish battered and the other breaded which he said were good, I thought the fish were rather small but ok for lunch, we also had haggis loaded fries which were lovely very tasty.i also had a sticky toffee ice cream sundae which was delicious and I don't normally have desert.

What a great find. Lovely lunch with family. Great menu and kids menu good too. Two hours at table was not long enough though as we had a wait for food. Felt a bit rushed at end of our meal but other than that very good.

We visited Mondo yesterday as a family for my sons birthday meal (it was his choice of restaurant) and only half of our part actually finished and enjoyed the meals. When seated we asked for a children’s menu which never came, instead we order from...

I booked a family dinner 3 of us had fillet steak which we had trouble trying to cut it with a steak knife very disappointing considering the price of £30 steak

Portions are big, I had a starter and Mushroom Stroganoff as main, food was amazing as well as a great variety of cocktails and drinks.

Really enjoyed a meal here last month with my wife. Food was good, great atmosphere and there is a car park to the side of the hotel on Main St. Will definitely be coming back again.

Just got back from a meal with my partner. We both had the garlic mushrooms for a starter, then I had the steak and they had the vegetarian Spaghetti Bolognese. I would not recommend any of it. Everything was bland, my espresso martini had a small pile of sugar collecting at the bottom of the glass, the mango daiquiri was unbalanced with not enough alcohol and everything was overpriced. Do yourself a favour and just go to McDonald's if you still have a sense of taste after COVID.

1st time visit after friends recommended it. Top class. Decor is stunning and so clean. All staff were super friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Good food, great service, usually given about 2hr slot, book a week ahead more for bank holidays. My favourite is the sizzling prawns it's a starter highly recommended

Food was great although I found the fish a bit batter heavy, still nice though, all other courses were both delicious and very filling, would definitely return and recommend, great value also.

Having visited 3 times before we were really looking forward to taking extended family to Mondo as we really enjoyed before. Meals were really nice everyone enjoyed. But two members of staff really need to go on hospitality courses again. Server who took our order looked as if she didn't want to be there and we felt as if we bothered her by just being there We also had a problem with drinks and were told that it was new barrel of beer just put on so they didn't think we had a problem. I assure you three men can't be wrong! For these reasons we won't hurry back. Which is a pity as we really enjoyed Mondo before this. Aileen Allan

What a joy to eat real food! The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly - not mush or jaw breakers. The chips were real hand cut potatoes - not those imposter frozen disappointments. And the steak pie was FULL of actual steak, not grizzle. It was enjoyable to sit in a clean place without sticky or streaky tables still with food residue. The staff were welcoming, attentive and polite without being overbearing. First time here and will definitely be back and highly recommended for all occasions.
