just finished a meal here and boy are we stuffed food is first class tasty fresh just very good first time here and very happy we came definitely a come back to place please include kunafa in your dessert list pls otherwise excellent

Visited last Friday with friends and have to say we had the best experience. Staff were helpful and really friendly. The set meal was perfection.Best hummus I’ve ever tasted.The lamb was really tasty too! Great atmosphere and will definitely be back soon.Would absolutely recommend a visit to the Nargile!

This is our go to restaurant for a birthday, anniversary or any kind of celebration meal, basically any excuse to visit. The food is consistently outstanding, lovely settling and friendly staff, couldn’t recommend more!

I felt it was a wee bit dated inside. Service was good. The food was OK, we had a chicken and lamb dish each. The bill came to £42 for two people (no drinks) which was quite pricey.

Fantastic food, best place in Aberdeen! The food is always great and tastes so fresh. Would highly recommend either eating in or having as a takeaway.

Had our dinner before going out to the theatre and omg it was amazing! 2 courses for about £19 from the pre theatre menu such a good deal got the spicy chicken wings and inskander but with chicken was all so fine! The staff were super friendly and lovely, was such a warm welcome! Will definitely be returning and taking my boyfriend who loves Turkish food!

Having seen the reviews on here I had to try this restaurant. The food was amazing, very delicious. The only complaint we had was it was far to much. One plate of main course could have easily fed us both. We were even offered a doggy bag by the waitress. Next time we will share a plate. Great friendly staff.

The food in this place is top notch! Flavour, Portion, Plating its all Wonderful! The service is impressive. They re all so attentive. Price of the food is great too. Quality!!! I recommend this place to anyone when you visit Aberdeen! Its a must!

Finding a good restaurant in Aberdeen, on a Sunday evening, is very tricky. A lot of research uncovered Nargile, and we were blown away. I don’t claim to be an expert on Turkish cuisine, but we absolutely loved the ingredients and the wonderful freshness of everything. We stuck to mezze, with the best hummus we have ever eaten, an amazing beetroot salad, filo pastry stuffed with feta and spinach, excellent sautéed prawns in garlic, and strips of steak in an amazing salad. Everything was perfect, and we enjoyed a bottle of Australian Chardonnay. Service from the lovely Yolanda was perfect. An excellent and memorable meal for £68. Fantastic value!

Probably now my favourite place to eat in Aberdeen!! Went with a large group of 13 people and have to say from Service to the food is was amazing! Food was quick to come and would recommend the meze as a starter to share with everyone as there is something that anyone! Service of the food was spot on too, not to long and not to quick that you are in and out in 30 minutes. Staff was Fantastic too, they know exactly who ordered what with an amazing system they have. They actually looked like they where enjoying working unlike some other places. If you haven’t been before you have to go because I bet it will become your new favourite place.

Nice atmosphere, busy. Staff nice. Main course sliced lamb with aubergine, tomato sauce. Sauce was delicious but the lamb was dry, thin slices not cooked in the sauce but obviously laid on top of the dish before the sauce was poured over it and reheated. It had not absorbed any of the sauce and was very disappointing.

Nargile has been in Aberdeen for many years and when you go for a meal you can tell why. The atmosphere is ideal for any relaxed meal be it romantic or otherwise. The food is of the same high standard that it has been for at least 25 years. Booking is strongly recommended. This is a small restaurant and is very popular. If you get a chance to eat here do so. You will not regret it.

Been planning to visit for years and not sure why we didn't make it until now but will certainly be returning ASAP. I ordered a bunch of smaller meze dishes. All of which were beautifully presented, fresh and delicious! I'm a vegetarian and it's so refreshing to have so much choice of naturally veggie foods. Special shout out to the stuffed vine leaves and spinach and feta parcels which were amazing. Each dish came with a fresh salad which was just as tasty and an added bonus My partner shared some of my meze dishes and ordered the lamb main which he said was incredible. There was sooo much food. We probably didn't need as much but with so much choice it's hard not to order extra. They did offer to pack up leftovers for us but we had elsewhere to go after so didn't on this occasion. Good to know for future reference. We finished out meal by sharing the Baklava selection which was amazing too and a perfect end to a lovely meal. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and has a lovely charm. All the staff were friendly and helpful and food was served promptly. Would be a great place to go as a couple, with friends or family. Definitely one of the best places to eat out in Aberdeen.

Amazing pre-theatre, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere....what's not to like!

We shared starters and mains, pre theatre menu, very reasonably priced. Food was fresh, delicious and not too big on portion size which was ideal. Pitta bread was so fresh. Delightful meal.

We ordered the set menu for two which included cold starters, hot starters, main dishes, baklava and tea/coffee. With one dink each we spent about £70. Well worth it for the amount and variety of food. We couldn’t finish everything but it gave us an opportunity to try a wide variety of things in offer and next time we visit we’ll pick our favourites. The service was absolutely spot on. We had a really lovely and friendly waitress who I can’t speak highly enough of.

The place is well known in Aberdeen. The food here is very good. The staff here is also very friendly. But some might feel the restaurant is a bit congested due to its seating arrangement. But good food attracts so much attention that you can't complain. Its always better to book a seat before you go because it will help you relax and to get a seat or else you're a goner.

A lovely family-owned restaurant in the city centre. The food is delicious and genuinely Turkish. As a veggie, there were lots of vegetarian options and the staff made sure to point them out. Ideal for groups as well. The owners are amazing and super accommodating.

I have been here many times, it’s my go to “pre theatre” meal. The staff are so friendly and attentive and the food is so fresh and delicious. We usually have the meze as it’s a good selection , the hummus is incredible. The portions are more than generous and it’s great value for money.

I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times now, and each time I’ve not been disappointed. The staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere fantastic, and the food is just delicious! We had the set meal for 2 (min) and it was just delight after delight, followed by Turkish Delight! So many plates of food, and all so wonderfully presented, and amazing to taste! Turkish tea to finish, and I will absolutely be back very soon!

Came across this gem whilst looking for somewhere to eat on Saturday night. Although the place was busy and we hadn't reserved, we were made to feel welcome and they found a table for us. The food range was ideal, the food itself both in terms of portion size and flavour could not be bettered and all of the team made you feel that you were a regular. This was our first night in Aberdeen and was a fabulous start to our mini break.

Once again I had a wonderful meal, high quality and great value for money. The service is excellent. Looking forward to returning soon.

Haven't been since before covid....definitely lived up to memory. Service was excellent, food was fresh and full of flavour, ambience was perfect. In a word, fantastic!

Lovely Staff. Arrived there by mistake as my friends were waiting for me in the other branch. The staff were very friendly and offered me drinks as I was waiting for my friends to pick me up.

Best kebab I had. Marinade on the chicken was delicious, portion was generous. The chili sauce was so good, we finished it all. It wasn't too spicy but just enough to complement the meat. Service was good. Highly recommend. And will definitely return again when I'm back in town.

A few years since I’ve been here but the place just looks even more dated than before. Hadn’t booked so got a table next to the bar. Looked a bit chaotic behind the bar and I think we had every waitress at our table at some point. Service was good enough and food okay if unspectacular but the whole place looks like it could do with a make over . Pot of filter coffee on the bar - I’m not sure that would taste good after stewing for at least an hour. Wouldn’t recommend

My boyfriend recommended this place and he took me there I wanted to try something new but I definitely regreted. We didn't have a booking but the waitress sat us next to the kitchen we didn't hear each other. We asked for another table, we got it that was so dark and that seemed we're on the way. The food was not bad but the pita what we got the cheapest from asda. Then I had stomach ache.

Been to the Nargile before, was very busy we had the banquet it took ages to come, loads of dishes not enough room on the table, some delish flavours, the place got busier and busier, they wanted our table and was hurried to leave, had...

Went for a impromptu lunch, not one of our usual haunts. Food was actually disgusting. Won’t return. The place could also do with a refurbishment, as well as decent ventilation installed, there was a smoke haze in the place. Also no hot water at basins...

We had a lovely meal here, great for veggies like me and for meat-eaters like the rest of my family. The food, drinks and service were all first class, and we took a doggie bag of leftovers away for another day. We will be back!

We came using a groupon voucher to try this place as we had never been before. The tapas style dishes received were excellent, service was great and it was a nice cosy atmosphere. We have not had the chance to come back yet, but we certainly will.

Very very tasty banquet for 2, which we couldn't finish, so the staff packaged the rest up so we could take it home. Just delicious. The baked aubergine and the mushroom dish were de-licious ( mouth watering as I write this!). Staff really good too.

I have been going to this restaurant for 12 years straight, just the pandemic stopped me. I always choose something with aubergine as it is my favourite veggie, but everything is so well done. The stuffed peppers are amazing as well, and if you go for the set meal for 2 prepare to unbutton your jeans as a lot of plates are coming! No fancy trills just very good food. The price is reasonable and the staff always smiling and helpful. Top it with fabulous Turkish delight at the end, all absolutely tasty!

We booked at the Nargile partly because the online menu looked appealing, but possibly even more because of its location, just a few minutes' walk from His Majesty's Theatre, where we had tickets for a show later that evening. They have no shortage of choice...

Easily the best dining experience I can remember. Every dish was cooked perfectly, the sides were huge and the alcohol was great. Staff are incredibly friendly, this place is an absolute must!

Utterly shocking customer service! Restaurant did not deliver our full order. When we called to complain the girl who answered the phone couldn’t have been less helpful and just said “the kitchen is busy” and wouldn’t correct the situation. Shocking and will not be ordering again.
