Reflex Foxhall in Blackpool

Visited the Foxhall to eat and have a couple of drinks. Reasonably priced, pub food, that we enjoyed. Debbie was great, run off her feet at the bar, but still took the time to make sure we were looked after. Great service from Debbie!

I was genuinely surprised when I entered to be greeted with a 'hello and a smile from the woman behind the bar who I was told was called 'Debbie' In the short time I was there everything was done to make my visit enjoyable. The prices were certainly not the dearest and I felt good value. Unfortunately I was only visiting Blackpool for the day but on future visits I will make my first stop here. Thank you Debbie for everything, inc directions to the station lol.

Came to reflex while we still had restrictions due to covid, very professional from the minute we entered the building, we were asked to check in with the track and trace app and then to take a seat and they would be with us, the bar man was very quick and efficient and always had a smile.I have also been to the foxall on a other occasion to eat, the food was very good, hot and served promptly, all the staff are very professional and I will be back again

We have been to a number of these establishments over the year and it has always been our favourite place, however we were very disappointed when attending on Saturday night, we arrive at 20.45 in the rain to be told that they can't let anyone in till 21.00 as they have no staff .... I mean why is the establishment open with music playing if you have no staff and aren't letting anyone in? At 21.05 we return to reflex to be told the staff still haven't turned .... ?? Shocking.. So again we tried one last time 10 mins later to be told that we can now go in, first stop was the toilet... WOW what a disgrace! No toilet paper in any of the toilets , water all over the floor and wet toilet paper on the floor in the cubicles, 1 blocked toilet & faeces smeared all over the wall.... I mean I know that half of this isn't the venues fault however surely they should be checked on a regular basis. Staff.. They were totally rushed off their feet, the venue appeared totally under staffed, it was a Saturday night, first payday since restrictions lifted, and payday weekend yet it wasn't thought to put more staff on. We genuinely felt sorry for the staff.

Fantastic service from Liam and his team,Jamie,Deb,TomAlly,and keiran the door man,they all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome,will definitely return 👍👍👍

Iv been to this place in previous years with my friends and family and thoroughly enjoyed it we’ve had some of our best times here. However first time been here during the pandemic I would not recommend anybody to go here the door staff are very rude I would not even enter this establishment based on there attitude they remained sat on the step at the front entrance and could not even be bothered to make eye contact with us I would rather sit in my hotel room then be ignored like myself and my family was this evening so I will be avoiding this establishment from now on

Walking along the promenade on a really hot afternoon my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Reflex & The Foxhall, a really pleasant bar/ pub.Although from the outside it looks like a pub but inside its a modern pack' em' in bar , a riot of colour, modern decor and furnishings, an eye catching serving bar ,tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this venue ,I suppose its got a bit of an identity problem as its neither a full on pub nor a full on bar but saying that I enjoyed my visit here.We track and traced and sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table, we ordered a beer each and chose Carling beer,served chilled, we planned out our day ahead while sipping our beers. My beer was good, not my usual tipple, more a real ale and craft beer fan myself but on a hot afternoon a very refreshing brew indeed, a light ,hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit we were totally impressed with this pub/ bar.Reflex And The Foxhall is easy to locate along Promenade between South Pier and Central Puer.Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Reflex and the Foxhall is one of the many fun pub and bars dotted around Blackpool and offers an excellent drinks menu and is in a lively area of the city.The area of the venue we visited had a retro look and feel with many interesting item's through this venues interior.We visited here very early in the afternoon and it wasn't that busy'we gave our details for the track and trace and took a seat in the main bar area.When here a friendly member of staff came over and took our order of a couple of lagers from the Carling brewery which were served iced cold and well priced.Reflex and the Foxhall is a superb fun pub it won't be to everyone's taste but it has a retro style and is well worth visiting.Easy to find from Central Pier bus stop its a minute walk.(This is my first review of Reflex and the Foxhall).Opening Hours. Waited nearly 30 minutes and found the staff to be quite rude and just practically threw our drinks at us. Maybe it was just a bad day but definitely need more staff! Especially for a busy tourist pub!

Visited here Friday 21st May.We were met by a v happy,helpful bar man called Joe.He took our order,and not long after came back with our drinks.He was v chatty and helpful.The venue is great all decked out in 80s gear,and good songs on.All covid procedures in place.Told Joe we were there for the weekend,he said he was there all weekend.Went in Saturday night to see him but he wasn't there.He is a credit to his employers.Nothing beats a smiley face after a long drive.See you next time x

Best place to eat in Blackpool. Reasonably priced a good plate full of well made food and lovely staff and atmosphere. Would highly recommend eating here to everyone.Its where we’ll be eating from now on every time we stay in Blackpool. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Found this place by chance, and decided to give it a go. Really quiet place, which shocks me for this time of year. Staff really friendly and accommodating. Nothing too much trouble. Food good and fresh. Reasonably priced too! Will definitely return!

If you’re visiting Blackpool and love good food and 80s music, you’re in for a great night. The food comes highly recommended and the music/club atmosphere is brilliant. Some great offers over the weekend, Friday/Saturday so why not have a whole night here. Top notch.

We stopped at The Foxhall for food and drinks at lunchtime. Good selection on menu and very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ideal for families.

Been visiting Blackpool for couple days with my husband, found this place to eat and was very impressed. First off all with prices, they was really small, so when we was ordering I didn’t expected very good food (everything was really cheap), I was amazed when food arrived and we tasted it, everything was very delicious very good quality of food. Staff was really amazing, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to visit this place.

After an awful time just down the road at the lifeboat inn, myself and my family ventured towards the reflex and decided to give a try. What a friendly place, we stayed the rest of the evening, friendly happy staff, good prices for the drinks,the music was brilliant and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for a terrific family holiday guys

The staff were absolutely wonderful to me & my friends here!! They had no veggie burgers left because apparently it’s a popular dish but Ian went out of his way to find me an alternative. The food came fast & was delicious! Can’t believe the value for money!! The highlight of our was definitely the fun & friendly bar staff - Jenifer is a gem! ;) - we didn’t want to leave! Will definitely come back on my next trip!

Visited The Foxhall restaurant with my family on Saturday 13th July the rump steak was cooked to perfection, my wife's fish and chips were amazing, my daughters loved the chicken goujons and ice cream

Me and a few friends stayed in Blackpool last weekend we found the foxhall tooked away from the hussle and bussle of the prom and went both days we was here thank you so much the waitress jen "we think" lovely down to earth girl the food was just on point I had mega mixed grill and was not disappointed thanks again for your service and lovely food we will be back!!!!!!

Went into the Foxhall restaurant for a meal with the family, food was lovely and served quickly and drinks were all reasonably priced, great place to stop off and grab some food, thanks to the barman Ian (I think)

Just visited foxhall restaurant with my wife and all I can say is wow my compliments to the chef Ian that was possibly the best fish and chips I have ever tasted it was so tender and fluffy and far from over coated with batter just absolutely fantastic .

Been to blackpool a few times. This place is always absolutely heaving with groups of heavily drunk people being very rowdy and falling around!! Always full of hen and stag do's. Seen some trouble a few times. Not the place I'd ever want to be for more than 5 minutes!

Oh wow, how fresh is the Foxhall looking, amazing, we are regulars to the Foxhall for amazing food and friendly atmosphere, the restaurant is looking so good with the new colours, and as per usual the food was amazing, will be back in tomorrow for lunch with our visiting relatives

Went in at the weekend with a bunch of friends and I was so happy with the amazing service! The drinks where great and a good price to. Couldn't fault it in anyway, made to feel so welcomed and I will deffo be recommending to everyone I know.

Popped in for a quick drink with some friends on Saturday night, the music was perfect for the venue and the bar staff were lovely, all polite and helpful. The venue was also clean.

Me and my partner went on a Saturday night, was pretty quiet to start off with but the music was great and it soon got busier. Was served by Gina for most of the night, she seemed happy to be there, was very helpful and made us feel at home! Will definitely come back next time

It was a very stormy day, after a busy weekend, so they had run out of fish.... We opted for the scampi and chips dinner special. The service and food were "okay", but nothing to make a special trip for.

Called in yesterday as part of a group of 3 people visiting Blackpool, the welcome could not have been better. Very friendly team who could not have done more, this is unfortunately rare in tourist areas. The bar was immaculate and we had food which was absolutely spot on. Loved the little touches like the children’s Halloween pictures on the wall and the fact that the man running the show gave presents to the little girl in the bar as she was the last child there. We left to go elsewhere but came back due to level of service. I hope this bar stays a success and if it doesn’t it is not down to a lack of effort. Big well done to the man managing the show in the white shirt you are doing a cracking job and so are your team!! From a restaurant manager with very high standards I could not fault you.

Called in for some food and prosecco! A Thursday afternoon. Had some lovely food and there was a good selection. Kieron was fantastic , had a laugh and joke and enjoyed the afternoon with fabulous 80's music on the TV

We ate in here in between traveling from Liverpool to Glasgow last week, so glad that we picked here, such a warm and friendly welcome, the place was clean and nice and warm, the food was excellent, I highly recommend visiting here for food and drinks

Just arrived in blackpool and thought we would try to get something to eat, my partner is celiac and we thought we would struggle but Kieran made our visit easier, him, the GM and the chef pulled out all stops to ensure we were catered for and well looked after, thanks again to you all at the fox hall, ps don’t believe the crap reviews they must have been crabbit as we were treated great from start to finish.

After struggling to find a place to eat at 9pm on Saturday, we eventually found this place, only 2 other tables being used up stairs, seems such a waste for a very good menu and good service.

Love this restaurant, always take my family in for food. My daughter is usually really fussy but can't fault the kids meals, she eats the lot and still wants more. My partner loves the burgers, creacher of habit he is won't try new things but loves the burgers that much he wouldn't want to try anything new. As for me I love trying new things and a big dessert person, love the desserts here and always leave full and happy. The staff are always great and do everything they can to make my experience great, always on hand with colouring and crayons for my daughter to keep her entertained while waiting for her food. Would recommend to anyone and everyone I know.

Visited Foxhall again, this time to try the new menu which was launched Tuesday 18th September, had the curry lovers pie, tasted amazing, good value for money, good portion sizes, will visit again soon highly recommended.

Sat in this place right now dam right rude member of staff with red hair and a bun (male) very rude and aggressive when asking if my drink was correct as a black Russian which he didn't no what the drink was!! Tasted incorrect it's not a hard drink or complex it's tia maira vodka and coke upon asking him he said right!! I've done it as I was told!!! I wasn't been arsey- just the fact it didn't taste right .I work in this industry 6 days a week and find it rude your bar staff talk to people in this rude,patronising way. I can understand why it's 1am on a Friday eve... and there is 8 people in here. It's a peak time... "illuminatons".

Food was fantastic and the service was next to none. Absolutely fantastic with my kids, the staff were so friendly and polite will definitely go again

Went to reflex on a Friday with the girls it wasn’t busy and still took ages to get served at the bar. Cocktails are good value for money and the gimmicky things like Madonna mug and big glasses with drinks are good. Went on the Saturday and waited about 20 mins to get a drink. Lots of hens and stags.

My wife and I called in on a wet Friday evening having travelled down from Scotland. We just wanted somewhere reasonably priced to get a decent meal.

Excellent food, friendly staff. Most cheerful people we've seen since arriving . having walked at least half the promenade looking to eat this was the only place that wasn't just burger and chips.

Food and drink were average, but appalling service and attitude from the blonde member of staff. I couldn't believe the way she was speaking to her colleague and several customers while I was there this afternoon. I won't be going back.

Came here 2 weeks ago for a stag do.. Was the first bar we hit.. The amazing bar staff on shift jess! who was working on her own for a while was extremely helpful and went the extra mile for us all.. The service we received was excellent and she helped us to find the best places to go in town as some of us had never been Blackpool before.

Visited Foxhall restaurant today for food amazing value for money for both food and drinks, thank you to the waiter for great service, very approachable and happy to help, We then ventured downstairs to Reflex friendly barman, clean venue and good midweek drinks offers. Will be visiting again next time

Popped in this pub for a wee refreshment and the loo you guessed it! no loo roll in either toilet, asked staff to be told we have none The loo doors don’t have working locks either

Same menu as the Manchester Inn but most items are 50p to a pound cheaper! Food and drinks are good and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Our first visit here and it won't be our last.

Third time I have called in for a pint in last couple of months once again absolutely disgusting pint of Carling more life in a goldfish bowl. My own fault thinking things will get better. Oh well won't be trying a fourth time.

Menu prices do not reflect what I paid charged extra for curly fried instead of chips without informing you first also charged over £9 for menu deal said £8 with free alcoholic drinks staff said company were planning to change menu load of bull would not recommend

I booked a table for my partners birthday drinks. Steph was brilliant at organising and decorating the tables, bringing out the cake ect music was good. Will definitely go back there

Fab food. My 11 yr old son thoroughly enjoyed the kids pasta that I had to buy him a second kids meal. Wish I asked how they made it now because hes such a fussy eater.

Lovely place and staff are very friendly. Lovely made from scratch meals. Free WiFi available via the cloud. Family friendly restraunt and serves tea and coffee if you don't like drinking. Very comfortable and best place to come if Blackpool is busy as can rest assure you will get a seat in this place and will be quieter than most places around Blackpool.

great night out not bad priced drinks, staff offering shots get abit annoying as they pester you whilst your drinking, how ever the music was excellant but very cheesey, just up my street.

Found this great place late on Saturday afternoon. 2 adult meals for 7.95 and kids meals at 2.50 Excellent value for money and succulent food to boot. Buy one get one free on deserts to. Kids had the cookie sharing platter. Definitely will revisit when...

Waited 1hour 20 minutes for food ordered plain burger came with salad and relish sent it back came back they just scraped it off ordered a gamon steak said it comes with pineapple and tomatoe they served it is took one bite and realised this...

well was empty as we walked in, bar staff busy on phone!..ordered fish,chips and peas which was brought within 4 mins!..i now know why is was so quick! It was awful! My fish was not cooked was cold in the middle,greasy as hell and just horrible! Chips weren't fresh either!..was a disgrace to be honest ...2 meals for £7.99 cheap yeah but totally horrible wouldn't recommend here at all!! Yack!!!!

another spot in blackpool that used to be heaving --it seems sundays after 6pm even when the illuminations are on and there are plenty people about the pubs are empty.

Nice quiet place upstairs good deals good was nicely cooked but our waitress let it down looked very bored and felt like we was burdening her the food was cooked well just Shame about service

Good big pub, with pool tables etc. Right on the front so very centrally placed for the town centre. Nice and lively place, with music and good for the bar scene in Blackpool. Worth a visit.

Walked into this bar, hoping to get some 'cheap' ish drinks. After looking at the signs outside, we though we would try it. For a drink that was advertised at £1.75 outside on a sign, actually cost me £3.90 - I'm not one to complain or moan so I paid and sat down. Reflex was pretty empty at the time we were in there (8-9pm) so was pretty boring. If I return to Reflex, they'll be lucky.

asked for roast chicken for the two grand kidds and got kentucky fried will not be back..why advertise roast chicken if you havnt got it was not told they had none

I've been going to the Foxhall for meals over the past few years now never thought to write about the place until now . I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal in this establishment and I've eaten here on several occasions it offers excellent value for money staff and service 1st class

Good pint even if In a plastic pot. Place was rocking. Quick service. Cheap beer. Great music and overall well worth a visit.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon which is totally different from visiting on a Saturday! The location was very quite and relaxed which was a pleasant change. The staff were friendly and the offers on drinks for Carlsberg & Strongbow are very good Sunday to Thursday. Just up from the Manchester Square tram stop. Perfect for a Sunday chill out.

We went on Tuesday which was "burger night" burger and a drink for £5.50We had to return the sweet potato and mozzarella burger as it was rock hard and overcooked. We weren't expecting a 5 star meal for that price but it was literally a burger and a jacket potato!! Not even a salad garnish. The place was under staffed meaning our table hadn't been wiped down and the food was poor.

Visited with husband, children and 2 close friends, was good value though did seem as though both regular chips and spiral fries had been reheated, were rock solid & inedible, chicken breast had clearly been reheated. Steaks were ok though asked for medium and received medium rare was still quite nice though. Good drinks menu. Service was good though there only appeared to be one member of staff.

Came to the fox hall with my family of 4 last week and I have to say the food was delicious! The staff were brilliant with my 2 children 6 & 8 making sure they had colouring sheets and crayons to entertain themselves while we waited for the food, we waited aprox 20 mins (no time at all) and it was hot well presented and amazing! We will be returning very soon and have told our family and friends about it too! Excellent service from the bar and waitresses also very clean!

Popped in here during a family break in Blackpool as the menu outside seemed ok & good value.Pub was nearly empty at the time, & tables had not been cleaned but we found a table by the window with a view & staff wiped it down.Ordered 3 burgers, but waited almost an hour for them to arrive. Had asked for chips but got curly fries which were like bricks and inedible. My son's chicken burger was partially over cooked & all looked as though had been left on the side too long. Was hungry so ate what we could but complained about the meal & was given a partial refund.Chap on next table had ordered the 2 for 1 deal of fish & chips, waited an hour to be bought one & be told the order had been confused.Overall poor quality & service from staff who gave me the impression that they couldn't be bothered.

We went in here whilst on holiday. There was 14 of us. Upon entering we commented that it looked quiet. So we found somewhere to sit and looked at the menu. After 10 or so minutes I went to the bar to order only to be told it would be a one and a half to two hour wait. I thought this was a little extreme considering how quiet it was. A two hour wait is hardly acceptable even at busy times. Seeing as we had somewhere to be we couldn't wait the two hours so decided to leave. I was the last one through the door going out and I looked back as the door closed I witnessed the barman high five another guy who I could only assume was the chef. Now I Could be wrong but I certainly got the sense that they just couldn't be bothered serving 14 people. I doubt if these people were the owners. We will not be going back.

Popped in this pub for lunch two adults and three children, the service was extremely slow there was only one young girl working behind the bar taking drinks and food orders, waiting on tables and clearing tables, she was working really hard but couldn't keep up. I think there must have been a similar situation in the kitchen the food arrived late and was so poor I sent it back and asked for a refund.The staff refunded my money, and said she would have a word with the chef I think they were under staffed and that was the main problem.

Nice food, nice staff, not out of the price range would recommend to anyone we've eaten here a few times when we've visited Blackpool, my daughter is mad for their curry

Ten of us visited looking for an impromptu Sunday lunch. It was virtually empty and there was a delay as only one cook there. However the food was all ok albeit coming out at different times. Not expensive so a bit forgivable!

Rude snotty staff. Waited at the bar for an eternity and the 12yr old bar man picked who he served next based on cleavage! Lots of much nicer friendlier pubs on the front.

I visited here for a hen do weekend & approx 20 of us ate in the restaurant, beautiful views, right on the sea front which was lovely.Good priced drinks & the food was incredible, not one wrong order for our party which is always good. Quick service and friendly staff.Definitely worth a visit here if you want some top grub on the prom with a fab view

great food, great prices, loads of different meals to choose from in the 2 for £7.99 offer and kids meals are only £2.50 so if you have a budget and still want great tasting food this place is fab I actually preferred it to the weatherspoons and grill house we went to the first couple of nights

We go here every Thursday for a few drinks after work the bar staff ( jess ) is very nice and a good laugh the place is clean and a good pint at a good price.see you Thursday

we went into The foxhall for lunch we were late on in the afternoon so the place was quiet so we were pleased about that ,we had just been up the tower and we were telling the young man behind the bar about it he said he was hoping to go up the tower soon .we had the sausage and mash it was really nice very hot ,the whole place was very clean and tidy and service was very good too we didn't have to wait long for our food we had planned to go here again before our holiday ended but we never got the chance but we would really recommend it not too pricey either and plenty of choice on menu .

Great wee pub always visit here whilst in Blackpool good for cocktails and a wee game of pool friendly staff and good music

This used to be a great place, used to be. It's now a scruffy little dive with torn furnishings and bare concrete floor where the paint has worn off. The drinks are way over priced for the state of the venue, it's cashed in on the stag and hen easy money and let's its self go, which is sad. Typical of Blackpool as a whole now I suppose. One to miss on you list of places to drink. Better places further south on the prom, grab the tram and avoid this place

First visit here & wasn't disappointed. Restaurant was clean & tidy. A great variety of food on the menu at great prices too. Friendly & welcoming staff, great central location. Definitely worth a visit, we'll be returning :)

Called here wanting some food but when we finally got upstairs we were told no fish and chips, no gammon, no this and no that, Do not go at tea time as they have nothing left, big disappointment, will never go again.

We called in for lunch , Sunday , not too busy , as soon as we sat down the staff informed us what they had or hadn't got ,which we thought very good & gave us the choice/chance to walk away ! We stayed , & had 5 tasty meals service was excellent, waiting was kept to a minimum ,numerous times we were asked if everything was ok during the meal , many places could learn customer service skills from a visit there ! Excellent & nicely priced ,

have visited this bar many times before on our visits to blackpool, but last weekend was disgusted. floor soaked from spilt drinks, tables soaked with spilt drinks, seats ripped and dirty, toilets disgusting and no 80's music to be heard.previous times we have enjoyed delicious cocktails and a boogie to 80's chart toppers. Not this time - the cocktail list left a lot to be desired and were expensive, the music was current chart music and the drinks we ordered were foul. Seen them pour my vodka from smirnoff bottle but no way was it smirnoff, it tasted of cheap vodka!!. we ordered 2 vodka red bulls, which cost £10.40 and got 1 can of red bull between us!. when we asked for another can she just gave us it without charge so obviously trying to click with the prices. As i said the vodka was horrible and not at all smirnoff! Will not be going back! It is a dive now and disgusting!!
