Sutor Creek in Highland

Small,beautifully decorated cafe. Intimate without feeling crowded. We were here at tail end of a very busy lunch. We each had a pizza and wine, (cider for him). The pizza did not dissapoint, piled with fresh local toppings, housemade sauce and a delectable, thin and crisp homade crust..truly the best pizza I have had. The dessert was exceptional!

Had a fabulous lunch here today with family. I started with the ham hock terrine followed by the sea bass- I have dietary requirements Gluten/wheat/dairy free and the server was great letting me know what they could adapt. The starter was great and the sea bass was absolutely fantastic. I also ordered a gluten free/dairy-free Hawaiian pizza to take home and it was the best takeaway pizza I’ve had anywhere. My mum started with the scallops which were perfect followed by the sea bass again she loved it. My sister started with the crab pate which was spot on and tasty followed by the roast lamb which she said was the best she has had anywhere in a very long time. The service was good and the server came and chatted to us which was nice. We can’t wait to visit again . 10/10

Fantastic.... As a chef myself trying to find places where the food is of a certain standard I was not dissapointed in sutars creek. All four of of us opted for a different pizza and they were amazing . The star of the show for us had to be the desserts. As fine dessert as any 5 star hotel anywhere. We had lemon posset and rhubarb cheescake. Sensational just sensational If you get the chance to go then make sure to leave room for dessert as you won't want to miss it.

What a fabulous meal. The pizza was full of flavour, lots of topping and a lovely thin crust. The dessert was thee best I've ever had. Rhubarb cheesecake on a gingerbread base. Perfect combination. Lovely friendly and attentive staff. Can highly recommend this great restaurant.

We found this almost by accident when away for the weekend with friends. The restaurant was busy, but they said that if we could wait 20 minutes they would keep us a table which, indeed they did so glad we decided to wait! We had pizza and crispy calamari, both of which were superb. Indeed, the pizza is probably one of the best we have ever eaten and we will be back for sure. The staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful.

What a fabulous little restaurant, with superb food along with excellent, friendly service. Excellent seafood - and, apparently, according to our daughter, the best pizza she's had in years!!

can't get enoughof pizzas from Sutor Creek. This is the 5 time this whinter I'm here. Living 30 miles avay. Defenetly worth it comming. Just remember to reserve a table befoure becouae it is normaly busy.

So I've always wanted to try the food from here as I am in cromarty a lot. I was not disappointed. I am not a vegetarian but the butternut squash risotto sounded divine. It was. You could taste all the flavours from the actual butternut squash to the sage, the goats cheese and the toasted walnuts. A big portion too. I also had a latte and that gave me a nice afternoon caffeine hit. Absolutely recommended by me. Freshly cooked too I should add.

A lovely little place with a wonderful chilled atmosphere. Comfortable seating, friendly and attentive staff without being intrusive. The Cullen skink and homemade bread was very nice indeed. My venison casserole was excellent and my partner had the steak which she said was absolutely beautiful. Well worth the drive from Inverness. We will definitely be back.

Delighted that Sutor Creek has fully reopened as a restaurant after its various deli/takeaway incarnations during the lockdown years. Food as good as ever - excellent Korean pork belly, flank steak and (of course) pizza. Friendly and efficient service, too.

Theis small restaurant punches well above its weight. The kitchen meus looks fantastic and the pizza are big and tasty, had to ask for a box for the spare slices. We also had some excellent coffee and cake earlier in the day. Warning - you need to book it is very popular!

On our annual visit to Cromarty, we benefitted from the food at Sutor Creek on four nights! Two takeaways and two meals in the restaurant; it was great to be able to sit at an indoor table again after the Covid changes forced upon them. We were delighted that the standards remain as high as ever. Fish is especially fine, as is the lemon posset, but it is genuinely hard to find anything that stands out - it is all excellent! We really enjoy Sutor Creek and look forward to next year's visit!

Had a boat trip came off needed something to eat stumbled across this tiny cafe/restaurant what a find food service everything about it is amazing. Hadnt booked but found us a table the crab and smoked salmon tian was beautifully presented my husband had haddock and chips the fish was so fresh would definately recommend the staff were lovely and very helpful

Literally bobbed in for a snack. Ordered the Korean Chicken. OMW. It was the nicest, tastiest food I have had in a long time. Really enjoyed it. Was just enough too served with sticky rice. My husband had Meat Feast Pitza and he says it was the meatiest meat pitza he has ever had! The lady, who I assume was the owner, was really lovely and friendly. As were the chef and waitresses. The cafe was spotlessly clean and I would highly recommend for food.

Rude staff. I ordered 2 coffees to take out on the door payment in advance was told to wait outside, After noticing people After me being served I when back in and ask the waitress for my order she said what is that you want I said 1 expresso and a late she that will be £7.40 I said I already paid show the receipt 14 minutes ago she was rude dismissive and told me to wait outside again I waited and still no drinks, I said I want my money back she then ask someone to make the coffees no apologies that someone forgot the order the worse was the two girls giggling finding the hole thing a joke. This place is run rude 12 year old staff with no interest on customers maybe because they don't have competitors but with staff like that it's only a matter of time. It will end badly.

We have been to this small cafe a few times now. Most recently had the stoltman pizza named after the local strongmen and very nice friendly server and view straight into the fire. Will come again

Excellent food. We ordered a couple of take - away's which were fab, but on collection each time the restaurant was busy and buzzing.

The most amazing gluten-free pizza I have had in a long time! I really have struggled to find a good gluten-free pizza, but this place had so much choice! It was bloody brilliant and I wanted to eat it again as soon as I finished....

There are only a handful of tables so do book ahead if you want to sit down. The scallops were very good and reasonably priced, fish and chips similar, however the reason for a reduced review was the pizza which are some of the worst...

Fantastic cafe / restaurant. Good selection and expedient delivery of the orders. Recommend the fish & chips and Sutor Pizza with gluten free base. Friendly service and great venue. And their local Cromarty beers are great too!

Terrific pizza in a nice place with very friendly staff. Loads of toppings and choices. Good selection of gins and some nice seaside crafty goods too. No dogs allowed inside but some seating outside.

What a little gem this is! We went for the pizzas but there were plenty of other of things on the menu we could have tried. Don’t let the outside appearance put you off. Lovely warm welcome inside. Lots of locals eating there as well....

I used to get pizzas from here regularly when I lived in the area in 20/21 and they were always excellent. I got a takeaway Margareta pizza on my recent trip and was extremely disappointed with the quality. It just didn't have any flavour. Possibly...

Best ever pizza. Crispy sourdough with really good selection of toppings.We chose a take away because it was such a lovely evening but there is some inside seating too.

First opportunity to visit our son and our new daughter-in-law since their wedding 6 weeks ago. We were going to find a place to celebrate in Inverness, but decided to keep our money on the Isle and order in from Suters. So glad we did. It was a complicated 3 course order for 6, supplied spot on (in truth, they had missed our request for no tomato in the burger as my son-in-law is allergic, but maybe we wrote it in the wrong place, tomato easily removed anyway!). The order came in purpose built containers that did an excellent job of keeping the food hot and fresh for our return. The standard of the food was excellent, I personally can vouch for the Cullen Skink and the smoked haddock risotto, but the reports on the burger, pizzas, crab, calamari and sticky toffee puddings were all massively positive! I dare say we shall be visiting again and look forward to eating food from Suters Creek once more!

Visited twice, while holidaying in the area, for coffee and cake. All great but really enjoyed the carrot cake. Staff kindly halved the carrot cake so my husband and I could share our cakes. Wood fired pizzas looked delicious as did their other food. Great wee deli. Worth a visit.

Arrived in Cromarty in a camper van & phoned 5 minutes before they were due to close. Very happy to stay open for us so that we could order a take away (COVID restrictions). Very friendly, delicious fish & chips and a great selection of cold local beers .... perfect!

Ordered online day before and phoned staff regarding dietary requirements - very helpful and informative.Pizza hot and delicious, chips tasty and smoked haddock risotto enjoyable. Made for a really lovely Sunday afternoon, looking out over the Cromarty Firth while tucking in to our yummy takeaway.Only criticism, more choice of fish dishes and dairy free options would be fab.Would definitely recommend this little gem.

I’ve never left a bad review for any business, but we’ve tried several of the dishes at Sutor Creek, and have been disappointed with them all. Venison casserole was inedible - fat and gristle. We threw it out. Fish and chips: the chips and peas were so undercooked that we threw it out as well. Even the pizzas are only OK, certainly not good.Puzzled by the good reviews. Maybe something’s changed.

We have had two excellent meals from here. The 3 pizzas were the best we have ever eaten, each one better than the other. Sticky toffee pudding excellent also. All done as takeaway due to Covid, and delivered to the house. Unfortunately only open at weekends just now. We are here in a carer capacity for my brother, and only wish we had a similar place in Yorkshire! We will be back! Anne and Neil Billing

We had the venison casserole with sticky toffee pudding last week. This week we had Sri Lankan curry followed by lemon posset. Both were amazing. Delicious, nicely presented and a real treat in these lockdown times. Thank you Sutor Creek. Highly recommended.

Tremendous service with a comprehensive simple and efficient website. Online ordering could not be easier, with 10 minute local delivery time slots and the meal arriving bang on time. Then there's the food - forget Gordon Ramsay, this chef is fantastic! Good healthy portions in strong degradable packaging - absolutely faultless throughout.

Firstly. Love the biodegradable packaging and cutlery for takeaway. Pizza and specials both high quality, staff are good fun and nice. The changes made to suit 2020 life have worked well and the deli set up is great. Look forward to an indoor meal again one day...

This is a hip and trendy café, but unfortunately my deli Haddock & Spinach quiche was tasteless and the custard filling was unset. At £6, this was far from a deli-ishous treat.

We were on the last day of our NC500 route tour and thought we would make the effort to go to the Black Isle and Cromarty. Our B&B hostess had mentioned this cafe so when we came across it we thought we would give it a go. Having been filled with a massive breakfast I still couldn't resist the array of really different but totally delicious looking cakes. The choice was so great I struggled but eventually decided on an almond and fig pastry tart (with a whole fig in the centre!) and my husband chose a fruit and whiskey loaf. Despite the damp and chilly weather there were several outdoor heaters which meant we could sit outside very comfortably. The coffees were excellent, but my cake was to die for. The pastry was so crisp and buttery!! We noticed they also sold pizzas and burgers and other fayre too.There was a little deli within the cafe which sold small bottles of wine - perfect if you wanted a drink with your meal outside - and also beers, local goods, etc. The service was also fantastic - the owner had a good chat with us whilst we were being served, taking an interest in where we were from. Everything was Covid safe and regulations were met.I would really recommend this little gem - especially if you like good cakes!

We were lucky that weather in Sept was kind to us and we could sit at an outdoor table with our pizza. Lovely thin & crispy base and great choice of toppings. Friendly staff and lovely view of the harbour.

Excellent take away service, excellent tasty food. Good adherence to Covid rules. All together great staff seem happy in their work and very helpful.

We have just had a delicious alfresco lunch. Mussels were very tasty, huge and plump, generous portion and great value at £10 with a large portion of truly homemade chips. Pizza also excellent. Staff very friendly, would highly recommend.

If you are anywhere near Cromarty visit this fantastic cafe/deli. We had the mussels and fishcake. How they have adapted to a take away menu with such delicious food is amazing. Completely COVID safe. Friendly staff. Seating outside. Absolutely faultless.

Fantastic online takeaway service from Sutor creek today we ordered and paid online the night before we had the fig and Parma ham pizza with a side of cheesy chips and whitebait all delicious nice and hot and ready in time for collection well done!

Only doing take-away at the moment so we ordered online to eat in our holiday cottage. The ordering process was slick and enabled us to specify a pick-up time.We shared calamari to start followed by two excellent pizzas (Black Isle and CPJ) and shared a Lemon Posset. The young staff were totally Covid focused and so friendly and welcoming.

Ate from here twice on our Cromarty stay and were not disappointed. Ordered & paid online and chose a pick up time due to covid restrictions. First visit we each had a pizza which were delicious. Second visit husband had the Sutor burger which was huge and I had fresh mussels with chilli and lemon grass with the tastiest chips. Not the cheapest takeaway but worth every penny. Highly organised when collecting order and you can sit outside on picnic benches to eat and enjoy the harbour view.

Stopped for pizza on a warm sunny August day. Extremely simple and easy to follow social distancing procedures, delicious pizzas straight from the wood fired oven. Great coffee, great ice cream. Well worth a visit.

My partner and I arrived to the area quite late and realised there was no collection slots available but they said they’d fit us in at close (8pm Sunday) which we greatly appreciated. We ordered the roast beef dinner and it was fantastic, the best slow cooked roast beef we’ve ever tasted. I would go back in a heart beat. The lad on the counter was lovely and the chef was too. If you fancy some tasty cooked hearty meals this is the place to go.

Truly delicious mussels and chips, large portions (one between two for lunch would be ample!). Excellent wood fired pizza and fab lemon posset dessert. The online ordering app works well and sitting outside on the harbour wall is just great.

Visited here today on a day trip to Cromarty. Saw Cullen Skink on the menu while researching, so my friend (from Aberdeenshire, who makes the best Cullen Skink I've ever tasted) was keen. Luckily we arrived at midday so we got a bench outside. They are designed badly, so a grazed knee didn't enhance my experience. I ordered 1.5 Cullen Skink, a Sutor Burger and Maragarita Pizza for the 3 of us. Ordering / service arrangements not clear or explained but I won't dwell on covid-19 related issues. The Cullen Skink had NO fish in it. Literally none. My friend took hers back straight away. Mine was a half portion, but still no fish, but I moved on to my Sutor Burger, which was delicious. Pizza was fine. When my friend came back, after a very long wait, with a replacement Cullen Skink it looked better but all that was found was 1 acceptable piece of fish! This 'dish', served in a cardboard cup, was £6! Without bread! Having asked for some with the replacement the bread was bland. But worse they had NO butter. Or pepper for the [still bland] soup! No apology offered by what I'd describe as perfectly pleasant but inexperienced (in problem resolution) staff. While eating we had a conversation about why some people complain, etc., and we are not those who seek problems but on this occasion Sutor Creek failed to deliver. Sorry (because I know many who rave about it), but I would not rush back.

What a lovely treat. Placed lunch order, 50 min wait for food but enjoyed a beautiful walk around Cromarty. Sun came out so sat outside on the seating provided and throughly enjoyed the delicious pizzas. A truly lovely experience.

First visit yesterday for fish and chips and a burger. Excellent service and the food cooked to order amazing and delicious, although nearly lost mine when a hole appeared in the box but saved just in time. Well cooked and not greasy like many fish and chips. Can’t wait to return to try the pizza.

Had a great lunch here- lovely scenic spot with beautiful views. We both had a pizza which were delicious and huge! The service was really great - very friendly place. Wouldnt hesitate to go back and try something else from the menu!

We stopped by Sutor Creek on the offchance that they could fit us in even though we hadn't booked. It was early evening and so we were lucky and got a table before the main service. There was only pizza on offer but that was what we had gone for anyway so it didn't matter. I had the Sutor and my OH had something with haggis or black pudding that I can't remember now. Mine was delicious and perfectly cooked and OH seemed happy with his too. I asked for hot chocolate with a non dairy milk and they were able to supply almond milk.We returned the next day for lunch and I had an extremely delicious burger. OH had pizza again and reported same high standard. I could have happily chosen any of the other options on the menu, they all sounded lovely.Staff were attentive and chatty without being overly bothersome!I thoroughly recommend for dinner or lunch but suggest booking.

Having had several good meals here, we went with friends for a birthday meal. The food was good, though I’d have to say we all agreed not as good as previously. The main problem on this occasion was the temperature in the cafe. We were all cold and sat with our coats on, and looking around so we’re others. We mentioned to the staff that it was cold but it was shrugged off. Spoiled the visit.

We have just enjoyed an amazing meal at Sutor Creek. Cullen Skink, Shetland scallops and rhubarb cheesecake for me. Ham hock terrine, roast lamb and Blood Orange Baked Alaska for my husband. The service excellent and the decor and background music all combined to make for a memorable birthday and anniversary meal.

We stayed for a week at a cottage in Culbokie. The owner of the cottage and comments in the visitor book were very clear.....Go to Sutor Creek, so we did, we were not disappointed. The staff were brilliant the food was amazing and the atmosphere friendly and cosy, while outside, it was a very wet very windy night. It reminded me why Cromarty features on The Shipping Forecast!But if I could choose where to be on such a night it would be somewhere just like Sutor Creek.

Highly recommend this lovely little restaurant in the historic village of Cromarty. We had the pizzas which seem expensive at first look on the menu, but are very authentically made in the true Italian style (a crispy, thin base unlike the American 'deep pan' version) and very big for the cost. A wide range of creative flavour options are available including suitable for vegetarians/vegans, and you can also ask for adaptations according to your preferences. The desserts were equally fantastic and beautifully presented. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. The toilet facilities were also excellent, including a fully equipped disabled toilet (important to one family member in particular!). Will definitely visit again in the future.

When in the Highlands we always make the effort to drive to Cromarty and have lunch here. The food is fantastic and the staff local and thoroughly excellent.The pizzas are made in a proper wood fired pizza oven and all the food is freshly made and very tasty.Please disregard the previous persons review as the clearly have no idea. The full restaurant on each visit clearly shows that locals and visitors from further afield come here regularly.I have sampled pizzas, the burger, devine fish cakes, excellent starters and brilliant friendly service here on every visit.

I would highly avoid this place as they use cheap bases for their pizzas and foremost they charge quite a bit for the pleasure.I found a sticky grey snot residue on my plate which put me off eating anymore pizza but they still charged us fully for meal. Even after I pointed it out to the manager she dismissed the foreign item as soot which it wasn’t.Save your money and eat elsewhere

Popped in for Sunday lunch, we were welcomed with a warm friendly smile. What a delightful wee place, lovely menu the Sunday roast was a winner. My niece ordered a pizza from their own pizza oven, the staff kindly offered her to go over and watch it being cooked. Wonderful place, definitely book before you go, I think we were lucky we got one of their quiet spells. Best meal and lovely staff is a winning combo... Well done Sutor Creek! :)

My wife and I visited the Sutor Creek Café in the quaint little village of Cromarty and were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food, service and value for money. The Cullen Skink and whitebait both hit the spot as starters and our burgers (perfectly cooked to order) and fries were absolutely delicious. The café was warm, homely and spotless and our server, Lisa, could not have been more friendly or attentive. The restaurant's only shortcoming is that it is not closer to our house!

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Fantastic food, beautifully presented and beyond tasty!! Excellent service with cheerful, knowledgeable staff. Wonderful.....a perfect way to spend an evening with family and friends.

I must compliment this establishment as it was totally suitable with level floors, disabled functioning toilets, and ample space allowing elderly to navigate easily.

Kudos to these guys. They deliver an excellent service all round in many ways punching above their weight, but in a good way. They have a very good booking system which in the summer I would strongly suggest you make use of. The staff were all efficient and charming.

We visited Sutor Creek on a very busy Saturday evening in mid October - we were glad we had booked several days in advance. We had a 'Seafood' and a 'The Sutor' pizza - both were superb. Fortunately, we had room for some delicious desserts. If you are staying near Cromarty this is the place to eat in a very friendly atmosphere (they do take aways too).

We were in Cromarty for a trip and came across this restaurant. Wow it was a great experience. The welcome and friendliness was from entering the door to leaving. The decor is great and you can watch as they make your food. We had pizza and it was superb. I opted for the Black Isler and was not disapointed. A box is provided if you cant finish your meal. Thank you for a great meal and a great experience.

We had dinner here as a couple. The place is warm and cosy and it was busy. Friendly service. £9 for a mackerel pate starter was expensive. It was ok but not really worth £9. My wife enjoyed her mussels a lot and they came with decent chips (and a very salty scone type roll). I was a bit disappointed with my pizza. It was perfectly ok but nothing to write home about and it didn't taste woodfire cooked in the same way as some others I've had. It was a pleasant enough meal but wasn't as good as I'd hoped although the other meals looked good and we would be happy to try it again. Perhaps I was looking forward to my pizza too much.

We had a take away pizza on Sunday night from Sutor Creek as we were out sightseeing all day!! It was delicious my husband had the Gregor as its our son's name and I had the Marguereta. On the Monday night we had a meal consisting of butternut squash soup with bread and oatcakes for my husband. I had the sea trout with beetroots, he had the lamb if he could he would have licked the plate it was sooo delicious. I had so much to eat I felt guilty about having a sweet but we had the Elderflower sorbet with meringue and raspberry semifreddo raspberries which we shared and was so lovely and light. I would say if you staying in or around Cromarty its the best place for food in or out. Thank you that was our birthday meal as we both have October birthdays. Wine and beer (local) complimented the food.

There on Sunday night with family. Pizza was the best!! Lovely cosy friendly atmosphere, the waiter and waitress couldnt have done more without being overbearing. Definitely be back!

The food was bloody delicious and the staff where very friendly and efficient. I had the wood pigeon to start. And then a pizza which was very tasty. The desserts where the highlight though. We had chocolate delice and ginger panna cotta. They were sooo good!

Had a wonderful evening at Sutor Creek, Phoebe and the team were warm welcoming and the service was impeccable. The highlight has got to be the most phenomenal dessert- a delicious bramble parfait with a sweet and delightful 2016 Txakoli Uretzi. Highly reccomend :)

Dining at Sutors is always a treat, a unique and very special experience made so in particular by the welcome, the enthusiasm of the staff and their knowledge of the ingredients and food they procure, produce and serve.

Staying in Fortrose and was recommended to go to Sutor Creek, so booked a table as it was a friends birthday.

Delicious pizza and my partner had a huge bowl of mussels which he thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are great, excellent service in a busy place and friendly and knowledgable too. Lovely atmosphere in this place and one we will return to again and again.

We were recommended to go to Sutor creek when in Cromarty and were pleased that we were. The staff were terrific. We stayed 2 nights and ate there both evenings. A different male front of house staff each evening chatted to us and made us feel very welcome. The pizza was excellent and so was the slow roast lamb.They also stock Nanny State alcohol free beer which is great if you are driving.

No trip to Cromartycan be complete without at least one meal at Sutor Creek.

Happened across this wee gem as we looked for a late lunch. Extremely friendly welcome even though we hadn’t booked a table. Menu was perfect, varied and very well priced. The food itself was first class. The best Margarita Pizza I’ve ever had, and my partner’s home made Black Isle Burger was also the best he’d ever eaten. A lovely relaxed experience on a stunning day in Cromarty. The staff, food and ambience make this experience.

First time in Cromarty. A lovely place! This independent, unpretentious restaurant is a must-visit. Small, good location in the town, cafe style, but short restaurant grade- menu. Fantastic fresh mussels and chips. Local craft beers. Delightful staff, service and new pizza oven. Impeccable service. The jugs used can be bought at the local potter’s shop.

Great food nice atmosphere and friendly staff. A real find. My wife loved the langustines so much we went back the next night for a second go and were not disappointed.

On a rainy day in August, and finding that the Cromarty Ferry was not running that day, both opportunity and luck brought us to this amazing restaurant. I had the best fish cakes I have ever eaten and my son is still raving about the pizza. Delightful family run restaurant and we felt blessed when, despite not having a reservation, they found us a table. Anyone visiting the area should not miss the opportunity to eat here, but reservations are recommended. The somewhat bohemic exterior does not do credit to the quality food and service on the inside.

We were lucky to get a table here after a boat trip and we were rewarded with great food. However I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth by the attitude of one of the members of staff (the larger of the two ladies). She was abrupt with other customers who were coming in who had not booked a table, it’s not like you would of expected a place in a small town to be booked up on a Wednesday lunchtime you could forgive them for thinking there maybe space. When it came to paying I had to get my wallet from my vehicle I returned to the doorway to give my wallet to my wife but i was holding my puppy in my arms I was asked to stand outside in the rain whilst she paid taking 30 seconds. This was the icing on the cake for her poor attitude which ruined what was excellent food.

Best mussels we ever had, a fantastic Sutor Pizza & a Sutor Burger of highest quality...the special taste of a perfect pizza oven and grill, most friendly staff and a fresh, inviting and tasteful ambience...a must return!!!

We ate here on Sunday (08/09/19), we had the anti pasta starter which was wholy wonderful , fantastic array on the plater and to finish as a main the seafood pizza had the most amount of seafood topping I have ever had on one pizza .

Managed to get the last table on a Sat night . So pleased we did - the food was excellent . Hubby loved his pizza - I had scallops . We both had desert . Friendly service - heartily recommended .

Family lunch, booked well in advance (we had to). Food excellent with local ingredients, cooked with care and served in style. Small, intimate, with great atmosphere and views. So many people were turned away while we ate. Booking essential in Summer

We’re staying in Cromarty and the cafe was recommended as the best place to eat. We were not disappointed as the pizzas were delicious and huge! We also sampled some garlic bread which was soft and flavoursome. It was all washed down with some local beers. A fantastic meal

Nous avons goûter les moules, vraiment excellentes, même les meilleures que j'ai jamais mangé (par contre elles sont servies seules, des pommes frites auraient été la bienvenue). Et les burgers ont rencontrés également un grand succès.

Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant haben wir das Sutor Creek zunächst augeblendet, weil die schnelle Recherche nur Pizzeria ergab. Nachdem wir feststellten, dass sonst nahezu alle Cafe/Restaurant gegen 17 Uhr schon zu hatten, und wir nicht im Hotel speisen wollten war es zu spät. Ohne Reservierung geht hier nix.

Small, and limited comfort. Service eager to please. Food good to very good. Recommended, and worth the trip. Wine list rather poor. Way from Inverness interesting. Try also western coastal road.
