If you like peppered sauce on your steak you’d be safer bringing your own. The serving is roughly the size of a shot glass and the extra portion is £4.50.

Food was cold and not up to the quality of some other local restaurants. Restaurant is over crowded and with the feel of sardines in a can. Atmosphere not great, with the closeness to other patrons so close I could hear their whole conversations. Staff well mannered but completely run off their feet. Won't be back.

Best dessert I ever had 😋 the sticky toffee baked alaska is without doubt the nicest dish I ever ate it's worth going here just for it. We both had Venison it was excellent 👌 service was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and helpful, cocktails were beautiful and had a good choice Free parking out the back aswel with plenty of spaces, the entrance in is very narrow and can be easily missed but there's loads of room out the back

Superb, fresh and delicious! Party of 8 and everyone loved their menu choices from sticky sesame beef, fish pie, steak brusetta and the raspberry coconut tart... Yum yum!

The food was awesome, but the desert menu is the best I’ve ever seen.

Gorgeous place, it's been about 6 years since I was last here, food was lovely we had all tapas, drinks all good and super helpful friendly staff , lovely atmosphere. Alittle music would top it off 👌🏾

I don't usually offer reviews, but having eaten at the Brewers twice now, I feel compelled to praise the food in this restaurant. I have literally never had better food in Ireland. From the swanky restaurants of south Dublin, to the homely pubs of the West, I've eaten out extensively, and nowhere, literally nowhere, scores so highly for taste, quality of ingredients, sincerity of service and relaxed atmosphere as the Brewers House. I particularly recommend the blade of beef and the shoulder of lamb. Cocktails are fantastic as well. Without doubt, one of this island's hidden gems.

Posting this now although we had our meal on August 5th, 2023. I had to post about the place because oh my god the food was beyond mind-blowing! Everything was cooked to perfection, the staff, the service and the overall ambiance of the place. Worth visiting again and again just to try other things on their mouth-drooling menu! Highly recommend (reservation is required) 🙌🏼😍

Was really looking forward to here but there was little to no flavour of my 2 courses (salted chilli chicken and plaice main). Really unfortunate as I heard so many great reviews

All the food was utterly delicious and all the side dishes as well really recommend the garlic bread and the fish tacos. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. Maybe Im being to generous with 5 stars and its pricey enough not to go every week but would recommend, for sure.

We both opted for the two starter plus side option. Great flavours and presentation, and the dessert "Special of the day was the icing on the cake, only it wasn't icing or cake, but extremely tasty!

Very disappointed with poor staff attitude and communication when tried to make a booking for large number of people. I have eaten many times in this restaurant and food lovely. Staff communication from booking is important first impressions count my experience was poor

Visited with family during a recent return trip to the village; food and service was exceptional and I am already looking forward to a return visit when I’m next visiting. I always eat at the Brewers House when in the area and it has never disappointed.

We visited here recently for our wedding anniversary. This was not our first visit to the Brewers House and based on previous visits we had very high expectations. This time we took our kids (teenager and almost teenager)! The service was excellent. The food was even better. Great choice of dishes. Plenty for everyone to choose from. We all really enjoyed the fantastic food that was served to us. Excellent flavours and portion sizes. I had a few cocktails which were fab. Cannot wait to go back. Highly recommended

Had an absolutely lovely meal here, the staff were wonderful and very accommodating. They made us feel like royalty.

Went to the brewers house last week for the first time and safe to say I will not be back!! On entering the premises I was ‘greeted’ by the rudest manageress I have ever encountered!! I was meeting a group of friends and when I walked in the door I was almost shoved back and told to get back outside as there was someone else in front of me. There was no sign or direction as to what to do when entering the building, and no one to meet and seat you when you did.I was so taken a back.I went back outside and waited. After approximately 10 minutes I walked back in and proceeded to find my own party myself.Food was ok, the restaurant is nice and the younger staff pleasant, however management would definitely need to learn some manners!!

Fabulous three courses and the great manners of our young blonde haired waitress was truly noted. Customer service was brilliant. Food exquisite. A real treat to come here. The baked Alaska was particularly amazing!

Did not see enough Covid 19 preventative measures in place. Main dining room was very crowded-there should be reduced numbers dining at any one time! Stale air-not enough ventilation. No point in staff wearing visors when the dining room is packed! Not enough time between bookings to thoroughly sanitise the tables, chairs and all surfaces. Should be disposable menus!! The wall behind us was covered in flies. Service was slow -everyone seemed to be under pressure. Lovely food but won’t be back.

Went in a party of 20 to a birthday celebration. Group seated in four tables in an L shape corner so social interaction limited in the grouping to those seated beside you. Meal was for 7pm so service was fast and efficient due to another table booking at 9-30pm. Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Sign of a good restaurant is if it was busy and on this Saturday night all the tables downstairs were occupied. Lively restaurant that night. Car parking on the main street or in at the back through the archway on the right of the entrance. Avoid arriving at 7pm on a Saturday evening as the local church empties causing traffic parking problems.

This place has struck a great balance of upmarket food and relaxed atmosphere. Decor is minimalist with a faux fire which adds a level of coziness Booking is recommended especially at weekends.Staff are attentive but not overbearing. Cocktails are fantastic and most are available non alcoholic too which is a big plus for the designated drivers used to virgin daiquiris being the only option in most places Food is fantastic, good portion sizes and a good vegetarian menu (remarkably hard to come by in this area). Cauliflower tempura was excellent. The online menu isn’t the same as in house when we went but still fabulous. The fish selection is really really good. It is evident that every plate that leaves the kitchen is perfect and in a busy restaurant it’s not often that this is the case. Pricing is on the more expensive side of menus but worth it. Seating is a mix of high and low table so be sure to mention if high stools cause an issue when booking but I’m sure that the staff would be more than accommodating either road The restaurant also have the lower house on the other side of the chapel (I believe does accommodation too) which is a lovely local bar with live music at the weekends. On street parking is limited, there is a good size parking to the rear of the restaurant but it’s down a narrow alleyway! Cars do fit down it tho despite the narrow appearance! I am a fan of this place but being a regular visitor I’ve never had a bad experience with service or food. 5/5 from me.

Rude maitre d', mix up with the orders meant hubby got the early bird starter instead of the a la carte main, brought at same time as my main, without the triple cooked chips we ordered, ordering error by the waitress and we were offered free desserts which we didn't take, fish n chips just ok. Place is really cool but our experience would not entice us back - disappointing as we had heard and read so many positive reviews, sorry.

The food service and atmosphere makes you want to go back again and again. It is always packed and no wonder. A hidden gem for sure.

Great atmosphere, cozy fire. Picturesque town. We have been here 3 times, whenever we are visiting family in the area. Beef filet is my favourite.❤

The evening started with us struggling to find a parking space as the restaurant is located on the Main Street of the village but this is not restaurants fault but the location. The restaurant is very well decorated and has a nice cosy and warm feel to the place. The restaurant did have Xmas music playing as it tis the season after all but the music was at a good level that you could still hear it and have a conversation. For starters me and my partner shared the salt & chilli chicken sharer but this was just like getting slightly spicy popcorn chicken from KFC. It also came with a side of coleslaw that was drowned in a bottle of vinegar. For my main I got the steak bruschetta And if your asking what that is, it’s a piece of steak on a slice of Hovis best of both toast. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare but what came out was so rare and cold I reckon a wee bit of CPR I could have brought it back to life and the steak must have been thrown in a bowl of pepper before being put in the pan for ten seconds. One thing good was the triple cooked chips but not enough for me to ever come backOverall it would be a 3 out of 10

Visiting family in Moy we visited Brewers House for lunch also the owner was Australian as we are. Great atmosphere, previously this was our favourite drinking hole. Fabulous food , the best scones in Northern Ireland. Our host surely was an expat making all feel very welcome. Highly recommend stopping by to sample thallium on offer.

Booked at short notice for early Friday evening- was very busy but squeezed us in. Food was good however portions can be small. Was upstairs in the back room and it was very cold.wife & kids kept coats on throughout the meal.

Really tasty food in a lively environment. Well presented , hot and fresh. Had pumpkin and chorizo soup then sea bass . Really enjoyable evening . Staff were attentive but not over bearing . Will definitely return .

I am from the USA. I took a Taxi from Dungannon and back. It was well worth the cost. Pretty waitress, very helpful. Not sure why someone would give a bad review. My meal was very good. When I return to Dungannon I will spend another $20 getting to Brewers House.

This restaurant is easily the best restaurant that we have eaten in over the last decade. The surroundings and ambience are welcoming and understated. Rebecca was the most professional waitress that we have encountered in that period; she was efficient, friendly, non condescending and utterly professional. The food was superb - perfectly executed. A menu constructed to provide for varied tastes. Everywhere was scrupulously clean. The other 5* reviews are totally merited

I am coeliac and the gluten free options were excellent. I could choose from a wide range of options including starters and desserts. Both food and service were of a high standard and very reasonably priced also.

We visited this restaurant when visiting Dungannon, recently for three days. We read about it on Trip adviser and the reviews proved to be very accurate. Great service, interesting menu and excellent meal at a good price. So good we wanted to go back on the third day but no tables available. I am not surprised.

Came here and had 3 courses with my partner. Service was a little slow but we were in no rush. Interior beautiful. Staff could be a little more attentive. Quite expensive for the area.

All family arrived here to celebrate wedding anniversary. Food was unreal as per usual. Melt in your mouth. Some of the menu had run out but probably due to how busy the place is. That's a good sign I suppose. Possible to be best restaurant in Tyrone

Absolutely amazing food from starters right through to desert! So nice and very refreshing to have coeliacs catered for - they went above and beyond to make sure everything was gluten free. Couldn’t recommend it more - Superb value for money!

A colleague leaving our company wanted to go for lunch on his last day & having heard good reviews, I phoned the Brewer's House. While pre-ordering our meal on the phone (due to a tight lunch schedule) I ordered an item from the online menu & I was immediately told "we don't serve that." I stated that said item was on the online menu & I was snapped at by the lady on the other end of the phone, "our menu changes each season" we don't have. No "sorry the menu is out of date" just rudeness, which I believe was all because i pointed out a mistake.

Visiting relatives nearby and stopped in for Sunday lunch. Real treat as the menu and options for Sunday lunch didn't disappoint. Had some usual suspects beef etc but these sounded seriously pimped up. I had roast cod which would have been happy to get on night out. The deserts were fab and home made and modern so great end to meal. One thing I liked on arrival with or 4 year a lady came with a wee juice for her without being asked which was nice. Happy to recommend.

Very disappointing experience. Had been looking forward to getting back to the Brewers but we were sadly disappointed this time around. Landed into a restaurant with a very untidy bar top where we were asked to sit while our table was made ready. We then went to our table to be told that they had ran out of quite a few things on the menu. My husbands food didn't come as described and when we questioned this they said oh we ran out of that,but no1 stated this when they brought the food so that he could have ordered something else. We felt rushed and almost like we were in the way of tidying up. The staff also talked out loud to eachother about how we were complaining when we asked if they could turn down a fan which was blowing cold air straight at us. Disappointed. We aren't picky people just expect good standards when you are paying good money for them....

Have to say everything was great tonight aileen and the girls looked after us so well and food was first class. Great job guys

We were visting the Argory for the day and I had spent a bit of time trying to find a restaurant in the area which caters to gluten free customers. I booked a table after reading the great reviews and we were not disappointed.

Fantastic spot! Great for shooting and fishing paraphernalia and accessories. there is a great selection of art for all tastes. the food village and deli is comprehensive, comprising of tasty treats and beverages representing most of the regions of Scotland.

This place is a bit outside Dungannon but is worth the detour. We stopped off here for a delightful lunch one Saturday. The potted shrimp, calimari and fish and chips were all of a very high standard. Service was fast and friendly too! Recommended.

We had heard good reviews of this pub and we were not disappointed. We were given a warm welcome by the friendly and helpful staff and there was a really good atmosphere about the place. The food was delicious and good value for money, and the service was prompt. What with this and a good selection of wines, beers and spirits what more could one want.

Looking for Sunday lunch on way from Donegsl to Belfast - googled and we thought we’d try Brewer’s House !

Haven't been here for quite some time and thought we would give it another go. Decided on the early bird and we were very pleased. Delicious risotto and fishcake starters with fish tacos and stir-fry to follow finished with lemon tart and really great sticky toffee pudding. We couldn't fault the food and a great choice selection and were very happy indeed. Will be back to eat here again sooner rather than later.

This is an absolutely lovely pub/restaurant which we visited for the first time yesterday. We are now recommending to family and friends! We had a delicious lunch with lovely friendly service. Really nice menu and wine list and reasonably priced. We will definitely come back.

Very good food in Donaghmore-we travelled from Hillsborough and as good as anywhere local or in Belfast. Good alternative to Viscounts or Digbys down that neck of the woods. Friendly staff great menu and stumped for choices of start. Lovely atmosphere. Then Tomneys in the Moy after. Great night.

Best restaurant I’ve ever been. Had sirloin and husband had beef fillet. Everything is just 100% ... delicious deserts and moctails... the staff was very friendly and restaurant itself is very warm and cosy... I would highly recommend it

We made a late booking on our way home which was thankfully quickly confirmed and had a beautiful and very tasty meal, out first as a family here on Sunday. The service was great and the food tasted amazing. My 2 boys raved about how delicious the children's gougons were. They were very obviously fresh made. We'll be back soon.

This is my second visit to The Brewer's House since I had a bad experience there about 3 years ago. On that occasion everyones food was fine, except that my Mussels starter was inedible due to being extremely salty - and I am guilty of liking a bit too much salt at the best of times! I really hate complaining, but when the head waitress asked me was everything ok I mentioned that I couldn't eat it due to it being ridiculously salty. She then actually debated with me about it and refused to accept my complaint. This was very embarrassing for me, and I decided to never go back.

Been a few times and disappointed that the food quality has dropped significantly- very average food and prices which are above average - maybe an off night for the chef but would not be rushing back - service good

One of the nicest places around to eat. Early bird is great quality and keenly priced. Ambience and service is very good. Wide variety of local beers and ales available. Kids menu is very reasonable.

I have been to the restaurant for quite a few meals now and everyone of them has been top class. Would definitely be worth a journey too

Had a really good early bird tea here. Menu was great, good variety and staff were very friendly and efficient. Had the steak bruschetta and Lemon tart and it was delicious. My friend had the mixed berry crumble which was also delicious. Was good value for money too- will definitely come back.

Had an amazing meal and service for my friends 27th birthday! Nicola was very lovely making jokes and got me a surprise cocktail which I LOVED! Had the best time and my rare steak was cooked to perfection thank you chefs! Thanks for a class evening!

Food served on dirty stone slates, which to be honest I found some small hairs on which really put me off my dinner, when you pay these prices you expect the best and this certainly wasn't the best. I thought maybe it was a one off but read the other poor reviews on here and other people are saying similar things. Avoid.

We visited here one Monday evening and ate off the Early Bird Menu. I had the steak bruschetta - it was delicious. The steak melted in my mouth and there was plenty of food on my plate.

Don't like the fish as it don't come with the sauce of red, i mean really it is 2018 goddamit!!) And can we have some seats to sit on please? Thank you!

This a first class retaurant, the staff were fantastic, very friendly and genuinly intrested in why you were there without being obtrusive. The fayre was very good and well presented, however the small niggle was the high price of some very recognisable dishes (i.e,chicken kiev 17.50p , with vegtables extra). Overall though, a very pleasant experience - not a veggie, but have to record that the vegetable curry is outstanding.

Lovely place and great staff. The food was good, super flavours, ideas and combinations. Cost average but will definitely return.

This place has been a firm favourite of mine since it opened. Food is always of top quality and the service although young is usually very professional. Seafood and shellfish feature on the menu and are well worth sampling.

We have heard fabulous reports about the brewers house and everyone I told we were going raved about it so we were really looking forward to our night out. When we arrived we were seated at a table set for 3, there were 4 of us, we sat for a couple of minutes and then were asked to stand outside the door to they pulled 2 tables together. When seated we waiting 15 minutes for our drinks order to be taken.

Bit disappointed with the meal.

me and the wife stopped here on the way to cavan at the weekend, we had read good reviews so thought we'd like to stop somewhere nice for food. We both found it was over priced for the portions, my wife ordered 2 starters , 1 was a monkfish taco that was absolutely tiny for £7.50, she was not impressed, i ordered the winter pie which was basically some bits of chicken and mushroom in water under some puff pasty and a dollop of mash on the side, no veg or gravy etc, i was still hungry after i left and i'm not a big eater at all, definately won't be back but still left a tip as i'm sure it wasn't the girl who served us fault and i didn't want to be one of those peopel moaning and causing a scene.

We were visiting the area with a group of clients and colleagues from work. We were all mainly from the London area or around the London area. The service here is excellent ! The food was magnificent also! I had the sea bass which was perfectly cooked and presented. Great quality and great service overall.
