We came across this fabulous little cafe whilst out walking. As soon as you walk in the door, you are made to feel welcome (and dogs are welcome too!) The menu is simple, but there is something for everyone. We had luxury hot chocolates (which were absolutely amazing), paninis, and finished off with some coffee and walnut cake. The only thing to warn you about is how busy it is! People were being turned away as there were no tables. So make sure you plan your trip wisely. It’s definitely worth the visit!

Having enjoyed our meal when we were last holidaying in the area, we decided to return to the Corner House, but this time with black lab puppy in tow. And what a good decision it was again: lovely welcome and service, dog-friendly (of course), delicious and fairly-priced soup and sausage sandwich and a general feeling of satisfaction from fellow diners. Thank you to all staff concerned.

We were lured into this little cafe by its kerb appeal, noticed it was pet friendly, knowing that we had Kevin ( our very reactive papillon) figured we would see how it went before committing to take a seat, the staff were so patient with us and kev , what a great little welcoming cafe, we enjoyed a latte, a belgium hot chocolate, served as hot milk with a great cube of chocolate that you stirred in yourself, very novel and tasty and a lovely warm fruit scone with a cute sculptured rose in butter, just added to the tweeness of this very cute cafe 😇🙏😍

Stopped here for some food after a long walk. We were lucky it wasn't too busy when we arrived and got a nice table outside. Good menu of lots of different foods. I got the special burger which came with smoked cheese, bacon and onion rings. The bun was really good and the bacon was super crispy (as I had requested). The meat itself was ok but didn't taste very beefy. If you'd told me it was made with chicken mince I would have believed it. Texture and taste was nice though, just not like any other beef burger I've had before. The chips were very nice though. Good portion and perfectly cooked. My wife got the chip butty. 2 big pieces of really lovely fresh thick bread with loads of chips inside. I also got an Iced latte which was really good. Service was very nice and friendly and we really enjoyed our meal. Would definitely come again next time we're in the area.

We called in here for drinks and cake and my goodness the cakes were amazing. My daughter said her hot chocolate was one of the best she had had. It came with a Belgian chocolate stick that you stirred into the hot milk which melted to create a gorgeous hot chocolate, genius. It is very dog friendly too. Only negative was the waitress just dumped the tray down on the table rather than handing the drinks to us. I’m sure we will be back as I want more of those cakes.

We love the toast here so decided to come back and "upgrade" to bacon sandwiches. They come in thick bloomer bread (white or granary) and a pot of sauce (brown, tomato, mustard mayo) on the side. Delicious, with lashings of real butter. Americano with extra shot to wash it down. Would thoroughly recommend. Service is great and really friendly. MORE AT TripAdvisor

This is my second time reviewing this wonderful cafe (various different incarnations of my family have visited here several times over the years) and we have been wowed on every occasion. As usual, we had walked 4 miles from Burnsall to Grassington along the stunning River Wharfe and were ready for a good tuck in. We usually sit outside at the Corner House but the weather was unpredictable so we decided to sit in. Sadly, there were no immediate tables available but within a few minutes, a member of staff who had promised to give us first dibs on an available table came to grab us and we were seated in the comfortable side room. All 4 of us decided we wanted the homemade cheeseburgers, a pot of tea for three and a flat white for my sister, so I placed my order at the till and was served by such a lovely member of staff (I wish I'd taken a name but blonde curls, perfectly straight teeth, very smiley, impeccable manners - hope that narrows it down if the manager is reading this!!). What I love about this cafe is that when you order food, they immediately manage your expectations by explaining that it's a small kitchen so there will be a wait for food as everything is cooked fresh. This is crucial, as it gives the opportunity for people in a rush to go elsewhere and people like us who are happy to relax and refuel before the return leg of our walk to just look forward to our meal - good things come to those who wait after all!The wait can't have been more than 25/30 minutes. In the meantime, the same member of staff that took my order actually came and apologised for the wait and asked if we wanted complimentary drinks (we declined). I thought this was a lovely touch but was completely unrequired as we'd already been told there was a wait and we had no complaints whatsoever. The generous pot of tea ensured we had 2/3 cups of tea each while we were relaxing and chatting, my sister said her flat white was delicious and one of the best she'd had in a long time. There was also a large vessel of tap water on the table to keep us all hydrated - we were certainly being looked after! When the savoury, moreish cheeseburgers arrived, we were of course delighted to see that the creamy purple coleslaw was still part of the garnish. The fries were absolutely delicious, crisp on the outside, fluffy and white in the middle and piping hot. A pot of ketchup completed the dish and some of us asked for a pot of mayo which was brought quickly. As a reminder, this meal was had during the COVID pandemic and all staff were wearing visors, social distancing guidelines were being followed and there was hand sanitiser freely available. The bill came to £43.10 which for 4 very full and happy adults was an absolute bargainI'm sure there are other lovely places to eat in Grassington but for my family, there is only one place we're interested in visiting and that's the Corner House Cafe.Well done to chef, management and all staff and keep up the great work!

Lovely quaint little cafe serving really interesting food, cakes and drinks. They accommodated our family of four comfortably in the rather small rooms. Loved the lamb hotpot and the soup and bread was nicely done. The little people menu was nicely thought out. Well worth a visit !

We visited this beautiful cafe today and were extremely happy to see a familiar face working in the establishment. Lovely enza was a delight as usual, fast service and a beautiful smile. The food was exquisite and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Went here for breakfast and what an excellent veggie breakfast it was, a hearty plate full, piping hot and great quality food. Definitely a place to visit before or after a long walk.

Myself, my husband and our 2 friends visited over the weekend, the cafe was busy, the staff were very helpful to accommodate us with our dogs. Great selection of homemade foods. We had the cheese on toast, which was to die for ( never thought I’d say that about cheese on toast)!! And home made soup which was also devine. This place is a must if you are in Grassington. The staff were amazing the service was excellent and the attention to detail was incredible. We will definitely be back!!

We managed to grab a table during the 1940s weekend and it was an excellent light lunch. How exciting can a sausage sandwich be? Quite a bit, it turns out. Though given they're in the Dales, the quality of the ingredients are not so surprising I guess. Staff were run off the feet as it's very popular but were always keen to help.

Fantastic establishment- lovely friendly staff. We called in for lunch and had the soup, which was obviously home made and delicious, served with gorgeous fresh bread. The attention to detail is fantastic, and presentation is first class. The burgers are delicious, as is the cheese on toast and soup. Basic food served with a twist of real quality!

Visited with my wife on a drive out. Weather miserable but well worth the effort. The good is all home cooked and is delicious. I had the leek and potato soup with smoked Wensleydale cheese. I could have eaten a dustbin full it was so tasty, served with beautiful soft and crusty bread. I followed it with a sausage sandwich. Plenty of sausage in crusty bread. My wade also had the soup followed by cheese and mushroom on toast served with a side salad. Everything was presented very well. The cafe is bijou and frequented by walkers and visitors to the village. Staff were friendly and helpful

A simple panini was transformed by the most beautifully presented side salad ever! Staff are lovely and work really well as a team. Dog friendly and great location at top of Grassington main square. One of my favourite stops after a walk in the Dales.

Lunch at this small cafe. Service was a little slow but given that it was the 40s weekend, not surprising. Staff joining in with the theme with uniforms. Bacon sandwich on large sliced bloomer loaf. Scones excellent with plenty of jam and cream. Coffees hot. Very nice.
