Was very peaceful in the restaurant and cosy with the stove. Nice selection of food for adults and children alike and you won't find better value for this kind of dining experience.

This was my first time out here with my mother, young daughter and mother-in-law and I was absolutely blown away with the service the quality of food and how they interacted with my daughter. It is great value for money. The food was delicious and arrived quick. The staff are so kind, friendly and welcoming. It’s very cosy as we were sitting in front of the fire and its was so toasted. Couldn’t fault it at all and I can’t wait to be back😊

This was our 1st visit to this fantastic eatery. Not going to lie I needed the sat nav to find the place!! Sooo worth it. There's a lovely dinning room at the front and bar at the back with comfortable seating and a warm fire! We ate in the cosy bar beside the fire. We were dealt with by a lovely lady and another staff member. Such a warm welcome and great customer service. The main & puddings both delicious, very generous portion size and pints only £4.40! The food is also very reasonable priced. A hidden gem. Can't wait to go back again now we know where it is! 👍😀

It was my fathers surprise 91st birthday party and what a truly lovely experience it was too! The staff are amazing and so caring and professional! A special mention for Roberta and Erin who made it even more lovely with their care and attention. It was a party of 11 but the service went very smoothly and efficiently. The food is excellent and reasonable. We will always come back on our return to Armoy. Our parents live in the village and lunch there most weeks. Excellent evening a huge thank you to the team!!!

An absolute gem of a place. Decor is beautiful - Xmas trees and lights - so well done. We had lunch, I had chicken goujons with skinny chips and a sweet chilli dip. They were massive and so filling that I had to take a doggy bag home. Staff were so nice - nothing was a problem to them. :)

Ordered starters which where lovely then onto the main ordered scenic burger in which the beef was off, my partner had chilli beef pita which looked like a soup in bread,a lot staff about and didnt come to check on us once,when asked for bill bar man asked was everything ok in which my reply was that the burger was soured and his reply did you not say to anyone but no one come check on us and he just looked never spoke no one,payed the bill and left won’t be back been hearing great reports for years alway wanted to try, we left disappointed

Amazing food in a cozy hideaway.

Yesterday (Oct31st) we were on the road since 11am and came to be near the Scenic Inn while driving up from County Dublin to Dunluce Castle... It's one of those places that has "regulars" and rarely gets visitors... The Parking-lot is big and clean; LISA was amazing, kind and sweet, very professional and caring. The food was very good and the Pub is just like one found in books and movies... They have a dining hall at the front and going a lil further u'll find the Pub area...I recommend sitting there and just absorbing the atmosphere around u ~ Thanks again Lisa for being soo kind to us😊

4 adults and 2 kids. We were Sat down immediately we got into pub. Drinks order taken quickly. Food order taken as soon as we put menus down . Food quality was excellent as per usual. 2 kids ordered juice. One wanted it changed after they came. No problem. Kids dinner came and one wanted beans added. No issue to staff. Customer service was first class. Our daughter in law from England loved the place and said how friendly staff were.

We stopped by on our way from the Giant's Causeway back to Belfast. The food was great and Lisa was very nice. 😊

Fantastic food at low prices. Been going for years and never had a bad meal yet

A friend and I went for lunch today, we waited a hour for our food and others round us were getting theres. It finally came and it was lovely, the lady came about 30 minutes after we had finished to clear our table. She didn't ask us if we wanted anything else or to see the sweet menu, We sat on another 20 minutes and no one came back to us so we had sat long enough so we went through to pay the bill. We were disappointed on our visit today, for the scenic-inn was a place we had been many times before, years in. fact.

Excellent meal this evening. The waiting staff were superb, as I am on a vegan based healthy eating plan and I don't eat white rice, I had a beautiful salad in its place,( staff actually checked if i was a vegan to ensure my salad was suitable), which wasn't on the menu. I can't praise this restaurant enough. The staff are attentive but not entrusive, service excellent, and prices realistic.

Lovely friendly staff and food was scrumptious with reasonable prices. A bit stuffy in the dining area even we opened the window, overall it's a nice place to eat ☺️

Wir haben hier sehr, sehr gut gegessen zu einem super Preis. Auch die Sonderwünsche der Kinder waren kein Problem oder veganes / vegetarisches Essen. Das Personal war ebenfalls top, immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können es nur absolut weiterempfehlen!

What a lovely place to eat. Nice surroundings, lovely helpful staff. Went for dinner on recommendation from our campsite owner who phoned to check availability. Good variety on the menu. We had starter and main and were unfortunately too stuffed for pudding :-( Very good value for money!

Followed the very good reviews on Tripadvisor and wasn’t disappointed. Didn’t fancy cooking on the first evening of our stay and the 3 of us really enjoyed our food. I would describe it as excellent no nonsense food, my mother-in-law said it was the best scampi she’d ever had! Highly recommend and clearly is popular with the locals too which is telling.

We lucked upon the Scenic Inn the other day on the way back from Ballycastle, with two hungry kids in the car and a load of gurning. We arrived and they were very welcoming. Went through to the restaurant where the service was great, kids meals well priced and two happy kids with the tuck shop desserts. Our meals were also very reasonably priced and good quality. The staff were super friendly and gave us towels to dry the play equipment outside after a downpour of rain. A great stop if you have kids, really impressed with the service and food. We'll be back!

Siguiendo las reseñas anteriores y como estábamos por la zona, hemos decidido venir y ha sido perfecto. Hemos comido fenomenal, todo buenísimo, raciones con cantidad y calidad, además con un trato estupendo. Totalmente recomendable salirse de la carretera costera y venir a probar esta comida.

Busy spot. Great food and service.

It was lovely. However, my meal was selected because there was no peas in it on the menu. I found a pea in my meal and could not eat half of my meal as the pea and anything it touched needed to be removed from my plate. This could have caused me to have a severe reaction if I had not seen it in time. The Consumer Rights Act also applies to food, so restaurant customers can expect food to be of a 'satisfactory quality' and to match the menu description which my food did not. Everything else was perfect.

Nice hidden away local pub. Pretty good burger and fine pasta. Oh and can't forget the stout. I would return for round two if nearby.

Went to this lovely place for my nephew's 18th birthday today, the whole experience was wonderful, my meal was absolutely delicious, I had chicken curry with rice and naan bread and sticky toffee pudding, nicest meal I've had out in a long time, they even surprised us by playing happy birthday when they brought out my nephew's dessert which was a lovely jesture as no one had told them it was his birthday they must have overheard, I thought that was so kind, would highly recommend

The food was really really good, our table was right next to front door and it was a cold with every customer that come in through the door.

OMG! An absolute gem of a find. Let down by original restaurant, we took a chance on the Scenic Inn. So glad we did. There has been an addition to the premises from the photo on their website and this has maybe reduced the parking but we got in grand. The entrance way has a wheelchair ramp, so inclusive of all mobilities. The added space was large, well laid out with a lovely stove, which was burning delightfully, making the room toasty and warm. It was needed, we went 22 March and the weather was pants outside. The staff were very warm and welcoming, attentive and friendly. The menu was extensive and also had an early bird menu, which we all picked from. Two courses for £17? How could you beat that! The food was to die for. I had the chicken goujons and garlic chips. The batter was so light and crispy and the chicken succulent, it was like biting thru butter, they were that soft! The cod goujons were the same, plenty of fish and batter amazing. I got the cheesecake and it was heavenly, the plate well decorated and got some icecream too! Had a wee look about and in the original part of the building, it was packed too! The area was clean and bright, plenty of seating and a pool table if you so desired it’s use. The toilets were immaculate, always another good sign of a great establishment. The only downside is that it’s not my local, I’d just love to be able to go there when I wanted, but we were staying in a hotel in Limavady and this was a wee break away from 3 bereavements. Too far from Newtownards for a meal but if we’re ever in the vicinity again, we’ll be back, wild horses wouldn’t keep us away. Just a pity I can only give it 5 stars, it’s worth at least 7 stars compared to other eateries we’ve used

Really good food, really reasonably priced!

Excellent food and service. The staff are always so attentive, friendly and helpful. They are a credit to the business. Food was first class as usual. Wide choice of main courses with good variety and starters tempting too. We didn’t even look at the dessert menu as we didn’t have room for any more! They surprised me by singing happy birthday and presenting me with a chocolate brownie with a candle. Highly recommend The Scenic Inn for well presented dishes of well cooked tasty food. For main courses I had the scampi which is the best I’ve eaten anywhere, a very light but crunchy batter which melts in the mouth. My husband had the honey sweet chilli chicken which had a bit of spicy bite and was a huge portion which he didn’t manage to finish so he had to bring some home!

The scenic was lovely food and the service was great. I rang and booked a table not knowing that we were being put in the bar yes I no it's a bar but it would if been nice to sit in the restaurant

Was in here for my cousins 18th bday on a Saturday night food was great staff where really friendly and after 10 o'clock there was a dj playing some really good tunes . Would highly recommend 👌

22 of us at our sons 18th birthday. From walking in at 6.30pm to leaving at midnight the service was second to none. Food was fantastic and waitresses couldn't do enough for our tables. Couple of slight issues with our pre ordering but staff sorted it out brilliantly. There was a DJ on later in evening. With a few older people in party we were happy that we were allowed to sit in restaurant and continue our evening without being asked to move into bar area. Visitors from Glasgow loved the place and couldn't believe how friendly everyone were.

Wonderful, attentive staff. There when we needed them but didn’t hover. The food was delicious! I’m so used to restaurants keeping their dining areas slightly cool. This restaurant is warm, relaxing, and cozy. It was a delight to be able to relax from our walk through the Hedges and out to the Giants Causeway.

The food was absolutely beautiful. I had sizzling peppered chicken, chicken was tender and presentation was amazing. Good homely feeling and staff were very attentive. Will definitely be back!

I'll mention that its best to ring and book ahead because this place is popular because its so good! The food is amazing and the staff are really pleasant. If you havent been there then you are missing out.

10/10 for quality of food, portion size and really friendly staff. Great menu, so much to chose from and in great surrounding especially in these difficult Covid times, plenty of space between tables but still with a great atmosphere. We will certainly be back shortly.

We as a family love the Scenic Inn, we have ate here for years and it never disappoints. Excellent covid set up, the new outdoor marquee is amazing, spacious and very welcoming. We have been here twice for lunch in August and we are going again next week for an evening meal. Food is always fantastic, brilliant selection on the menu and never disappoints. The staff here are so friendly and helpful, nothing is a bother and it is lovely to see friendly faces when dining out.. well done Scenic Inn, definitely our number one place to eat out.

Absolutely love the food here! Dinner tonight was once again great. I meant to review a few weeks ago when lockdown meant they could reopen. We had lunch then and dinner tonight. .The food , service and ambience makes the scenic a favourite and worth the 90minute round trip. .Thank you.

So delighted to be able to recommend this place where you can be reassured about your Covid safety. New extension area for eating had table well spaced out with lovely patio heaters plus was draped so it appeared warm and relaxed and didn't feel like an outside space. Staff were efficient, busy, busy but still had time for little chats and comments with customers as well as warm interactions with each other. They were meticulous about wiping each menu carefully, and each table and chair before new customers were seated, and all were wearing masks. Toilets were clean and sanitisers well placed. Food was good and we will be back. Thank you for a lovely lunch experience Scenic Inn and that's not just because we were dining on the Eat Out to Help Out money off deal!!

After a beautiful family meal on Sunday I thought I would leave a review,8 happy adults and 2 happy kids We have been to the Scenic Inn numerous times and this place never fails, all menus top class. Food is amazing, beautiful setting and so cosy and homely inside. Staff are fantastic, so friendly attentive and welcoming, Shirley a real credit to you all. Sunday lunch is so reasonably priced and the portions are massive!! Great food Great Service & overall a Great place. Definitely need to book if going to the Scenic Inn. It never disappoints the Scenic Inn.Our meals were surperb .Our waiteres were so attentive and great knowledge of the menus. If you want a great meal go to the Scenic. You won't be disappointed. I give it 5 stars out of 5.
