This café is the best we have ever visited. Everything is homemade ache absolutely delicious. We had sublime soup and couldn't choose which cake to have so had 6 small pieces to try them all! The owner is incredibly friendly and so welcoming. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Absolutely fantastic.

This was my 1st visit. My friend took me as she had lovely creamy cakes last time. Today's cakes were all made with fruit. Apple with almonds, plum with dark chocolate drizzle, rhubarb with crumble topping and mixed fruit with crumb top. As we couldn't choose Mirka suggested that we could have a taste of all 4! Impossible to pick a favourite. All were delicious and homemade by Mirka to traditional Polish recipes. A little gem with a big hearted owner!

I live in Dumfries and didn't know about this amazing cafe. I will certainly be going back often. The owner is a lovely Polish lady (she was sooooo nice) and makes all the cakes herself. We couldn't decide what to have so took home a slice of the 6 cakes she had on offer. The baked cheesecake was to die for and the apple and cinnamon, the best I have ever eaten. If you come to Dumfries make your stay memorable by visiting and eating cake and the coffee was delicious, much better than your branded cafe.

What better place to review - the first in 2 years! Yes, this delightful little cafe tucked away in the back streets of Dumfries was quite a find (Trip Advisor recommended). The mine host is simply lovely and couldn’t be friendlier. Her tomato soup was simply delicious but the real star of the show is her choice of indulgent cakes. If we’re in the area again we’ll be sure to pay another visit!

We visited this 'homely' cafe last Friday morning, as was looking for parking to visit Dumfries, which we found a bit of a nightmare with the disc parking system. We needed to find a loo and followed signs but couldn't find any. However we stumbled on Your Sweet Home and was welcomed by Mirka. We stayed for coffee & homemade cake - we had the plum cake and ended up buying another 2 pieces to take away with the addition of the apple & cinnamon cake, delicious! If ever we are in the area again, we would definitely call in for a tasty treat.

Best café we have ever been to. Everything homemade. Beautiful cream of beetroot soup (the best soup I've ever had), cheese and onion toasty, and a lot of cake, all of which was delicious. We were quite greedy so tried a few: chocolate sponge layers with chocolate ganache / featherlight sponge topped with coconut cream and toasted coconut / warm plum and almond sponge / rhubarb crumble cake / more featherlight sponge topped with cheesecake cream, fresh berries and fruity jelly. Delicious coffee too and the owner is absolutely lovely, so welcoming and friendly. Such care and attention to detail. Bought a piece of rhubarb crumble cake to take away too, which was beautifully wrapped. Will definitely return. Astounding find.

We popped in for a quick lunch and were made very welcome. The cafe is small but has a friendly atmosphere which is all down to the efforts of the owner who greeted us personally. The menu is small but ideal for lunch offering soup and a selection of sandwiches and toasties, however the range of home made baking is excellent and very original. Everything is priced at very reasonable levels. Certainly worth a visit in preference to larger cafes if you're looking for a home cooked snack lunch, served in a welcoming, friendly and personal way.

Dropped into 'Your Sweet Home' simply while passing, although it is tucked away - near DG! complex. From the outside it looked so fresh and welcoming. We were warmly greeted by the owner, Mirka, and once we'd chosen our Saturday treat from her "difficult-which-one-to choose-from" range of home-made cakes we sat down at one of the attractive little tables. Mirka is so cheerful you can't help but feel better simply by being there! Our coffees were served in 'vintage' style cups, with a saucer, and the cakes so attractively presented; my apple cake was nicely warmed and my husband's tiramisu very yummy! Well done, Mirka, in providing Dumfries with such a lovely tearoom!

we had seen this café on Facebook and had been tempted by the pictures of the scrummy looking cakes.....we completely didn't expect the interior, truly unique, but lovely!! when your sitting down inside surrounded by delicious smells and carefully chosen knick knacks, the interior makes you feel like you are abroad somewhere!from the 'grass' flooring to the kitchen made to look like a hut, even to the pretty decorations in the toilet!! the owner was wonderfulwelcoming and constantly smiling, she made myself,a friend and my two kids feel so very welcome, she took the time to help us decide which delicious cake we would like to try-and there were plenty to choose from! she was interacting with us,we even discovered her talent as an occasion cake maker!! the cakes were absolutely scrumptious, they were combinations perhaps we hadn't heard of but the looks and smells made you wanna try them all! absolutely delicious!! we discovered hot lunch options were also available,we will definitely be returning to make our way through the list of cakes, and to have lunch!!! highly recommended ;) xx

Popped in for tea and scones (had heard they were nom-tastic) and was NOT disappointed. Fantastic scones, superb individual pots of tea and really relaxing and helpful staff. Will definitely be going
