10/12/2016: I love Adams. I like eating, and fine dining. For me, Adams trumps similar establishments such as the Ledbury, Alimentum, Dinner (by a country mile), Manoir aux Quat Saisons, Midsummer House (close, though). As previously, the food varies from magnificent to the sublime-that wonderful moment in eating when the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. The sommelier was wonderful and fun, and individually the waiters and waitresses were lovely. But at the end of each course on the taster menu there was a little bit of ceremony where two waiters stood by the empty plates and whisked them away, in tandem. But I don't want that kind of ceremony, and more, I don't want to feel rushed, as I did. If one is spending over a hundred pounds on a meal, it has to be luxurious, delice and not hurried. Still 5 stars mind, as food is wow.
17/08/2016: Another wonderful experience at Adam's. The little touches such as an anniversary card on the table when we arrived signed by Adam and the team. The food is exceptional, Adam's team are tentative and knowledgeable about the food and wine. Stunning restaurant.

L'amuse Bouche Restaurant

Priory, Malvern Hills
19/03/2017: Have eaten here before for dinner. Decided that as our anniversary was a Sunday then lunch would be a good idea and knew Sunday lunch is a destination here. It was not disappointing. Our table was beautifully dressed and made us feel very special. Lunch exceeded expectation based on previous dinners and we came away knowing we had made the right choice. Thank you to all.
17/03/2017: After 30 years living in Malvern, my wife and I went here for the first time this evening. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the Cotford did not disappoint. Its local reputation for fine food and excellent service is well deserved. On arrival, we were welcomed, shown into the lounge, and provided with drinks, nibbles and menus. After we had ordered we were taken to our table and served with a delightful amuse bouche (well, they would, given the name of the restaurant). Like everything that followed, it was flavoursome, very well presented, and had original touches that brought out the best of the very fresh ingredients. A selection of breads followed, still hot from the oven. The ensuing three-course meal was memorable: highlights included my soufflé starter, the Herefordshire beef main (that we both had) and the pot au chocolate. I am no chocoholic, but the balancing of flavours and textures in this chocolate confection was very accomplished. For various reasons, neither of us could drink much alcohol, so it was good to find half a dozen or so decent wines available by the glass (small, medium or large). Our young waitresses had been well trained. They didn't miss anything and their manner was well judged, being neither over-formal or over-familiar. It was good, too, to not be asked if everything was OK every thirty seconds.Overall, this was a great evening and, even if the bill was a little more than we would usually pay, excellent value for money. We will visit again.

Pundits Fusion

Upton and Hanley, Malvern Hills, 30-45£
17/03/2017: I had Madrasi tilapia fish which was a delicious 5* and my wife had chicken byriana 4*. Service is quick and friendly esp considering how busy they were. I know they won't want to mess with a winning formula but I think they could be even more adventurous and modern e.g. There is no proper vegitarian special and the portions are takeaway large. My fish was a big helping of fish and sauce with a bit of onion and green pepper. I would have liked a side vegetable dish but it would have been too much foodAll in all recommended.
13/03/2017: Lovely food, always a warm welcome from everyone defiantly worth a visit, i would recommend going !!!

Ladywood, Birmingham
15/03/2017: Went there for my 50th birthday. The menus had an excellent selection to choose from. The food was amazing, and all the staff were wonderful. Would definitely recommend to everyone. The whole experience from when we walked through the door to when we left was unforgettable. Love this place loads.
14/03/2017: We turned up on a Tuesday night while in Birmingham in the hope of getting a table and luckily they managed to fit us in . We chose the 4 course special set menu which is just £40 each and available Tuesday to Thursday evening . They also have a 6 course tasting menu as well as a mega 9 course tasting menu . First they brought us the most beautiful tasting fresh bread that I have ever eaten ( and we have eaten everywhere ) with a freshness and airiness that I have seldom tasted . This was followed by some nibbles before moving onto the archichoke starter ,followed by a beautiful cod dish that melted in the mouth . The main course was Peeking duck which was cooked to perfection with amazing accompanying flavours including lemon grass . The meal was rounded off with a rhubarb and apple deconstructed crumble which went down very well The restuarant has had a face lift since the last time we were there some years back and now has a semi modern bohemian feeling to it that feels more current than the old decor . I am a fan of tables with white table cloths , I feel that it always makes the table look special ,excentuates the colours of the food and sets it aside from the many bistros or gastro pubs that have popped up everywhere and is something I would recommend they due here instead of the bare wooden square tables they had in the restaurant . There is a nice bar area with funky seats and the walk to the loos is through a long corridor with the sound of chirping birds giving the feeling that you are walking through a forest . The kitchen is visible from parts of the restaurant behind glass windows and you should request a seat with a view if you would like to watch them at work while you enjoy the fruits of their labour . It was a delightful experience all round but the star of the show were the amazing tastes of the dishes served up by the experienced serving staff .Mindpeace

The Olive Tree

Cheadle West, Staffordshire Moorlands, <20£
16/03/2017: My husband and I ate here on 5th November 2016. It is a lovely cosy restaurant with warm and welcoming hosts. The food was delicious. They have amazing tapas dishes that I was not familiar with before. Just delicious. The price was good too. I'm not local to the area but if I was then this would become a regular restaurant of mine.
15/03/2017: Absolutely obsessed with this place, the food is amazing, best tapas ive ever had! Would recommend the paella, and the pork bites , love the breads with dipping oils too

No 3 Restaurant & Bar

Ross-on-Wye East, Herefordshire, County of
19/03/2017: Three of us went for lunch Saturday and each of us enjoyed the experience immensely. We pre-booked table and the customer service over the phone was brilliant- especially as we had changed our times and day once. The service was faultless and food beautifully prepared cooked presented and served. I have been meaning to visit for some time and will definitely be going back. The owner made a real effort with everyone in the restaurant giving them a warm welcome and the waitress was attentive and polite. The place looks lovely throughout and everything I have heard had been so positive and I can see why. We had arrived a little earlier with a cake as a surprise to our friend which was kindly hidden for us. It was brought to us at the right time complete with an amazing indoor firework type candle which we were not expecting but were very happy with.We had olives, flat breads and soups to start, then I had the vegetarian option (which is pictured) my daughter had the chicken and chips and my friend a gourmet burger - all of which we liked. The aristan breads were particularly lovely. We asked to swap the greens for a salad and had an extra side of something not on the menu all of which was not a problem and all attention to detail was brilliant. An enjoyable visit. Definitely worth a visit to any resident and tourist alike.
18/03/2017: Had a lovely lunch here, excellent burger, then had dinner. A very busy restaurant, but staff managed well. Good service. Good steak. The sea bream was very good and I didn't want what it came with, and they were more than happy to adjust the dish. Delicious.

Venture In

Ombersley, Wychavon
12/03/2017: This is a very small - but perfect - restaurant. There is a very calm atmosphere; the staff are extremely helpful and very professional. There was a short wait for the food but, as it is all freshly prepared, this is to be expected - and the delicious amuse bouche provided by the attentive staff were very welcome. The meals were absolutely wonderful; beautifully presented and totally delicious. An absolute treat.
05/03/2017: My wife's birthday was the excuse to visit the Venture In for the first time in many years - and we left wondering why? OK it is not the cheapest place to eat, but it is certainly well worth the cost - particularly for a special treat. The food is wonderful - from the hors d'oeuvres to the petit fours. I had the beef main course - and ate as slowly as I could to maximise the experience of the melting blade of beef and the delicous fillet steak. My wife loves duck and had the dish that served it in three or was it four guises. The staff make you feel very comfortable and we were not hurried, so we fext very relaxed. An exceptional experience.

Shabab Balti & Tandoori Restaurant

Cannock South, Cannock Chase
16/03/2017: Without a doubt my favourite place to eat now. A lot of other Restaurants could learn so much from the Shabab. The consistency is amazing, I would forgive any place for the odd mistake but this place is perfect every time. I'm just having my doggy bag for lunch and the flavours are wonderful even after coming out of the microwave. Not sure if my colleagues agree with the smell of garlic and curry at lunchtime, well I'm enjoying it.
02/03/2017: I have been to this restaurant a few times and have never ever had reason to find fault with anything. The staff are very friendly and seem to bend over backwards to satisfy their customers. The food is very good, especially the balti dishes and the portions are generous.

The Opposition Bistro

Stratford Guild and Hathaway, Stratford-on-Avon, 45-60£
19/03/2017: My friend and I had a great meal here on Friday 17th March. Lovely cosy atmosphere , friendly efficient service and very good food.
13/03/2017: Love this place. Don't get there often enough but when we do it is always tasty. Great menu, friendly staff and love atmosphere!

La Dolce Vita

Quarry and Coton Hill, Shropshire, 30-45£
13/03/2017: Another 5* meal at La Dolce Vita.It consistently produces great modern Italian food, never lets you down. So if you want to know you will get great food, and be well looked after it is the place to go in Shrewsbury.
13/03/2017: Small restaurant with a big reputation, couldn't fault it, will definitely return again The imagination of the menu is incredible, so we really must try the rest of the menu!

Tailors Restaurant

Warwick West, Warwick
18/03/2017: Had an impromptu lunch at Tailors today and it was wonderful. We both had the broccoli soup to start and along with the home cooked bread and BACON butter it was a brilliant starter.I had the venison pasta - which was sweet and tasty yet light - my wife had the fillet steak and chips, which made me wonder if I'd missed a trick (briefly) - it was equally excellent, as I've always found the steaks to be here.Having enjoyed both courses so much, desert was a no brainier and thank god - it was the best course. We both had the almond tart with rhubarb jam and it was astonishing. Still the best place to eat in Warwick - the service is second to none and the food beyond belief for the price.Lunch is a great time to go because it's a really good deal for top quality food - £17 for 2 courses is a bargain for the quality.
12/03/2017: Tailors is a small restaurant in the centre or Warwick. Our meal was of excellent quality and very well presented. It was served to us by friendly staff who took the time to introduce themselves and also told us who the chefs were that night. Each course was served with a verbal description of what we were about to eat and this gave us the impression that the chef and the staff had passion for the food they were preparing and serving to their customers. The restaurant is well worth a visit.

The Green Cafe

Ludlow North, Shropshire
17/03/2017: My husband and I visited this eating healthy resturant however, we do love our meat and our chips. Unfortunately, if you want a rib sticking meal this is not the place for you. If you like your salads, meatless pasta and eating healthy this place is wonderful..I had the main course omelete with a salad and my huband had the tomato pasta. Very tasty but not enough, we came out and went and had something else to eat as we were still hungry. The food is quite expensive for what it is,£7-£9 for a main and they are quite small portions, but it is worth a visit as it is such a lovely spot by the river. The other thing is that being a diabetic there weren't any cold drinks that were diet,
17/03/2017: Never had soup like it! We just wanted a light snack at lunch time and happened to find this place. Most of the tables were booked but we said we only wanted soup so were offered a table that wasn't needed for 30 minutes. We gladly accepted that offer as all the food coming out (it was only 12.15) look delicious. The soup we chose was red lentil, cauliflower soup with fresh cumin, chilli and coriander with walnuts and onion, served with sourdough bread and butter. Everything on the menu was imaginative and judging by the number of people there and arriving, all the food must be as excellent as our soup. The staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient and we hope to go back again sometime. Beautiful position in the shadow of the castle and right next to the river.

The Moody Cow

Old Gore, Herefordshire, County of, >100£
18/03/2017: We had the most excellent dinner here. If we lived here I would eat here all the time. Excellent friendly and helpful staff, fantastic service. Brilliant selection of food and wine. The hake was very good, with a lovely selection of veg. Husband had the fillet steak, this looked wonderful, and was very good. Nice cheese and biscuits well presented, and you could choose your cheese. Very nice panna cotta.
17/03/2017: Fantastic food, charming hosts. The best Bread and Butter pudding ever tasted and an amazing Moody Cow Sundae - delicious!

Abbey, Nuneaton and Bedworth
15/03/2017: Excellent Sunday lunch.think about taking the lovely desert home as the portions are generous . Quality food at realistic prices. Graham
13/03/2017: The food and service here is fabulous. I just wish it still opened for meals at lunch time.I have eaten here numerous times and have always enjoyed the experience

The Red Lion-Long Compton

Brailes, Stratford-on-Avon
05/03/2017: I came here with my mum and dog Henry for the weekend. We could not have asked for a friendlier welcome, Henry was doted on from the minute he set paw in the building. Great food, accommodation and all of the staff are second to none. We're already planning our next visit, if only so Henry can have another try at making friends with the lady of the house, Cocoa.
04/03/2017: One of my absolute favourite places to eat. A lovely pub, always offering good quality food and service. Also, love that there is a separate place to play pool, making it suitable for a nice meal with my husband or a drink with friends.
