L'amuse Bouche Restaurant

Priory, Malvern Hills
19/03/2017: Have eaten here before for dinner. Decided that as our anniversary was a Sunday then lunch would be a good idea and knew Sunday lunch is a destination here. It was not disappointing. Our table was beautifully dressed and made us feel very special. Lunch exceeded expectation based on previous dinners and we came away knowing we had made the right choice. Thank you to all.
17/03/2017: After 30 years living in Malvern, my wife and I went here for the first time this evening. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the Cotford did not disappoint. Its local reputation for fine food and excellent service is well deserved. On arrival, we were welcomed, shown into the lounge, and provided with drinks, nibbles and menus. After we had ordered we were taken to our table and served with a delightful amuse bouche (well, they would, given the name of the restaurant). Like everything that followed, it was flavoursome, very well presented, and had original touches that brought out the best of the very fresh ingredients. A selection of breads followed, still hot from the oven. The ensuing three-course meal was memorable: highlights included my soufflé starter, the Herefordshire beef main (that we both had) and the pot au chocolate. I am no chocoholic, but the balancing of flavours and textures in this chocolate confection was very accomplished. For various reasons, neither of us could drink much alcohol, so it was good to find half a dozen or so decent wines available by the glass (small, medium or large). Our young waitresses had been well trained. They didn't miss anything and their manner was well judged, being neither over-formal or over-familiar. It was good, too, to not be asked if everything was OK every thirty seconds.Overall, this was a great evening and, even if the bill was a little more than we would usually pay, excellent value for money. We will visit again.

Pundits Fusion

Upton and Hanley, Malvern Hills, 30-45£
17/03/2017: I had Madrasi tilapia fish which was a delicious 5* and my wife had chicken byriana 4*. Service is quick and friendly esp considering how busy they were. I know they won't want to mess with a winning formula but I think they could be even more adventurous and modern e.g. There is no proper vegitarian special and the portions are takeaway large. My fish was a big helping of fish and sauce with a bit of onion and green pepper. I would have liked a side vegetable dish but it would have been too much foodAll in all recommended.
13/03/2017: Lovely food, always a warm welcome from everyone defiantly worth a visit, i would recommend going !!!

The Karczma

Nechells, Birmingham, 20-30£
17/03/2017: I've walked past this little joint countless times, so many times. You guys know the deal, there's that one restaurant you walk past on a regular basis without going in, so many goddamn times the very act of doing so has become a fixture of your reality.Well my girlfriend & I finally went in one rainy Tuesday night, and our mind's were blown. The service was great, our waiter dressed in (what I assume to be!) traditional Polish attire. The venue itself was PHENOMENAL in it's decoration, sheep-skins and carved wood aplenty, juxtaposed with white doilies & candles on the tables. Our food was plentiful, fabulously cooked from fresh, and well presented. This is hearty, feel-good home-spun deliciousness, straight up.The price ranges were also nice to see; our meals were fairly inexpensive for the quality on offer (in relative terms), however if one was inclined to splash out, the options were most certainly there!Although this was a magical 'coupley' night out, I can imagine bringing a big party of friends here would be sooo much fun. Check it out people, this is one of the independent gems in Birmingham's culinary crown.
12/03/2017: One of the most delicious meals I've had in a very long time. Really different food, all delicious! Strongly recommend asking for recommendations as you won't recognise much on the menu

No 3 Restaurant & Bar

Ross-on-Wye East, Herefordshire, County of
19/03/2017: Three of us went for lunch Saturday and each of us enjoyed the experience immensely. We pre-booked table and the customer service over the phone was brilliant- especially as we had changed our times and day once. The service was faultless and food beautifully prepared cooked presented and served. I have been meaning to visit for some time and will definitely be going back. The owner made a real effort with everyone in the restaurant giving them a warm welcome and the waitress was attentive and polite. The place looks lovely throughout and everything I have heard had been so positive and I can see why. We had arrived a little earlier with a cake as a surprise to our friend which was kindly hidden for us. It was brought to us at the right time complete with an amazing indoor firework type candle which we were not expecting but were very happy with.We had olives, flat breads and soups to start, then I had the vegetarian option (which is pictured) my daughter had the chicken and chips and my friend a gourmet burger - all of which we liked. The aristan breads were particularly lovely. We asked to swap the greens for a salad and had an extra side of something not on the menu all of which was not a problem and all attention to detail was brilliant. An enjoyable visit. Definitely worth a visit to any resident and tourist alike.
18/03/2017: Had a lovely lunch here, excellent burger, then had dinner. A very busy restaurant, but staff managed well. Good service. Good steak. The sea bream was very good and I didn't want what it came with, and they were more than happy to adjust the dish. Delicious.

La Dolce Vita

Quarry and Coton Hill, Shropshire, 30-45£
13/03/2017: Another 5* meal at La Dolce Vita.It consistently produces great modern Italian food, never lets you down. So if you want to know you will get great food, and be well looked after it is the place to go in Shrewsbury.
13/03/2017: Small restaurant with a big reputation, couldn't fault it, will definitely return again The imagination of the menu is incredible, so we really must try the rest of the menu!

The Opposition Bistro

Stratford Guild and Hathaway, Stratford-on-Avon, 45-60£
19/03/2017: My friend and I had a great meal here on Friday 17th March. Lovely cosy atmosphere , friendly efficient service and very good food.
13/03/2017: Love this place. Don't get there often enough but when we do it is always tasty. Great menu, friendly staff and love atmosphere!

Abbey, Nuneaton and Bedworth
15/03/2017: Excellent Sunday lunch.think about taking the lovely desert home as the portions are generous . Quality food at realistic prices. Graham
13/03/2017: The food and service here is fabulous. I just wish it still opened for meals at lunch time.I have eaten here numerous times and have always enjoyed the experience

The Red Lion-Long Compton

Brailes, Stratford-on-Avon
05/03/2017: I came here with my mum and dog Henry for the weekend. We could not have asked for a friendlier welcome, Henry was doted on from the minute he set paw in the building. Great food, accommodation and all of the staff are second to none. We're already planning our next visit, if only so Henry can have another try at making friends with the lady of the house, Cocoa.
04/03/2017: One of my absolute favourite places to eat. A lovely pub, always offering good quality food and service. Also, love that there is a separate place to play pool, making it suitable for a nice meal with my husband or a drink with friends.

The Green Cafe

Ludlow North, Shropshire
17/03/2017: My husband and I visited this eating healthy resturant however, we do love our meat and our chips. Unfortunately, if you want a rib sticking meal this is not the place for you. If you like your salads, meatless pasta and eating healthy this place is wonderful..I had the main course omelete with a salad and my huband had the tomato pasta. Very tasty but not enough, we came out and went and had something else to eat as we were still hungry. The food is quite expensive for what it is,£7-£9 for a main and they are quite small portions, but it is worth a visit as it is such a lovely spot by the river. The other thing is that being a diabetic there weren't any cold drinks that were diet,
17/03/2017: Never had soup like it! We just wanted a light snack at lunch time and happened to find this place. Most of the tables were booked but we said we only wanted soup so were offered a table that wasn't needed for 30 minutes. We gladly accepted that offer as all the food coming out (it was only 12.15) look delicious. The soup we chose was red lentil, cauliflower soup with fresh cumin, chilli and coriander with walnuts and onion, served with sourdough bread and butter. Everything on the menu was imaginative and judging by the number of people there and arriving, all the food must be as excellent as our soup. The staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient and we hope to go back again sometime. Beautiful position in the shadow of the castle and right next to the river.

The Moody Cow

Old Gore, Herefordshire, County of, >100£
18/03/2017: We had the most excellent dinner here. If we lived here I would eat here all the time. Excellent friendly and helpful staff, fantastic service. Brilliant selection of food and wine. The hake was very good, with a lovely selection of veg. Husband had the fillet steak, this looked wonderful, and was very good. Nice cheese and biscuits well presented, and you could choose your cheese. Very nice panna cotta.
17/03/2017: Fantastic food, charming hosts. The best Bread and Butter pudding ever tasted and an amazing Moody Cow Sundae - delicious!

33 the Scullery

Stratford Guild and Hathaway, Stratford-on-Avon
15/03/2017: Any body in town should check out this place. All my family loved what they ordered. I had roasted beef and it was the best roasted beef I've ever had.
13/03/2017: Lovely atmosphere helpful staff and delicious food. Staff advised which wine matched each course and owner welcoming and knowledgeable

La Petite Gare

Greenhill, Wyre Forest
18/03/2017: I recently moved to Kidderminster and just happened to pop into this restaurant one day for breakfast, since then I have eaten breakfast here numerous times, ranging from the full English to the salmon and poached eggs, all very nice.I decided to try out the lunch the other day and it was absolutely incredible. We ordered everything off the specials menu, my Nan had the sirloin which was probably one of the best sirloins I have tasted in a while. I had the gnocchi and the chicken. I ordered 2 mains because they both looked so good I couldn't make my mind up so had both :) All the food was incredible, the service is superb and I like that women run the kitchen and manage the restaurant, they have definitely got this place spot on. Very cosy too. I'll 100% be eating here a lot.
17/03/2017: This is the second time I have been to Le Petite Gare, the first was time was for coffee while I waited for a train but last week a friend and I had a delicious lunch. The homemade soup was delicious, portions are generous and the food is good quality. Prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly.I will definately eat here again., it was very enjoyable. The reason I did not mark Le Petite Gare as excellent was becuase our seats were not very comfortable, we had a corner table by the garden door and the seats could do with thicker cushions to sit on. Also we could see into the untidy store/kitchen area, which really needs to be tidied up.Finally a woman with three children all under five was at the next table, the children were loud but luckily they had almost finished, a crying baby is not a pleasant experience especially in a restaurant. Parents seem oblivious to their children or the effect that their childrens moaning and crying have on others.I will definately eat here again as the quality of food outweighed the cushions and the other diners.

Viceroy Tandoori

Ladywood, Birmingham, <20£
15/03/2017: Gorgeous meal cooked to our liking. Good knowledge of intolerances and gave us good advice and altered recipes to suit. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.
14/03/2017: I group of us travelled to Birmingham for a weekend and using TripAdvisor we found this amazing restaurant. I can safely say it was the best curry I have ever had, the staff where very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. It was also great value for money and really enjoyed the meal. If visiting Birmingham I would recommend a visit here.

Baby Russets

Hartshill and Basford, Stoke-on-Trent, 20-30£
17/03/2017: Me and my fiancée came here for my 30th birthday we had starters, mains and shared a pudding. Really struggled to choose off the menu/specials because i generally couldn't make a choice they all sounded that tasty. Only negative was 2 many chips as all the dishes came with veg and chips and because mine came with mash I couldn't eat all the chips and I hate waste but wanted room for a pud! Can see why there is a waiting list to get in here. Highly recommended!
17/03/2017: I've visited this restaurant 3 times with friends, and can highly recommend it. It's only a small restaurant and can get very busy. The food is first class and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be visiting again.

Tasca Dali

Warwick West, Warwick, 30-45£
19/03/2017: We had a fantastic meal last night at Tasca Dali. Alex and his team were great. There is no menu to choose from but this wasn't a problem. We had a five course meal and Alex explained everything about each course to us which was helpful. The food is delicious and there is a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and we will most certainly visit again.
19/03/2017: Been a couple of times now and this restaurant doesn't fail to disappoint on any level..£25 for 5 delicious plates of food and a very carefully chosen selection of quality wines to wash it down with! You really can't go wrong with Tacsa Dali & if you haven't been already you should ring Alex (the extremely hospitable owner) & book a table.I'll certainly be returning soon for a little taste of Spain in Warwick!
