The Jolly Sandwich

Portora, Fermanagh
19/02/2018: Enjoyed a terrific lunch. The place is so Clean and tidy and the staff were so friendly. Very hard to make a choice as there is so much choice and the buns and cakes look amazing. Went back later in the day for coffee as we got such a warm reception. Well deserved awards and The excellent reviews on trip advisor.
13/02/2018: Unbelievable choice of food for hot lunch from chicken bake to soup to a selection of sandwiches and wraps to rival any major company. We were blown away. The warm welcome and the friendly atmosphere were a blessing and much appreciated. It is clearly a local favourite and the staff go above and beyond to help. Everything is so fresh and delicious and the personal touch went a long way. We will be visiting here again and wish the Jolly Sandwich many years of continued success.

Ebrington, Derry
18/02/2018: had lunch here today, while the staff were lovely the food was not.
14/02/2018: The meal and the service was perfection. We always eat out but haven’t been to browns in a while - have to say best meal in a long time!!

Portora, Fermanagh, <20£
12/02/2018: Great for watching rugby and got free stew at half time
05/02/2018: Nice pub and good music Saturday night

North, Strabane
18/02/2018: Would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at oysters for such a fantastic evening on Saturday night! First time being in oysters and I have to say Everything was exceptional , each meal and the service was fantastic, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and making sure we were happy with everything throughout our time there. Will definitely be back again.
10/02/2018: Went for lunch today with my mother Stephen the waiter was so professional friendly and made us feel so welcome excellent service.

The TapHouse Enniskillen

Castlecoole, Fermanagh
21/02/2018: I visited the TAPHOUSE for the third time knowing that it had had a rocky start and I was hoping for an improvement. The TH has always had great staff and the ambience is good, can get a little noisy but still cool. The thing about the TH is that the food can be up and down, I found one of the dishes to be under-spiced and not at all what it should be, but the guy on the table next to me thought it was ok. I mentioned this to the waiter/manager and he apologised saying it is difficult to cater to everyone's taste and we talked about ways to pep it up a little. He was very grateful for the observation and gave my wife and I complimentary deserts. My wife enjoyed her burger but it was nothing special. I think you get what you pay for at the TH, but never the less a very nice evening .
20/02/2018: We booked an early dinner midweek here. The Pub is a little difficult to find as it is on the Old Tempo Road which runs parallel to the Tempo Road for about half a mile. Once there it really couldn't have been better. Staff were really nice, attentive without being intrusive. Food was excellent, well priced and served piping hot. Two courses for two people with a drink each for £45. Give it a try.

Walled City Brewery

Ebrington, Derry
15/02/2018: The Walled city brewery is a haven of Excellent food and fine beers. We shared a selection of pintxos, (small plate tapas style dishes), which were absolutely delicious and I had a flight if beers, (3 little tasting beers to try before committing to a full pint). The Derry milk stout was exceptional as was the knowledge and level of service from the front of house team. If you every go to Derry you have to make the trip to the Walled city brewery, a short walk across the Peace Bridge to the Ebrington site.
08/02/2018: We, my husband, daughter and me, had starters, main course and 1 dessert. The food was amazing.

The Sooty Olive Restaurant

Victoria, Derry, 20-30£
16/02/2018: I had until this point rated the Sooty Olive as consistently the best restaurant in Derry, in terms of warmth of welcome, professionalism of service, the continuity of a balanced, well designed menu and the standard of cuisine. Sincerely disappointed in a recent overly defensive and decidely unapologetic response from management staff when giving feedback and raising an issue privately. Come on guys, customers aren't robots, sorry goes a long way and Derry needs you!
14/02/2018: Myself and my family came here for my sisters birthday lunch. The staff were so friendly and very helpful and attentive. The food was beautiful. You can definitely taste the quality ingredients that they use.

Finn Lough Kitchen

Belleek and Boa, Fermanagh, 30-45£
20/02/2018: This amazing place nourishes the heart and mind as well as the body. Your taste buds will enjoy the adventure and explosion of deliciousness. My three course meal looked fabulous and tasted even better. I think that food becomes especially memorable when the people working there are warm, genuinely helpful and friendly, and professional. Everyone I met showed a real pride in their work, the food and in the place itself too. This is somewhere I will never forget.
01/02/2018: We ate in the kitchen at Finn Lough for dinner and breakfast during our stay and everything was really lovely... including our pre dinner G&T;’s! Both service and food spot on...well done team!

Browns in Town

Strand, Derry, 20-30£
07/02/2018: Our visit wasn't completely without hiccups-- we were kept waiting for fifteen minutes even though we booked, and many of the menu items weren't available. Despite that, I'm still giving this place five stars, because the sugar pit pork that we ordered as a main was just that good. Winner.
29/01/2018: Browns in Town is a good restaurant and it was its reputation that took us there and the food was good but we took exception to the pricing policies that exist, don't understand them and won't be lured back.

The Coast Road Inn

Magilligan, Limavady
09/02/2018: Just so pleasant to be welcomed by warm, friendly staff. Comfortable and homely atmosphere, with families of all ages enjoying the relaxed surroundings. Food freshly cooked and served piping hot. Menu has been extended with a great selection. Consistently fabulous food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended again.
23/01/2018: We met for a family gathering and had a wonderful time. The food was well presented and after 4 meals in the last 2 months nothing but praise for staff, quality of food and great value. Everyone that we have taken were full of praise for this venue.

Cedar A taste of Lebanon

The Diamond, Derry
10/02/2018: My wife and I have known about this restaurant for some time but have only visited twice before, which I now am slightly embarrassed to admit but after last nights meal we will definitely be returning on a more regular basis.
03/02/2018: Delicious and interesting food in a small and pleasant restaurant. Welcoming host. So good I came back the next night.

The Happiness Trap

Devenish, Fermanagh, 60-100£
14/02/2018: We called in on 14th Feb Valentines day for lunch. The Café was busy but didn't feel over crowded nor noisy.
12/02/2018: Quick pit stop on a long journey and came across this cafe - just off the Main Street and well worth a stop

The Diamond, Derry, <20£
19/02/2018: I visited Fitzroys on Friday 16th /02 2018 and was delighted with the food, value for money, service and atmosphere.
08/02/2018: I always try and pop in when I get home over Christmas and I did again this year.

Strand, Derry, <20£
30/01/2018: Came here as a result of not being able to get in somewhere else and very glad we did.
29/01/2018: Return visit to a really good spot, food was great as always, service was superb. We shared the chilli cheesy nachos, (knew it was large, not that tight). The fillet steak was great cooked to perfection, the chicken pitta was great as well. The meringue nest could have done with a hacksaw but was grand. Only downside was watching the cocktail bar man dropping the prosecco cork and stopper and just put it back into the bottle, then wipe down the ice machine spillages / overflow into the ice bucket then threw it into the ice cube freezer, YUK. Didn’t order anything else with ice, needless to say. Price after 30% discount, food and drink made for a very cheap night out, no reduction on quality or quantity. Would recommend, but for me it will be drnks with no ice
