Ebrington, Derry
20/02/2017: We went for the tasting menu with selected wines. A good choice. Food was interesting and beautifully presented. If being picky I would suggest linen tablecloths would elevate the experience.
19/02/2017: Celebrated a 3 year anniversary with a stunning 3 course meal. Each course was presented beautifully, the staff were excellent and the atmosphere was great. For shame this was my first visit but it will certainly not be my last.

The TapHouse Enniskillen

Castlecoole, Fermanagh
24/02/2017: We were staying at lough Erne resort and fancied a lunch out in enniskillen. After looking up places to eat, The Taphouse came up on site and looked very nice. We thought we would give it a go and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by a very friendly guy who showed us to a copper topped table. Our friends had a turkey dinner, I had a superfood wrap and my husband had a chicken ceaser wrap was fabulous and everyone else thought the same about theirs. A pint, two glasses of wine and 2 soft drinks and the bill came to £47! Unbeatable value for money...would definitely recommend highly and will be returning when next in enniskillen:)
22/02/2017: Sorry for the late review (I was booking for another trip on 17th March when I remembered I had failed to review my last visit)Myself and 3 friends played golf at the wonderful Lough Erne and wanted some food on our way home. We opted for The Taphouse and what a good call this turned out to be. The Treacle bread is as good as it gets for a lover of Bread as I am. But I have to take my hat of to the chef who made a Chowder that was a good as I have tasted anywhere (and I go for Chowder quite often) the quality of ingredients used were clear to see and the sauce was seasoned to perfection! The cost was very reasonable for such a good meal. The decor is very well done and I think it would make a good setting for a friend, family or romantic meal. The staff are very attentive not overly intrusive but enough to keep things moving. So if you are in the area make a point of treating yourself to a good hearty local meal!

Market Yard

Roeside, Limavady, 20-30£
20/02/2017: Great food, great service. However sometimes portions are hit or miss. Carvery is out of this world though.
15/02/2017: Nice looking restaurant but the price of food and portion is two different story....waiting time for food is unreal....we wait about 45 minutes...and place was empty just couple tables....never back again ...high standard restaurant but they forgot about high service standard

The Lime Tree Restaurant

Roeside, Limavady, 30-45£
13/02/2017: We received a warm welcome by the owner on arrival. The atmosphere is very friendly and genuine. The food is high quality, delicious and beautifully served. There were four in our party on Thursday 9 February and each one of us had a delicious starter and main course. Both the owner and Tina, the waitress, had time to chat to us adding to our birthday celebrations. We will definitely return. Thank you.
29/01/2017: We had an excellent family meal here. The food is great with a good choice and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience and we will be back.

The Jolly Sandwich

Portora, Fermanagh
15/02/2017: I can't speak highly enough about the jolly sandwich their food is always fresh and of the highest quality, you could literally have any combination of fillings and it would taste great. I used to live very close to the jolly sandwich and loved picking up a roll for lunch and having a chat with Hazel(owner) who is so nice and always has time to talk. I have since moved to Dublin for college and unfortunately cannot get as much as I used too. Thankfully when friends or family come to visit me I make sure they stop by the jolly sandwich first to pick me up one of their fabulous sandwiches.
11/02/2017: Met up with friends for a get together. A great visit with everybody ordering totally different things but the food and service were excellent. Next time we're in Enniskillen this will be our first port of call.

Portora, Fermanagh, <20£
11/02/2017: This was the first time my wife and I had experienced Greek food - it needed a very friendly Lithuanian waitress to explain what everything was - , but we were quite bowled over by the quality and variety of the dishes. Would certainly go again, given the chance - although it's quite a long way from Lisburn to Enniskillen!
04/02/2017: Ate here last weekend as a birthday treat from my partner and oh my goodness it was a treat! So lucky we reserved a table as it was very busy, you could clearly see it's a popular restaurant with the locals. We got a lovely little Pina Colada shot at the end, nice gesture. Will definitely be back.

Tullana on the Green

Lisnarrick, Fermanagh
24/02/2017: Visited Tullana on the Green on Friday afternoon. Excellent experience with excellent food. Very well priced
27/12/2016: A group of us + 2 children booked for lunch on 24 December 2016 on the internet - they got back to us very quickly to say our table was reserved. Staff were very friendly, service was good, food was excellent and plenty of sides supplied. Children had pictures to colour in and the staff made them feel special. Good value for money and we will return to this special restaurant. Thank you for an enjoyable meal.

9th Avenue Pizzeria

Fintona, Omagh
23/08/2016: We go here for takeaway. The kids love it. Freshly made pizzas are great. Well cooked, great flavour and good value for money. Meal deals are good if you are just grabbing a bite yourself. Totally recommended

Riverfront Coffee House

Dergmoney, Omagh
06/12/2016: This is the only coffee shop I go to when I visit family in Omagh. Such a warm, friendly and relaxed place with an amazing selection of delicious sandwiches, wraps, salads, quiche, tray bakes, scones and more on display- it is so hard to chose what to eat as you want it all! Highly recommend having a freshly baked scone (my favourite is the apple and clove) with a cappuccino for elevenses! Great food, great staff, great coffee house- can't wait for my next visit!
15/11/2016: Love this place, you are always guaranteed a warm welcome and fantastic food great variety and they also do healthy options, always my first choice.

North, Strabane
14/02/2017: The food was just ok..there was no space at the table..there are too many tables squeezed in..would never go back again here ..the prices did not reflect the quality or quantity of food on offer..very overrated restaurant..much more a glorified cafe...
13/02/2017: Good quality restaurant at the higher end of the price scale . The wine is pricy in comparison to other outlets , it would be nice to be able to bring your own wine of choice

The Sooty Olive Restaurant

Victoria, Derry, 20-30£
22/02/2017: Celebrated a 54th Wedding Anniversary with my husband.A delicious meal, great service from very attentive staff, without being intrusive.Thankyou to all at the Sooty Olive. See you soon. Beatrice and Terry Carton.
21/02/2017: Had the most amazing lunch at Sooty olive. Staff were really friendly and helpful and food was beautiful. Definitely be back xx

Legenderry Warehouse Cafe

Strand, Derry, <20£
20/02/2017: Been in this place a few times for coffee which is always lovely. On latest occasion ordered food from the menu on the board. Went for chicken with mozzarella and pesto on ciabatta. When it arrived was served in a brioche bun. Really annoying - if the item isn't as described on the menu then please tell the customer!
18/02/2017: Four of us celebrated a 70th birthday in The Bistro last night to try the new menu. The cauliflower and cumin fritters were delicious and the hake with mussels and lemon beurre blanc were just the best fish dish we had ever had, chosen by three of us; one with a shellfish allergy requested the dish without, the other who was undecided about having the beurre blanc had it served on the side but ate it as it was so delicious; all of our 'special requests' were absolutely no problem. The carefully selected wine as ever was yummy and very welcome after a dry January; I haven't had those particular brands in any other restaurant in town which is welcome. The Warehouse Bistro really should be tried if you haven't already (if you can get a table!). It's certainly a hidden gem. I asked our guests to give me five adjectives to describe it and was emailed 'exceptional, superb, delicious, polite, friendly' among others. We'll be back! Thank you Warehouse.

Cafe Merlot

Portora, Fermanagh
25/02/2017: Gorgeous meal last night in Merlot. Food & service fantastic as always. Food really quick to arrive and cooked to perfection. Rib eye steak was delish. Waiter & waitress checked on us several times to ensure we were enjoying our meals. Never disappoints.
19/02/2017: The restaurant looks nothing from the road but take the steps down and you find a vaulted dining room serving excellent food...and of course Guinness !!!

The Catalina Restaurant

Derrygonnelly, Fermanagh, >100£
15/02/2017: My wife and I dined her over a St Valentine's Day break and had a superb meal and service that was second to none. We arrived at our due time and were quickly shown to our table, the server introduced herself, explained what the special of the day was and after giving us some menus left us alone for a few minutes to make our selections. When she returned she asked if we needed more time and did not pressure us into making any rash decisions, she took our wine order and on returning with the wine took our order. My wife had the mushroom ravioli and thought it was beautiful, I against my better judgement opted for the Kilkeel crab dish and found it a little underwhelming, this was purely my fault as I am not a great lover of seafood but was trying to be adventurous. It looked delicious and I am sure that those with a taste for seafood would have found it superb. For her main my wife had the hake, pan fried with Tarogan oil and said it was fantastic, I returned to my usual and had the fillet steak which was to die for, cooked exactly as ordered and served with root vegetables. For dessert we both had the Chocolate Delice and it was delicious. Overall the meal was soperb anf the service outstanding. We will certainly return in the near future.
08/01/2017: We booked a resort break with our family for New years eve. As part of our package we delighted in the tasting menu which was delightful. From start to finish each course was cooked to perfection by Noel and his team. There was just enough to satisfy all our appetites. The service we received was excellent as always and if anything my only minor complaint would be if anything they could have afforded to allow a little more time between courses.

Cedar A taste of Lebanon

The Diamond, Derry
15/02/2017: Went on valentines night for first time. What a lovely little place!! Great ambience, authentic menu and food . Seemed to be a family run place, attention to detail of service was impressive! Look forward to returning with friends!
14/02/2017: Cedar is a cosy, intimate, warm and friendly Lebanese restaurant. We were warmly greeted and the menu explained to us as well as a short description of Lebanese cuisine. The main focus is on the Mezza which are the starters. There was a huge variety to choose from - hot and cold small taster dishes. It was a great treat to experience the many flavours and textures. Great choice of main courses - very good quality food and good value for money. Great choice for vegetarians. Bring your own wine - we were lucky enough to have sourced a Lebanese wine which was fabulous. We met the excellent Lebanese chef briefly. We will return!
