Al-Iman's Grill in Breckland

Our first Indian we have tried in Dereham and we haven’t changed since. The whole process and experience is brilliant. Their prices and discounts are the best and flavourings are really nice. The menu is big but there is definitely an option for everyone. The staff are polite and when leaving notes on the order they have called to confirm every time. Highly recommend and already looking forward to our next meal!

Amazing food was a bit but got a call from the takeaway to let us know, the food was 10/10 the dansak to really nice tasked fresh the biriani was good and the nan was good nice size as other takeaways I’ve had the nan has been tiny so really pleased I will definitely be back and do highly recommend

Collected a takeaway from Al-Imans last night for the 1st time. Ordered at 5.45pm for collection at 6.45pm. Staff were polite and attentive, food was being packaged as we arrived for collection. It was delicious. Good sized portions, at a decent price and not swimming in sauce as is the case in many takeaways. We will definitely be using this place again.

Food is absolutely amazing and hot but never on time, ha e waited 3 hours before today for a delivery so far been waiting over 40 mins past specified delivery time tonight. We are regular customers, i think next time I'll order for at least half hour before I want it

Excellent, delicious Indian food, delivered to our village and piping hot. They have delivered where all else have failed to find us! We’ve been using Al Imans for a few years now and they have never let us down, the drivers are all very polite and always on time, excellent service!

Had a takeaway. Best in many years. Usually disappointed by Indian restaurants, but this was a great meal. Rang them to order again last night - no answer. Saturday evening 6pm - open according to website etc. Went round there to check; no activity in restaurant but door was open. Upstairs windows open, sounds of life, but no response to shouted enquiries. Weird. Hope they get the act together because the food was terrific last time.

The food was delivered on time and accurate - however, the food was of very poor quality. Lots of oil used and food swimming in it. Motar Paneer was very strange using double cream and not much cheese in it at all. Puri was very hard and appeared precooked earlier. Not recommended due to standard of cooking.

Very bad customer service as very rude when I wanted a update on my order. It was going to be an hour after the online estimation. Was told they were busy as it’s a Saturday, surely they should just update the estimation knowing that it was busy. Gone for poor (two) as we cancelled the order and cooked something, which clearly it’s the point of a takeaway. A lower score of 1 wouldn’t be fair as it didn’t eat the food but the service wasn’t average so poor seems fair.

As loyal customers I'm really disappointed with our take away. We understood that new years eve on this year in particular that the restaurant would be extremely busy. And as advised by the restaurant we put in our family order early in the day with a preferred time of delivery. We also completely understood that this time would more than likely be variable, however, it was over an hour late. With young kids to feed we actually cooked for them at home in the end! When the food did arrive it was again disappointing. Everything was much below par and the saag aloo was literally inedible as we couldn't even get a fork through the potatoes! I don't enjoy leaving a review like this on a rstsursnt we've enjoyed throughout the years but I feel they let us down. They obviously took on too many orders to cope which could have been avoided and focus should have been on delivering quality food to fewer people. Our next Indian takeaway will be from elsewhere.

Al Iman is the best Indian takeaway you will find - ANYWHERE!! Fantastic!! Hamsa, Mohammed and the rest of the staff are just simply the best! The food is always excellent and the service (I always collect) is brilliant. Everyone there, including the drivers, has got time to chat and smile with you. Never had a complaint - and I’ve been using them since day one. KEEP IT GOING, AL IMAN!!

Madras chicken curry had no taste to it. Was not impressed. Chicken jalfrezi was good Won’t be using them again

I've used this place many times, always received a nice meal and it was hot. The drivers always find my house ok even though it's hard to find. I just leave a note with directions at the end. I would definitely recommend.

Indian takeaway done properly. They aren't greedy like most Indian takeaways. Prices are fair and if you pay cash and collect you get a further 10% discount. I look forward to having my fortnightly curry from Al-Iman's. I've tried all the Indian restaurants in Dereham, this is hands down the best and by far the cheapest. The only small complaint I would have is that most Indian takeaways throw a poppadom or two into the bag and some chutneys but at unusually sensible prices as these I can't fairly deduct points for not getting complimentary items. So remember to order your poppadoms. The Phall is one of the mildest I've ever attempted but totally do - able for spice lovers. Worth noting this is takeaway only. Friendly owner too, despite being constantly busy. Thumbs up from me.

I order a takeaway to Beetley about 4 times a month and it’s always great! Arrives in great time, service with a smile and always hot.I’ve been ordering for nearly two years now and have only ever had two issues but I rang and spoke to the staff and it was sorted brilliantly and straight away, we all make mistakes. Food is always great tasting!! Great customer service! Currently waiting for an order now! Highly recommended

we have a delivery almost every week, always piping hot, always before stated time, the meal deal is amazing value, and a great way to try new dishes we had only ever heard of, and you can order right off the website! love it, wont go anywhere else!it's a takeaway and home delivery indian, not a sit in and dine restaurant.dammit, fancy indian now! it's wonderful.

Not quite as good as the Dereham Bombay but perfectly adequate for a quick grab and go takeaway. I wouldn't say the food is excellent in comparison to a decent sit down restaurant but as the nearest ones are either the Bombay which can be hit and miss and the Fusion which is just miss you need to travel to Yaxham to find one. it certainly beats the service at Spice fusion and the food is favourably comparable.

Ordered a takeaway for 5 people via the website. Order was immediately confirmed by email with an estimated delivery time of an hour. Ok it was a Saturday night but an hour and three quarters later was a bit excessive. Food is good but everything else was poor.

Great easy to use website and online ordering system. Always good food and portions. Delivery drivers are also very polite.

Waited an hour and a half for delivery. Honestly the worse Indian food I have ever eaten. No flavour, no taste, just awful. Never ever again.

This take away was recommended to us and we drove to order our meal as we wanted to see where it was and a 10% discount is offered for cash collections. We found they do deliver to our area and will most likely order in that way next time (& there will be a next time) very friendly staff and a busy takeaway. The food was good and plentiful (enough to save some for lunch tomorrow)

We have a great choice of Chinese home deliveries but not Indian , so this was a surprise we decided to try. Ordered chicken tikka, naan, rice and sauces. It came quickly and hot and really well cooked, it was lovely. The meal deals are fantastic value. Hoping the next is as good.

We ordered a take away tonight - I had delicious Tarka Dhal and Bindi Bhaji (best Dahl in Dereham, I would say) and my husband had a lamb biriani which was really nice and plenty of it too. Haven't tried this before but would certainly go back there...nice to see that Dereham has such a good takeaway to offer.

I have ordered from here twice. Minimum delivery order is £16.I get 2 curries rice and a naan. Delivered promptly hot and tasty. No complaints

I go here a lot! Not least of all because I'm a chubster with a serious thing for prawns.They're really lovely, theres been times for example I've paid only but accidentally selected collecton, and they will give me a call to make sure its meant for collection as most people who pay online want delivery.

A good place to get a take away from. The curries are spicy and a little short on meat but overall a good meal was had for a cheap price and delivered reasonably on time

We are so so impressed with Al-imans indian. We have never been dissapointed!! Sometimes they can be a little late but then again we do order during the weekends so being a little late is expected. They are always polite on the phone too. I always order chicken tikka and it is always so so tender and my partner lamb vindaloo, we are never dissapointed! Keep up the good work! :)

Waited an hour and a half for our order to arrive, twenty minutes late and it certainly wasn't worth the wait. We ordered two medium dishes which had absolutely no heat at all, the vegetable biriyani was tired with vegetables that looked like they had been sitting around longer than they should have. The onion bhajis were just onion with no spices or flavour. Sorry but won't be ordering again

We have had many, many take aways from here and without exception they have all been wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and the flavour is fresh and exciting. The best thing is that they are not swimming in oil (ghee). Thank you

Food this time was pretty dire, we use this restaurant because they are the only one prepared to deliver to rural villages and it has been ok in the past, but this time, although it was delivered fairly quickly and was hot, it was like no other Indian we have tasted, matar paneer was peas in maccys cheese sauce, bombay pots and spinach was terrible, pilau was like boiled rice, biriani was flavourless, chicken dhansak and madras were average, guess I will have to drive to my usual restaurant in future, quite disappointed...

Hice un pedido para la entrega en su página web y después de esperar una hora para que llamé para preguntar donde estaba y nos dijeron que su sitio web había sido por unos días (extraño cómo me las arreglé para hacer un pedido). De todas maneras, que nos preparó mi pedido en 25 minutos y la entregaron. Incluso no vale la pena esperar. El pollo jalfrezi tenía prácticamente sin salsa y no había final de lo que parecía gigante, pimiento verde o espárragos! El pollo y el arroz eran muy buenas, pero sin salsa! Yo también tenía cebolla bhajis, que eran duras y frías (basura básicamente). Lo único bueno de esta comida era el poppadoms, e incluso la menta y chutney salsas que venía con él eran pobres! No puedo creer que pagamos £12 para esta comida pésima! ! ! Y cómo están allí 4 / 5 estrellas aquí? Es mejor ir 8 kilómetros por la carretera y conseguir una primera india de la una en la calle alta, flintshire. El hombre en el teléfono también necesita algunas clases de modales y actitud!

Recientemente después de trasladarse a la zona de los alrededores, decidimos hace unos meses de tener un hindú para llevar. Había unos pocos para elegir pero optamos por Al Iman. Opción excepcional, fue una delicia!

No pudimos encontrar nuestro habitual Menú indio para llevar, pero no encontrar Al-Iman y así que decidí probarlo. Nos alegramos de que lo hicimos. La comida llegó caliente, a tiempo y era absolutamente delicioso. Estaremos pidiendo de nuevo... muy pronto.

Our Indian in Norwich stopped delivering to Reepham, as under new management, but a leaflet appeared through our door saying free delivery (orders over £16.00) so we could sit in and drink beer (other alcohol is available!) and wait for it to be delivered from Dereham. What a joy it was taking just over an hour and a wonderfully cooked meal. Fantastic food and great service, thanks guys we will be back again this weekend!

Had some food delivered. Not quite sure what we had... certainly wasn't a curry. Was pretty much chicken in a tin of tomatoes. Ordered two bhuna but was disgusting. No taste. No Spice. Won't be reordering

We love Al-Iman's and often get their weekday madness deal, which is incredibly good value and always beautifully cooked. You need to allow about an hour for delivery as they are so popular. They always recognise my voice when I call and we always have a chat!

This place is great you can order in person, by phone or via the just eat app. Delivery has varied for me and can sometimes take a while but the food is always amazing. As I can pay by card using the app, this place is incredibly convenient. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone.

Having eaten here before I was not impressed, however I bumped into the owner who persuaded me to try again.I stressed this on the phone on my last order.Cucumber was frozenI will stress this was my last order, although it arrived on time, delivery driver was fine, the food was below standard shatkora was to lemony and the meat was tasteless.Butter chicken was charged extra , came dry and tasteless, I wonder if they have a tandoor?Most of food was untouched,I speak as I find this is the last visit

Ordered by phone for 9 o clock. Collected.... got there 5 to 9....then they took the payment and started cooking. The whole reason I called was so.i didn't have to wait. So 20 mins later...the food was given to us. Was yummy tho.
