Bellini's Italiano Park Place in Cardiff

Attractive Italian Restaurant within Cardiff city centre. Lovely friendly attentive staff. Really nice ambience with a varied menu which is very reasonably priced. Our dining experience was made memorable and food was presented well. Will definitely be returning here and highly recommend

Advertises outside on huge boards , open 12-6pm for lunch menu, shuts at 3pm to 5pm for waiters to have their break?? So frustrating when we were turned away

Food ok. Service slow. Waiting 20 minutes after getting the desert menus and being forgotten until going to the bar to get someone is not great. Would not go again.

We dined on Sunday 10th March (Rugby w/e). The booking & comms via email & phone were both excellent & timely. Service was great & the food delicious :-) Highly recommend. Great choice & very tasty .....

Tried 2 times of carbonara,,,good quality and reasonable price, with prosecco and dessert wine ! Good experience.. recommend here when you visit Cardiff !

Have had a few disappointing visits to another well known Italian in Cardiff and was looking for an alternative. First visit to Bellinis. We all enjoyed our food. My Carbonara was the best I’d had in a long while.Staff were friendly and excellent service. All round good Italian meal.

Came to Bellini's for a casual drink and dinner with my partner and our friend, our spontaneous Saturday afternoon quickly turned sour when our main courses arrived- my partner's risotto was very clearly microwaved and was so hot that it caused a blistering burn on her tongue. When I mentioned this to Valentino, a smirk appeared on his face, looking down his nose he snapped 'well what do you expect me to do about it?" not waiting for my response, he continued to lecture me about how rice should be cooked and that it was my partners fault for not checking her plate before consumption, despite no staff member advising us on the heat of the dish, which, having worked in hospitality and hospitality management myself for a number of years, I know to be fundamentally wrong and against customer safeguarding regulations. I was shocked at the disgusting, patronising and condescending manner of which he spoke, I know it was not his fault my partner has injured herself, but the fact that there was no responsibility taken, or apology made, that I was spoken over and belittled is unacceptable, I advise anyone who reads this, and wants to remain able to consume hot food for 24 hours after their dinner, not venture into Bellini's.

Had the £17.50 two course menu and added a dessert. Service is always brilliant, and staff are wonderful. Meal was delicious with no rush to get us out. Wine was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

There was 10 of us and 4 plates of had to go back because it was cold in places and the taste of the food was horrible we will definitely not be going back there ,lovely table staff but the kitchen chef's need a good hard look at themselves.

We had a wonderful lunch at Bellinis with family before the pantomime! The food was all cooked fresh, and the staff were very attentive and cheerful. No complaints at all, would definitely recommend a visit.

I was here yesterday 23-12-2023. The Christmas menu was lovely. Started main and desert for £30. The food was exceptional. Really enjoyed out visit. Staff were lovely and welcoming. The food was hot which was lovely and all served st the same time. Merry Christmas everyone

Went for the works Christmas Meal. Was lovely food, we had the 3 course special Christmas menu and it was fantastic food at amazing value! Service was fantastic, drinks never empty for long!

Bellini's has really deteriorated in terms of service, atmosphere and food. The staff were disinterested in customers. Service was slow, despite there being few others in the restaurant. Everything had to be asked for, there was a lack of attention. The food was very average. The menu was poor, particularly in terms of vegetarian options. It is unfortunate as it used to be really good a number of years ago. We shan't be returning.

Convenient to the city centre and the New Theatre, the service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. Went pre theatre, which they are used to, would recommend.

There are no soft furnishings; curtains, table cloths etc, so it's very noisy when it's busy. But they do decent Italian food at reasonable prices and the service was good.

Family gathering of 7. Glorious menu with an amazing explanation of Gluten free options by well informed staff. 3 courses that everyone loved from lasagne to sea bass. Puddings were impossible to resist and tasted amazing. Very highly recommended.

Lovely pre-theare lunch, opposite the New Theatre. NCP Car parking also very close although pricey Lunch- pre theatre menu. £17.95 for 2 courses. Plenty of choice. We had bruscetta and garlic mushrooms, then chicken in white wine sauce and fries for lunch. All very tasty and filling. Could have been a little bit warmer but was delicious all the same. My father has trouble going upstairs and there was a disabled toilet located downstairs which was very good. Main toilets were upstairs. Good atmosphere, friendly staff Would recommend for pre-theatre.

Never been before but loved it! Will definitely be going back there sometime soon without a doubt. Recommend the oysters, very very nice. Had mussels for the main course. Faultless. Highly recommend Bellini's.

Faultless, food was exceptional and reasonably priced. Service was again, exceptional. Three waitresses going over and above, also the chef came to the table to see if everything was OK. My wife was unsure what to order as a main and was tempted by the lamb meatballs but not sure if the lamb would be too rich, when they brought the starter they also brought four of the meatballs in a separate dish for her to try, they were delicious and made her mind up. Lovely chilled atmosphere. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Had a pre-theatre set menu for £18pp. Excellent value and delicious. House wine is ok and the desserts looked amazing. Would recommend

Visited here on a Saturday evening (early evening) after spending the day in cardiff. The food was brilliant and so was the service was excellent. Really enjoyed our evening here and would highly recommend.

Bellini's is the perfect place for something a little more fancy but not bank breaking. The food was great and the service was like a perfect team working together. The Carbonara I had was really good, which is rare at restaurants. Portions are generous and well priced. The venue itself is a bit basic though which is sadly why it's not a 5 star. Will definitely be coming again! Perfect for a chill dining in experience.

Excellent homemade lasagne BUT was a tiny portion, about a ravioli size and came with nothing - no dressing, no garlic bread (garlic bread wasn't even on the menu), no fries. It was that small! It was expensive at £15.95. Three of us ate here and we were all hungry when we left - late evening for a 4 hr journey home.

Excellent service, good food, great price. Efficient lunch before theatre trip. What more can you ask for. Why does this have to be 100 characters!

My bruschetta and lasagne were OK, nothing special, but my husband's veal saltimbocca was excellent, as was his raspberry sorbet. The tables are spaced widely enough apart that we could easily hear each other throughout dinner. OTOH, the waitress was somewhat rude; and my husband didn’t notice that he was charged for a *bottle* of wine, instead of the glass that he’d had. When we complained, they gave us a credit; but we wondered about that waitress...

My wife and I called into Bellini's prior to going to the nearby New Theatre. I hadn't booked a table because we hadn't decided where we were going to eat. The restaurant was quite full, but they managed to find us a table, on the understanding that they would need it in an hour. That wasn't a problem for us. We opted for the pre-theatre 2-course menu for £17.50 each. As we chose risotto and carbonara it had to be washed down with a quintessential bottle of Italian wine. The service was friendly, fast and efficient. The food, faultless. All in all, worth the added but optional 10% service charge. We departed to a cheery arrivederci. When I return, and i will return, I will book a table. Thank you Bellini's.

Italian food made and served by Italians! I absolutely love the place, I went there a few days ago with my girlfriend, it was very good there, they had tremendous pizza but unfortunately I had to box it as my throat hurt the day prior and I struggled to eat, still it is a 5/5 from me, well worth the visit!

Shrimp and avocado salad delicious spaghetti carbonaa tasty.perhaps just a tad too creamy for me and I suspect it had been microwaved mineral and coffeecame to £26 which included a tip of 10% .very close to New Theatre which is why I chose it .recommended

Great Italian, loved the food. I had the salmon which was delicious. Wine selection was good, not overpriced. Knocked it back on atmosphere as it was very quiet but, deserves to be much busier.

Had a really good meal here. Popped in as was working in the area. Although it was quiet (but was early) there was a lovely atmosphere. Staff were excellent, really welcoming. Great menu options, and good prices. Would highly recommend.

We had a 3 course meal and everything we had was exceptional. Best restaurant meal we've had in a long time.

Quite disappointed with this restaurant. We went in on spec as needed somewhere to eat before a concert. On first glance the place looked quite classy and stylish. The staff are very friendly but the food sadly was average or ok at best. It wasn't expensive, but we have had better food at cheaper prices. If you have time, I'd suggest looking round for other places.

We walked in on the build up to evening service, very happy to find us space, staff are very professional and friendly, food was very enjoyable, kitchen is on display so you can see the chef in action, food was very good, I'm actually happy the booking we made elsewhere cancelled. Will definitely be back

Lovely restaurant with plenty of seating. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had the seafood pasta, a pizza and the veal escalopes, which were all delicious, but I especially recommend the veal.

Enjoyed a very nice meal at Bellini’s with very pleasant staff and lasagne to die for ! Only criticism is that the whitebait starter was very very small and we were only offered the pre theatre menu when it was after 6 and we wanted the a la carte menu.Perhaps they could offer both to people after 6.I should have asked them before we ordered but they were so busy that I didn’t like to and the choice on the pre theatre menu was pretty good anyway.Lovely food and we would visit again.

I had the set menu plus a dessert. I would come back. The food flavours and presentation were excellent. There were issues with my starter not being hot enough and the risotto was over cooked. However, the starter was replaced swiftly and the fabulous flavours really outweighed the consistency of the risotto. Our waitress was very good. There were arguments between staff during service, but perhaps this is the Italian passionate nature! The toilets were excellent. The dessert was fantastic. I would recommend Bellini and look forward to returning. The pre theatre set menu was great value.

We always eat at Bellini's when visiting Cardiff for a show or shopping trip. The service is second to none - food is excellent all round and very good value, especially the pre-theatre menu. Our favourite Italian restaurant in Wales - looking forward to our next visit

We went to the restaurant last night, service was fab , the lady who served us was lovely and even had a chat with us all. Food was cooked lovely and plenty of it . Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We visited twice during our stay and both meals for all three of us were excellent. We will return if we come back to Cardiff.

Dinner on a Saturday night, shared a starter and had the chicken with mushrooms and cream as a main. It was absolutely gorgeous, good soon tasty, service lovely with friendly staff. A lovely meal out, highly recommended.

My wife and I love Italian food, but Bellini's restaurant take the experience to another level the food was excellent as was the service and the atmosphere, everything you could hope for from a proper Italian restaurant.

After so many years of walking past decided to try this restaurant and WOW, have we been missing out. Nice atmosphere, great service and most importantly the most excellent food. Staff so friendly and helpful, the food was presented and cooked to perfection. Another visit soon.

A really lovely restaurant in the centre of Cardiff near the New Theatre. Excellent service with very friendly but efficient staff with reasonably priced delicious food. Not my first visit and won't be my last. Recommended!
