A very well priced proper diner to wait for the ferry!

I've never tasted anything as gorjus as this place, the food is out of this world and I came all the way from Belfast.. Highly highly recommend, the staff are lovely and so welcoming.. Defo be back again.... Yeeeoooo up the harbour rats lol lol

Busy American style dinner. There is a large free car park outside the restaurant. Large choice of Southern American style food on the menu. Staff were decent and the food was very reasonably priced.

Called to book a table for xmas eve and was told they weren't taking bookings and just to turn up and wait for a table Arrived on Xmas eve at 4.05pm only to be told they stopped serving at 4pm. Nice one Brooklyn Bay.

Amazing restaurant, food was delicious and well cooked, pricing wise, some things could have been cheaper for what they were but other things are a great deal.

Used to love this place, but hadn't been in a while. Went last week as it was my birthday. Will be my last visit. The Captain Jack burger has been removed from the menu, so went for the St Louis Steak Sandwich, medium well. The first piece was fine the next were raw, sent it back, by the time a new one came out the family had ate theirs, despite being hungry I just couldn't eat the second one, still raw bits of steak in it. Won't be back.

We ate here for lunch after a trip to Carnfunnock and were seriously not impressed. The prices for food for that type of restaurant were extortionate so we were expecting the food to be really good, but it was far from it. My husband had the burger off the Halloween specials menu, and the kids had burger and chips off the kids menu and all the burgers were so dry. I had the creamy chicken pasta dish and it was completely tasteless along with bad cuts of chicken throughout it. We’re just back from a weekend in London where we had a much nicer meal for much cheaper. I understand there is a cost of living issue at the moment and the hospitality industry is particularly hard hit by this, but Brooklyn Bay need to seriously reconsider their prices if a restaurant in Covent Garden is able to produce a better meal at a much cheaper price than a diner in Larne! The one star is for the service as the young guy who served us was super friendly and can’t be faulted.

Love Brooklyn Bay. Food is lovely and big portions for not so big a price. Staff very friendly.

We had 3 mega frys to carry out, no toast , bacon seemed on the verge of being off , not cooked properly , burnt tomato, very disappointed

We went here for dinner on the 11th night expecting it to be either really quiet or closing early but it wasn't either. Food is always good when we go here and the staff are always happy.

Burnt and I assume re heated Garlic bites and tough chewy overcooked chicken burger …. Slow service three chefs in the kitchen we could see on a go slow…. Restaurant was not busy - Plastic tubs with cooked chips etc sitting under the hot lamps so not cooked fresh to order And frozen onion rings on top of the chicken burger - no effort to make them fresh …. Hopefully an off night but won’t be rushing back sadly

I got a very small portion of lasagne, could of passed for a kids meal, staff kept rushing the grandchildren by asking if everyone was finished their meal 3 times when it was obvious we hadn't.

Really good food in a big restaurant, family were happy. Bit expensive but would return Returned twice lately and the food is still good quality. Sadly they removed the mixed grill from the menu but understandable with prices nowadays. Staff always accomodating

We had lunch here yesterday. Food looked fine but both dishes were luke warm at best. Only a couple of tables in use thus no atmosphere Restaurant was cold inside! Waitress was inattentive. The Silver Lounge on Larne main street is half the price and the food is hot and tasty! Brooklyn Bay has definitely has went down hill from previous visits.We Won't be back. If you like your tasty and warm this is not the place!! Try the Silver Lounge!!!

Called in Sunday 14th May 23, and enjoyed every mouthful. Got the chicken curry on a bed of fried rice, with garlic, chilli curly fries, the wife got lasagna, both came with garlic bread. Really tasty, chicken very tender, and lightly battered, curry on the money. Difinetly a return visit.

1st visit back since Covid, was not disappointed! Food was excellent, as was the service. Decor hasn't changed in years though, could do with a little 'refreshing', but appreciate with drop in trade over Covid, funds might not be overly available for this.

Needed a decent meal before catching Larne ferry home and were all pleasantly surprised with an excellent meal. We all had a variety of choices and all were very happy with our food and drinks. Wouldn't normally choose a Diner - but was perfect for what we needed and close to the ferry. Good service and clean facilities also helped our 5 star rating. Would def go again when we are back in NI

Avoid chuncky chips they cover them with strong flavouring which is totally unnecessary....

Food was lovely and such a big menu to choose from. The prices were not too bad either and the portion sizes were massive! There was quite a big kids menu with a lot of options too. We will definitely be back soon because we didn't get to try any of their desserts or their large cocktail menu. Lots of parking and the service was good as well on a Saturday afternoon.

I don't know who paid for these positive reviews? I'm not going to say the food was disgusting. The food was quite tasty but as long as you don't mind your food being cold upon arrival I guess that's fine. There were 4 of us yesterday, 3 of our group ordered sizzlers, only one was sizzling. Mine was a steak sandwich, plate would give you frost bite. We needed to get the cold chips replaced right away. My bread was like a car sponge ..I know times are tough but if you're going to charge 60 pounds for mains and drinks then I expect some hot, quality food. Aside from this the part about getting your table is a complete mess. Look, their food is tasty but supplied cold. We'll not be back but if you're not fussy, head on in. I'm only giving them 3 stars

Not great. Got our order wrong. No water brought to the table after we'd asked and left sitting for half an hour after we'd finished our meal. Had to ask for a dessert menu ourselves when they could have asked when clearing the table. So service was very poor and food not that great either. Its certainly gone down hill.

I really enjoyed our family Sunday dinner in Brooklyn bay. The staff were super friendly and professional and obviously loved their job. The food was super tasty even though we have fussy kids. The menu selection was original and really tasty. Brilliant atmosphere with all the lighting and layout. Would 100% recommend.

On holiday from England, we stumbled across this restaurant as we were staying in Larne. Called in late afternoon and the place did not look open. Our waitress was keen and jovial. I chose the baby back ribs and Brisket sandwich. My wife had the chicken pasta. Both dishes were exemplary and sizeable as

Can be hit or miss, seems to depend on who's on. Had a superb steak meal a month ago, so much so I went back again this month but the steak was very poor and myself and my partner felt Ill for a day or so afterwards. Not sure we'd go back now.

Save your money and eat somewhere else! Wanted to give them zero stars however I had to give then 1 star, as you can’t post a review unless you give it at least 1 star! We ordered food with a waitress who had been there just a week. She came back twice to double check the order which extended our waiting time. That’s fair enough and to be expected given her inexperience. However we also spoke to another waitress twice after that, in order to confirm our order and even then we had to remind them that we had ordered a “large” glass of wine. That ya was eventually sorted. It was 7:30 on Sunday evening and people were out for a meal with their families. Throughout our meal, other staff were moving tables and chairs in another part of the restaurant and with the high ceiling and the acoustics, the noise was like world war 3! We complained and the noise was reduced. We asked for “hot” plates to keep the food warm however when they arrived they were luke warm. We complained to the assistant manager and on arrival at our table she asked “what’s wrong”. Not a great start! The assistant manager said she would look at our bill to see what she could remove which again was fair enough. She came back and advised that she had removed the wine from our bill which meant that we got a £6 discount! That insult was the final straw. We got up, paid the bill and walked out, never to return! Shocking service and appalling customer relations!!
