Cafe Marmalade in Banbridge

My experience with Marmalade is every dish will makes you say wow - A taste you’ll remember 🤤 What you are waiting for it's Time to wake up your Taste Buds. Cafe is excellent for their Outstanding Service - always ready to serve, So I would say " You can’t eat here just once "

Great cafe on Bridge St, offering home made or locally sourced hot & cold food and drinks. The cooked breakfast is sublime. Reasonably priced. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

Delicious food, quality coffee and hot chocolate, brilliant staff and savoury food too - my niece told me to tell you all that it is her favourite coffee shop in Banbridge and that they have the best scones in town!

The 'Full marmalade' is their full sized cooked breakfast. I have had it on many occasions, and it is always cooked using the tastiest, and freshest ingredients. Not fatty or stodgy like some about. Give it a try.... BTW the coffee is first class too.

Stopped in for take away and was greeted with such a sweet staff, so welcoming. Prompt service and delicious breakfast baps!

Food is awesome and consistent everytime. Much nicer than blend and batch. Staff are very friendly and welcoming (even when we are a tad late for breakfast😁) my son and I eat here every Saturday. Highly recommended 10/10

Warning! Do not pass this coffee shop! I love a good coffee shop. Somewhere that does good food, has good coffee and has a friendly buzz. Café Marmalade has all that in spades. Its a popular place too. I didnt have to queue but one did develop after I was seated. I had the pancake stack- light, sweet, fluffy pancakes, dusted with icing sugar with flavour- filled bacon and a little jar of maple syrup. Stunning. The coffee was first rate and their warmed rhubarb pie was excellent. Next time you're shopping in Banbridge/ the Outlet or on your way passed on the A1 you need to stop here.

This was our first time at Cafe Marmalade and we loved it.

Cafe Maramalade has a great atmosphere, there's even an outdoor area to the front where you can bring your four legged friend for a coffee. The breakfast and lunches are the best in Banbridge. First class.

If you're in Banbridge doing a bit of shopping please call into Cafe Marmalade for a wee treat. The owner is such a charming gentleman and makes a fuss of you. Food great too.

It’s ok , nothing to talk about nothing special Went twice to make sure, other places in Banbridge are better .

An excellent location for lunch. The gentleman serving us was very friendly and so patient and helpful when my youngest was choosing her food and drink. The curry I had was excellent and the rest of our party agreed theirs was first class too. We will be back. Thank you.

Only recently discovered this wee jewel, nothing too much trouble for the staff, so friendly. Food was fabulous. Definitely worth a visit when in Banbridge.

We just visited Cafe Marmalade today and as usual it was a delightful experience. Staff are so friendly and nothing is a bother. Marmalade well worth a visit. Beware you might have a short wait as it is so popular.

Went in for lunch, had to wait awhile because it was busy but definitely worth the wait, I had green Thai curry my partner had fish & chips, food was lush & the customer service was great, polite friendly with big smiles 😁 Really lovely lunch Thank you 😊

20 minutes queue for a table, 10 minutes wait on food BUT it was worth every minute. The photos dont do it justice, every meal leaving the kitchen was like a work of art. Staff were exceptional and couldnt have done anything more for us 👏 bring Cafe Marmalade to Belfast!

We had to queue for 10 minutes. But was worth it. Friendly, courteous staff, great bistro menu. Coffee and food were excellent. My party of 4 loved everything they ordered. From French toast, to prawns with asparagus, to smashed avo on toast and Chicken Caesar. Highly recommended.

Wonderful and popular cafe. Food was brilliant. Coped well with my friend's allergies. Cheery service. Dog friendly (sat outside). Come early if you want a table.

We stopped here en route from Dublin to Belfast. It was a wonderful experience . The food was beautiful, locally sourced and the most delicious we've ever eaten. The staff are lovely. We'll be back, it's worth the hour's drive the food is so good!

Becoming a regular for us for its fresh scones/cream and great coffee. Can be busy with local people but that says it better than words on how good it is. Some seating outside with overhead protection which is good for dog friendly visits and when the sun shines in during the morning.

Passing through on our way to Dublin and stopped in at this cafe; a wonderful experience. The homemade pasta and quiche were diglightful and the iced teas were so refreshing and a friendly staff to boot. Highly recommend for lunch.

Brought my 86 year old mother to Cafe Marma...for the first time . Lovely decor, staff fantastic, coffee and scones tasty and reasonably priced, I will come back.

We had lunch here. The menu was excellent and varied from light bites to full meals. There were gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available. We had the soup of the day which was delicious. Halloumi fries would have benefited from additional salad and perhaps less halloumi. The service was excellent and very friendly. It’s a busy spot so avoid peak times or be prepared to wait. Excellent value for money.

After trying to find somewhere to go for lunch with my boyfriend we came across cafe marmalade. While the service was lovely, the food was not! My boyfriends burger was freezing, messy and not able to hold the burger shape he had to use a knife and fork with my tacos being laid flat on the plate all the juice made it incredibly soggy and not nice once again not being able to hold a taco shape when I went to hold it .

I have been with my dad, he loves Cafe Marmalade. Food was delicious. My daughter and I went for breakfast,it was delicious. Pancakes were unreal. Definitely recommend.

Had a yummy breakfast here, highly recommend. The porridge had tasty topping options - rhubarb and ginger for example which is what I chose. Great presentation of the food served on lovely crockery, comfortable atmosphere inside, friendly staff.

One word. Excellent. What a lovely place with lovely staff. First class service, where even the dog was served a bowl of water. The Thai Red Chicken Curry was very good. I would have liked it to have been more spicy but it's responding to the Western palate. Highly recommended.

Smoothie served in a small poor quality paper cup with a very thin straw placed in the slit of a coffee cup lid. Not suitable. Strange and terrible presentation. Poor.

Beautiful cafe on the hill in Banbridge. Have used this cafe on a number of occasions and never been disappointed. Lovely for a breakfast or 11's not forgetting a nice menu for lunchtime. Staff very friendly and cafe clean as a pin. Definitely 5 stars.

Called in for a takeaway lunch on the spur of the moment. Very welcoming atmosphere and the cafe very well set out for takeaway with one way system etc. Good selection on the menu and the food my wife and I got was really delicious. Looking forward to our next visit.

I have marked it down because of poor service. Food was usual high standard,though I took potato and leek soup and wheaten bread and water only.I sat down at a single table and waited over 5 minutes before my patience ran out.A couple sat to my right and a bespectacled mature waitress rushed to serve them as she obviously knew them and was all over them.She must have chatted for 5 minutes in total to them,ignoring me and another couple to my left side.I addressed her quite crossly and she eventually came to me. I had to tell her the people to my left needed serving.I observed the rest of service and she continued chatting to the same couple and other favourites despite the place crowded.I had to hail another waitress to order my coffee.Usually service is better so I can recommend.

Fabulous spot! Very clean, well run and tastefully decorated, well located on the Main Street in Banbridge. A lovely breakfast served promptly on nice warm pottery plates. Delightful and first class service with the most amazing scones. Can’t wait to go back

Beautiful food, generous portions and lovely staff. We visited as a family of 7 for Christmas brunch. We were offered a complimentary mimosa upon arrival which was a lovely touch. Every plate of food ordered was perfect, super tasty and fresh. The coffee is amazing too. Worth a visit.

Lovely modern cafe tastefully decorated. Delicious food- I had the tagliatelle with Turkey and bacon and it was really delicious. Very friendly and efficient staff and lots of yummy choices for desserts . I'll definitely be back .

Convinced by my son to try Cafe Marmalade, I am delighted to say that the lunch I experienced with a dear friend of mine was 2nd to none. Food was delightful, delicious and well presented. Popped in again. Had an open prawn salad on wheaten bread. Scrumptious and nice portion. Add water and machiato coffee and nice meal. Boss and staff are nice. Highly recommended.

This is by far the best Cafe in Northern Ireland, everything about them, from the staff to.their food us excellent.They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. They are also very patient and understanding with customers who have special circumstances, such as Alzheimer's. The food was absolutely delicious, I would recommend their classic burger, as well as the cod and chips (with tartar sauce). The suki tea is also worth trying, as its healthy as well as tasty. Overall it is always a 10/10 experience, and is my favourite cafe to go to.
