Lovely place, people are lovely, food tastes great, best hot chocolates on the island, staff are friendly, lovely atmosphere, I like the way even though its a comic themed cafe, it's not just another comic store.

Me and my fiancé had an absolutely wonderful lunch, staff and service were super friendly and patient with us. We loved the menu names and decor, 10/10, can't wait to go back x

Great quirky little place. Lots of comics and graphic novels lying around to look at, bits of artwork, including an alien head coming through the ceiling! Food and drinks were good

Absolutely love this place, it is funky & friendly, comicee & cool and the food is delicious. I had a couple of requests for a little suprise for a family members birthday and they went above and beyond to help. We visit the Isle Of Wight a few times a year to visit family and ComiCoffee is on our list of 'things to do' during our visits.

The tables are sticky, place looks and feels dirty. The place could do with a major deep clean. Expensive prices. I would NOT recommend this place at all

Food was okay. Staff were nice but found the place not v clean. Tables all needed to be wiped down. Also waitress used her hands to take out marshmellows for the hot chocolate instead of spoon/tongs and hands had been using machine/till etc before this. Disappointing visit

I ordered 2 cups of tea, and paid £6.45, sadly I didn't read the menu prior to ordering, unfortunately I won't be back with those prices, just for tea. I fully appreciate the costs of everything, but that is to much for hot water and tea bag.

This is a great little cafe, quite quirky. A really interesting little find. Coffee was excellent & staff friendly. They also serve food but I was just popping in for a caffeine fix. Just nice to go somewhere that isn’t a chain & customer service is important to them.

Great atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. The theming was great fun, and the food was superb. We had gluten free waffle’s and vegan ice cream, hot chocolate and vegan milkshakes. Waffle dishes were big.

Lovely staff but smallish portions

A great find. My wife and son who are right into all things Marvel loved the place. I just like a decent coffee and cake and I loved it too! Had a nice chat with the lovely owners. This will be a regular haunt and when elder son on his trips back from the mainland will be in his element.

We had the berry waffles and the vegan cheese and sausage pannini and they were delicious. Also had loose leaf teas which were great. The staff is super friendly and the decor rocks. An absolute gem!

My favourite coffee place on the Island

We barrelled in here with our crazy kids and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We especially liked the waffle but all the food was good. The milkshakes are delicious (but not the thick kind you may be expecting). I was even brought a glass of water when the waitress noticed I was breastfeeding my little one: the first time this has ever happened and much appreciated! Gold star 🌟

My husband and I have been here quite a few times now, and can honestly say it is amazing. We normally have a milkshake and panini. Today I had a loose leaf decaf tea with a mozzarella, pesto and sundried tomatoe panini, my husband had the strawberry, white chocolate and smarties milkshake with a bbq chicken panini. We both really enjoyed it (as always). In the passed we have had their valentines day cake boxes along with their normal cakes which are all very tasty. The staff are always very attentive, lovely and welcoming. Incredible place to visit.

We always make sure we visit everytime we areon the island. As always the staff were amazing and friendly. The waffles are so tasty and drinks were great! Dog friendly which our puppy loved! Would highly recommend.

Quirky comic themed cafe - great to go somewhere different- comics on tables took me back 40 years in an instant- tea was loose leafed and very tasty although a little on the pricey side- but we don’t mind paying for quality…seats not the most comfortable but overall would definitely recommend and return when in town again 👍

A bit of a disappointment - at least on the service side….slow service meant I had to ask for a table to be cleared…and when it was the staff kindly felt it appropriate to wipe the debris into my lap - def something to work on - although should it take pointing out that customers don’t want to walk into dirty tables full of the last persons cups and plates, have to ask that they are removed, or have crumbs swept into their lap.

Lovely little coffee show. Ideal for comic lovers. Only had coffee, which was good.

Stopped off to get a bite to eat and a shake..ordered a bbq chicken melt and a dark Knight (oreo) shake. After about 5mins my shake came out. It was more on the room temperature side than cool or cold which on a sunny day like today was needed. After about 11mins my bbq chicken melt panini arrived. Looked lovely how ever the bottom of the paint was burnt and the bbq chicken didn't taste anything like bbq chicken. Very disappointing. Considering there were fewer than 6 customers it was a very poor first experience.

Really enjoyed our lunch in comicoffee. I had the Buddha bowl and it was very nice.

The coffee was alright, a bit burnt though. They offered a variety of simple foods. I was most amused by their milkshakes which all had pun names with different characters. The mint choc chip drink looked amazing. Very kid friendly and fun to just sit around, there are comic books at every table. Nice staff.

We spotted this place when we were shopping in Newport. It is not a huge place and was full but the staff offered to hold a table for us if we could come back in 30 mins. We came back and were quickly seated. My son had a waffle with Nutella and strawberries which he loved. Myself and my husband had BBQ chicken melt panninis which were good portions and hot. I also had a milkshake (lovely) and then we took coffee's away. The coffees were soo good that for the rest of our holiday we popped in every day for one. This is such a nice plan to go. We saw lots of people unable to get a table so perhaps one day they might get a bigger premises - I am sure they could fill it.

Everything everyone's already said about this place, but one extra key thing.... we got to really enjoy our drinks before the food arrived, proving it was proper freshly cooked. Their waffle iron is clearly a thing of beauty and their bacon are huge, fat bacony rashers! Visit at the start of your holiday to leave time to come again before you go home!

Desperately needing a watering hole for a drop off in the hot weather, was chosen by our son for a visit. Amazing little cafe with loads to see and do while waiting. Food was fantastic, shakes and drinks were very much enjoyed and very reasonably priced. Excellent service. Will definitely be back again

We found this by chance on a very hot day when we were looking for somewhere serving smoothies. The result here was excellent and the staff are very pleasant.

What a great place. Stopped in for a waffle and milkshake and I'm so glad we did. The food was great and the decor was so cool. Any comic book fan would be in 7th heaven here. Batman on the TV. Comic books to read and so many cool toys on the shelves. And to top it off the staff were all so friendly. Anyone visiting Newport should definitely drop by!

I love this small owned business. I haven’t been here for a long while since moving away from the IOW but when I did visit, the food was always great. I loved their waffles. The concept is unique and really cool for nerds.

The food (vegan and gf waffles - so rare!) was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by three generations of my family. Milkshakes and coffee also amazing! Staff so friendly and helpful and lots of cool merch around the room. Highly recommended.
