Just want to write a review about the great service we had on Mothers’ Day. We had such a nice experience thanks to our waitress, Mariam. She really took care of us (two mums on the table for Mothers Day) and was great with our 3 year old daughter too. Really friendly and attentive service - thank you!

Like so many others, Chiswick is one of the best Cote brasseries. The service, food and atmosphere were excellent and it's worth meeting up with friends or family for something to eat, drink and enjoy!

First visit to Cote Chiswick. Good feeling to the place. Weekday night so not too busy or noisy. Excellent meal and usually good service - not over attentive, but on hand when you need someone. 🙏

Cote is always an enjoyable experience but Cote in Chiswick is by far my favourite. All our special occasions are celebrated at this Cote and we never have a bad experience. The staff are WONDERFUL! They are charismatic, friendly, helpful and kind - always going the extra mile to ensure we have a fantastic experience. The food is always delicious and served piping hot. Really great experience , loved the food.

The quality of the food isn't great – a lot of changes in the past year or two. It is evident that the quality and portion sizes have decreased in order to maintain their price point. The service is hit and miss – mostly friendly, but we recently waited 45 minutes after placing our orders to follow up for the food only to find that it had been forgotten.

Had breakfast here a few days ago with my fiancée. WOW! French toast and eggs benedict, both 10/10. We must've walked in right as they opened but we were welcomed in warmly and seated promptly too, really nice to see staff starting their shift in such lovely spirits. Got a couple croissants too, they were rather good, if a little flaky for my taste (my partner nearly inhaled hers, she absolutely loved hers). A really lovely place for food in Chiswick, definitely coming back.

Cibo veramente di bassissima qualità. La "French onion soup" aveva il sapore di cibo in scatola precotto e riscaldato. Il "Beef Bourguignon" preparato con pezzi , o meglio direi straccetti di spalla di bovino ( che può essere ottimo se si vuole preparare un brodo di carne, ma assolutamente no per una Bourguignon) , il peggiore che abbia mai mangiato. Dato che si tratta di una catena di ristorazione, penso che le pietanze siano preparate con "la stessa cura e la stessa sapienza" in tutte le filiali. Infine accenno sul costo, 2 zuppe di cipolla più due " favolosi" Beef Bourguignon e 2 bicchieri di vino : 106 euro .

Superb service and staff were spot on.

I have cheese souffle for starters, a bit chewy for me and the duck with orange sauce was always good.

We had a very good time for dinner in this restaurant. Menu is full of French meals and the food was delicious (beef Bourguignon was perfect). The staff were very welcoming too. For sure I’ll come back when back to UK.

Wish I had read the reviews. Seems the replies from Cote will "use the comments constructively" doesn't really mean much when in actual fact food and service continue to be sub par. Let's start with service. Atrocious.4 different waiters jostling to take food and / or drinks orders. When the drinks arrived just plonked on table. Alcohol glass put in front of clearly underage daughter, we let it go. We looked through the menu and decided what we wanted, waiter comes over to take the order. We were a party of four and three of the mains we asked for were not available, pity the waiters didnt tell us this when giving us the menus when we first sat down. Next, Sharing main put in front of wrong people, again no biggie, but when we told the waiter it was for the opposite pair, here was the unbelievable response " I'll just leave it here anyway, maybe you can pass it over" this was a board of meats and accompanying sauces!! Surely the whole point of waiting on a table is to put plates in front of the right people! Food, well, bland and uninteresting. Over cooked. The chicken was dry. The minute steak tough. I do so hope that the restaurant not only take these and other comments "constructively" but actually make some positive changes so that ALL customers get great service and great food.

I had cote burger and chips. Burger was overcooked and dry. Only ate half of it. Not the first time I've walked away from meal at Cote and thought never again. This time I mean it. Lots of other eateries in Chiswick that deserves my custom!

We have eaten at Cote Chiswick many times and have always enjoyed it, friendly staff, excellent food and service.

Cote is one of the better chains, with the food always being of a certain standard. This one is our local, so decided it was about time to leave a review, seeing as we eat here quite a bit. This was a meet up with six friends for the Christmas season and it was a great afternoon. Drinks arrived within ten minutes and the waitress took our food order without too much ado. Our dishes were good, the meat platter was excellent and all v.happy. Every time I eat here, I wonder why we don’t do it more ? Loud but pleasant afternoon.

Gorgeous atmosphere! My parents, my son and myself had dinero with no reservation and they prepared a table for us in a moment. Excellent service and waiters and waitresses were very nice with us.

I use Uber eats to order mostly the pork belly dish, it’s my favourite when I’ve had it in the past. It arrived very cold, (this is not the first time) the dauphinois potatoes were such a small portion not worth the price. Not to mention to order took almost an hour.

Nice place, bright and roomy. Breakfast only menu only 12pm then day menu. We were there before 12pm but they were happy to wait to take our order.

Enjoyed food BUT when needed the toilet/ loo downstairs found it dirty, NO toilet paper and nothing to dry hands. At 1.15 pm that is not acceptable & I noticed a staff member used it and went back upstairs without washing hands. Could you train staff?

We go to the Chiswick Cote regularly and are always welcomed warmly. The occasional complimentary cremant is always appreciated. The food is amazing value for money and top quality. Always have a lovely evening there.

Great food great service and lovely atmosphere

We have been coming here since it opened. Amazing at first but after lockdown has been gradually getting worse. Value for money less good but quality of cooking absolutely awful today. The English breakfast texture appeared just re warmed / poached appearance if potatoes , sausage and mushrooms from a tin. Not appetising yo look at and even worse to eat. Coffee was and toast was fine and that's about it. Won't be venturing back unless desperate.

Went for breakfast, that was good. Than went for a quick lunch by myself, and was a complete different experience. Service is painstakingly slow, and inattentive. Finished the starter, and it took like 10 minutes for the dish to be cleared. When the main arrived, i had to ask the manager to replace my potatoes as they were cold. She offered no apology whatsoever, just said ‘I’ll bring you new one”. After that you couldn’t see her on the floor at all. By the time the new side arrived all the rest of the meal gone cold too. I will not be back to this branch.

Wonderful service and breakfast

Lunch just ok. Went for the mussels that were totally bland and without any savour. Waiter was nice.

This chain is usually reliable for good food, service and value. On this occasion only the waiting service was acceptable- and the manager or head of service was rather indifferent to concerns raised over the quality of the food. An artichoke salad had tinned artichoke, tired tomatoes, gloopy dressing, a small portion of leaves and croutons that tasted like stale dough balls. On request these were changed but the replacement was hardly better. My partner’s main course of sea bass was fine but my special - pork belly cassoulet was awful. The belly park was stringy, the sausage and ( I think) chicken was tough and tasteless and the whole dish tired and unappealing.

I've been to other Côte, but this one was disappointing. I already shared my opinion with the management. Food - mainly delicious, reasonably priced. Be specific about your allergies. They always listen. Please don’t order the fries; it's always too dry. Service - in terms of food preparation time, no fault. Some of the servers are really good and polite, while one or two need a bit more training. A note to the restaurant - please don’t check on your diners every 5 minutes. It isn't very pleasant. Atmosphere - something with the acoustic that makes the noise unbearable when it's too busy. The tables are arranged far too close for my liking. And one of the waiters complained about the tight space herself. So, make some room for improvement.

Whilst there was a problem with the steak it was dealt with well and problem sorted out

Enjoyed our experience and would visit again

My husband and I visited this particular branch of Côte on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast and I was given brown moulding avocado. When I raised this with the manager he ordered to bring me another item free of charge. I asked for another potato rosti. The waiter brought out a smashed up potato rosti. I was shocked and asked the waiter why the food item I was given looked so bad and unpresentable and he just laughed, put the plate down and walked off. I then had to call the manager again who was equally as horrified as me to see that the chef and kitchen had allowed food to come out to customers like this. It’s fair to say we won’t be visiting the Chiswick branch again, the food was bland, of poor quality and bad service. I expected better from Côte!

Travelling all the way from Australia to revisit our old neighbourhood in London, we decided to give your restaurant a try, and we were delighted we did. The warmth and attentiveness of your team made us feel incredibly welcome, just like being back home. The bartender and waiter deserve special mention for their outstanding service - they balanced professionalism and friendliness flawlessly, which significantly enriched our overall dining experience. Our visit to your restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip, and it left us eager to return. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Went for late lunch on Thursday. Good Cote. Service could have been a bit better but nothing bad. The manager has been flirting with male guest and kept forgetting about other tables. Had bloody marry-and it wasn't the greatest- no garnish-tasted rather spicy no much flavour. Croque Monsieur was over toasted but edible and the star of the 3 course set menu was the best in a long time chocolate mousse. Improvement could be implemented and is not bad grab for cocktail and 3 course meal for £30.

My wife and I were on our way out to see Barbie the movie, and as a date night we stopped off at the restaurant for a rather special meal. Cotes did not let us down and we had the Rosie and celebration of the Barbie experience.

I will not return to this place. The staff, not the lovely waiter, but the management, were rude, unprofessional and tried to shuffle us around from one table to another, apparently due to an error on their part but actually because they wanted to favour another customer over us. We felt this and it spoiled our evening. I had the duck confit, it was clearly precooked and reheated as were the vegetables which accompanied it which had the tang of being cooked for sometime. For the price paid and the location, I would advise people to think twice, there are many better places in Chiswick than this.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience at this Côte. When we first arrived we were offered an option of three different tables for two people. We chose one, and just as we were about to order a member of the staff came and said they made a mistake and that the table we were sitting at had been reserved by someone else and asked us to move to another table when there were plenty of other tables available. This made us feel devalued as customers. The food was average, nothing outstanding. We won’t come back.

Excellent food and terrific service. The chef prepared a delicitious off-menu meal that was beyond expectation. Nothing is too much trouble, and its popularity is obvious. Great restaurant.

We have been regular visitors to Cote in Chiswick and it has always been a good local restaurant. Tonight however was a disaster, when I told the manager about our issues with our meal, he couldn't have been more rude and condescending. We will never visit Cote again. Avoid - you have been warned!

We have tried in the past Cote, but I wouldn't return to this one. They took 20 min to clean the table; after we ordered, the starter came reasonably quickly, although we got our mains an hour later. I ordered steak frites and my husband a salad. The steak frites came as one piece stake, overcooked, dried, lukewarm, chewie and was very difficult to cut with the knife. When the lady that looked after our table came, she asked me how is the food, and I told her to take it back as I won't eat that. The manager all this time was nowhere; even when I first asked him if we could sit outside, he said yes, and would send someone to clean, but he forgot it, hence the waiting. While he brought us the bill, he said that he removed the Stake from the bill because I didn't like it, instead of admitting that he served a shoe sole, expecting people to eat it. Unfortunately, I left hungry. No good experience at all.

I have a soft spot for Côte. Was always consistently good food and good service. But last few visits the service had been, well, a bit shambolic. But what was most disappointing this evening was the lovely tall windows were shut on a lovely warm summer evening. Such good memories from last summer with the windows thrown open like a proper French brasserie. We Brits love a bit of al fresco when the weather gets warm. Why in earth would you not open those lovely windows?

We were pleasantly surprised. Inexpensive lunch of the best quality. The service is also courteous and very friendly. A place where you feel comfortable to linger.

Not great for gluten or dairy free options, burnt, dry toast served with wilted salad, didn't look great so had to ask for olive oil to make it slightly better and slow service surprising as not very busy. All unfortunately not very good.

How disappointing, Côte has changed… I’ve been going here for years, but on the last couple of occasions it has really deteriorated. Portion sizes are noticeably smaller, ingredients are missing from dishes (and this is not communicated when ordering), and the quality of the ingredients seems to have suffered. Whilst inflation could account for this, other restaurants have been creative with their offerings to reduce the impact for diners. It would be great if Côte could manage to do the same. This is a lovely location, and used to be a real gem in the neighbourhood. Hopefully this can be the case again.

Amazing salmon dish from the spring menu just made my day and Joel was so nice and gave us excellent service I will recommend anyone looking for a light healthy meal to go give it a go menu is great thanks Joel for recommending the almond cake at the end.

Was a very nice 99. birthday dinner for my father in law. Even a baby portion of a meal was possible for my daughter, who is almost a year old. It was very delicate and served well, the service was very friendly. All in all, it was a very good experience.

Located on Turnham Green Terrace this restaurant has limited outside seating for couples but has a pleasant indoor area. Some may find the amount of traffic passing by unpleasant for an outdoor dining experience. The food and service are excellent, proving to be good value for money.

This is by far the best Côte in West London. They were quite busy as it was a bank holiday so I had to wait a little while for the bill at the end. Apart from that the food was such great quality and portions and the set menu is also great value for money. Staff are helpful and cheerful and made my little girl feel special.

Was somewhat disappointed by our experience at Cote Chiswick this afternoon. We were keen to give it a go with our kids (reasonably behaved 6 and 4) as we’ve been looking for places outside our usual rotation with a good children’s menu; Cote seemed to fit the bill. We were seated promptly and the restaurant wasn’t terribly busy, which was a plus. However, it took a fair bit of time before we were approached by a server. We placed our orders, specifying that the mushroom sauce should be omitted from our daughter’s chicken and instead of making any note of it, our server simply assured us that the chicken would come plain anyway (despite the menu stating otherwise). Lo and behold, the chicken came with mushroom sauce and had to be sent back. It was replaced promptly (thank goodness, as hanger was setting in on the 6yo), but then it took nearly a half hour from that point for the adult entrees to arrive. By then, both kids had finished eating and were understandably restless sitting at the table - my husband and I then had to rush through our meal. It would’ve been really nice if we could’ve eaten together, as was the point of dining out. Requested water for the table at the time of ordering, which didn’t arrive until we asked a second time for it when the meal was nearly finished. I will say the food was of good quality/freshly prepared/tasted very nice, however the experience was lacking due to subpar service.

Great food and excellent decor... BUT! This was our second time, having loved it the first time, but was let down a bit by the service. Took 20 mins to order. Then, the waiter was, I suppose, trying to be familiar or funny, but came across as a bit rude. He had a bit of a casual and condescending manner about him. Not sure if we'll go back. Ain't that a shame.

Fine French dining. Ordered from the prix fixe menu. Appetizer, main & desert. Very reasonable price for excellent food. Seasoned perfectly, reasonable portion size.

May 2023. This was our favourite local restaurant for many years but never again. This was the third or fourth time my partner had the Steak Frites and had to send it back as it was too chewy. The chips were sift and cold. (Another diner on an adjacent table made the same complaints and sent his back also.) A number of other alternatives he wanted instead were not available. We left. Our meal together ruined as I ate fish pie and he had nothing (he went for a burger after). Very disappointing. I can no longer recommend this chain. After a change of ownership it has definitely gone downhill. They must be sourcing cheaper cuts of meat, but that doesn't work for them or their customers. Hedge fund efficiency doesn't fit with running a good restaurant chain. Very sad!

Very good waiting staff especially Joel. The good news ends there. Table starters of baguette and olives were measly .the butter was very good but there was not enough bread for the amount of butter. A starter of cheese soufflé was so dire it’s hard to describe. It was like a heavy three dimensional omelette with a strange thin pouring sauce. A horrible experience. Breton Chicken with Dauphinoise potatoes and a pepper sauce was also terrible. Very very dry reheated chicken which had a mouldy flavour probably due to stale herbs. Pepper sauce was thin and tasteless but luckily there was not much of it. The Dauphinoise potatoes were an insult thick dry overcooked lumps of potato sitting in a yellow curdled mess of a sauce , it seemed it had been assembled rather than cooked as a dish. I actually thought there was no point in sending anything back or complaining because it was so bad that whoever had produced would not be able to rectify it. A depressing Sunday lunch , never to be repeated

Great food and service as always. However, why when you order a starter in this instance calamari (the best) the minute it’s finished your plate is taken away and minutes later your main arrives. You may as well serve the starter as a side! I did ask the waiter if he could delay the main as I had experienced this issue before. Unfortunately the chef had already sent it to be served. The waiter explained politely that some people are in a rush and don’t want to wait too long for the next course. That’s fine, but I think it would be a benefit if when the staff take an order, they could ask the customer when they would like the next course. It puts me off ordering a starter, knowing how quickly the main will be served. Other than that Cote is excellent.

Cote used to be fabulous, but this Cote is lacking. The last two times I've been they've stated by giving us the menu then proceeding to list everything they are missing. Normally missing a few things is normal but I am pretty sure the waitress listed something like 10 things lacking, one of those, for example was that we can have the burger but they've got no buns (what?) , or that there's no lamb, or tart for starter or main etc etc. Toilets are always disgusting every time I've been. Beef Bourguignon is not as it should be, grilled chicken lacking flavour and dauphinoise potatoes barely cheesy, so beware when ordering. Otherwise, I recommend the chicken liver parfait and sea bass. Service is good.

It used to be very good, a restaurant that could not go wrong... Until ot went wrong. Staff, good, everything. It is such a disappointment those days, especially during breakfast service.

Amazing as always! Alas, the old couple couple next to me chose to accost a patron - whom they thought was complaining to management. It turned out they were just friends!! No apology was offered by the elderly pair they just carried on as if they hadn’t caused a scene! Shameful in my opinion ! But the staff, as always, rose above it and served both tables with the utmost professionalism. I couldn’t have done it!… Anyway. Love cote Chiswick! Will be back…

Cote in Chiswick is a great place. Good food and service. Great for some traditional dishes from bretagne.
