Good if good band on , did not sell my drink smirnoff so that was a no to stay, are come back, stair, s could be dangerous so care needed i might go back to see any changes, but nothing drawing me personally vodka is my drink but has to be smirnoff 💖

I visited the Frisky Bear with friends when on holiday to N Ireland from Canada. Recommended by a local Holywood resident and after reading the reviews, I had some high hopes. I was not disappointed; we stayed for hours. Good pints, great people, even better nuts. I’m allergic to nuts myself, but I was told they were world-class. Will be visiting Belfast again soon and will certainly be taking the train in to Holywood for a few drinks at the ‘Bear when I’m in town.This bar is a must-see!

Great little bar went there with a mate after going for an Indian. Pub quiz was on after the Champions Leafue game and everyone very friendly and welcoming - good atmosphere and will visit again!

A great City bar. The nuts are in date, the finest selection of Tayto crisps this side of Tandragee and bar staff that compliment the drinking and banterous nature of the patrons. I'll definitely be back

Called to this excellent establishment today without a booking, was welcomed by the most friendly staff I've come across in years. Best peanuts I've ever had, beautiful beer garden and wonderful regulars that make everyone so welcome. You must visit this pub. I'll certainly be back.

I call in here periodically to meet an old friend, who is, not a regular, part of the furniture. As I have said it is a pub and a damned good one at that. Service is good, staff are good and drink is drink. There is a nice roof terrace, if you smoke. I used to but I still like it, the terrace, that is. To gush over this place would be wrong, it is its own self. You’ll either like it or not but give it a try!

This is what a proper pub should be,good drinks,friendly staff,regulars,and no bull,it is not a pub pretending to be an eaterie or an eaterie pretending to be a pub,it welcomes all sorts of people from bank managers to builders labourers and has wonderful music at the week ends.This pub is a must if you are in Holywood or for that matter if you are in N Ireland.Possibly it is the best pub in the world.

Frisky bar is a great bar. Small but had a good outdoor area now! Always has good live music on and good selection of drinks which are reasonably priced!

Great wee pup and beer garden. Lovely quirky atmosphere. Great sports bar with a big screen. Pleasant laid back staff and regulars.

Brand new decor, clean bathrooms and cocktails = good. Dead on weeknights which is a shame.
