German Doner Kebab in Camden

First of all when gdk opened the portions were good yesterday I went to Hammersmith and boy oh boy half a box of mix and fries when I said something they said there’s no salad I’ve been to the Shepherd’s Bush one you get what you pay for and Camden also have put less in the box not good at all won’t be going there again I’ve been going since the Camden one opened and the portions there have changed why 7.49 I think I paid price is going up and up and they are cutting the.amount of food you get no good at all

I visited GDK ELTHAM 08/08/22, I placed my order Doner Durum Beef Wrap, I had no idea that I will be prepared with 3 different types of sauces, I was not asked what I would like or don’t like in my Durum, the staff preparing my Wrap got really stroppy and almost did not change my wrap, only after I explained that I have dairy intolerance and that I did not want yoghurt sauce on my wrap, who would want yoghurt on a Doner wrap, whilst waiting for my order to get prepared the server attempted to charge me for this order, it seemed like the transaction did not go through although I entered my pin I notified the server that I had already entered my pin she asked me to do the transaction again so I re-entered my pin again, the wrap was not even filing after I finished, I left the store still feeling hungry, so I decided that I will go over to Burger King across the road and purchased a Whopper Burger, after I got home I checked my bank account to see that GDK ELTHAM has double charged me, i called the store to be told there was no one there to handle this refund, that I should call back tomorrow, when i did call next day, to speak with a very not helpful manager his name is Alvin, told me me that the money will be back in account in 3 days, well today is Monday money still not in my account I rang the store again only to speak to the very not helpful Alvin again yet he’s telling to send him my account details and statement and it will take a further 3 days, ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous, I will not be visiting any of there stores, total waste of money, I think I am going stick to having a proper Turkish style Kebads, at least they ask if would like sauce or not……

Visited the German Doner Kebab in Camden this evening. 1st and last time! Even though the guy on the till repeated our order, we still got totally the wrong food. Not only was it the wrong order, but it was cold and bland . May have been more understanding if it had been busy, but there were only 4 customers. Worst food I have ever spent money on in London.

Been here ( and other German Donor shops) several times. A nice pleasent change from the often greasy Donors found elsewhere. Had the Gym box twice recently and will order extra beef meat next time. FOOD is good , always the same quality. Yes food can be a bit 'sterile' but never disappointing. Of course some good 'normal' Donor shops offer a much wider range of meats and are terrific.

One of the worse place to go, staff with so much attitude. Everyone call them self manager. They need to go anger management class first. Do not recommend.

Why use a chemically induced waffle instead of bread? The sauces that came with it were chemical too. I had all this as part of the chicken doner. The whole affair was slimy and unnatural. I felt sick afterwards. At least it only cost £6.

A bit disappointed. Heard great things about it but I’ve had a delivery trice and both times it was stone cold. It want that great either.

The best kebab I ever had was in Paris in 1998. I haven’t had one as good until now. Until I visited this kebab place in Camden. The kebabs here are delicious. The bread is wonderful. Really unique. Great value. Friendly staff. I was treated like a member of their own family. 5 star customer service!

Tried this food whilst in Camden, donner spring rolls, wow. The menu is so different to the usual kebab shops and tastes great. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. I'll be returning when back in the area.
