Food is always beautifully presented and so delicious! Lots of choice for vegetarians and they were also happy to replace the meat in the special. Very friendly staff, always glad to come back whenever we're in Newtownards

Haptik has it's own style and is very popular. We go back there from time to time. Street parking is available as well as off street parking. Friendly staff

Great coffee shop - not a restaurant

A slightly unique eating house that specialises in brunch with some stunning dishes of healthy and delicious food. Coffee is also good. Opens at 09.00 until 15.00 with the kitchen closing at 14.30. Can become very busy indeed.

We’ve become frequent visitors of Haptic in Newtownards for brunch and have been consistently delighted with our experiences. It’s quite remarkable how each visit, even though we order the same dishes, offers a unique and enjoyable taste experience. The dedication and meticulousness put into preparing each dish are truly astonishing. While the prices aren’t the lowest, the value you receive in terms of quality and taste is extraordinary. It’s definitely worth it for the incredible, healthy, and delicious food you get.

Quirky. Food can be like a colourful explosion, with little extras like pomegranate seeds . Good for brunch.

A little pricier than most places in Newtownards, but worth every penny for the high quality meals, service, and atmosphere

I’ve become a right coffee snob…. But of the 100s of coffee places I’ve been to in this year, this was the best coffee I’ve had. The food was also absolutely incredible, prepared with all of the seasoning and balance id expect of a professional restaurant and made for a chefs palette.

Great spot for coffee, breakfast, brunch and more. Quality of food was first class. Friendly staff and prompt setvice.

Food is good i think sometimes they make things more complicated than needs be just so it look’s pretty but it does taste good. not good for picky eater

Disappointing!! the Shakshuka was Very GOOD but it is clearly a baked ''egg'' not baked ''eggs'' per the menu description and for £11.00 two eggs should not be a push for this dish! Not good value for money, particularly when compared to competitors. Service wise it's basic and considering "the these days" Table to Service Provider ratio of 6 tables to 4 Team members, I'm being very, very positive in that assessment. Also describing a dish to a customer when they point out an issue when they have read the menu description ordered based on it then eaten the dish is really not the correct justification for the complaint!

Just dropped in for a freshly brewed coffee and a shared rather sweet traybake with my wife while we were out shopping in Newtownards. All lovely. Noticed a rather extensive menu and tasty specials board which made me think about looking for an opportunity to go out for breakfast or brunch.

First time in, absolutely loved the food: obviously made by someone who cares about his/her trade. Coffee was excellent too. Not sure what the other reviews are complaining about the size of the cups for. If you want oversized dishwater, go to Starbucks. Service was very good and friendly. Price was very reasonable. Would easily return again.

Great spot that we never tire of! Food is always fantastic and my iced latte hit the spot on a warm day 😁 Breakfast roll and shakshuka! Took no time at all and service is always friendly.

Visited here this morning with my wife. Our first time at Haptik, and have to say it was really excellent. Service was top notch and food was so delicious. Coffee was great as well. I had the Huevos Rancheros and my wife had the Baghdad Eggs. Really really good - would highly recommend. 5 stars ⭐️

First time in Haptik Newtownards, first class! Had a gorgeous brunch and fabulous coffee. Very different experience to Haptik Belfast.

Had a noodle salad, it had chicken, noodles, pink ginger, edema beans, pomegranate, peanuts, coriander, spring onions, pea shoots, carrots, Vietnamese dressing, lettuce, cucumber, chai seeds, chilli pepper and a pink sauce which was either made of the pink ginger or mayo+pomegranate? This isn't a well written review.. I'm just writing the ingredients for prosperity.. it's genuinely the nicest meal out I've had in an extremely long time

No matter the time of day, the staff are always friendly and give you the best experience. The food is amazing no matter what you go for. Well priced for what you get and can’t complain about the number of flavours that come out of it for brunch/lunch!

Arrived today for brunch , table of four Seated promptly and service prompt also . Exceptionally knowledgeable staff and super friendly . Food was beautifully presented and large portions , tasted sooo good ! Coffee after also excellent . Staff so busy , but always appeared polite and happy .Super venue .Lovely if it was open later in day / evening .😊

Probably the best coffee I’ve ever had. Enjoyed a very flavourful flat white and some peach waffles. Food is excellently presented and all tastes amazing. Staff are very friendly and service is fast.

I think this is my happy place. Run by a very cool couple who are well travelled and you can tell. The food, the entire menu in fact is delish. Yes I've probably eaten most things on it. Bit of mexican, bit of middle east, lots of creative fusion on offer, all super fresh plates which look as incredible as they taste. It's wonderful for brunch. Always busy for good reason

Fantastic discovery! Haptic is a hidden gem. Contemporary space serving an eclectic all-day brunch menu with a twist and fabulous coffee. Staff are all lovely and friendly. Second visit in a month and can’t wait to go back. The food is a revelation with a Middle Eastern vibe. Expect your plate to be a riot of colour, tastes and textures - stunning visually in presentation and a feast for your tastebuds. We’re slowing working our way through the menu. Haptic wouldn’t be out of place in Shoreditch or Amsterdam but thankfully it’s in Newtownards! A pity I can only award five stars, it’s worth six ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you want a modern brunch experience, this place is a great option. I love baghdad eggs and huevos rancheros but everything seems great. Coffee is great too.

Very fast and friendly service, food was delicious with great portions sizes and well priced. To expect a slight wait to be seated as it is a busy place. Alternative options were available for diary and vegan.

Food was as good as it always is

Tasty, healthy, nice wait staff. Baghdad eggs - Beautiful. Coffee - Very good. All of the plates look and taste good. The staff and friendly. I’ve been back a few times with family - we usually have to wait for a table when trying to seat 4+ people, but worth the wait.

The chef deserves an award. The most delicious food I have eaten! Just wow! Not your average meal, all items on the menu have their own flair. Was worth the wait in the wet and cold due to being so full. Definitely worth a visit.

This cafe would hold its own anywhere in the world, including California, Portland, and Seatle. The food stands out. The coffee is tops and the staff are amazing. I go here at least half the days I'm in belfast each visit.

I’ve been twice in 2 weeks and the food is absolutely spectacular!! Had the Avocado Smash - beautifully presented and so tasty. The waiters were really friendly - the service was quick and efficient. Well done - you are obviously doing things right - the place was full, and everyone’s food looked amazing. Great attention to detail.

Beans on toast! Wowsers not your usual beans on toast...

Went on the recent bank holiday. It is a lovely space with lots of seating so wasn’t waiting too long. Nice menu in terms of food and drink that was served very promptly. Just a little noisy at the table beside where the washed up crockery was put. Barista actually listened to a request for a strong hot chocolate and it was really good. The banana bread was also lovely, could had had perhaps a tiny bit more sauce as it did get a bit dry for me personally. I also think their opening hours could be slightly longer, this was my third attempt trying to visit them as they close at 3pm! All the staff were very nice. Highly recommend visiting!

Vegan beans, delicious 😋, great value

Every time I come to Haptik I find it difficult to choose off the menu as everything is guaranteed to be tasty and freshly prepared. Today I had the eggs on sourdough. Absolutely delicious and my eggs were perfectly cooked. All washed down with a latte. The staff always provide a warm welcome with some craic too.

Absolutely fantastic experience, consistently. A superb destination for breakfast with a great menu. Service is excellent and staff are also very knowledgeable about their products.

Ate here for the first time today after hearing great things about their food and was not disappointed. I had the savoury waffle and I didn't want it to end! Absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Staff and so friendly too. All in all I would highly recommend a visit.

Went for brunch . Great service, friendly, informative and efficient. I had the Mexican breakfast and my wife the baked eggs. Both were superb. Fresh ingredients, a mouthful of different flavours bursting . No wonder it’s so busy. But tables do turn round quickly. The coffee is excellent as is the peppermint tea. Go here. Do yourself a kindness .

Got a mexican breakfast to go. It's the only meal that I don't feel guilty for spending money on (in this economy)-it's worth every penny. Whatever chef accidentally dropped some feta on to it, well I love you. It was busy but your staff are all so welcoming. Great food, great vibes ❤

Recently moved here and cannot believe I've never tried haptik, has to be the nicest food I've eaten in a long time, literally bursting with flavour, they say you eat with your eyes and this proves it, the colour on the plate was just beautiful & most definitely matched by the taste! Cannot wait to try everything on the menu!

By far the best place in Newtownards (if not in the whole area) for breakfast/brunch. Delicious vegan options. And so gorgeous. It's like eating art on the plate. Homemade 'beans on toast' were mind-blowing. Definitely worth a visit!

Have literally just left Haptik after enjoying the best brunch we've ever had. Staff here are fabulous, menu is amazing and the food is delicious. We ordered, banana bread....omg....unreal, a breakfast bap and also a Mexican egg dish. I had the nicest cappuccino I've ever had...had to get two. Coffees are super. We will be back here very soon and I already know what I'm going to order. Thank you guys, this place is very special.

Probably my favourite artisan coffee shop in Northern Ireland. Excellent service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great place to get some work done and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Great coffee and superb food; the savoury waffle stack is hard to beat!

If you haven’t been to Haptik, you need to ask yourself, “why not?!” This place is always buzzing - the atmosphere is great and the staff have always been really friendly and polite. The food is great. There’s a good selection on the menu and the specials are creative and tasty! The Bloody Mary Beef Boxty was particularly tasty and previous specials such as the Aussie Beef Tacos were a personal favourite. Other great hits on the menu include the Savoury Waffle and the Shakshuka (with extra chorizo and bacon 👌🏼). The coffee is great. I don’t even mind queuing to get a table - and I’m not usually one to wait! Def recommend.

Delicious food. Great staff. Friendly dude running about absolutely loving his job, having a laugh with everyone. Cant wait to take my other half here to try something else on menu. Should change it so you can tip by card. Good staff missing out on tips.

AMAZING , this was my first visit and certainly will not be my last . Brunch was so good , I found it hard to decide because everything sounded lovely . The only thing I would say it that u can’t tip staff with card and I really wanted to because customer service was fantastic , especially Andy who was really helpful and friendly , next time I will bring some cash
