This is my go to brunch spot! The food is always fantastic! Such a lovely atmosphere! They have a great selection, even for those with dietary needs!

Had heard lots of good reviews about here…and boy! They were spot on!!! Met my friend here for lunch - the food is delicious & the coffee was a treat :) reasonably priced too

This wee place in Musselburgh situated across from the town hall in Musselburgh what we call the "thrupney bit shop" or "the roond cafe" is a wee gem of a place 💚. It has always been clean when I have been in, the staff are super-friendly and mega-polite. The food is Class -A, 5 ⭐ as are the staff. It's dog friendly (which helps as Layla is part of the family) so breakfast is a family event. Welcomed with open arms and staff are always willing to help. Highly HIGHLY recommended if you're in Musselburgh. (Review MUST be true as it's in the HONEST TOUN)

I love Kaffeine and so enjoy a wee break there at least twice a week. They do an epic cappuccino and bacon-and-egg roll, which my wee miniature long-haired dachshund Bunty shares while graciously attending the attention of her resident fan club. The staff love dogs and and always offer a bowl of water and a treat or two. The place has many, many regular customers, the atmosphere is very friendly and there are often cross-table conversations between people who have never met before. They have a loyalty card system-every 8th coffee is free. A great and enduring asset to Musselburgh. If you haven’t been yet-try it- you’ll not be disappointed!

Visited here a few times and have never had a bad experience with getting a table or service, the food is always great! For a small cafe I enjoy the variety of food and drinks available and the delicious hot drinks available.

We were just wanting nice coffee stop which was dog friendly and we came across this lovely place ok the corner. Was extremely busy for a Sunday but we thought it must be good when we sat down we actually ended up eating and was delicious. We would definitely recommend for anyone that as a dog o just wants to have nice light bite

Our 2nd time having lunch here, first time just stopped in for a Highlander burger and a Halloumi Burger (both tasted amazing) and most recently as a stop gap while moving furniture, I got the Turkish Breakfast while the rest of my group got their usual breakfast order, staff apologised saying it takes longer to make but as you can see it was well worth the wait, delicious wee selection that felt far healthier and less heavy than a Full English, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice lunch in Musselburgh 10/10 will definitely be back.

Visited today before heading home on our epic journey after the races on Sunday. it was as brilliant as the last time, freshly cooked, delicious hot food served by friendly staff. Could not fault it. Would highly recommend (including the cakes .. which we are now eating en route!)

It was one of my favourite place for coffee and carrots cake in Musselburgh. Never again!!! Prices are shocking!!! £5 for slide of carrot cake thin as a sheet of paper, really??? a portion of chips is much smaller than was before and cost £4 . I bought 3 portion of chips that cost me £12, only for chips unbelievable Never again

Bacon roll to die for! I'd have a photo... But it disappeared too fast. Good range with veggie options.

Always enjoy great breakfast with home made cakes great coffees. Warm welcome and great service too. Pets always welcome here.

Food variety and quality excellent something for everyone without exception. Prices extremely competitive. Welcoming and pleasant staff providing a very professional service in extremely pleasant surroundings. Very busy reflecting popularity.

I met a business contact for a catch up. It’s a nice little cafe with good coffee and nice home baking. Lots of choice on the menu for food. Good prices too. We liked it and I hope to be back here sometime soon.

Out for a walk Saturday morning came across this lovely cafe and we could take our dog in too. Lovely welcome coffee & hot chocolate we’re just what was needed! Along with the full cooked breakfast which was fab xx We will be back 🙂

We had a fabulous lunch here, the service was quick and efficient and the food was delicious, perfectly cooked, its such a lovely little cafe and very popular as it was full. We will definitely return. Excellent value for money.

We enjoyed two vegetarian breakfasts and coffee this morning and what a delight. The food was hot and tasty and the service was excellent. Plenty of choice on the menu and obviously the place for breakfast as it was busy which is great to see. The place was warm and welcoming. Will be back again.
