Amazing restaurant worthy food! As a pasta lover myself 🍝 I would say this is better than most restaurants I’ve eaten at!! Came around 20 minutes which is perfect and all still hot ready to eat! 😁👍🏻

Ordered the Fillet Vulcano, had fillet on a regular basis before and this wasn't fillet. It was nice but not fillet!

We ordered food to be delivered and paid online. However the takeaway never arrived. After ringing them they said they never received the order despite a confirmation number.

We had ordered Love Italian many a time before tonight, and although it was hit and miss sometimes, we had some delicious meals from there, so we kept going back. (they seem to have two chefs one of which still cares, the other not too much). After today, WE WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. My calzone arrived not only soggy (which can kind of be forgiven) but with raw, underseasoned and just generally not edible. I called to see if maybe it was a mistake, but the young lady who spoke to me was clearly getting very angry instructions from the chef telling me to essentially get lost. I drove over with the pizza, only to get chef and the manager telling me how I was wrong about essentially everything, and the chef did not exactly choose his tone or words. They gave me my money back eventually but refused to return the money for the delivery. SUBPAR FOOD and AWFUL attitude.

Do not order from here! Take your money and don’t deliver!

The delivery driver is very abusive. Absolutely vile chap and very racist towards English people!

Gone down hill in the past couple of weeks, my chicken salad was rock hard and dry, plus desserts was squashed, used to be amazing

Best Italian takeaway in this area by far. Never let us down, just for the two of us or for a large family group.

This is hands down the best takeaway in the area. I travel from Brough for the food that is ALWAYS to a great standard. Tastes amazing. I haven’t had a takeaway from anywhere in the west hull villages that even comes close to this! The fillet steak and chips are to die for and the cheesy garlic bread is the closest thing to perfect you could ask for from a takeaway. Highly recommend this place if you know good food

Love this place we've ordered from here a few times and I can't fault it, burgers are proper tasty pizzas are also really nice there is loads to choose from and it also sells ice cream. I would highly recommend.

I had not been eating carbs for a few months and decided to break it tonight with a gourmet burger and fries i have tried every type of burger. So tonight i thought i would go for a black and blue burger, inspired by a burger competition on tv, it was so dissapointng we collected our food. Burger was cold, no tomato, no onion no sauce, no treacle!!! So basically i ended up with a dry,cold burger with a sprinkle of blue cheese for £6.50. They looked like they were closing up so maybe rushing to finish for the night. But we had ordered by 9 pm. Its the attention to detail to be able to call a burger a gourmet burger and unfortunately this burger fell short of that description. This has put me off going back.

Giving two stars cos the mix grill was ok but everything else wasn’t. The pasta was very salty and oily, the garlic bread very chewy and just bread with a hint of garlic..and the meat load pizza..the ingredients were of not quality at all so it was just not good. Quite pricey considering the quality of products delivered..I would not recommend it.

Having had many fantastic meals from Love Italian, I was so disappointed tonight with the appalling food delivered. The Web Site is like many, sales based not customer friendly, so no opportunity to offer constructive or friendly criticism. Anyway, the calamari was as hard as the tarmac outside and the Gambrioni pizza was terrible with prawns more likely caught in Grimsby. So, either new owners or new chefs, but having used for many years, Domino's is probably my new venue. Mike

We have being ordering from these guys for maybe 2 years everthing spot on the nout of the blue they don't deliver to our area now just like that great customer service and we spend alot here but nomore

Food is very good, fast efficient service, quick delivery. Only one draw back their card reader is always broken so you have to pop to a cash p[oint

We spent over £40 as we fancied something special. Unfortunately it back fired. Our family takeaway was spoilt as pizzas and garlic bread arrived cold and one dish did not arrive. So this meant that one of our family members sat there with nothing to eat while we tucked in. They did send the missing dish but our meal was already spoilt. We got a verbal apology over the phone but that was it. We will not rush back.

Had a steak diane with chips on Saturday night - a 10 out of 10 takeaway meal. Great quality and flavour; very impressed. Owner and staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Will return soon.

I used to like this restaurant but I just noticed a sign in the window asking for female staff only. The owner is a bit creepy by the sounds of it.

Ordered a takeaway as staying at local hotel. Arrived promptly and food hot (its hard to package fish to keep at good temp). Food very good quality and obviously very fresh ingredients. Taste was perfect. Order from here :)

Really great Italian takeaway - their food is restaurant quality and pizza's second to none. Other dishes such as mushroom risotto have delicious creamy sauces. Fast delivery and friendly staff

This is the second time, the food has arrived late and cold it is very dissapointing as have had in last year and it was very good

Last couple of orders been luke warm. But we carried on ordering. Tonight, after 1 hour 20 mins it arrived. Took it in, to find it wasn't our order. (glad as it was almost cold). After ringing 8 times, hubbie walked down. They had to recook the order. No offer of discount or any good will gesture. Shame, as they used to be so good, but they are definitely not upholding their previous reputation. Treat your customers better

Currently we are staying in a nearby hotel and for the last 3 nights we have had a takeaway from Love Italian, different meals every time and the service has been quick and efficient. So far we have ordered 4 different meals from the Classic House Specials and 2 different meals from their choice of Pasta dishes. Each of the meals were piping hot, really well seasoned, great use of fresh herbs and spices to give authentic Italian / Mediterranean tastes and absolutely value for money. The food and service has been that good I downloaded their app on the 3rd evening. Ordering via the App was easy with no issues. I have no hesitation in recommending Love Italian and to be honest I am suspicious of some of the recent bad reviews.

WILL NOT ORDER THIS TAKEAWAY AGAIN, After hearing for a while locally that this takeaway has a bad reputation for how they talk to and about customers, especially females, we thought we would give them one more try as when it first opened it was by far the best pizza shop in hessle, The food that came was Absolutely shocking, Very poor standards, pizza and garlic bread were awful have had better frozen ones from heron! Chips were so bad I took one look and put the bag back down, all undercooked nearly all of them were bad, was amazed nobody checked these to see what the standards of food was as its not the first time iv given this feedback, in fact have done several times!! if I could of seen the food before I paid nearly £20 for it I wudnt of paid, most of it went in the bin, Absolutely disgusting!!

Decided to pop in for a quick takeaway..Was appalled at the male staff who leered at a young lady in with her mother.Male staff members speaking between each other in what I believe to be their native tongue . Poor girl who wasn't dressed inappropriately & couldn't bear to go back in to collect the order. Food standard was average nothing special.Totally unacceptable behavior

I stood and waited for a pizza and heard the staff making wholly inappropriate comments about female customers, two being extremely young girls who walked past. I walked out without my pizza as I refuse to give my money to people with such a disgusting attitude. Absolutely disgusting behaviour!

Daughter just bought a meat feast pizza from this place . Absolutely disgusting. I've seen meatier pizzas from herons. Half the pizza is empty . What a waste if money. Never again .

I watched the pizza sat there for over 20 minutes. Social distancing meant that I couldn't collect. When they did give me the pizza they insisted it was hot. It went into the bin. They made a tenner.

Ordered online with delivery scheduled for 1735. Turned up at 1720! Food was exceptional and will be a regular call.

Just had an order from Love Italian....never again. The order was wrong, ok mistakes are made but I rang to let them know and ask for a refund for the wrong meal. I felt so sorry for the young girl who answered the phone. She tried to sort it out but all you could hear was shouting in the background of no no no and words I didn't understand. It's not the fact there was a mistake it was the total lack of customer service. I was told I would get a call back still waiting, wont hold my breath. On top of that the food wasnt that good either! Very very shoddy Love Italian not impressed at all !!! Remember its customers that keep your business going!

I ordered a takeaway online and paid online. I was not aware of the difficulties with some road closures prior to ordering it. Having waited for my takeaway for two hours I phoned them to ask for my money back. I was told no that I should eat my takeaway cold when it arrived and I would not be getting a refund because the problems with the roads was not their problem. He then put the phone down on me. Extremely poor customer service and I’m an extremely disappointed customer. I would advise not to order from then. When food finally arrived it was stone cold and went in the bin.

This place is without doubt one of the best takeaways in West Hull/Hessle. Restaurant quality food delivered at speed. The BBQ grill meals are amazing.

I ordered a takeaway from here tonight as i have been unable to leave my house for a while and thought this would be a little higher class than your average takeaway, i couldnt be more wrong!! I ordered a spicy tomato garlic bread, a pasta dish that was supposed to have pepperoni, ham and chicken in it and my friend ordered a burger and chips. The pasta may aswell been pasta with sauce and a couple of chicken bits in it, there was no other meat in there whatsoever! The garlic bread came wrong and the burger was dry! The only decent thing was the chips but who can go wrong with those. I contacted love italian to explain my disappointment and all they could do was blame me for not reiterating my order to them and tell me there was! I was looking at it whilst speaking to them and still all they could do was argue back rather than rectify the problem. Its higher priced than your normal takeaways and trust me ive had much better and even better customer service at cheaper take outs. Definatley will not go here again

Ordered Pulled pork burger, mushroom & garlic pizza and 2 x Chips (1 with cheese) The burger (£7) was the worse burger i have ever had, dry with poor quality pulled pork slapped on top this wasn't a gourmet burger. Chips where tasteless and pizza was the driest pizza i have ever tried and totally tasteless. This is a poor takeaway!

Everything on the menu is fresh and tasty, even the naughty fries taste so good with the skin on fries and seasoning.

I am a regular customer but have been messed about now on a number of occasions with cold deliveries Food 1st class , but not worth waiting for.

Order came without the tub of garlic mayo I paid for. Chips was burnt and tasteless. Fajita wrap was greasy and can't be 100% wheather it was my hair or their hair but there was defo one in the wrap!!! Threw it in the bin don't no how they charge the prices they do.

Pizza is marginally better than a standard cheap take away, they also forgot to put any garlic butter on our order plus the pizzas also have no herbs that a genuine Italian would use; the Calamari was some cheap Makro rubbish and pretty much inedible, it did come with a decent salad and everything is packaged nicely, which is I suppose worth mentioning. Wouldn’t order again.

Best takeaway I have had, even my mother is converted to loving pizza, fresh, tasty, not greasy at all, would definitely recommend to anyone and will be ordering again

Only had one bad experience when it comes to the food. One bad experience was enough ! I politely asked for my meal to be swopped as mine was cold and burnt. The manager spoke to be like absolute rubbish on his shoe. I explained I am a regular customer and he said can't you see we are busy !! I feel completely let down and for this reason I won't return

Wouldn't recommend got food poisoning from this place. Can't believe I wasted £15.00 on that.👎 Food is also always cold ordered here 3 times and it hasn't changed thought I'd give them a 3rd chance but no not changed. Also if you get ice cream make sure you check for anything weird in it.

Linked to the Villa Blanca over the road, this is very possibly the best takeaway in Hull. Certainly knocks spots off any other Italian-based takeaway I've ever tried.

We have eaten from this takeaway so many times and love it. The pasta is fresh and good portions. We particularly enjoy the caprese salad and the garlic mushrooms too! The grills are really good and available with salad as a very healthy option which not many takeaways offer. Then prawns are very good. All of the meals are substantial sizes even for us as we have big appetites! Right have to go just placing another order!

I ordered a spicy garlic tomato bread from here and what I got disgusted me. The bread was soggy with grease. When you lifted a slice from the box the grease would drip off the end into where it was already pooling in the box! It made it inedible. At the side of the box what looked like a layer of lard had formed which made me feel quite sick!

Best takeaway around, always order from here and it never ever disappoints!! wide range of food and delivery always on time!!

This place was recently recommended to me so I thought I'd give it a try. The menu was very good and offered a lot of choices. I loved the fact you could order online and our delivery arrived promptly within the advised timescale. It was great to have Italian takeaway choices which were more restaurant meal choices rather than only the standard pizza and burgers. Our food arrived hot, it was very tasty and the portion sizes were enormous. We felt the cost of the meals was reasonable too taking into account the amount of food ...one pasta meal could easily serve two! Was impressed and will definitely be using again.

Send this take away a few times now, every time very good indeed. The ribs are lovely. Burgers also excellent tried a few different ones.

Will probably only use this takeaway once but would recommend it to the locals.The bbq beef fillet and beef stroganoff were really tasty and the portions were huge.

Thought we would try this takeaway for the first time on Saturday night. The side orders were excellent, couldn't fault the coleslaw, onion rings, olives or rustic fries. Unfortunately the pizza's were very poor. The base was super thin, hardly any tomato or cheese, my prosciutto ham looked like tinned ham, and my husband had very little pepperoni. The menu says restaurant quality but these certainly wasn't. For the prices charged the pizza's were very poor and certainly not worth the extra cost.

I've been here 3 times and sampled both a pasta dish, pizza and their ice cream and I must say I've never been disappointed. The fact that you can get tutti fruitti here is a massive plus for me as it's my favourite and you can hardly get it anywhere.

Everything I've eaten from this place is amazing. Authentic Italian food delivered to your door. Fast delivery too. Just wish I lived closer instead of having to go to friends for it 😀

This is an Italian take-away. The choice of dishes on the menu is excellent; pizzas, gourmet burgers, bbq grills, house specials, pastas, salads, sides, deserts, kids menu, alcohol and gelato. There are a few seats to eat inside but not many. We ordered a Pizza Fiorentina with spinach and egg on this occasion. It was really fresh and tasty, cooked to order although it did seem a little oily due to garlic oil which I have not come across before. We did not have to wait too long for our order. It was definitely restaurant quality. Prices seem average for similar take-aways (although much cheaper than Domino’s around the corner). It is open daily from 4 pm to 11pm and they offer a delivery service too. We will definitely return.

Great food and some great deals.

Italian cuisine to take away -perfect for 👌🏻lazy nights in with the other half. All dishes piping hot and delicious. The Italian meatball starters in spicy sauce are my personal favourite and very filling. Highly Recommended- give it a try you won't be disappointed 👍🏻

First time we've ordered from Love Italian and the food was delicious. We ordered 2 beef stroganoff dishes, a burger and kids meal too. Delivered earlier than the scheduled time, hot and fresh. 100% highly recommend Love Italian! We'll be back 👌

I ordered a vegetarian pizza from here and when I got it home I found it had chicken and meatballs in.

We used these for takeaway 3 times now. The mixed grills pretty good although they give you too little meat and too much chips. Have to admit the gourmet burgers are really nice.

Very poor for the money! We ordered 2 pastas and 2 garlic breads and it was £30. I don't mind paying the extra money if it's worth it and I'm a real italian food lover so the price didn't bother me, but the taste isn't up to the price standard at all. I honestly could make better out of a jar and I'm no chef. Won't be ordering from here again and definitely would not recommend if your wanting a half decent bit of Italian food.

Been here twice and it was really nice never had a nicer take away then ever and came here after a football match when it was poring with rain and staff where really nice and happy come here like once every week

Was really looking forwar to this takeaway what a dissapointment food cold live two mins away so makes me wonder how long had our food been waiting was told when rang up thirty mi s we arrived about twenty mins food cold don't think we'll return this was our second visit first one was ok so thought give benefit of the doubt and retry definatly will not be trying again utter dissapointment.

Excellent service at this takeaway we had lasagne and linguine bolognese both well presented and packaged (no danger of spillage on the journey home) and what can I say about the chips except superb.

Ordered from here as it had good reviews on there site but now I have realised they only have good reviews on the site as they delete the bad reviews as mine never made it on there site. We ordered a special offer which included a pizza, burger and sweet, the pizza was supposed to be meat lover and it was over powered by tomato hardly any meat on it. The burger was very flat and dry I think it had been blasted through the microwave as the bun was hotter than the burger, our sweet what we ordered was out of stock so we had cheese cake which was tiny and very bland. The whole me was awful and never again would I eat here again. Hana's burgers need'nt worry about this place been competition. Over priced, over rated.

Nice food but I wouldn't waste your money. Having ordered from here dozens of times and spent over £500 there over the last six months tonight has ensured I will never order from them again. The food arrived after an hour of ordering missing two items out of eight meals. When I called them, the manager blamed the driver. When the driver arrived in the shop while I was still on the phone to them he then said that he hadn't made it. They offered to send the missing items which arrived twenty minutes later. I feel sorry for the delivery driver he tried to blame as it wasn't his fault. This is not a cheap takeaway but the food quality was always good but the manager has no idea how to speak to customers or apologise when seven out of eight people are eating due to missing items. The manager then said that they were busy and that was the reason they hadn't got the order right. I complained to Just Eat and was offered 10% off my next order at Love Italian. I won't be eating there again as the manager was so rude on the phone.

This isn't your average pizza takeaway and I'm glad! At last Hessle has something other than dominos and pizza shops serving kebabs. Authentic Italian food which I thoroughly enjoyed. Chips were a real plus too. Looking forward to going back to try the ice cream.
