Maiziedoats at Freathy Farmhouse in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We found our way to Freathy Farmhouse Cafe by following a sign from Whitsand Bay. What a lovely find! Very rustic and charming cafe. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed very generous sandwiches served with delicious salad. Some of us even managed cake! We will definitely return although I understand it is best to check opening times. Ps Loved the decor in the loo!

This is a must visit if your in the whitsand bay/torpoint area Great location fantastic people amazing hospitality and really good cakes smoothies and tea We will return 100%

Friendly, hospitable - good selection of varied lunch paninis, baguettes & sandwiches served with the most delicious salad I've ever eaten! Coffees good too. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Not easy to find , even though I am local , had seen pictures before going and it did not live up to the pictures, having said that the food was excellent and beautifully presented. It advertised a shop selling local crafts and cards , in actual fact it was a passage way and the prices were extortionate , Their is only 1 toilet, and certainly was not what you would would expect for an establishment providing food..the access to parking was quite steep and very bumpy ..take care

We had a lovely lunch today. Great selection of light lunch baguettes,paninis and sandwiches etc which included a great selection of salads. The cream teas looked delicious! We will have to do that another day! It's lovely to find a little gem in our forgotten corner! Definitely worth a visit!

We have had lunch twice at Freathy Farmhouse and we were incredibly impressed on both occasions. Ingredients were beautifully presented, beautifully flavoured and absolutely could not be faulted. Definitely has the wow factor, service was friendly and efficient. I honestly could not fault it and would encourage everyone to give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

After a walk along the South West Costal Path we were in much need of an afternoon cream tea. Having driven back from Rame Head we stumbled across this place, what a result! The cream tea was huge and there was so much tea along with scones, strawberry jam and fresh strawberries!! The staff were polite and helpful. It is a peaceful place with comfy indoor and outdoor seating. Give it a try, follow the hand made signs.

I've been to the cafe many times now with various friends and family and have not been dissappointed. Not only is the food individual it's lush. Surroundings are peaceful and comfortable where you don't feel rushed or harassed to move on. If your really lucky Talulah will befriend you 😍 Lynne Clarke

Scrumptious proper scones, tea and all the trimmings at this charming farmhouse with beautiful grounds to explore and lovely owners. We'll be back.
