So fortunate to have this restaurant on our doorstep. Great inexpensive food with perfectly mannered staff. On Wednesdays and Sundays half price. Can't compliment the venue enough.

What a fantastic night at Maya Spice last night . I booked a table for 10 and 13 turned up , but very quickly they brought another table and accommodated the extra 3 Mum has a medical condition so she cannot eat anything spicy and the Chef made her a simply chicken , chips and peas . The food was fantastic and the staff are so friendly Well worth a visit Bonus that you can take your own alcohol Portion size is great

Wasnt busy at the time we went but was alot busier by the time we left service was good.

Lovely Indian and generous portions. Bring your own booze so very affordable. Menus can change depending on the day so just double check before attending.

Visited with friends just before Christmas to swap presents (5 of us ). We ordered similar dishes for starters. My dish come Mushroom pakora. The 1st on the plate was fine but the 3rd has chicken in it. I bit into it with realising & I am a non meat eater . I took it to the lad behind the bar & he just said I will get you a fresh one but then tried to blame the mix up on us! I would have left but didn’t really want to mess my friends about. I would think twice about going to this place if you have dietary requirements

We really rate this place as one of the best Indian restaurants in Hull. Delicious food at an extremely reasonable price. No problem with the lack of bar as there is a well stocked Sainsbury's close by.

Lovely meal I'm vegetarian and got exactly what I wanted, took own drink as doesn't serve alcohol, good portion sizes, would be good if they served real chips instead of frozen.

By far, the best Indian restaurant for both dine in and delivery, across Hull. Quality fresh ingredients and delicious dishes. Owners are very accommodating and friendly.

ordered 5 hours ago food came at 10:20 and it was cold and gross and then my fire stick stopped working I’m sick of it

The meals are consistently delicious. Great portions. Often comes later than you would expect but it’s always worth the wait. Would highly recommend to curry lovers!

Went there last night for the first time. Food was high quality, delicious and very nicely presented. Very fairly priced. The waiter was friendly, polite and helpful and the restaurant itself was clean, modern and had a nice atmosphere. Can't fault it.

When the family want India, Maya Spice is our go-to restaurant and take-away. We had a gorgeous meal this evening, delivered well before the estimated time. The order was accurate, warm and everything tasted delicious. Just what we needed. We alway recommended to our friends. 😊

This is an absolute gem, the food is very good topped off by great service. The 4 course menu is great value for money. Can highly recommend.

Great customer service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food here is spot on, we can't fault anything. The Currys have a good amount of meat in them and the fish pakoras are a must, and if you haven't tried them already, then do. The delivery times are reasonable and nothing is too much trouble. We had a slight issue with a previous order and the manager instantly addressed this and to our satisfaction he put thing's right. This wasn't food related. We highly recommend Maya spice. We have tried a good few Indians in the area but this is by far the best for us both in taste and portion sizes :) Thank you.

went their couple of weeks ago .... i am sure they have changed the team ....a new nervous boy with a clown type funny looking lady in the front make the service worst ... only giving 5 star for the food .... very nice work chef

Shame this place has been taken over. Take your own alcohol can be a plus however we are more interested in the food. Crisp burnt onion bhajis, garlic curry had lots of burnt garlic cloves in it (and there was only us in), staff all looked scruffy, a bit off putting .. the 6 of us definitely won't be going back, we didnt really enjoy any of it tbh.

1st order from hear. Onion baji. , not worth the money very small salad that comes with it is appaling. Better places out there. Poppadoms are great. And processed chicken for the main meal Cheers guys

Very tasty food and friendly staff absolutely no hurrying, seemed to be plenty of takeaways and deliveries going out the door. Huge portions of main dishes, peshwari naan very nice too. We will be back!

Great value for money. Quick service. Pleasant enough atmosphere and decor. I feel the quality of the chunks of meat could have been slightly better, perhaps it wasn't the freshest but that's probably uncommon.

Ordered food two hours before I wanted it delivered after it being half hour late called the restaurant to query it! Very rude man on the telephone not helpful at all. Food arrived cold almost an hour later with limp soggy popadoms . Left most of it worst curry I have ever eaten save your money and go to Bengal pride miles better

Had a takeaway for the first time tonight and got to say it’s the best me an my husband have had he got the mix grill the curry sauce was beautiful that came with it an I had chicken tikka , chicken was so tender .. will defo be eating from here again

Pre booked for my brothers birthday, absolutely shocking service, me & my two daughters didn't get any food, other family members got the wrong food & they tried charging us for the food we didn't get, will never go again, shameful service

Maya Spice is the best most delicious food l have had in England. Been to India so l can compare. The chef has been trained well. Been 4 times in a month thats how good it is.

The food from here was really lovely. Ordered last Friday and have to say I was very impressed. The curries were not too oily, which is an issue I’ve found with some other local takeaways, and the flavour was amazing. Portion size was large which was nice to see for the price. The only thing keeping it at a 4 star was on tia occasion the naan bread was slightly doughy, maybe just needed a few more minutes. Overall this restaurant represents great value for money when it comes to Indian takeaway in Hull.

Best Indian takeaway I’ve had, everything is perfection and I can’t wait until the new refurb is done to go inside in a nice ambience!

I ordered takeaway tonight at 6.45 just Received it after calling them several times to be told it was on the way. Finally turned up at 9 o'clock to find it had all been re heated and it was not edable and went in the bin. Will not Ever be getting food from them Again by takeaway or in the Restaurant Definitely not 5 star I have better Indian food off the shelf from Supermarket

Delicious. I had the chicken tikka jalfrezi. My husband had the chicken Sashlik. We shared mushroom rice, Tarka Dhal and a Garlic Naan. Way too much food! We took a huge doggy bag home. The staff were efficient and courteous. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Absolutely beautiful food by far the best Indian in Hull...only complaint i have is twice now they've missed something off our order when delivered 1st time i called and they sent it straight round but the 2nd time i didnt bother..it was poppadoms so felt it wasnt a biggy but at the end of the day I'd paid for them and more importantly i was looking forward to them

Very excellent mouth watering indian dishes I have tasted in the whole of Yorkshire. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone it's hygiene standard and food presentation and taste is extraordinary and excellent once you have eaten there you will remember the food. I wonder give the review 11 out of 10 for its extraordinary standard once you eaten there. You will know it has never been beaten

Great flavours. Coconut rice is one of the best I've tried among other dishes. I Order every Saturday night as my once a week treat . Would highly recommend!!

Would totally recommend this place for the best Indian takeaway I've ever eaten 😌 I first got a chicken madras and that was beautiful then tonight I got a chicken vindaloo which was even better ☺ this is now my favourite place for Indian food, thank you so much 😌

Really great food. Frendly staff, quick service and you feel you have time to finish your meal.

Exceptionally good take aways. Have yet to eat in, but we plan to. Large portions - I usually have enough for a second meal next day! Would particularly recommend the off the bone mixed grill - superb. My only complaint, if I can call it that, is that when I asked if they did cucumber/onion raita, I was told there was a yoghurt mint sauce. It was very nice, but I really prefer raita and I'm surprised they don't offer it.

The food here is nice & tasty, I could tell the food was made with passion rather then a schedule, the staff were very friendly & welcoming definitively explaining the dishes & content, the menu seemed streamline & not an essay making it more simplified in ordering, the aesthetics of the place had a modernised feel & welcoming, the portions of the food was adequately blissful, we will be back for more thank you.

Fantastic!! Just polished off a delivery order that arrived super fast and was presented beautifully. Ordering was easy and pleasant. The food topped all of these. We tried this place instead of our regular and I would say it beats it hands down. Very generous portion size and the quality of the food was spot on. Very big chicken pieces and the balance of spices and heat were perfect!! Will be back again for sure 👍🏼

Wow had the food delivered and I have to say it arrives still beautifully presented as if it was served in the restaurant. It is possibly one of the nicest Indians I've ever eaten. Everything was hot, fresh and packed with flavour. I'll definitely be ordering again, very impressed.
