Lovely meal and wonderful service. Delicious food cooked on the grill and they have excellent extraction so even sitting near by you don’t come out smelling of grilling. They easily adapted the food for me to be dairy free and to leave out the bread so had a really wonderful meal. Great quality meat and well cooked. Complimentary snacks.

I visited Mezze when visiting Eastbourne on my weekend escape. >> Service 👨‍🍳- from the very first moment we felt very welcomed and taken a good care of. The waiters were very attentive, smiling, kind and professional throughout our visit. Food 🍅 - right in the beginning we got a complimentary freshly baked Turkish bread and a selection of other snacks. The food was overally really good, giving a home food vibe and we could see it being prepared by the staff at the back of the venue (where they were chopping, cooking, grilling and also interacting with the customers). Atmosphere 🔮 - small venue but nice, dimmed yellowish light made us feel really cozy and relaxed especially as it was quite windy outside. I'd recommend Meze to anyone visiting Eastbourne as it turned out to be a hidden gem for me that probaby more people should know of.

Find this one on Tripadvisor, and I would definetly go there again once being in the area, even for a day trip as the final stop. The food was amazing, best and freshest Turkish food I had, ordered red onion salad as a special side which I knew from home and delighted the crew by being familiar with their culture. It was a lovely time there, the setting is nice, and the service level is exceptional. I would recommend going there and njoy an evening there. Beautiful place.

For a Mother’s Day treat and lunch out we were so disappointed. The lamb that I had was so chewy and bland that I could not eat it! After 3 tries I could not eat my dish, and complained, the owner grumpily apologised and knocked it off the bill. My husband also said that his meal was extremely dull and lacked any authentic flavour. Kids were happy with their lahmajun. Had a baclava to take off my hunger, was fine, could have been free as an apology. Wine was nice so returned home tipsy but hungry!!! Worst Turkish meal that we have ever had, will not be returning! And would have returned a lot with family and friends. Oh well!

We went with friends on a Monday at lunchtime so it was fairly quiet. The food was delicious and the service was very good, we were looked after without feeling harassed.

Sub par food, expensive and portions are not that big, we ordered the meze platter to share and the chicken pieces were so tiny they were smaller than my fingers. Prices for a platter like this would be cheaper in London, would not recommend, just go to the cheaper kebab shops around the corner. Service however is good.

Booked our table for 9pm and we arrived early at 8.30pm and they were very accommodating. Service was impeccable and food was excellent. You can see your food being cooked in front of you. All fresh produce

Friendly, helpful staff, delicious food. Good atmosphere, busy but not to the detriment of the ambience. Delicious meze shared for starters - sugara boregi and calamari especially good. Tender grilled Sea bass. Would recommend for good Turkish food.

Service was really good, one young man appeared to be doing all the running about. He was friendly, polite, and very helpful. I found the restaurant quite small, it's an open kitchen with even the chef on a chair. Had a free pitta and some dips to start. The starters were amazing. Absolutely love spicy turkey sausage, served on tomatoes. My friend had feta in pasty. Absolutely amazing! The main courses were very good, freshly cooked and full of flavour. Chicken was really good, pipping hot and definitely worth it. For pudding, we shared one, so sweet but really good.

Had a train day trip to Eastbourne today for something to do. Very pleasantly surprised at the town. Lovely walk along the front. This restaurant was an absolute 5 star place. From the initial welcome all the way through it was excellent. Fabulous food and much more than we could eat so took the remainder home. Lovely atmosphere inside, great staff and service. Fabulous food in the centre of Eastbourne. We have been several times over the last few years and the service and quality of food is always excellent. Great wine selection, complimentary breads and a huge variety of authentic dishes, recommended for anybody wanting exceptionally tasty food and a relaxed atmosphere!

Been going for many years and still the best Turkish in the area. Have to go as far away as Brighton to get anything on a par with this. You are treated like family in this establishment. Just like stepping into a traditional Istanbul eatery! The open charcoal grill is amazing and if you can get a table opposite do so as it's great fun watching it being prepared. The food is a joy to consume. Be warned however you are well fed and not for folks on a diet!

Fantastic restaurant for authentic Turkish food, with a clay oven and barbecue open grill. Very friendly, passionate staff. The food was cooked to perfection. Got complimentary bread, olives and feta cheese to start. For mains, we had the lamb with vegetables and bulgur and lamb kebab. Big portions, very tasty!

We had a very warm welcome and enjoyed our visit. The food was freshly cooked and our waiter was friendly. Found the price a bit high, especially for the lamb as the portion was small. A very nice restaurant though.

Absolutely faultless! A small, intimate setting with fantastic service and delicious food. We felt looked after from the moment we walked in the door. The complimentary bread olives, cheese and garlic butter is a nice touch. Expensive dishes but top quality, and you won't leave hungry! We visited on a quiet Sunday evening. Can recommend the mixed grill and a lamb stew.

This is all you need to know. We visited on Jan 30 and walked past at least ten restaurants - all virtually empty. But the Meze was buzzing, with good reason. Excellent wide ranging classic Turkish menu, really friendly, helpful service and amazingly good value. Has to be a 5.

Have been to this restaurant on many occasions. Food and service is always excellent. The staff are friendly but efficient and create a wonderful atmosphere. Meals are on the large size so be careful when ordering and make sure you're hungry.

Lovely place with great food and hospitality. Central to the restaurant is a charcoal grill with a beautiful hammered copper hood/chimney attended to by the chef. There is also a traditional oven. It's cozy and fairly small. Each time I've been they bring out a big puffed up bread fresh from the oven with a small platter of olives, cheese and herb butter on the house. I'd recommend the mezze special, you get a bit of everything.

Every dish I tried was bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident, and the attention to detail in the preparation truly elevated the dining experience. The staffs were outstandingly friendly and lovely. Their energy and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive ambiance of the restaurant. Also due to their exceptional customer service the restaurants are always full during weekends.

I came here two times after visiting the Seven Sisters Cliffs. The food is delicious, staff are so friendly, helpful, and professional. This is a top Turkish restaurant serving the classic Turkish dishes made from quality and fresh ingredients. It looks a bit pricey when you order but you realise it's not pricey when you start eating. The baklava was delicious.

As a Türk, I can say this is a real Turkish Restaurant. Food is great, service is very quick and friendly, atmosphere is great, portions are very generous, price is affordable and the best part is the bread and the garlic butter , of course free of charge.
