Went on holiday to Glasgow and decided to try out this steak house just down the road from our hotel, staff member Sam was absolutely lovely! The steak was perfectly cut and the wine was lovely. If we ever come up Glasgow again for sure we’d come back

£88 for a tomahawk steak, horrible taste from the steak and around quarter of the steak was totally inedible due to how tough the meat was! It was a battle to cut through it never mind chew it. Would definitely not recommend this place if you are looking for a premier steak house as it’s far from it.

No sign of no dogs allowed. No info to find regarding this at all. Tried to call ahead and the phone is not being answered, so went ahead and took the trip from the Malmaison. Not only are dogs not allowed but they were closing at 20:45! Just disappointing.

This is my favourite place to get steak in Glasgow. Restaurant is lovely and intimate great place for date night. Food is always amazing including the sides.

Mouth watering Carnivorous Heaven!!! If you love meat you're home in the Mini Grill Steakhouse, Bath Street, Glasgow. I only wish I could eat more. Chefs know how to get the best from a cut of beef, chicken and fish even the vegetables are dynamite!!!

Hands down the best Steakhouse in Glasgow. Don't bother going elsewhere, as never had a bad meal in this place. Food is outstanding as is the service.

Delicious Sunday roast. We had the roast beef and it was tender and cooked perfectly. Came with all the trimmings. We also had the mac and cheese and onion rings on the side and would recommend both of them. The hazelnut chocolate delice was also delicious and a very generous portion. The staff were all lovely. A great wee place for steak.

Had a gorgeous Sunday roast today. Hubby and I went for the roast beef and Mum went for the Roast Chicken. Both came with the same accompaniments, which were all cooked to perfection. The roast beef was lovely and overall I'd give the roast 9.5 out 10. It only lost a half mark because I hate soak Yorkshire pudding. Mum gave her roast chicken a 10 out of 10. Hubby gave it a 9 out of 10. The pudding menu was small but our choices were lovely if a bit sugar-tastic. We'll defo be back and would highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere and lovely food! I enjoyed the fillet steak, very nicely cooked, although was more impressed by my partner's dish of choice which was a Trio of Lamb, truly beautiful dish and delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. The chips that came with the steak were amazing! It's a small but cosy restaurant, I like that the place is central but in a quieter location on Bath Street.

When you’re charging £39 for a Fillet Steak it needs to be good… and it wasn’t. Poor quality meat. Greasy sides. Left the place smelling like a fryer. Half way through the meal the AC was turned on… in December. And I will never understand why I was listening to Kevin Bridges swearing whilst using the bathroom. Awful.

We ended up with probably the worst table in the place but the food and service was great. Both steaks were cooked well and the sides were amazing. The bar staff even made my favourite drink without any messing. Unlike most steak houses in Glasgow we will be back to this one for sure.

We were recommended the restaurant and were not disappointed. From the welcome and service from Tricia. TO the food and wine. Everything was excellent. Trivia gave us great advice on what we ordered and she was spot on. The chateaubriand for two was perfect. Perhaps one of the most delicious steaks I've ever had.

Absolutely loved it. My new favourite restaurant. I had food envy before I'd even ordered because the menu is so good and I knew I'd miss out on something. Haggis trio was some of the best haggis I've had. I begrudgingly went for lamb (instead of steak, in a steak place, I know), and that shepherd's pie is genuinely the nicest mouthful of food I've ever eaten. Staff were excellent. Nice atmosphere, cosy but not too crowded. Good wine. A little pricey, but worth it!

We visited here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and this place did not disappoint. Both Trisha and Emma greeted us with such a lovely warm welcome and looked after us just perfectly. The food is absolutely amazing. We are not going to wait for a birthday until we go back. Love this place.

We had the Sunday roast, it was delicious. Beef was tender and the gravy/jus was top notch. The restaurant has a nice cosy atmosphere, great selection of Scottish whiskeys.

Probably the best Burger I have ever eaten. Go easy on lunch if you’re coming here for dinner. Fantastic food and plenty of it. Service is relaxed and the welcome warm. Great wine selection too. Can’t comment on the desserts… no room left!

It took 40minutes for 2 starters. Only one came they forgot about the other. Sunday Roast was ok not amazing. Parts of the Roast was cold. Roast beef was tough. Not sure I will be back anytime soon.

As a steakhouse I’m struggling to comprehend and come to terms with the experience we had at Mini Grill. There are number of things that made for a unforgettable first experience. We’ll start with the quality of the steak served. Surprisingly, it was very poor on a number of fronts. The flavour of both steaks, which are advertised and sold as 35 day dry aged, one filet, the other sirloin, lacked any depth of flavour whatsoever, which leads to the point that neither steak had been seasoned in any shape or form. I honestly do not think these cuts of meat had been hung for 35 days. Beef hung for that period of time is undeniably lip smacking. In all honesty, I’ve bought supermarket offerings that have packed more punch and fared a lot better in terms of tenderness and flavour than what was served. The filet was chewy with a lot of sinew throughout. The sirloin, which is the beefiest of all cuts was devoid of any flavour at all. The accompaniments were also sadly underwhelming, the mushrooms, whilst flavourful and the tastiest thing on the plate were just the right side of cold and the salad leaves had wilted. The cold soggy fries were something we’d never seen before, I’m assuming they were reheated? Feedback was given, sadly the £20 refunded in voucher form, and not to my credit card which had paid the deposit, was done so with a 2 week expiration date, which is of no use as we are now out of the country on holiday. Edit- As prompted by my wife, we also ordered a side of mac and cheese, one rule of cooking pasta is salt the water or chicken stock for depth. As for its flavour it was sadly bland and tasteless.

Oh wow! What a treat to have a lovely dinner here. A well kept secret in Glasgow. Amazingly good Scottish steaks. The desserts are outstanding and save room for them. The staff are just the best bring the best Scottish homely hospitality.

I have walked past this place on a number of occasions not realizing it existed, we were going to a concert at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow and searched for restaurants in the area and it popped up, booked a table (a refundable booking fee is required) and off we went. On arrival we were met by a really nice friendly young lady led us to our table in a warm, comfortable well lit restaurant area. It is a good menu but concentrates heavily on steak of various cuts, there is a small starter menu, and the starters are a bit on the small size, that is because the mains are huge, cooked to a high standard, and well presented. To quote Elvis, it was a Hunk a Hunk of sizzling beef. The bottle of Italian wine we ordered was reasonably priced and good quality and went well with the beef. We also had a pudding which was again a sizable endeavor requiring not just one sweet tooth and not for the faint hearted, at the end of the meal my jaws were sore from eating, coffee was very good also. There is a reasonably comprehensive wine and drinks list. Toilets were clean and fresh. The staff were friendly, quite chatty, helpful and professional and the service was excellent. The food is excellent and the service commendable. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The staff are still as good as ever, the slab of well cooked steak was delicious, well everything was. Wine was very good. There is a service charge applicable.

Visited on saturday night . Had a steak and my wife had the venison. Best steak I've ever had ! 10/10 1st class service . 1st class food and lovely cosy atmosphere. We will definitely be back

First night in Glasgow and what a treat! The brunette chick and guy with the beard based by the bar downstairs were great! The girl gave me a wine suggestion which was on point, their Chateaubriand was so incredibly delicious, you have to try it! Alongside the chicken fries and Yorkshire pudding, it was one of the best meals, ever! Love this place!

Lovely staff, delicious food and had gluten-free and dairy-free options. Scallops and venison were both cooked beautifully and a great wine selection.

Booked a table with a friend as we were going out in Glasgow for the day. We were recommended this place from someone saying it was a great meal and boy, did this not just hit the mark and then some!!! Great food, small venue so service was spot on and couldn't have asked for more. Only one suggestion to make so the trip was even better was the "mandatory" 10% service charge added to the bill... We would have tipped more but the service charge is an Americanism that isn't really warranted for a place as good as this surely?

We dined here for our 15th Wedding Anniversary and the meal was lovely, the steak was delicious and the downstairs eating area was lovely and cosy. The only criticism I would make was that the last glass of wine we had from our bottle was very unpleasant but that's no fault of the restaurant.

We had a graduation celebration meal at the Mini Grill Steakhouse and had an excellent experience. The food was delicious and we wanted to give a special mention to the one server on duty that afternoon who did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and attended to our every need thought-out our meal. She was on hand to give advice on food and was pleasant to us and other diners. I thoroughly recommend this venue if you are looking for quality food and good service.

Stopped here for lunch. This place is fantastic!! The food and the staff were great. The pan fried halibut and the sides merged together for some amazing flavors. The dessert was the best I’ve had in Glasgow.

Unironically the best filet steak I ever had. Definitely not cheap, but what you get is excellent service (all of the waiters were just the right amount of fun and professional at the same time, my husband and I felt very warmly welcomed!), great atmosphere and exceptional food. Will definitely go there again the next time I visit Glasgow!

This has got to be the best steak in Scotland? Great laid back venue, excellent menu, the staff highly attentive and didn't feel intrusive at all! Must be the first restaurant I've ever been to that didn't have a server asking me how the food is while I have a mouthful of food! Every course that came out, we were expecting there would be something that let it down, there had to be a catch, something they're not good at? Everything was flawless, can't wait to go back.

Both food and service were top notch I'd thoroughly recommend this.
