Panshi Restaurant in Cannock Chase

I have a delivery on average once a week. I live on a narrowboat which is extremely hard to find but these guys are exception.. They know who I am when I call. They change things up for me when I can't choose.. They go above and beyond for me. Tonight the food is exceptional.. Im a chef and I cook from morning till night.. So I can be a little picky... However, credit where credit is due.. The gentlemen at the panshi are absolutely brilliant... Melanie.. The one on the boat.....

Food nice however they’ve started charging for delivery other Indian restaurants don’t ???

Absolutely swimming with grease. Had even drained some out before I dished up... Used to be good here but now seems to have gone downhill

We always enjoy the food here, we have visited often (that speaks volumes 👍). The staff are attentive, professional and friendly. The atmosphere is lovely, the tables are nicely spaced (I hate being 'packed in'). There are lots of returning customers & I can see why !!

Lovely varied menu. Lovely modern interior to the restaurant with well lit surroundings. Service staff very friendly and helpful. Meal well cooked and didn't take ages to come even for the 15 strong group I visited with. Lots of parking, including accessible parking, nearby.

Food outstanding...as we're the staff who looked after us ...

It's been about 8 months since I last ordered from there. Awful. Manky, cheap and tough chicken with horrible brown hole in the middle.. Tikka Masala sauce only tasted of sugar. Won't be eating from there again. What a pity. it started off so well when it first opened.

THE WORST INDIAN TAKEAWAY IVE EVER HAD! Arrived one hour late, missing 1/2 of my order, the food that did arrive came cold, called the so called restaurant and they were just rude and didn’t want to help, avoid this place, wouldn’t order from here again if it was the only takeaway left on the planet, dump of a place

Used this restaurant for years, I would even say we are regulars. We used their connecting restraint in burntwood as a vegan they served me chicken so we complained and left there and have never returned. Tonight we went back to the panshi as they have always been great, explained to them what happened when we visited the other restaurant then low and behind they did the same thing as if it was funny. Bought me a chicken dish then laughed when we told them it was wrong. Attitude and atmosphere from staff tonight, what a shame. Lost a good customer here guys, sort it out.

Recently had a family birthday celebration here. The restaurant is nice and welcoming and very comfortable. The food was really nice and the friendly service was great. We were all happy and will definately return to the Panshi.

Food was good, service was good although a little too attentive at times. Atmosphere wasn't the best due to bright lighting and was a little cold.

Avoid, never been to an Indian restaurant which charges you £6 more for a Madras Hot curry then a regular one! When we queried it they said it was a mistake and would only charge us a couple of quid more!! Didn't mention that the curry would be more expensive when we ordered it! Very crafty thinking that we wouldn't notice. Especially when we paid more than £300 for the meal, don't mind paying expensive if all the prices are stated as in the menu but we felt we were being ripped off. Food was okay though but atmosphere was dead, far too big a room , it was like being on the moon.

Food was cold and looked as if it had been reheated, not been well since eating there on New Year’s Eve, too many people being rushed in and out, they never charged me for mine which tells you everything, terrible will never eat there again.

Ordered a takeaway. When eating the curry we found a yellow piece of plastic in the curry. Tried calling the restaurant and there was no answer to complain.

Went here last night for our Xmas do. I can honestly say it’s the best Indian food I’ve ever had you must try the staff curry 10/10 the staff were great too the whole experience was great and will definitely be going back 💥

First visit & won't be our last. From the moment we walked in we were met by very friendly staff. The restaurant is well laid out with tables to suit all party sizes. The menu is impressive & not expensive. The food was very good. Service was excellent & the staff were very attentive.

Nice place, a bit empty but amazing staff and good food. We ordered an array of dishes and they were all amazing, staff were attentive and helpful with my complex explanations of what I wanted and they delivered. High recommended.

Friendly staff but food not so good

Fantastic food and great staff and service! Have eaten in on occasion and haven’t been disappointed. We usually have delivery and the food always comes hot and on time. We ask for an early delivery slot for the kids and have never been disappointed! Even when closed you can pre order a delivery for later that day. Thank you Panshi!

First visit tonight for a works retirement meal - friendly and attentive staff, especially Az who made sure we were looked after. Vegetable korma was probably the best I’ve had, tasted amazing and fresh. Will definitely be returning. Thank you all!!

I’ve had a few takeaways from panshi, always been the best Indian by far . I went to the restaurant at hayes Heath this evening for the first time with friends, I ordered a king prawn dish as I’m a pescatarian. Unfortunately I was given a chicken dish . This wasn’t a nice experience, this issue was solved quickly but I don’t think they realised the impact it had on me. Luckily I didn’t have an allergy to chicken . We’re all human and mistakes happen but non meat eaters do not want to be served meat .

More on the expensive side but you sit in Luxary and food is proper

Had a great evening Panshi tonight. The decor is so much nicer than 18-24 months ago with stylish booths, mood lighting and high quality furnishings. The food was superb and exceeded all expectations. I can recommend the Rezala and the Shatkora specifically but every other item on the table was first class. A final word for the staff, friendly and attentive in every way. Suppose I have to take the wife now!!

Amazing venue, incredible and enjoyable atmosphere with candlelight. Friendly staff, the owner is an absolute legend. The food was really amazing, well prepared and tasty. We had lamb and chicken, both dishes tender and full of flavour. I highly recommend it!

I went here for an evening meal with my wife, children and my in-laws and had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is well decorated, very clean and has excellent facilities. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The food was great I had a lamb-tika Bhuna with a plain naan on the side and really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend going here and will definitely be returning.

First visit last night with family and we were blown away. Decor, staff and food were perfect and arrive piping hot. The spices and flavours used on the chilli paneer and lamb appetiser were amazing! Everything was perfect.

I ordered a few weeks ago and it was nice but tonight it was vile, I needed to check my bank to make sure i ordered from the same place. The balti was bland and really thick in texture, I then had some of the mint sauce and I found a broken piece of old popadom in there! As I was picking at my food as I just paid £18 for just a balti rice and naan I found a thin piece of metal shavings in their, the only thing to compare it to was a shaven piece of metal from a tin. I will 100% not be a returning customer!

Special biryani ...hardly any meat. The 2 pieces of beef i got was like wellington boots. Chicken small and not alot. No king prawns just a couple of shrimps.... could have nearly passed as a veggi . The veggi lol biryani tasted nice though

My new favourite Indian Restaurant, sadly my old favourite has shut down so thought I would try a few around the Cannock area. I am very impressed with the Panshi in all aspects, quality of food, friendly staff and accommodating for my particular favourite dish Very impressed and imagine I will be spending a few enjoyable evenings here over the coming months and years.

We are regulars here. A standout curry house, deserving of recognition. What sets Panshi apart is a) the quality of the food which is fresh and carefully prepared, even when they are busy and b) a genuine focus on customer service. They look after you. We came here recently on a Saturday night and it was absolutely heaving. Yet they had brought in enough staff, kept on top of things and made sure we had a good experience. This can’t have been easy. You could imagine a Netflix documentary on a place like this and how it churns out quality grub for the locals en masse.

Food was average even though the waiter pushed a TOP recommendation for me, my dish came and they'd given me lamb and not chicken (which he'd read back to me when placing the order) strangely my new dish was out within minutes so I guess they used my first dish and just swapped the meat over. You pay for everything, poppadoms, chutney and the cobra was expensive £4.50 a pint. Overall £54 quid for 2 and a very average Indian meal.........definitely won't be going back..there are way better restaurants in Cannock.

Went for a meal for Christmas Eve that consisted of 7 of us. This is the 4th time we've been to the Panshi and was again an awesome meal with really attentive and friendly staff.

Another good night at the Panshi. Mosh and H make you feel as valued customers. It's a difficult period for local businesses so give them your support, book a table .

Not only do these guys do the best takeaway around, but when you eat in the restaurant the service and surroundings make it even better. Friendly, warm, and speedy service, of excellent tastes food. I’ve lived in the West Midlands for nearly 20 years and I consider these guys my absolute favourite restaurant in Staffordshire. Allergies and dietary preferences happily catered for! Thumbs up to our waiter Mush, 👍 fab guy!
