Polo Bar - 24 Hour Great British Cafe in City of London, Westminster

Great place to eat or drink something. I've been here several times and I've never been disappointed. My favorite is the red velvet cake!!

The greatest breakfast I've ever had. Not only was the food amazing, but the waiter was extremely kind and helpful. The antique and rustic aesthetic is unique and gives a cosy feel when you're eating. As soon as you walk in, you can see a range of delectable pastries and are met with a warm environment: the cafe and the staff. We had the smoked salmon benedict, the mighty full english breakfast and the american breakfast. The food was extremely well presented. Needless to say, we left with high spirits and full stomachs.

Wir haben, für einen Tagestrip, hier ein Tisch für das Frühstück reserviert! Alles online, total unkompliziert. Sogar die Zeit konnten wir noch einmal ändern. Das Frühstück war schnell am Tisch, absolut ausreichend und super lecker!! Zum Mittag waren wir dann noch einmal da, diesmal zum Mittagessen. Super Portionen und wieder sehr sehr lecker!! Ich kann das Café nur empfehlen!! Werden zu unserem nächsten Besuch im April, hier wieder einkehren!!

Genuinely the best breakfast experience I've had in my life. Everything was absolutely spot on; from the brilliantly cozy atmosphere to the uniquely rustic aesthetic and decoration, to the mouth watering selection of food. Plenty of brilliant choices are on offer, from American pancakes to English benedicts. When you walk inside, you are greeted with a beautiful selection of pastries. When you sit down, you feel at home immediately with the cozy vibe. The food is gorgeous - we had the English Breakfast, American Breakfast and Smoked Salmon Benedict. When our food arrived, it was presented very nicely and smelled great. Each dish was perfection, with the right amount of balance. To accompany it, we had tea, which made the ultimate breakfast experience. The servers were all extremely friendly and welcoming! I would go again without a second's hesitation, and the convenient location right outside Liverpool Street Station means it is brilliant for travellers and tourists, especially given how it's open 24 hours.

My time at Polo Bar 24h Great British Cafe was alright. The cheesy fries with bacon and burgers were satisfactory, and the customer service was friendly.

Amazing place a few steps away from London Liverpool station. The food was excellent! great value for money and perfect service. overall I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking a cozy place with really good food. Massive thanks to Summer and Olla for making us feel so welcomed and taking care of us throughout our service.

Un super endroit ouvert 24h/24 qui nous a bien été utile lors de notre arrivée tardive à Londres ! Les portions sont généreuses, les tarifs sont corrects et le service était super ! Nous y sommes allés plusieurs fois lors de notre séjour, le seul petit défaut que j'ai trouvé c'est que la musique était un peu forte selon les jours. Hormis cela tout était parfait !

Neat little bar that’s always open ™️ Little bit of tightness, lots of friendliness, abundance of tasty food. The place is small, so it’s a bit of a tight fit in some of the tables, with just enough room for the food and drinks. We both got English breakfasts, with me getting the mighty version with more food and wife opting for the sensible version of the dish for normal people who don’t eat like madmen. I particularly thought it tasted great, defined flavors for everything and lovely eggs and toast. We also got some fresh orange juice which tasted superb. Service was super nice and friendly too, which is always a plus!

Einfach toll! Wir hatten vegetarisches Britisches Frühstück und ein Breakfast Clubhouse Sandwich. Beides hat einfach fantastisch geschmeckt. Der Preis war günstig und die Portionen wirklich groß. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich. Die Getränke waren auch sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder!

The meal was enjoyable, but the employees were unwelcoming and impolite. I objected to the compulsory service charge they insisted I pay. I've dined at numerous restaurants, none of which required separate payments to incur a service charge. Apparently, if the server does the calculations for us, we're expected to compensate them. What a joke. Moreover, their demeanor was far from pleasant. From the moment we entered, there was a lack of hospitality. The staff's behavior was exceedingly rude. They ought to prioritize learning about hospitality!

A superb place to call in for breakfast at any time. The standard breakfast is certainly enough to fill you up but this is a place for indulgence, so go bigger for once and enjoy! On the way out grab some of the tasty pastries to munch as you wander around the City.

By far, the worst customer service in London. I've felt rushed and extremely uncomfortable.The staff is rude.I wasn't even able to finish my food. They tried to take my fries while I was still eating, and they dropped the bill we never asked for. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Great place just across Liverpool St Station, open 24/7 and the food and the service never dissapoint no matter the time!

Service was excellent by the young lady on Sunday afternoon. Got a couple desserts. The pancakes were decent, though the pancakes didn’t seem too fresh. The banoffee milkshake was a miss. Maybe would come here again just cause of the excellent service and because it’s open 24/7.

Absolutely ridiculous portions of delicious food. Got the very good banofee pancakes but ended up eying the savory breakfasts others got, the sweet options are insanely sweet for so early in the morning. Come hungry.

Sandwiches/wraps not worth the money

Food portion is absolutely adequate. Staff is very friendly. They greet me by name the first moment i went in (i made reservation) and they remember saying good bye by name when I left.

Pleasantly surprised. Good atmosphere and food, but i don´t recommend to go there with small kids...

Delicious food, nice staff, there is not much place inside between the tables but when all the people are talking and there is music in the background it makes it actually easy to talk and it has its own cool vibe

While I held high expectations for Polo Bar, an East London institution, my experience was marred by disappointing service, notably the prolonged wait for the fish and chips, exceeding 45 minutes. On a positive note, the burger, delivered in under 10 minutes, was delicious, though the accompanying onion rings were unfortunately old and cold.

Raven was a fab host. She chatted to us, talked though memu options, gave us time to make our minds up. She was welcoming, and attentive.

I’ve been in England for 8years and I can confidently say that this was the most awful occurrence I’ve had i a hospitality place. Most Servers did not speak a drop of English & the milk from the drinks was certainly expired due to its sharp sour cheese smell, texture thickness & the atrocious salty taste. We indeed told one of the staff member about the Latte & Hot Chocolate not tasting right as to which he proceeds to go behind the counter and taste the same cup that we just put in our mouth While progressing to make a judging, antagonising & distressed face at his colleagues. We did not stay inside for more than 10minutes as this place completely ruined our mood & ended up paying £12 for two sips of expired milk. I fully understand that a 24/7 branch is incredibly hard to run especially when a large contingency of the staff members are not properly trained regarding service & interpersonal skills however an EHO visit on the day we came would not give this place any higher than a 3 considering how dirty the corners were and how the tables would stick on your forearm due to lack of overall hygiene and wiping. Will make sure a Hygiene Legislator will be ministering this place soon as after talking to some friends I have found out that the last inspection at this place was almost 2years and a half ago.

It's a really nice place, the food and drinks are great, the service it's just fine, the facilities are pretty lame though.

Atmosfären är riktigt härlig bra musik i bakgrunden. Maten var jättegod och portionerna var stora, jag och min man tog amerikan burger chips With philly stak. Servitrisen var trevlig och vi fick vår mat väldigt snabbt.

As I didn’t have food I can’t not comment or score( even though I have eaten here lots of time and enjoyed it ) and my friends did have food on this occasion, but the drinks was good and the service was amazing. Summer was our waitress. She provided the best service I’ve ever had in any bar/restaurant. friendly, kind and professional. Summer personality created a great atmosphere. And we will 100% come back

Had a wonderful shepherds pie here. Best I've ever had. Service by kitty was great. Staff friendly and helpful even though they were very busy. Excellent choice of food and drink to suit everyone.

Food was the most saltiest thing i have ever eaten... the service was quite appalling and noone could i say was attentive to any guests and after waiting a good 10 or 15 minutes i had to call the waitress over as she had not come to the table to ask if i wanted anything. I waited a very long time for the drink

Semplicemente fantastico. Aperto a qualsiasi ora, cibi e bevande preparate all’istante, porzioni abbondanti e prezzi giusti, personale gentilissimo. Non solo colazioni, ma tanti altri piatti. Quando vado a Londra mangio sempre lì e quando non sono a Londra mi manca!!!

Il cibo in generale è fantastico, anche se ho sempre preso una colazione salata senza mai provare i dolci (che mi hanno detto essere ottimi). Ci vado ogni volta che torno a Londra. Servizio gentilissimo e rapido. Locale tipico, un po stretto all’interno ma rende l’atmosfera più “familiare”

Had a really meal there today. Atmosphere was nice and festive, food was good and decent portion. Edward was so attentive and friendly, excellent customer service I would definitely come back again!

We were with five people and orderd five difrent dishes. Only one was good the others were pretty bad. We had the awardwinning pancakes.... i really have no idea why they say award. It was dry and tasteless. Also the difrent milkshakes were bad! We will not becoming here again.

I had breakfast at Polo Bar ,the breakfast was nice and the portions were large . I would give the breakfast 3-5 because it was not hot enough so had to send it back . The waitress “ RENAYE” was very apologetic and very kind and couldn’t do enough to accommodate me . She is a credit to the business
