Pundits Fusion in Malvern Hills

We were recommended to give Pundits a try by the owner of the B&B we had a night’s stay booked at and the recommendation was an excellent one, especially for people like us who regularly eat and thoroughly enjoy Indian cuisine! The food was delicious and the service excellent! We were so well looked after and will definitely return on any future visit to Upton on Severn! Give it a try….I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

Well, we've been coming to you for amazing food for nearly 25 years and last night was no exception! Thank you for another lovely evening. Was good to 'sit in' again after all these lockdowns.

Warm welcome, excellent food & made to feel special even though it was early evening on a Tuesday night. The staff here always go the extra mile. Sat in the cool & peaceful courtyard garden...just lovely!

Extraordinarily good food and pleasant, friendly service. The staff went out of their way to see that we had a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The menu was original and imaginative, and the dishes on the table fully lived up to expectations.

On Friday we returned to Pundits for the first time since the lockdown ended and it was a real joy to be back. The staff were as friendly as ever and the food tasted as good as I remember, if not better. The quality is superb, the quantity is generous and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth traveling for.

Excellent quality food and service. Pickles and popadoms were very good quality. Vegetarian mixed starter was extremely tasty and freshly prepared (also very filling), likewise main courses were very good quality. Service very friendly. Dog allowed in courtyard.

Pundits is absolutely wonderful and I can’t recommend it enough. You can see the food being freshly cooked by the chefs in the restaurant. My family have been coming to this gorgeous restaurant since it opened in 1996. Absolutely fantastic to finally be able to eat in the restaurant again. Please visit and you will be in for a treat.

Everything here was excellent. The food was really, really good and the staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. This is the best Indian food I have eaten in a very long time.

First the eating in since lockdown eased and the food and service are as unbeatable as ever. Lovely atmosphere, attentive service without being overbearing and most importantly, the food is fantastic.

I had a take away last night food was excellent and staff are very friendly. Good thing was open kitchen you can see cooking front of you nothing to hide. Not many curry house has a open kitchen.

We moved recently this area looking for good curry house ask local people where to go for curry .most of people recommend pundits .we order takeaway food was great and services was excellent vale for money highly recommend.

Me and my friend went last weekend in pundits after long time still food and service is best. Juned and his team look after us . I recommend if anyone comes upton you must visit pundits they too good.

Called in here for a takeaway and was able to sit out in the courtyard enjoying a drink whilst we waited. Was not disappointed the food we had was extremely tasty and very good value. We ate the chicken with mango (delicious) and the lamb with spinach - again very good. The staff were extremely pleasant and very efficient. Will go back if we are in the area and hopefully it will be warm enough to eat in the restaurant outside.

Eventually able to have a sit down meal again, all be it outside (as the weather has pretty good today ) and the food is still as good as ever. There were several people dining outside tonight and one of the families I spoke with, said their meal was very nice as well. This restaurant is getting getting better every day.

Had another lovely meal at Pundits last night. Juned and all the team there always take really good care of us everytime we go. Great good, fab service and such nice cozy surroundings. We had our meal in their beautiful garden last night which was so nice. Pundits is just the best Indian restaurant, we wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I had a takeaway to night food good services is good price was great and the garden back open so now can be outdoor garden.

Juned & the Pundits team are always welcoming, friendly & helpful. The food is always hot, fresh & tasty, they are happy to dial down the heat in dishes to suit a curious teen who likes to try different things & she has always enjoyed the food. This is a little restaurant that always delivers. Highly recommended.

Even though I only had a takeout, the flavour and taste of the food was as if I had eaten in. Even If you can’t eat in and you have to have a takeout, you can guarantee it will taste as good.

Ordered a take-away for four from here on 18th December. It was the first time we had tried Pundits and we were not disappointed! Amazing food, it was all ready on time even though it was a large order, and every member of staff was friendly and welcoming. The portion sizes were huge (so much so that we had enough for the following day!) yet the prices were very reasonable. Fantastic value for money. We couldn't fault any of it, it was all perfect and we will certainly be back!

Socially distanced office party takeaway bonanza! Pundits really did us proud this evening, with a £20 per head extravaganza: mixed starter, choice of curry, with side dishes and Naan breads aplenty. All delicious and and tastetastic. I’ve recommended Pundits before and I have no hesitation in most warmly and unreservedly endorsing them once again.

After not being here for many months, as soon as I walked in I was shown to a table where I was greeted warmly and my order taken. Even though the restaurant was quite busy my food was not long in the making. The food was as good as ever before. The staff were very friendly. Even the chef (who doesn’t speak too much English) would come out and make an effort to talk to you and ask if everything was alright. The place is really clean and plenty of hand gel is provided. This is with out a doubt one of the (if not THE) best Indian restaurant’s around locally. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

We go all the time but managed to get in before lock down. Service incredible and the food is wonderful. The most amazing curry, our favourite curry house bar none. Thanks guys for your constantly high standards and delicious food.

Me and my friends came to pundits this Saturday. We had a dish called platter tamarin chilli. One of my friends had a scallop and spinach bhoona. It was absolutely delicious. I also had hendrick's gin and tonic which was also amazing. Thank you Juned and staff for a lovely night.

Gorgeous food and great hospitality. We came here on a Sunday night and the place was quiet, except for endless calls and drop ins for takeaways. We had the Pundits sharing platter for 2 (delicious) then the MASSIVE prawns and the lamb Tripuras Keema Mossalla, followed by mango kulfi. Absolutely outstanding. Warm, friendly hospitality and a lovely atmosphere. Obviously this place is very highly thought of by the locals too.

If you haven’t tried Pundits’s you are missing out. Nice and quite atmosphere. Friendly staff that always do an amazing job at asking how the food is. Food is amazing give it a try!

Had a delicious vindaloo that went down well with a Kingfisher beer, if you’re in Upton this is the place for a great curry

This place has an excellent reputation locally so we thought we would try it out. The food and service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Portion sizes were also great. Highly recommend it if you're in the area.

The service is only bettered by the cuisine. I can honestly say that I have never sampled better Indian cuisine. The staff are great and make you feel instantly welcome. I would thoroughly recommend it.

We ate at Pundits during a 2 day stay in Upton Upon Severn. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming and the service was excellent. We were made to feel very at home and our host was very attentive. Food was superb - all freshly cooked, plenty of it and good value. Would highly recommend eating here if you are in the area.

Pundits is our favourite Indian! The atmosphere in the cosy and warm restaurant along with the superb staff who will always greet you with a welcome makes you want to go back! That’s even before the food- always top notch and the best Indian in town!!

Lovely staff, great food (and lots of it). We didn't know the place so played safe. I ordered a Lamb Biryani and my partner ordered a Chicken Korma. We started with a Chana Chat to share but we were brought one each by the friendly waiter. This may be why we couldn't finish our main meal. A small but vocal stag party arrived just after we ordered. Bearing in mind this is a very small restaurant they took over the place which was annoying. The staff seemed to sense this and were very attentive to us. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly. Be very hungry when you go there. :)

If you live in worcestershire this is the best curry and the best service you will find. I come every month with friends and the service and food is high end. A guaranteed great night out. I mean guaranteed.

I live in Tewkesbury and I came over to pundits with my wife. I had a garlictalapia starter, my wife had a meat pepper starter. For the main course I had lamb methi and my wife had the pundits fish supreme. We had a lovely time and the food was great. We also were able to talk to the chefs and see our food being cooked because they have an open kitchen, which not many curry houses have. 5 star.

We had a wonderful meal and the service was brilliant, very friendly. There is an open kitchen so you can see the chefs cooking your food. There is also a garden and lots of space and lots of tables. Fantastic place, very happy with my visit.

With working long hours during the lockdown I rarely wanted to cook for myself once home. This place was a true life saver! Even though times are tough for everyone pundits still delivered above and beyond on there food even though it was takeaway only the care and effort that they put in was no different to it you was sitting in and having a meal have been a customer for here for years and will still continue for many year to come well done lads keep it up!

As regular visitors to Upton upon Severn we enjoy eating out and have tried all the restaurants / take away's the town has to offer. The best by far for tasty food, service, fantastic atmosphere, cleanliness and lovely staff is Pundits Fusion. We have visited many times and have never been disappointed the food is simply excellent in ample portions. Can't recommend highly enough well worth a visit.

1st eat in after lockdown and I wasn’t alone, they all said the meal was just as good as before. The boys here are still very polite and in my opinion the food is still just as good. I even happened to speak to another trucker (who came in for a takeaway) he said the food is the best around. He also said “What is understood needn’t be discussed”

This was our first opportunity to book since January.Amazing as usual. Choice is amazing flavours are excellent portions are substantial.Poppadoms are so crispy and the naans are to die for.As a couple who have had at least one curry a week for last 35 years this is our favourite place.Please give them a try. Forgot the service is pretty good as well

Pundits is consistently the best in the area & has been for more years than I can remember. The fresh ingredients & superb cooking are 2nd to none. Still open for takeaways in these difficult times we again had a great meal. Juned & his staff are very knowledgable & go out of their way to help. Highly recommended.

I had a takeaway last Saturday night still best curry house in Worcestershire. Meat methi was best very tender and soft. Don’t let times like this put you off a takeaway very fresh very clean service.

This place is a tiny gem of a curry house in Upton.

Really enjoyed the food and conversations with Juned the owner. The decor is cozy and comfortable. The lamb was amazing and the naan was some of the best I've ever had. Yes, I know naan is almost great anywhere that they make it fresh but for some reason, the two times I have been, the naan was really remarkable.

Great takeaway from the guys at Pundits, fantastic service as always and yet again they prove their food is the best around without question. Thanks Juned we can’t wait to come back!!

We were on a girls weekend and used Trip advisor to find a restaurant. Well what a find, Juned was so helpful in recommending starters and mains, the flavours were amazing ! great tasting food and excellent value. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in town.

Been to this restaurant a few times now, and enjoyed a variety of different dishes. Lots of gluten free options and coeliac friendly. Tiger prawns are delicious! Freshly cooked and you can see the kitchens and the chef cooking too. Excellent service throughout. Best in Upton, you won’t be disappointed.

Been going to Pundits for years now and I can honestly say it's still the best Indian restaurant I've eaten in.

Sit down and breathe a sigh of relief, let yourself be cared for at pundits: exquisite Bangladeshi food, along with care and attention to the customer. You can be confident in the authenticity of this restaurant which doesn’t pretend to be anything other than a genuine experience of quality food and relaxation. We visited Pundits on New Year’s eve. This was the second time we have visited the restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The food choice is varied and good and very reasonably priced. The food itself (we had a selection of vegetarian based foods) was really tasty and freshly made and so good we took our left overs home for the next day.

After celebrating a pre Christmas meal here with my girlfriend when even though we were late for our booking, and the place was packed our food was still good.

I recently celebrated a special birthday at Pundits. After a warm welcome, we had prompt service and had EXCELLENT food. Pundits’ ability to produce a high standard of food on a consistent basis means that we are never disappointed. The evening was capped off by a surprise birthday cake and all the staff and other customers joined in - there is always such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and ambience. Thank you Pundits!

After comming to this establishment for many years it never disappoints as is just as good as the first time. The food is incomparable to any other curry house i have been too as they always produce their meals to a high standard. My personal favourites the lamb keema is highly recomemded. It has a great enviroment to suit just about any occasion weather its for family or friends. If you havent experineced pundits your missing out!!!

This is generally my first choice in Upton, although inevitably I have eaten in other places locally.

Pundits was a good restaurant but our last visit was disappointing. The food was average and the service was poor, it is no longer the best Indian restaurant in Upton.

I have written about Pundits before, but I wanted to reinforce my admiration of this restaurant. I have just returned from a PE dept Christmas dinner, where 11 of us sat down in the back room and were looked after royally by Juned and his team. Delicious food, thoughtful service and a great atmosphere. Don’t think twice about giving Pundits a visit, you don’t need to be in a party of smelly PE teachers either!
