Refreshment Bar in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

My favourite mr whippy ice cream anywhere- and some nice scooped ice creams too. Plus nice coffees and really nice decent sandwiches at a very reasonable price. Lovely views while the kids can play in the playground.

We ordered Cromer crab baguettes which were fresh,tasty and reasonably priced. The coffee was top notch and locally made ice cream also. It has a cosy seating area with sea views. An excellent experience!

This is situated on the hill next to the sea front, next to the putting green. Snacks , sandwiches, hot meals, cakes and ice creams are served here. Cold and hot drinks are available and the foot tastes nice and fresh. The seating is outside and shaded from the sun. Peaceful place and a play ground is next door. Staff are wonderful and make you feel welcome.

Owner and staff are pleasant always have a smile...not a large choice but sensible to ensure the food is served fresh hot and delicious..we always come here for lunch when we visit hunstanton. There are other bars and restaurants but we find the refreshments bar is in our opinion the best..P.S. their ice cream is delicious and they serve ice cream for dogs. Our husky will vouch for it..

Always stop here for coffee when we visit Hunstanton usually before our walk. Haven’t reviewed before as didn't know what it was called (sorry!) It’s proper coffee and service is excellent too. There is also an undercover seating area in front.( It’s situated next to the kids play area and pitch and putt )

Whilst on holiday in Hunstanton, staying across the road from the Refreshment Bar, we visited every day. The lady who owns it is really nice, as are her staff, and her customer service is first class. The scones and strawberry milkshake are to die for and we practically worked our way through the entire 'menu' of ice creams (highly recommend the stem ginger and the lavender flavours but you must try them all as they are all amazing). Eldest daughter said that it was the best mocha in town! When we think of our week away, this lovely little place will be our first memory.

You’d expect being asked what garnish you want with your order a rarity. No so at The Refreshment Bar just opposite Boston Square Hunstanton Couple that with a can-do attitude by the owner which cascades and resonates with the staff, you must visit!

Sunday Lunch was a experience of good old fashioned customer service coupled with passion for top quantity food. Value like this I thought forgotten in the veils of yesteryear

We have just been here with a group of elderly people from the local care home. It was really lovely sitting outside under the shade having drinks and cakes. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Very nice place to stop off and have a rest.

The Customer Service offered by Charmaine and her staff epitomises what Mahatma Gandhi spoke about “A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption of our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider of our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favour by serving him. He is doing us a favour by giving us the opportunity to do so.”

We were tempted to stop as we walked by with the range of local ice cream on offer. My wife played it safe with a locally flavoured strawberry ice cream. I tried out the Lavender flavour, it was great! Try it.

We come here every time we visit Hunstanton. The food and service are always excellent a real little gem with honest food and values. A Bacon & Egg bap with a coffee is a great way to start any day, then back for lunch and a delicious ice cream. They always have a smile on their face and very welcoming. We look forward to visiting again !!

Nice place to stop. Low prices and friendly faces. Very dog friendly. Even sells doggy ice cream. Coffee and chips were perfect. Defiantly stop by here.

Very friendly and quick service even tho we visited when busy, excellent presentation with everything we order! We had Coffees, ice creams, milkshakes, home made apple pie with custard and sandwiches which came with crisps, salad and homemade coleslaw. Even a dog icecream for the dog. All was delicious and fairly price. Will be visiting again

Off the beaten track a bit, so guessing that's why it's a bit over priced? Service very friendly. Just pricey - branded coffee shop prices for a small very strong coffee. Not sure if all 8 or 9 cakes available really are fresh and homemade as advertised. I think if the prices go down more people might buy. Concerns too that almost all reviewers are 1st timers? Not sure I'd call for coffee again, maybe an ice cream if I'm that way.

Great friendly little place to stop while out walking the dog. We stopped here today and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff are very friendly, the owners have spent a lot of time making the shaded seating area as nice as possible adding plants and a fresh coat of paint. The cafe offers a variety of hot and cold food including some very special cakes and a new range of doggy ice cream which our dogs enjoyed very much. I would highly recommend stopping here as would my little dogs!

Found this little beauty when walking along the top of hunstanton cliffs. Situated just as we needed a refreshment break & snacks. Opposite lovely sensory gardens, play park & mini golf. Very relaxing & catered for all of our needs including our dogs. We shall definitely return here & highly recommend !

A wonderful place to visit amazing customer service set next to small park was a great place to visit with young children, excellent food will definitely make sure we visit again!

Stopped off for a cold drink and ended up having one of the best milkshakes I have had in a long time actually made with ice cream! Can't beat a proper milkshake can't wait to try the different flavours

Lovely & clean with friendly service. There was plenty of home made cakes to choose from I had the carrot cake it was out of this world the best I've ever tasted.

Lovely food. Definitely recommend the fresh crab sandwich and the cream teas were delicious. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. Definitely worth the walk from the pier.

Took my 3 young boys for a snack and drink and found this perfectly quiet and just out of the way restaurant staff were wonderful with my children food was superb :) we left a very happy and fulfilled family :)

I had the most tasty and delicious home made cake here. Will deffinatly be returning soon. Staff were very helpfull and friendly. Highly recommended

Found this little gem of a coffee/ cafe shop on a long stroll along the prom on route to lighthouse.

Tucked in between the bowling green and the pitch and putt along Hunstanton cliff top is the delightful Refreshment Bar offering well presented, tasty food and a good selection of drinks and ice creams. Service is friendly and efficient. We'll worth a visit
