Sentado Lounge in Swale

I stopped off for lunch before getting on my train. The staff were amazing, so welcoming and attentive. I was impressed that I could get a small amount of tasty food as I can't eat large amounts and usually have to order a big meal and leave! I cleared my plate, a rare thing! A very nice experience much aided by the lovely staff.

My son and daughter in law took us here this morning for an early birthday breakfast. ( They have visited here a few times when going to the cinema) what a nice place, the food was freshly cooked, and very tasty indeed. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It is also pet friendly , dogs need to be on a lead, there were a few in there but no trouble what so ever. While we were eating our breakfast a lady came over to us and started asking us for something, as soon as the lady who served us saw this happening she came straight over and told her to go away and leave us alone, stating that she had already been in earlier trying to scam customers. Will we be visiting here again ?? Yes we will

Unfortunately we had a really bad experience at Santado - Sittingbourne, on Saturday 9th March - out for Mothers Day. Firstly, it wasn't busy so there is not reason for the level of service we got. I don't expect a red carpet, but I do expect a level of service if I am in your establishment paying for that service. The young boy that greeted us at the door (if you can call it greeting) was very rude. I was told over the phone that I couldn't book a table for 8 over the weekend. This boy huffed and puffed because we hadn't booked. He then slammed 2 tables together for us, and walked passed us without saying a word. I ask, is that where we are sitting then. He turned his head over his shoulder as he walked away and said, yeah, like a stroppy teenager. The glasses on every single drink we had (for 8 people) were so dirty with water stains that you could hardly see through them. I wish I'd taken a picture now as I'm really not joking. After asking to change our glasses, we were brought more glasses in just as bad condition. A few of us didn't finish our drinks. No table service so constantly had to keep getting up from the table. But at the counter I was called lovely, babe and my sweet by the young girls working there that are old young enough to be my daughters. The food was ok but nothing special. Didn't like the fact that if you want to run up a tab, they take your card from you and it is left in a little folder on a shelf for all to see. We had to ask, twice, for our table to be cleared. We left after our main meals and got the kids ice cream in the near MacDonald's as the service and the cleanliness of their restaurant was better. And I hate MacDonald's. Will NOT be going back... Ever, and will never, ever recommend. Level of approach to service is horrendous.

Always love my experience here! I go most Sundays and it's always a great time. Every member of staff is amazing but Emma always stands out. Her attention to customers needs is amazing. Highly recommend :)

My partner and I have found Sentado Lounge to be a great breakfast spot. Emma always makes every visit a delight, and Carmelo is always sure to make us feel welcome!

Always love food and drinks here, staff are always friendly you order at the bar or through a qr code. Atmosphere is nice and toilets always clean. The food although could do with fuller options on the vegan menu as they tend to not contain much food for the price.

We love this place...the staff are always friendly & really helpful. We are always made to feel so welcome. The food is delicious, never had a disappointment here. Really worth every penny & we love the way its decorated. Such an asset to Sittingbourne!

Excellent venue on every count (including the background music)

We got a takeaway lunch from here £9.55 for a panini and £3.30 for sweet potato fries. You only need to have a look at the photos to see it was a disappointing meal .. 10 fries (roughly) and can’t see the meat in the panini. The reason for the bad review is they couldn’t even reply when I said it was disappointing (messaged more than once and jt was a nice message to make them aware .. their photo advertised looks nothing like what was recieved ) ! I understand someone new could have started or they were rushed of their feet. But if someone has sent them a message to make them aware of a disappointing meal, that person deserves a reply ! We spent £45 between 3 of us on Takeaway lunches .. never again.

Had a wonderful Sunday brunch, with my partner, my daughter and her 14 week old pup! The staff were super friendly, to both humans and our canine! We are vegetarian and there is an amazing choice. I am looking forward to our next visit.

Our 1st visit to this restaurant to meet up with old work colleagues. Very nice the town centre has certainly had a rejuvenation in recent years. Nice atmosphere. Shame you have to order everything at the bar or via app, sorry bit old fashioned but nice to have table service. Nice enough staff and great vegan menu. Food was really nice but portions a little on the small side. Very nice for trainee bar staff to approach our table with their 'tester' cocktail for free to try out. It was lovely but not one we'd had before. May I suggest you approach a table and ask for their favourite cocktail then there's a better chance of better comparison and feedback. Reasonable prices. We've become regulars in Sentado and love it for a number of reasons . Food is always amazing, atmosphere is great and the staff are always friendly and so welcoming. Special shout out to Emma and Carmelo who always make us feel welcome and help us with toys for our little boy. There's loads of space for prams and is really accessible! Thank you so much as always.

This has to be the worst meal I've ever had my daughter had one mouthful and left it all had a chicken meal dry tasteless sorry no tasted of bad oil Should have had a macdonalds

I was looking forward to this all week but ended up being really dissapointed. We ordered four tapas dishes to start, all of which came luke warm. I guess these dishes are prepared in advance and left under a heat lamp but the food was tepid - maybe the bulb in the lamp blew.... The pale ale I ordered was flat and quite watery. Finally The Goan Lamb Curry was obviously microwaved as it was served with a steaming hot slice of lime!!! ... Plus the lamb and curry sauce were seperated in the dish!!! So my guess is the lamb comes in one packet, the curry sauce in the other, they were both thrown in the dish and then microwaved with the rice and lime slice. This is not how curry is cooked.... We originally wanted to stay for desert as it was a special occasion, but by this point I was so underwhelmed with everything we decided to leave and grab a cake from the local shop. Really.... really poor. The service was good though, and the decor is nice....

Emma is always welcoming and gives us great service. Nothing is too much trouble and she always has a smile on her face. Sentado is a family and dog friendly lounge and it's always a pleasure to eat there.

Visited with family for drinks and light bites, service was average and the waitress had a attitude problem when questioned about our drinks being half full (our cocktails) to which we all had one and they are 8 or £9 each! They said that’s how they are measured and made, the tiny glass had a sip on it! Charging for it but don’t want to give what we paid for? We love this place generally but after the bad experience it’s put us all off. So gutted! We loved the quiz nights

Absolutely love this place - can't recommend it highly enough. Food is lush and the staff are lovely. Do yourself a favour and get yourself in there and enjoy!

It's ok, not had a bad meal at Santardo to be fair, but there is not much variety and choice on the menu. If you want a quick bite with a few beers/wines it's great, if you want a romantic meal to impress it's probably not the place. When we went they had run out of a few options due to a busy Christmas period, which is understandable but limited the menu even more.

Nice food and decent coffee. Not to bad price.

First time visit, and first impressions were that it was far better than expected,. Samplled the Ros'e wine and it was superb 👌. Will definitely re-visit and try other wines on offer. The Lounge is now Dog friendly and I think that's a nice touch to the place. Had a group reservation booked for a birthday meal. Food was adequate, nothing special, but the set meal price advertised in advance was not honoured and the difference amounted to an extra £70 having to be paid 👎

Meeting up with family to have a Birthday lunch.

Visited on a Saturday evening with my husband and daughter. Nice and easy ordering through the phone and drinks came promptly despite being busy. The venue is nicely decorated and comfortably laid out. Husband and I both ordered different burgers and were very impressed- super tasty and the chips were delicious! The cocktail was very nice and husband enjoyed his after dinner milkshake. The highlight of the evening was definitely the staff- who were super attentive and brilliant with my daughter, with one waitress taking her to see their Christmas elf and to pick out a board game to play (yes- they have board games to choose from!). All of the staff we encountered were fabulous! Overall, lovely food, venue and brilliant employees that Sentando should be proud of.

Maggie and Sam were amazing the entire night! So charismatic and fun! Full of laughs and made the night even better! So amazing staff!! Greats drinks and fast service!

Always excellent with massive gluten free and vegan menus

Had a warm welcome... Good food and fantastic service from our waitress... She went above and beyond for us... Even though they looked rather busy...think her name was Amy but not to sure... 10/10 for service and food... Cauliflower curry is to die for!

A nice restaurant, vast menu, something for everyone. Ordering is done via a QR code on your phone, bit odd but manageable. Decent value👌🏻

The Lounge was great, very business night but the staff was still attentive to our needs and quick to serve us. Food was excellent, came out quick as did the drinks. All in all, great night out would recommend.

Went for a meal with friends on a Friday and the place was heaving - we were lucky to get a table! Food was pretty decent; we ordered from across the menu and everything was tasty and well presented, and portion sizes were decent. The cocktails were also very good. Ordered from the QR code and everything arrived quickly. Only down side is they seem to deliberately(?) not clear the tables. We had more drinks arriving, literally nowhere to put them, and had to ask the waiter to take some empties/clear the obviously finished with plates! Seemed to be the same at all the other tables too. Overall a decent meal though; would happily recommend.

Came here when opened - wasn't overly impressed, but came here again = extremely good. Warm welcome, had great tapas, quick service, very polite, good selection of dribks & extensive & varied food menue. Good atmosphere, too - relaxed, chilled, not too loud, good vibe. Would recommend.

This is not an area I know well. I know of Sittingbourne (of course) But what an unexpected little find, I decided to go in for a coffee with my sister whilst we waited for someone coming by train. It's directly opposite the train station. So very convenient. First impressions are of staff who care about the people that come in... offering options and showing a real interest in their choices. Service was great, a light breakfast couldn't have been better. I would seriously recommend this place - whether waiting on a train or pre or post cinema food and drinks, lovely atmosphere. Really great customer service.

We really enjoyed our first visit today and will be back. We weren’t planning on going, and actually didn’t know it was there, but we were driving through sittingbourne and the exterior caught our eye so decided to give it a go. As soon as we arrived the staff were friendly so we knew we wanted to stay. Thank you 😊

Great place to go for a coffee and food they also have a gluten free menu. Good atmosphere and relaxing. I don’t normally eat burgers but I do here very good along with tapas, it also dog friendly.

Have been here before and had a good experience but today the saucer was filthy and glasses had dirty water in the bottom presumably from washing up (which hadn't been done properly). Shame as it's one of the only decent places in Sittingbourne!

Very well administered restaurant area. Always clean tables, lighting and music at the right levels and food is very nice. No long waits and friendly staff.

Nice vegan and gluten free menu with a variety of options. The food tasted fresh, we didn't have to wait too long as it wasn't too busy on Sunday evening. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.

Food was ok but to be honest it was way over priced for what I got.

Eat here regularly love the food. I usually get eggs I used to get the falafel bowl but they stopped doing the larger bowl I ordered the small one but it was to small for me and didn't order again. I don't eat meat so my options anywhere are always limited. Staff are friendly seem to have different staff regularly see the same faces somtimes but there are alot of new ones recently. Maybe a high turn around of staff? Food is delicious for whatever u order. I love my tea also and it's always made so nice such a small thing but makes all the difference. Eating in experience the place is well decorated and the atmosphere is lovely people who come in are soon greeted and seated. It's my favourite place to eat in sittingbourne and when I visit I always get takeaway from there I hope the place stays the same and doesn't change.

the food was brilliant but the milkshake wasn't "shaking" for me as it tastes very bland and flavourless. Got my drink replaced though even though I didn't mind taking another drink but the lady was very kind to replace the milkshake. Good atmosphere, wasn't overcrowded during the day which makes it even better for an afternoon lunch .

If you don't like a noisy environment this probably isn't the place for yiu I a Saturday night but I lived it here. Amazing food, the resturant is lovely, and the staff are working their arses off and still manage to be very helpful

Great place. Hidden gem in Sittingbourne. Would definitely come back. Good variety of food and very children friendly. Great service as well. Clean toilets.

A decent enough Café/Bar located close to Sittingbourne's town centre. It has quite a cool, relaxed vibe about it with decent music playing at a good level to still allow for conversion. The service has been a bit hit and miss on the last couple of visits, with a few mistakes being made, although nothing that hasn't been rectified and it certainly wouldn't stop us from returning. The food was pretty good and there is a good selection with some unique choices that you don't normally find in most pubs and restaurants. There is also a car park just outside and easy access for wheelchairs.

Glad I bought a drink and checked menu before getting a table or I'd still be waiting! So, I sat down and waited, waited and waited for 35 minutes. Finished my drink and still no sign of any service so walked out. Absolutely disgusting. Great atmosphere though but some serious problems with the staff.

High quality food. As an Asian myself who eat mostly oriental food, this is a very high quality fried rice. I was not expected much when I was ordering Asian food in a pub, only hoping it not to taste bad, but it has completely exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly and a quiet setting during lunch time.

We’ve been a few times and never had any kind of problems or issues the food is great, it’s not gourmet but it’s satisfying and filling! You can also go in the evening for cocktails ect and it’s all order on the app, dogs are also welcome

Food was delicious, I had the Mexican Superbowl and a side of sweet potato fries. And then the jammy donut ice cream for dessert. All amazing! Cocktails were amazing! I had the grapefruit margarita, devine! The music was turned up which was a slight issue for me as I have sensory issues but nothing some earbuds didn't fix. lovely atmosphere. Only two small issues. We asked for water and none came (but we were pretty happy with the cocktails anyway!) And as a group of o we were hoping to book but were unable to at this location. They had to put tables together for us which we appreciate. But it would be good to know you have definitely got a reservation. All in all, Lovely and would go again!

Great place for tapas. The food was very nice but the nicest part was the cheerful staff who do a great job of making sure their customers are happy. There were 2 of us and we ordered the 3 dish tapas deal each giving us 6 dishes to share and they were all lovely.

Waited ages to be seated, even looked at to acknowledge we were waiting and it was empty so felt neglected from the start then was sent to a dirty table for 4 but asked for seven so baffled I pointed out there was only four chairs which the staff chucked one more chair at table and screwed up the dirty menu she was expecting me to touch, apparently you only get three menus to seven people and wasn't given kids menus had to get them myself, all in all a shame as it was a 16th birthday meal and the staff really let it down. Love this place! I often go here with friends or my partner. Quick, easy and tasty food. Good cocktails, nicely laid out, calm relaxing environment.
