Social 114 in Wirral

Only went for coffees, so can't comment on food. Coffees were fine, bit small but nice cups. Lots of other people were eating. Looks like a place where local woman folk meet.

Wonderful place. Delicious food. No1 brunch go to in the area. Can't fault anything about this place. If you haven't been I can't recommend it highly enough. 5* all the way EDIT - 12 months later. This is still a great place using high quality ingredients. They now open selected evenings for wood fired pizza nights. The prices have risen, but I'm not holding that against them. The menu has changed. I'm not as keen on the selection, there are less vegetarian options if that's what you are looking for. Last year it was my number one choice, this year it's not. Can't fault the quality ingredients tho.

Following several unsuccessful attempts, my partner and I were delighted to finally secure a table today. The bustling atmosphere spoke volumes about the popularity of this establishment, yet it was well worth the wait, especially the food which was absolutely unbelievable. The staff's welcoming hospitality was impeccable, with one standout employee—a red-haired individual whose name we didn’t catch. Despite it being super busy, she ensured that each customer received attentive service both at the till and again at the table. Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding efforts, we will definitely be making an attempt to return again.

Friday night Pizza and a couple of Black Lodge beers! Who could ask for more? The staff are great at making you feel welcome, the food always tastes fresh and is well presented. See ya soon, Social 114.

Visited after a long walk along New Brighton prom on a lovely sunny day. Both had breakfast, full English and a vegetarian version. Both much enjoyed. Recommended.

Oh WoW the best poached eggs, Avo on sourdough. Runny yoke & soft Avocado is so tasty & friendly staff that take the time to talk. Watch out for the Michelin ⭐️ that must be coming their way soon 🤩 Now to talk about the Coffee, A rich black Americano with great flavour. ⚠️ No burnt or old beans were used in the making of this coffee 💯😋

Recently dined in for the launch of their pizza menu - unreal pizzas and great dish choices. Super tasty food and lovely service. The atmosphere is great in there and it really fit the evening environment. We’ve been in for brunch a few times before and couldn’t recommend that more. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is always spot on. I think we’ve found our new favourite spot 👌🏼

Went for a woodfired Pizza last night, really enjoyed the wild mushroom one and the verdet Larger was superb, my partner had the aubergine one and she enjoyed that too.Had a nice bottle of Rose, they have a really good selection and some unusual ones. Great little venue and nice cosy atmosphere, will be back soon.

Not your typical café - there are plenty of those. Good to see someone trying a slightly different approach. Interesting menu, well presented food, friendly and helpful staff. Gracias.

Absolutely love this place, it's our local cafe and we go every few weekends. The food and service is fantastic as is the atmosphere. They also hold wood fired pizza evenings which are excellent. Thank you for being such a community hub 🙌

From time to time, we all come across places that are unexpectedly special. This is, without a doubt, the best cafe I’ve had the pleasure of visiting in years. We spent 4 days in New Brighton & visited Social 114 every day. Because it’s so good. The service is the right level of friendly, the coffee & beer were great, as was the food (we had brunch two days in a row & the creamy mushrooms are off the scale delicious) the cakes were fantastic, and importantly for us, the understanding/attentiveness to allergies was on point. Keep doing what you’re doing, Social 114. There are other great things I haven’t mentioned in this review that were also wonderful, & I hope we return one day to try your pizzas. Wish more cafes would do what you’re doing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely love the atmosphere ,the food is amazing also there is lots of vegan options. came here every day for 3 days I definitely recommend the vegan blueberry muffin. in my opinion there is nothing bad about this café 🤩🤩🤩😀👍

Visited today for the first time had scrambled egg and smoked salmon on sourdough toast, absolutely delicious. So nice to have a proper mug of tea too! Lovely friendly polite staff, extremely clean. Lots of vegetarian choice too. I will be back! If you do nothing else this week, treat yourself to breakfast here!

We had a gorgeous lunch there today! Husband had the Mushroom Hash ,I had the creamy mushroom on sour bread,both delicious coffee was perfection too. Well worth a visit.

The best food, atmosphere and staff in New Brighton. The creamy mushroom on toast is a must-try, along with jammy dodger & white chocolate cookie and vanilla chai sponge cake. I would eat here everyday if I could!

Coffee is exeptional. I visited twice this week and on both occasions staff were friendly and the food and drink were consistently great. The coffee shop is very clean and is also dog friendly. A nice relaxed atmosphere and nice decor. I will be visiting again.

Fantastic local place. Brunch/lunch food is very tasty and great quality. The service is very friendly, both Vick and Bob are brilliant hosts. The evening vibe is relaxing and the pizzas are gorgeous. We are so lucky to have this gem in our Neighborhood.

What a golden gem of a place. In the heart of New Brighton serving a fabulous breakfast. Clearly a popular new venue that seems to have hit the right cord with locals. I had the Chorizo Hash and Sourdough toast with a Cappuccino. I will be back!

One of the best brunches I've had in a long time. Mushroom hash with a fried egg. The harissa it was cooked in was divine. The Ferraro Rocher cruffin was delicious. Great coffee too, with oat milk available.

Popped in for cake and coffee, good oat milk latte and hot chocolate. The ginger cake was delicious. The have a food menu which is available until 3pm, earlier in the week. They also open of an evening during the weekend. Friendly staff and in a great location.

Gorgeous food. One of the best fried eggs I have ever eaten. Beautifully presented. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We will be back to try more of the menu.

Perfect. 👌 Also, 114 is dog friendly - absolutely delighted! 🐶 Came back to try pizza 🍕🍷 of an evening with friends. Absolutely delicious! So refreshing not to be shouting over loud music, really attentive staff, fast service and the desert was lush. ❤️❤️❤️

Wow! Popped in here today and stumbled across one of the best brunches i have had in ages. Wish i hadn’t found this place as i’m going to end up spending lots of money 🙈

What an absolute gem this place was. My partner recommended it, and I was very glad she did. Not an overwhelmingly large menu, but the options were well varied, flavourful, and prepared incredibly well. A coffee with a peanut butter & banana sourdough on toast was delicious, and came in at a very reasonable price. Friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and well presented. One of those places you'd happily revisit over and over. Absolutely flawless experience all around.
