Loved everything about this place , the food was fantastic, really was a delight to eat here with the family! From kids meal to whatever you choose I am sure you will not be left disappointed!

Loved this place, drove 30 minutes to get there, and will happily do it again. Had the ultimate ans couldn't fault it. I am looking forward to working my way through their menu.

Sugar Rays is an American style restaurant serving burgers, steaks, pizzas etc. The menu is extensive and there are many dishes which I would like to try. We started with Chilli Cheese bites which were a great starter dish. My wife had a chicken burger and I had the Giganti stack which was very tasty and filling! It had real champ, chicken breast, bacon and beef brisket topped with peppered sauce. I really enjoyed it. I was too full for a dessert but at £8 each they would need to be pretty special! I would definitely go back to Sugar Rays because there's lots to choose from on the menu and the service was really good. I recommend it!

Never once have I had a bad meal in this place and the servings are more than adequate. Service is excellent but not too rushed. Have been many times and will continue to go as often as possible.

This place always delivers good quality, service and is always lively and buzzing with people of all ages, families, couples etc. Its not juat a burger places as if you the other options your unlokelh to be disappointed. Location and ease of parkinv make this an ease venue to access.

Great food and not to bad price wise though very similar to blue Chicago with some slightly different food on the menu. I would definitely be back the streak was great.

Food was so salty it was horrible, pavlova if you could call it that, coffee weak. It’s been a while since I was in Sugar Ray’s, very disappointing, so expensive £100 wasted especially when you don’t eat half of what you ordered due to lack of quality. Service was good, girl was lovely but sorry no tip food really bad & don’t think I could return.

Flawless visit! Clean, tidy restaurant. Great service from Niamh who was polite, efficient & funny. No mistakes made with our table of 5 x2courses. Food was hot, tasty & great portions.

This would of been my regular dining place for dinner, went last night around 7 o'clock and got myself some porky fries , half way through i knew something wasn't right but payed my bill and left , from 4am the next morning I have been projectile vomiting 🤮🤢will not be back.........

Probably was expecting too much. The most disappointing dish was the "world famous" mac and cheese, there was a stale and funky taste to it, an old taste to it. At first I thought maybe they were using a booji cheese, but now I'm not too sure. It tasted like an old woman's foot!!! Wouldn't recommend.

The burgers here are great and the chicken is even better. This will defintely be one of my new favourite spots in the Belfast area - the service was quick and friendly too. The atmosphere is nice and has a modern diner style interior. The only downside is that the chicken strips portion could be better for the price of the meal. Still a really great experience and great meals for a meal out!

You can't go wrong with a sugar rays. The beef is lovely, kids portions are great too.

2 dishes out of 4 were cold. Not very impressed unfortunately.

Talk about going to the dogs, used to love sugarrays, went as a couple, what a complete let down, got the battered chicken for starters which wasnt bad, chicken bit dry at ends, main meal steak sandwich, steak well done but was like shoe leather, tastless and dry, plus tasted bit iffy,chips were like frozen chips left sitting and reheated, mash was like smash from a bag uneatable,desert was nice, pavolva, partner got sesame chicken which wasnt to bad, 1 starter 2 meals 2 deserts 3 drinks £85, wont be back.

Be very hungry before you order .Great food here, well priced.

Fabulous ribs and honey chilli chicken

Buffalo wings over sauced , children running around but which is rather hazardous in busy restaurant.

My family of five enjoyed a lunch here. The food was delicious and the service was quick. Portions were very large, we will definitely be back.

I always swear never to go back to the "restaurants" at Dundonald cinema. Really poor quality, frozen, overpriced fast food. It's like the shop "Iceland" opened a hot food outlet.

Even with a short staffed kitchen the food was quick and very nice 👌

Really cool spot, sad I have never been in before. Burger was incredible, Mac and cheese was a gamble but it was really good, maybe a little under seasoned, a spicy Mac and cheese would be a nice addition. Either way already recommended to friends. 👍

Never had a bad meal and had been there loads of times.

Great food, large portions and good prices. There's plenty of parking but the whole complex gets busy between 6-8. Christmas menu was available when I visited 1 December and it was very good. I'm only sorry the excellent turkey & ham dinner was so substantial I didn't feel I could manage dessert. I was looking forward to the 'Santa Sundae Jar'.

I love Sugar Rays, it is one of my favourite restaurants, especially when I am going to the cinema with my best friend. The food is always consistently fantastic, the staff are very attentive, the service is fast and efficient, and it is always incredibly busy. I think it is reasonably priced, especially given the portion sizes!

Very yummy food and street fighter is fun.

This is one of my favourite dining places in Belfast. Food is always served delicious with wide variety of choices. Staff are always courteous and nice. I’ve never had any bad experience from this restaurant.

We got steak sandwich with chips and deserts and tea it was lovely but the young fella that served us was brilliant he was so attentive and they where busy too

Great service as always. Everything was perfect! We have always enjoyed eating here with friend and family.

It was brilliant, my partner got a half rack of ribs and I got goujons, goujons could've been cooked a little longer and I'd asked for a different dip but was presented the same dip on menu which I couldn't eat, it was quite loud and people in the queue saying rude remarks about other diners saying "they've finished eating why won't they leave" so that was abit off putting but apart from that I loved it!

My wife's dinner was very , like it was heated up more than once,don't think I be in a hurry back

4.5 out of 10 -The mac and cheese was not good at all, the chicken strips perfectly battered but tasted off, sitting out too long and flavourless. The chicken wings were nice and the BBq sauce was great. The main course, mash was not anything exceptional and almost reheated in the microwave. The bacon and chicken meat was dry and overcooked, bacon almost gave the burned flavour and the chicken was flavourless again. The beef brisket was very nice. The sauces tasted cheap and very watery. Sauces should be thicker than water. Overall wont be back as we weren't blown away by anything.

Excellent food and drink, very quick and no long waiting for your order. Place very clean atmosphere is amazing especially the music they play as it caters for everyone. Staff very attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

I have to say we both had a good experience here. From the food being good, quick service and very attentive and friendly staff. Big portions that we both could not finish.

The special burgers throughout the year is what makes this place. The Halloween inspired "Zombie Burger" was absolutely fantastic. The chilli cheese bites as a topping made it. If you like cheese you'll love this burger. Knife and fork required however because of the sauce on the lid!

The atmosphere was great, was someone's birthday and they sang happy birthday. I ordered chicken goujons and chips, and the chips were great. However, the chicken goujons tasted like rubber! Very tuff just more like rubber than chicken. I didn't even eat it, I ate one-half of the dish of chicken goujons I got with my chips and said that was enough. Enough to not have me back, the food wasn't great. The bbq wings I got for starter was OK. Far better than the rubber chicken though...

Went here after the Belfast Half-Marathon - and considering we were a soaked, sweaty (and probably a bit smelly!) bunch, the staff were really friendly! Nothing was too much trouble for them (even splitting the bill, which some places we've been to have grumbled at), and they even offered to make our designated driver a coffee to take away! The food was amazing, and the portion sizes were pretty spot on - especially for the price. Highly recommend.

Asked for the allergens menu for Dairy and Soy and was told everything was cooked in soya oil and they couldn't do anything for my daughter. Our whole party had to leave.

I witnessed a member of staff be very rude to what seemed to be a young girl. This kind of thing is unacceptable and I won't be returning my buisness here.

What a massive disappointment. Firstly brought the wrong milkshake for the child so they'd to take it away and bring the right one. Then food came out and mine was missing cornbread. Again they rectified this and brought me one which I assume had been freshly microwaved and was roasting hot. That was the hottest part of my meal. Myself and my partner ordered the ultimate and it wasn't hot at all, the ribs were actually cold as where the chicken wings. Coleslaw was very salty, kids food was cold too (1 adult meal and 2 kids meals) pretty sure only the pizzas ordered were warm. As there were 7 of us it cost just over £135 for mediocre food that wasn't even warm. Again huge disappointment

Had a great dinner in Sugar Rays. The ribs are amazing and the service was excellent!.

Went here today with the family service was great but the food was horrible the cheese on the burger was some disgusting goo the nachos were soppy and tasted like pickle juice not one of us finished our over priced mains and the peppered sauce tasted burnt and the dessert was sickening needless to say we won't be back again.

Seen a post on Facebook with a picture of a double cheeseburger burger in a skillet with cheese and bacon sauce. It came out exactly like the picture and it tasted better than I expected. The staff are fantastic attentive and friendly. Perfect experience.

A cozy nostalgic diner with a modern twist. Classic American food delivered with passion and style. You walk into the restaurant and are greeted with two arcade machines, one for classic Street Fighter and another for Pac Man (useful for the longer waits.). Thankfully it was quiet when I arrived. The walls are dressed with classic American posters from the 80's and neon lighting is utilised tastefully throughout. The menu is extremely varied. Classic American menu with crowd pleasers included (Pizza, Burgers, Nacho's etc.) and even a separate children's menu. Honestly, the sheer amount of choice that one has when browsing is staggering. The only gripe I would have with the menu is that it can be initially daunting, and the stylistic approach can perhaps alienate older customers who aren't as 'hip', but is completely subjective. The variety of both vegetarian and vegan food is pleasing too. The only area to improve is perhaps more salads. I personally would love to see a veggie twist on a Cesar's salad. Very strong offerings. I was lucky enough to experience their Veggie Queen Pizza which was divine. Sourdough base, fresh mushrooms, pesto, sun-dried tomatoes... absolutely delicious. Their sides are no slouch either, generous portions abound and delicious. I'll be bringing more friends to experience this hidden gem of the ice bowl. Very, highly recommended.

Great place, great food, friendly staff, atmosphere was good. Maybe play background music to make it more authentic experience, but nice nonetheless.

We went tonight. Though it was a bit slow but it was so busy, we had brilliant service. I ordered a steak rare and it came fully cooked. I said to staff, they took it away, brought back a rare steak and took it off the bill for the wait too. Really lovely managers who are fab with kids too.

Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Our order was taken quickly and food was delicious. I had the pizza, my daughter had the chicken strips and my hubby had the steak sandwich all of which were perfect.

Honestly, a family favourite. Ive been with my son and his mother on sever occasions with perfect service but this time my visit with my dad and son as a treat, your staff willingly ignored us. I watched as they walked away after cleaning the table right next to ours. After I raised the concern, it took a short while for them to respond with our drinks (25) minutes. Yes. It was rather annoying considering the absolute lack of customers and rather abundance of staff clambering around without paying attention to us. The supervisor kindly offered our drinks on the house, however, where was our cutlery? And the corn bread in the dish? Why did it take 45 minutes?? My son nearly fell asleep. By the time the food arrived it was delicious no doubt. Satisfied. Yes but really put off by the sheer lack of resolve. Thanks for having us but sorry, I'm completely put off. How could I possibly recommend that to anyone?

Even though they were quite busy we got shown to a table as soon as we went in. Service was fantastic and food was amazing. The portion sizes were great so much so I cudnt have dessert. I would highly recommend 😊

Food excellent service bit on the slow side atmosphere ok

Lovely place, great, friendly staff. I was really looking forward to my visit but the meal I saw on their facebook page a month previous was no longer on offer. Ordered a combo and the meat was fabulous. Just ripped off the bone however I was disappointed with the mac n cheese which is why I only scored 4/5 but this was just my own preference.

Usually a really nice! Loved the decor change, but music was far too loud. Kids meal was great size. I ordered the the special chicken and waffles as I've enjoyed in other places. Although when it arrived I was in shock at the meal. Two helpings of butter? Which were big portions,for waffles that weren't warm enough to melt butter dunno what else i could have used all the butter for and a random corner of crispy shredded chicken with no sauce. Very mis matched. Manager was lovely and comped the meal which I appreciated as I didn't eat much of it. Will be back as I do enjoy the food usually.

Have never been let down by Sugar Ray's. Great smokehouse kind of food. Always cooked wonderfully, staff are friendly and helpful and portion size are often more than one person can handle. (But you can box and take away. Lol).

Staff great, food is OK. I thought it was fresh bbq but it's premade. Which is alright, but not great. Portions are huge and they will give you a box for leftovers of you ask. They did bring a birthday muffin out for our neice and played Happy Birthday for her and she was all biz.

Excellent food with wonderful service. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Great for families. Would recommend to try at least once. You'll be back for more.

We went to Sugar Rays for our dinner, before we we went round to Omniplex Cinemas, which is next door to Sugar Rays. The staff were very friendly, helpful & gave us a menu, we then ordered our meal & a drink as well. Sugar Rays is next door to Omniplex Cinemas in Dundonald in Omniplex Square, there is also free car parking for those of you who drive a car. Give Sugar Rays a visit & see for yourself, you, like us will be given a warm welcome. Stephen Acton.

Food lovely , service was good , they did forget about us at one point. We had ordered another drink, but it was really busy. She brought it as soon as I called over and they realised.

The ribs and cornbread are top notch and the service is always very good. My only one suggestion is that the sweet Carolina sauce needs to male a comeback

The food is amazing but the service is questionable at best. We never received our drinks order and had the chase another server to get some drinks. We hadn’t been checked on once when we received our food, this had let down such a good meal

Not sure. Been a few times I'm not local, the last time I came has a completely different menu, the pizzas are now front and center yet most of us go for the combo meals which are now in the top right? There's a pizza place over the way it doesn't make Sense. Food was ok, would probably go again, decor clearly aimed at early 90s kids which I like
