We were fortunate enough to have a beautiful sunny day to make the journey to Tea on the Beach, which itself was glorious. When we arrived 4 stags were grazing beside the little horsebox and it couldn't have been more idyllic. We sampled the self-service tea, coffee and hot chocolate, and a slice of each of the available cakes, while sitting enjoying the amazing scenery. All cakes and drinks were absolutely delicious, can't believe there was even caffetiere coffee! We left payment in the honesty box, and tried to squeeze visitor comments in the already very full visitor book. I can't believe this is run by children, very well done, what an enterprise.

This simple formula of DIY hot drinks and fresh cakes is the perfect enticement for you to drive up to (almost!) the top of the island. A nice little bay where deer are frequently to be seen nearby too.

A charming opportunity to sample homemade cakes and a hot drink, from a horse trailer parked on a beautiful beach. Congratulations to the youngsters who have set this up.

We booked "Alex the Bus" for a full days tour of Jura. One special stop was "Tea on the Beach" where we enjoyed tea, yummy coffee flavored cake with caramel frosting, and the company of six Red Deer stags. The river was sparkling in the sunlight, the sandy beach full of little treasures...shells, stones, tiny flowers. Simply spectacular!

The most charming 'cafe' I have ever visited!! A wonderful local family provide urns of tea and coffee along with a choice of cakes served out of an old horsebox. Help yourself and put your money in the honesty box.A really special little spot to enjoy a cuppa and the amazing views across the bay. Warms the cockles to know that little places like this exist!!

What a lovely idea! After a bit of a hairy drive up to find the fabulous Lissa gin, we were pointed in the direction of "Tea on the beach"- a horse box beside the beach with hot water /coffee/ tea and goregous homemade goodies (the chocolate & banana cake was amazing). Such a brilliant idea and a much needed pit stop on our journey home. Loved it!

What an absolutely wonderful idea! We are so glad to have heard about Tea on the Beach and come by this week - the cakes were fantastic and we loved drinking our tea in proper mugs sitting on the grass in the sunshine. The bay provided us with a wonderful view too - we'll be back!

We visited as our turn-around point on our Alex the Bus tour and although I'd told my partner and her friend they were very impressed with the picturesque setting and the simplicity and novelty factor of the concept. We were more than happy to pay the goodwill £4 per person which is great value for the homemade lemon drizzle or chocolate cake and the view and ambience of the setting is truly breathtaking. A must visit if visiting Jura and preferably whilst on the Alex the Bus (Jura Bus Tours) ☕️

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Tea on the Beach. My son could not stop raving about your Coffee Cake and in fact, I would LOVE the recipe. A fun trailer turned into a serve yourself/honor system tea service. HIGHLY Recommend!

There used to be tables for tea on the beach but these have been removed because cows apparently used to come down to the beach and knock them over. What exists now is a horse box with thermos flasks and cakes where you serve yourself and leave money in the honesty box. Delicious cakes though.

Really well cooked and reasonably priced food. Beautifully cooked garlic prawns and smooth mackerel pate as starters followed by ribeye and venison steaks cooked really well. Throw in a bottle of wine
