Food is excellent, prices very reasonable. Staff couldn't have been any friendlier.

Lovely meal yesterday once again. The sticky honey chicken was delish, despite being busy, waiting time was great for hot, tasty, well presented food at fair price ( unlike some over inflated places for mediocre dishes ) another of the group reordered the fish due to previous visits and she was not disappointed. The fish is of extremely good quality . The hardest thing about eating at The Anglers is deciding what to have ooh! 🙈🤔 😋

One of biggest pub on Annan. 3 sections: for events and private parties, for teen-agers and for rest with sofas. On Saturdays live music with possible dancing. Unfortunately, even though I ordered the same thing, the bartender gave me completely different drinks. Good food and it's really worth to come. Parking from back side of the pub.

We decided to go to the Anglers for lunch following a family event. None of us had been before, and the first thing that struck us was the layout. It was roomy, clean, and bright with plenty of space for the less mobile. Although it was fairly busy, we were quickly offered a table and the waitress took our drinks order. The menu had plenty of options and the food itself was excellent. Special mention to the prices. Four adult meals, one side, and a desert with drinks came to less than £85. Excellent value for money. The staff were polite, attentive and friendly, and our whole experience was first class from arriving to leaving. We will definitely be visiting again.

Great place to eat. Good food, good prices, nice staff, what more do you want.

The food was great especially at the price point. Everyone enjoyed their meals (2 adults and 2 kids) and I appreciated the space they give each table. Being able to have a pram next to the table and not feel like you're in everyone's way is quite a relief at times! Made for a lovely holiday treat, if I were local I'd definitely be back.

Excellent choice of food and drink

I booked lunch for 4 people 2 kids and 3 adults the morning of the day we wanted to go, I received a quick response with a time that suited perfectly! We were warmly welcomed and shown our table. The service was quick (which is always good when you have kids with you). I ordered a chinese curry chicken wrap and it was phenomenal the portion size was brilliant and my belly was full! The food was value for money! I will definitely be back.

Lovely setting, clean modern, friendly, staff good service and of course lovely meal with good choice.

Once again we were back, four of us this time. The menu had been updated since our last visit so, instead of our usual macaroni cheese, we differed. I had Honey & Chilli Chicken and it was delicious. Thursday lunch and it was full. We were glad we had booked as people were waiting for tables. No wonder. Food excellent and plentiful, staff great as always and nice surroundings. Thank you again Anglers for another outstanding lunch. 5 minutes away, how can you beat that. Prices, for those interested, very competitive too. Certainly well worth the money!!!!!! Naturally, being local, we will be back!!!!!!

Really nice bar which has obviously been refurbished and it looks well. The young girl behind the bar was really nice and friendly and the bar has a good selection of beers and spirits. Sadly the other’s customers in the bar stopped us from having more than a quick drink. Having to endure the people on the next table spoilt our night. Their learning of the English language appeared to have stopped when they got to f@ck which they used liberally and loudly.

Modern bar, fairly accessible, sells alcoholic beverages & tea/coffee. Has a pool room, there was a live band the evening that we visited.

Another lovely lunch at The Angler's today. The food is always tasty, it's very reasonably priced and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I have also had several afternoon teas and evening meals there too and have enjoyed every single one of them! Keep up the great work all of you! Ps great for evening entertainment at the weekend's too xx

Often visit for lunch prior to cinema outing. Always find staff very pleasant and professional and standard of meals excellent. Best to book as The Anglers is very popular. Smaller portions are available but this isn’t advertised, only found out when ordering and happened to say to server that I didn’t think I could eat a full portion. Limited cakes and tray bakes at lunchtime, a pity as a main dessert can be too much.

Christina was very good made the night very enjoyable was chatty and made us want to keep buying drinks

Deceiving from the outside. Inside you are met by friendly staff who soon seat you and bring your drinks and a menu. The food was very tasty and filling and reasonably price. Sadly we are only passing through but a very pleasant experience. We'll worth a visit.

Went to the Anglers yesterday for Afternoon tea for the first time. Usually a bar meal but the Afternoon tea was beautiful. Highly recommend 👌

We stopped here on a Sunday lunchtime looking for something to eat. They weren't serving food that day so we only had a drink. We had to go out onto the terrace as no dogs allowed inside, but that was OK as it was a lovely day. They have made a great effort with the interior decoration, it looks fab.

The Anglers has always been a friendly, comfortable and cheery place to visit. Since the introduction of lunchtime and now evening meals, it has just got better and better.

Popped in for lunch with our 6yo son. Food was delicious, and other meals around us looked gorgeous too. The staff were really lovely! We'll try and come back again begore we leave Annan. Definitely recommend to friends, family or foe 🤣

Great little pub, good atmosphere and friendly staff, has a pool table and 3 dart boards in a gaming part of the pub, also has a nice seating out back if you want to catch some rays, would recommend 👍

Situated on the main street in Annan, this is a modern but tastefully refurbished building offering an upmarket feel with a great range of food and drinks. Staff were attentive, but not overly so, and the service was quick and efficient. It was fairly quiet when we arrived but they had a retirement group booked in for afternoon tea. The food looked very good. There is an outdoor sitting area which, unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of due to the wet weather.

I attended here on may the 2 nd I entered threw the passage way to the bar where there were 2blond girls as staff one was talking to older ladies at table just in door I was noticed and sat at a table during my 20 minutes waiting other people were given menus and some had food whilst I was being totally ignored by staff one of which appeared with bucket and started wiping down wall behind bar I left and definitely won’t return I contacted hotel and was told to email which I did to no response thankfully new place opening soon next door so I’d recommend any where but here possibly staff just lazy or couldn’t be bothered walking to my table and if manager can’t be bothered getting back to me all as bad as each other

Just had lunch in here it was delish, couldn't fault the selves or the meal .A credit to the town ,all the girls where lovely and very helpful .We will be back.

This birthday tea was a fabulous experience with superb food beautifully served by very attentive staff. The tomato soup was a favorite of us all and the recipe was given to us without hesitation.
