Great food, great selection. We dined here twice during our stay at arundel. The food and service was faultless, we had sea bream and hanger steak one night and warm goats cheese salad and pie one night. Nothing is too much bother for them (we wanted a slight amendment to the sea bream). The star of the show was the amazing pie 🥧. 5 star at reasonable prices

Arundel has a lot of places to eat and i was undecided where to eat on my night away. I decided to look at the Norfolk Arms and inside was a restaurant. The pleasant lady took me to the restaurant as I wanted to eat a bit more than usual burger etc and something ideally with style, I was so glad i came here! The lady with black hair, i forget her name but she clearly knows how to treat customers showed me to my table and nothing was too much for her. I was also approached by the manager I think, Ian, yet again another superb example of customer service. Good banter, nothing was too much and he was a really lovely chap. So onto the food. The menu is varied and the food is absolutely superb! Great portions to fill you up but not enough to bloat you and superbly presented. I had the Pork Belly followed by Banana Meringue. The restaurant setting is lovely and peaceful, away from the road, quiet, clean and stunning. If you go to Arundel and want a place to eat, do not miss this place!

Myself and my partner dined here on two separate occasions as the food was so amazing. Between us we had duck, beef brisket and hanger steak. All cooked to perfection. Prices were reasonable for the food quality and customer service was very good. I highly recommend and can't wait to go back next time we visit Arundel.

We did not realise at first that we could go into the restaurant and dine as we thought it was for people staying at the hotel. We were so pleased with the menu and the quality of our meals. We were served by Iain who made us feel very welcome and certainly gave us a laugh. He is very good at his job. A very pleasant evening spent with friends and very good food. We have since been again as a couple. Thank you

Very friendly attentive service . The food was full of flavour tastefully displayed, obviously a very good chief. My friend does not like onions so the chief adapted her meal to accommodate this, even making an onion free sauce just for her. A warm comfortable atmosphere, individual character in keeping with the surrounding area. I will defiantly visit again even if I was not staying at the hotel.

Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. The food, the wine, the staff, the atmosphere. And it's lovely and warm. There are plenty of menu options and everything is home cooked to an exceptional standard. We'll be back tomorrow!

Atmospheric, great service and absolutely terrific food. My wife and I went for the festive dinner and it was wonderful from start to finish. Prices are not exorbitant for this quality of food with top class service (Vlad was exceptional) . Need I say more. We will be returning to stay in the hotel in the Spring.

We were staying at the Norfolk arms so it made sense to eat in the restaurant there. we had three courses. I had the Ragout of wild mushrooms, roasted celeriac with brioche toast & madeira cream for starter and my wife had the Rosary goats cheese, flat bread with pickled figs and wild rocket, for main we both had Green pea, mint & goats cheese risotto with herb oil and for dessert i had the scoops of ice-cream and my had white chocolate and orange bread and butter pudding. Without exception the whole meal was absolutely fantastic, the risotto (for me) was the outstanding part of the meal. Service was a little slow but it was very busy so to be expected and it was the end of a long day so we had nowhere else to be so it certainly wasn't an issue for us. Would definitely visit again for sure.

The hotel staff were helpful over our booking. The menu was varied and met the needs of 8 people with very different tastes. Two of us had the spicy option in Thai style and it was very good. The restaurant felt a bit lacking in atmosphere as there was only one other table occupied. It was mid week. The manner of the more senior staff serving our table was a little dismissive as if she was bored by what she was doing. The more junior, younger waiter made up for this by being helpful.

Located in the Norfolk Arms Hotel, this restaurant catered a large family reunion (34) in their banquet room. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. There was some difficulty in serving all the food in a timely manner, but understandable for a large group. The setting is historic and the facility is well kept.

We dined here as we were also staying at the Norfolk Arms and thought we would give it a try. We had a lovely meal, for starters I had the Smoked Haddock risotto and my husband the Salmon and Crab cakes, then we followed up with the Chef's dish of the day for me, being pork belly, and my husband the Halibut. We both enjoyed our meals. and were impressed with the service.

Nice to have a table pre booked for us, Hot food was ok and Ice cream deserts were nice but expensive, what spoilt it for us was the staff, no interaction and not a single word or smile from anyone. w
