the service was slow , not polite and the FOOD WAS DISGUSTING !!!! i wouldnt even serve that to a dog let alone the public

Had a very pleasant visit the food was good service was good and there was a great atmosphere in the place and very friendly staff and I would definitely recommend it and I'll definitely be coming back cheers 😁👍👍👍

Went in tonight for food and drink No clean empty tables plenty of tables vacant full of empty glasses and leftover food. Found table asked for it to be cleared after 10mins was done to a fashioned ended up finishing it ourselfs ….. ordered drinks had to ask for them after 30mins went to wrong table ordered food ordered still waiting an hour later went to wrong table Place is a shambles won’t be back again Avoid like the plague

Friendly staff, tables were cleared away quickly. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Loads of seating areas.

This is our go to place for a good meal at a reasonable price. Can't fault it at all!

Service wasn't the greatest staff walking past numerous times and our dirty plates still sitting. Never asked if everything OK or we wanted anything. Burger was dry and overdone

Barmaids were weren't very nice or should i say abrupt not very good customer relations in my view

It's a wetherspoons, they are all the same, decent pub grub, alcohol is well eh alcohol.

The moon has more atmosphere than the Cross Keys, but the drinks are very cheap

Good cheap place to eat and grab a drink. You get what you pay with at spoons but they have a lot of drinks and plenty of food to choose from. Service is usually pretty good. Minor things such as forgetting cutlery or leaving the drinks trays on your table rather than giving out the drinks but these occurances are not common. I think as it is set up as a restaurant there isn't a real pub atmosphere here. It does not feel like a restaurant, it doesn't feel like a pub. It is just something in between although you have been to any wetherspoons you will be aware of this. Table service is great especially when out with friends for an evening. All in all not a bad place to grab some grub.

I come here normally quite often to have meals with my family, and it was always great, no mistakes. Recently, the past 8 visits they have been awful. Food takes too long, service isn’t great, things are raw, sometimes overcooked. This visit will probably be my last, just had the coldest burger with cheese that wasn’t melted and bun was stale, rustlers would do a much better job by just sitting in the microwave for a good solid minute and be perfect. Want to also mention that back then, last time I remember a month or two ago, the portions were great sizes, the large mixed grill especially, which was quite large. Last time I came here the “large” mixed grill was barely even half the size.

Very small portions. Fries wasn't fresh, fish very small. As a Witherspoon I expected little bit more.

Tuesday night in Peterhead, so quiet and not much to report. I had a couple of pints of cider, very reasonably priced. The food did not look tremendous but we did not eat. There was no atmosphere at all.

To many staff talking all the time

We had have breakfast and dinner there for two days. The food was delicious the service quick.

My friend and I didn't enjoy our meal. A sea port. And the fish wasn't up 7 to scratch. Fresh fish caught mist days and not served here. The steak was just grizzle couldn't cut it but the waitress took it back and I was presented with another. One. Which I could cut. Was very dissapointed. As if came recommended as one of the best places to eat in town

Standard cheap Spoons ,does what it says on the tin.

The food is just okay, nothing special. The bar is fine and the bulling is nice. The cleaning is a bit on the low side. But not horrendous.

Worse burger that I have got in a restaurant, it comes with bad service as well.

Visited here 4-5 times on my trip playing golf, can't speak highly enough of the staff, food, beer and cleanliness of this establishment, no glasses left lying around when it was busy, courteous, professional staff especially the guys working the evening of mon-wed 22nd-24th may, can't knock this place at all. Also a good range of real ales, which changed over the 3 days I was here.

Nice place, however, the Chilli in my order of a chilli filled baked potatoe was slightly inaccurate, in fact the little sachet of butter that came with it filled the potatoe more.

We went for breakfast, food is no bad quality , good enough pub lot of beer choice, only downside is that tables not cleaned up fast enough, seen at least 4 people came and turned away because of piles of plates no cleaned up

The pub was brilliant it's a wetherspoons, but the food was dire. The chef must be Stevie Wonder the food was that badly cooked.

Cheap & Cheerful 😊. Brilliant in the afternoon . A lot of folks knock Spoons, but for a quality range of beers at realistic prices they can't be beaten.

No music, no real atmosphere, cheap enough but there are better pubs in town.

Hated the place. No atmosphere and the service left a lot to be desired.

This is a decent pub for drinks and food. The staff are polite and helpful. The breakfast is good they have different price ranges that won't break the bank. The breakfast is English and Scottish breakfast and tastes nice too. The spot will be a great hangout for the summer. There is wheelchair accessibility too. But parking can be tricky, check local parking regulations for full information.

Food is nice but whole place could do with a clean also windows need renewing. The place is busy at times and tables could be cleaned quicker more staff needed. The food is nice and always hot.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The place itself is tired. There is barely any lighting in the back restaurant and the tables, menus etc are usually sticky, wobbly or a mixture of the two. The food is fresh and the portions are reasonable. It's convenient in the centre of town and usually fairly quick service The menu has a great selection and the prices for food and drink are fair. A good option when you're in a hurry with the family in tow, without breaking the bank.

It’s a basic whetherspoons. Basic, cheap drink and slots. Slots robbed my money and the refused to pay claiming I need make a claim. It’s not their machine. So it just draws electric and they get nothing from it!

Great place staff very friendly just wish the fried eggs weren't like rubber and look like they have sat on the hotplate for 2 hours.

Decent place for breakfast, usual Spoons options and great prices. Like the refillable coffees, and using the machine means you don’t need to stand and wait at the bar. I use the app to order to the table, great option, again saves time standing at the bar. Only two gripes, it’s a struggle to get in when there’s always people standing in the doorway smoking, really puts me off. The second thing is the beer garden is looking very unwelcoming, lots of rubbish lying around, and there is barrier tape flapping about, not sure if it’s supposed to be closed, or if the tape just blew there and hasn’t been picked up.
