Food and atmosphere great! Downside they sent 5 out of 7 meals...we had to wait an extra half hour. Drinks and service slow. But really good live musician. Shame really x

We had a brilliant night out here for St Patrick's day. Drinks, dancing, the band and the atmosphere were all great.

Solid atmosphere and with the lively music. However, extremely disappointing evening received aggressive treatment from the bouncers who removed me and my friends out of the the oast house. His colleagues tried to get him to stop being so aggressive but he was not having any of it. He saw we had countless amount of drinks still on the table and was shouting for us to get out. Did not let us finish out drinks before we left and proceeded to march us out of the establishment. Considering I had a reserved table the service and experience was a solid 0/10. Would not recommend. Requested a manager who proceeded to do nothing about the matter. 0 help.

Oh dear, what an abysmal dining experience. I can't quite comprehend how it's possible to produce such poor quality food from such an embarrassingly limited menu. We weren't expecting a fine dining experience and we certainly didn't get one. It's actually an achievement to get chicken thighs dry, but you managed it! So no surprise the burger chicken was also dry, both things whose impact may have been lessened by the offering of some kind of condiments, but no such offer transpired- no vinegar for fish and chips?! The fish didn't so much flake as render to mush...But the chips, oh the chips(and fries). Not only is the fryer oil in desperate need of replacing, but your kitchen staff need to drop their egregious habit of dropping the chips several times and still deeming them acceptable to serve. Believe it or not I usually suffer in silence and pass no comment but I just couldn't let this one go wnen people are so obviously taking the p**s. Whoever is in the kitchen has no right being there unless they are either cleaning it or delivering orders to it, seriously. Take a long hard look in the mirror. But, I suppose it could be my own fault - I wasn't drunk. I guess that's probably how you get away with it.

Went for Sunday lunch in early March 24 . Sat in the tepee , which was nice and also heated. Food was good , if a little overpriced in terms of extras that should come with the meal as standard . Overall, it's good but not great . Adjust your pricing for an easy extra star ...

I’ve always loved the Oast House and had some great times here, until last night. Me and friends had just bought a round and sat inside when a taxi had arrived for one of our friends. I walked around the back of the building with my friend to her taxi to make sure she was getting in the taxi and home safe. I was out there for no more than a few minutes and walked back to the steps to the right of the Oast House to be greeted with a ‘you’re not coming in now at this time we’re closing’ by one of the bouncers. I told them, I’d just bought a drink, my friends are all still sat inside I’d just walked my friend out, to again a rude unreasonable response. They both even laughed at me and generally enjoyed the fact I was left sat stood outside in the cold waiting for my friends to quickly get through their drinks to be able to come outside to meet me. This was Friday 15th March at around 12:15am. I thought it was just really mean spirited and especially towards a woman on her own.

Visited yesterday for Mother’s Day - really impressed as my mum got a free cocktail and goody bag which we weren’t expecting! The cocktail was lovely - menu was very well priced as were drinks. Good service and atmosphere - would 100% recommend!

I was there this Friday evening and while I was having a nice time with my friends, the security came and literally threw me out like a garbage bag, asking if it was you in this video. The video is from more than a year ago and I'm shocked that security took a video and still keeps the video. I wanted to talk to the manager, but no one was interested in the matter. They didn't even refund the drinks I paid for. They said they deleted the video but I still can't believe it. I loved this place, but if you kick someone out of the place because they are drunk, you need to make an explanation. And he told me that I insulted his race, but this is slander. He said we kicked you out because you were drunk, but then he has to kick everyone out. I leave a comment here for the selfish security worker.

Garbage place, bouncers here have lost the plot, I think they are on drugs, don’t go here if you are looking for a good night

Always great time at toast house. Good beer and vibes. Winter wigwam with gas fires spot on. Took the kids and great that that's fine till 9

Went for a meal with a large group of colleagues. The wait time was long but overall the food was tasty. I got a chicken hanging kebab which was well cooked and value for money. The place was busy which isn't ideal for sit meals but a great atmosphere for a night out. There was live music which was a nice touch and the drinks were affordable. The toilets were awful and best avoided. A nice venue to grab a drink but wouldn't recommend for a sit down meal.

Live band, high energy, super fun place to be at with your mates.

We called for a couple of drinks on a very wet Saturday afternoon and sat at a table in the main bar. After a while a member of staff brought a sign to the table to say it would be reserved within 30 mins. We had decided to stay for food but the bar was packed, so a member of staff called Cameron, who was very busy assisting other customers, kindly found a table within the teepee for us. So helpful and a credit to the Oast House.

Steve was a great help and made us very welcome, we had everything we needed and he still made sure to go the extra mile. will definitely be back!

Had a fantastic night of food and service at the Oast house yesterday. Great choices on the menu and the food was delicious and plentiful. Thank you to the team who looked after us and made our visit extra special. I would highly recommend a night out with friends here.

Stopped by with friends on a Saturday afternoon at the Teepee. The place was kept warm by open fires and there were QR codes on each table to order which really helped. The drinks came promptly and we had a really enjoyable time. :)

This was wonderful. The beer selection is reasonable (objectively not to my taste) but the atmosphere is wonderful and they had fantastic live music in the tipi. Would recommend. It has the alpine ski feel but it’s warm in the tipi.

Cool pub, we were in the big tepees. Had the burners going so it was really cosy. Staff were friendly. Went in for one and ended up stopping about 3 hours. Think that says it all.

We had our Christmas party here. We were sat by the door so we got continual cold draughts. The food was fine but when it came to pay, someone else had paid for our table and we were asked to pay their bill?! Then they conveniently forgot about the deposit we'd paid. All got sorted but added 30 minutes to the end of the meal as we said about trying to get it sorted.

Great spot, reasonably priced drinks, good music and atmosphere and my girlfriend looked beautiful. Food was very good, almost as tasty as my girlfriend

Una bella cena in questa particolarissima “casetta” immersa nel centro del distretto commerciale di Manchester! L’ambiente è molto carino, vitale e il locale è frequentatissimo da ogni fascia d’età. Buona la carne che abbiamo consumato abbinata a diverse birre, la cui varietà nell’offerta è il loro punto di forza.

Met up with former work colleagues and really enjoyed our meet up. The place was buzzing and had a great vibe. Definitely a place to liven up your Christmas

We were seated in the Teepee and felt like we were in the middle of someone else's Christmas party as there was a big group in and they did presentations etc. Once they left we were in the giant TeePee on our own which felt atmospheric. We would have been better being seated in the main restaurant.

Great event for our Corporate Christmas Party. The DJ (Alan) was superb and really good creating a great atmosphere. Food was very good as well

Decent value for money, bit overcrowded and lost count of how many people dropped glasses and smashed them all over the floor

The food and drink was average, but atmosphere was ok, but the one the taller security with the dreads has a real chip on his shoulder and is aggressive for no reason atall, and tbh when trying to explain to him his behaviour was unacceptable his manager was also stood their who also didn't have much to add, the fact the security is telling people to shut-up and they best calm down is ridiculous, and several of us hadn't touched a drop of alcohol to just put this into perspective, so everyone was level headed, he was just rude and passive aggressive.

Had our works Xmas Party here in the Tipee. What an amazing night, food atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful. Really hope we come back next year. Highly recommended 🙂

Food and atmosphere was lovely however service wasn't great, ay just have been due it being a busy night but definitely could have done with some improvements given how much was being spent especially.

Nice place in Manchester ideal location for drinks. During winter time the tent offers a nice atmosphere and in summer the place serves as a sunny terrace.

Nice tent and the bar staff were very friendly. The Christmas dinner leaves a lot to be desired though. They stick it on a skewer and in a bowl to hide how little they portion out. Here is a photo of my entire Christmas meal.

We had a fantastic Xmas do here. Really good value. In a great area. All of spinningfields area looked good. The oast house crew were friendly and helpful, the food was great and the atmosphere was perfect.

I recently had a deeply unpleasant experience at The Oast House in Manchester due to the rude and aggressive behavior of the security staff. Despite my wife being granted access just minutes before me, I was abruptly told the establishment was closed and denied entry, with the security personnel laughing off my attempts to explain. When I finally reached my wife by having to ring her who had a drink ordered, she was accosted by security trying to aggressively take it from her when she came out to meet me. She was still on the premises as I was outside on the footpath . The level of aggression and intimidation from the security staff was unprecedented, leaving my wife scared. We had to leave due to concerns for our safety as the situation escalated with the security employees becoming increasingly agitated with 3/4 gathered around us A truly disheartening experience. Shame on the management for having this kind of security representing there business.

Come for a birthday celebration and Christmas and Cameron is lovely and looked after us. Beautiful setting had a lovely time. Was absolutely amazing!

DISGRACEFUL place. We were out for a lovely meal as two couples at fazenda, then onto here for drinks. Onto round 3 and they had issues with their card machine whilst we paid but told it went through. 10-15 mins later we are approached on the dance floor by THREE bouncers aggressively saying we hadn’t paid for a round of drinks. As if!? We had just spent £400 on a meal in fazenda, we are not the type of people to deliberately not pay for a few drinks. Due to your card machines or wifi not working, doesn’t give you the right to send 3 bouncers over to 3 females on a dance floor man handling them. They threw us out in the end. I was stone cold sober. Manager was a shambles. Won’t mention her name on this but have made it known on social media and g reviews. Valid this place unless you fancy a night of awful service and aggressive security stalking you.

Liked the atmosphere but really did not enjoy the toilet experience! A row of multi sex cubicle,s had to go in one after a gentleman had just used and urine all over the seat , not a nice experience toilets were dark and had a horrible outdoor camp site feel about them, bring back the separate ladies and gents toilets please !!!!

Went for lunch with group of friends.. entertainment 5star inside the teepee tent was great 👍.. bang bang chips was poof value but OK. The reason for the 3 star was the horrible unisex toilet, this idea is just awful so much so that this would determine if I go back, call me old fashioned but I like to share toilets with girls Only

Cameron at The Oast House provided exceptional service during our visit. His warm welcome and attentiveness made our dining experience truly memorable. Cameron's dedication to ensuring every guest's satisfaction was evident, and his knowledge of the menu was excellent. I highly recommend The Oast House, and Cameron's service sets a standard others should strive for. Thanks to the management and other staff who we witnessed worked hard ensuring all customers had an excellent service. Looking forward to returning soon.

The Oast House is a great place to visit and either socialise or talk business. Great service by very attentive staff both at the bar and when food is served. Food is very nice and there is a good selection of drinks. In the nice weather the courtyard is a good place to sit and have a drink.

A load of workmates from around the country gathered in Manchester and met up at The Oast House. We had a great few house sat in the courtyard necking back a few beers. The service and the beers were great. It was great to come home with my wallet after a trip to Manchester. #madforit

We decided to go out for breakfast on Sunday 18th and decided on the Oast House Derby. We both had the full English which was delicious, well cooked and piping hot . All the staff were welcoming, especially our server, Petra who was attentive, smiling and kept asking us if everything was ok without being too intrusive. In all lovely experience and will definitely retune.

The nicest staff ever!! Explained the whole menu to me and were just generally super sweet people. I had very high hopes for these oatmeal bowls and Oat Bar did not disappoint. Fantastic experience all the way.

Nipped in for a quick drink and after seeing the food decided to stay for dinner. Great food not the cheapest but worth the price. Would recommend.

Food was amazing. Very tasty and value for money. The staff were wonderful and very welcoming. I love the character of the building in a bland Manchester setting. 100% would recommend this place.

Big atmosphere. It was well busy but our server Jayden kept the food and drinks coming and made it effortless. Glad we had a table as we were a group of 11 and getting served would have been a nightmare otherwise. Good selection of drinks and decent food considering.

Calling this a resteraunt t is a stretch - it has a livery limited menu - wi chose putine - I have never tasted something less like outline ever - cold chips- no cheese and cold gravy …yughhh..and £10 for the pleasure - avoid this place for food would be my strong advise - drinks were ok

I understand when in Manchester you expect to pay a bit more however, I found this place to be a bit excessively priced. We ordered a large red wine and a pint and it was over £20+. However, the place was buzzing and super busy.

Looks a bit out of place in all the new bars but it is a lovely little place and really enjoyable for a quiet drink and a sit down.

Just popped in for a beer and I do appreciate that most visitors are not too concerned about ales but this place used to be more oriented that way. Even on a Wednesday, the place was quite busy compared to others nearby often with food...

As I left the property I found a £20 on the floor. Immediately I was grabbed by my jacket sleeve, by the security guard who tired to insist I had to give it to him. When I refused, he swung me round by my jacket...

Had some small bites, Northern Poutine and salt and pepper fries with some beers. Great food and drink, Jaden was amazing and very attentive. Offering a bowl for the dog :-) Would defo come again.
