Best breakfast in the area, friendly staff and all beautifully home cooked food - I had their christmas dinner last year which was delicious, well worth the visit and hope they do the same this year. Clean cafe with a log fire in the winter! A must visit if in the area

Posthouse Waringstown is absolutely fantastic place to eat. The menu has so much choice and the food is tasty, hot and served with a smile from Lindsey. Really worth a visit when in Waringstown with car parking at the door.

We had a sumptious Irish breakfast at the Postouse Café, conveniently located right under our holiday apartment. Such a quaint place - wish we'd dropped in before our final morning, just before leaving! participates in the Eat Out To Help Out Scheme

We stopped in here on the back from a funeral. I had the soup which was carrot and coriander. It was lovely. Hubby had the chicken wrap with sweet chilli sauce. We would highly recommend this for lunch, or even a cup of coffee.

I have visited this cafe a few times and I have never been disappointed with the victuals that had. Staff always greet you with a smile and hospitality is second to none. They also have a lovely outside sitting area and on a nice day it's lovely to sit outside and view the historic Waring house across the road.

I dropped in one morning over the summer to sample the breakfast, as it had been some time since I was last there and it had changed management in the meantime. Ambience - fine Service - could have been a wee bit better, but OK Food - good Value for Money - good. I also had a great chat with one of the staff whom I'd known since she was a young girl, and I know here Mum and family as well. Would I return? Yes, but it wouldn't be my first choice!

Called in for late lunch and found staff most affable and quality and value of fare very good. Soup, pasta bake and pot of tea for tenner seemed very reasonable. Agree with other recommendations. Next time in the village will certainly patronise.

We eat here regularly and the service is always great and the food is well cooked with good portion size. The paninis are excellent and the caramel squares to die for! There is always a daily special or two. Scones are a specialty and you can buy a bag to take home for the freezer. The cafe has changed hands fairly recently but the standards have stayed high. The tables are all covered with wipe clean cloths with great designs and the decor is reminiscent of a diner at the beach. There are tables for 2 and for 4 and on a sunny day you can eat outside at the front in the walled in patio. There are some books to entertain kids. There's a warm fire in the winter, free parking at the back (you can enter through a rear door) or on the roadside at the front, and a small toilet. There's no card machine as yet, so make sure you have cash! The cafe is closed on a Sunday and Monday. Definitely worth a visit for coffee, lunch or afternoon tea!
