Went to the Wern tonight for a last minute treat and what a treat it was.The service was prompt and the food was outstanding already planning our next visit.Give it a go you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Stunning food, great service, reasonably priced. Have already recommended it to lots of people and will definitely call again for food. Can't beat homemade chips!

Food was freshly cooked and delicious with excellent friendly service. Land Lady took time to talk with us and make sure everything was ok with our food. Facilities were excellent.

The food takes longer than a chain restaurant, and with good reason. Everything is home cooked. The chips are out of this world, and I could drink the pepper sauce with a straw!! Delicious!!

First time visit after hearing lots about the food from Facebook friends. Originally only came here for a drink and to watch the rugby but the food smelled and looked so good we had to. Me and my partner go for food atleast once a week but this was exceptional. A unique menu with a very good price point. Pub grub these days is the same everywhere you go but this menu tops them all, bloody stunning and so fresh. Can’t wait to come back again to try more. Felt like family after half hour being there, everyone’s so friendly and relatable. Very underrated little community pub. Well done guys x

Pop in after a bit of shopping feel peckish had a sirloin steak with garlic potatoes and the wife had gammon well say no more it was lush and outstanding credit to the staff really friendly place and nice atmosphere to go with it would highly recommend this little gem of a pub

Just popped in for a quick bite to eat and was not disappointed. Lots of choice and huge portions. We didn’t have to wait long for our meals. Staff were lovely and friendly and they do the best minted lamb faggots! We will be back for more.

We travelled to Swansea from Ebbw Vale. We googled Sunday lunches near me and The Wern Inn came up. We called to ask for availability even though it was super busy due to derby day she still squeezed us in . The staff were so accommodating and friendly and we had the best Sunday roast I have ever had! Well done guys we will be back!!

We travelled all the way from Cardiff as we'd heard the food here was great - and it did not disappoint. Best pub meal I've had in years. Great portions and the home made chips were amazing! Will definitely be recommending to others and coming back soon
