Nice place, really friendly staff good vibes in the place. It's really clean and most importantly the food is excellent and great value big portions, definitely visit again next time I'm in Belfast.

Food was nicely made but the ingredients felt like they lacked quality for example the pizza toppings were pretty tasteless. The staff were very inattentive and getting any kind of service was hard work. The restaurant was very empty and there was plenty of staff around yet they’d do things like bring the bill then disappear for 15 minutes without offering to help us pay. When they did finally arrive they bought us the wrong change but we were so fed up by then we just left. The room was filled with smoke from the open kitchen concept, not sure if the fans were broken for some reason but both of us kept coughing from the lack of air. On the menu it says extra toppings “from £1” which is really unhelpful, not sure why they wouldn’t just list the toppings and their prices.

We ordered carbonara which was swimming in oil, a stuffed crust pizza which the crust wasn’t stuffed. They were out of stock of 2 drinks we asked for and the staff did not come over during the meal to ask how it was. All over a very average and disappointing experience. If you are here in Belfast for a short time, just give this place a miss.

Avoid. We went for dinner . There were 8 of us- 4 adults and 4 children - to celebrate a 6 year olds birthday. The service was abysmal, even though there were probably only 8 other guests in the entire restaurant. We waited 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table for a drink order. Pizzas were cold when they got to the table. They had no ketchup for the kids’ chips in the entire restaurant. They forgot to put a candle on the birthday boy’s dessert, despite us asking when we ordered it. One of us had spaghetti bolognaise, and was up all night with stomach pain. No one checked in the quality of our food. They forgot drinks we ordered - we had to remind them to bring them. I could see the waitress eating ice cream as she prepared our kids’ sundaes. We will never return.

Quite tasty pizzas and pastas. A vast menu ensures there's always something to choose from. The staff is friendly, the establishment is cozy, with a beautiful interior. Clean and well-maintained restroom.

We were looking for a place to have some nice pasta in Belfast and when we saw the reviews for this place, we decided to give it a go! It's inside Victoria square shopping centre, located on level 2. We ordered a minestrone for a starter and spaghetti bolognese and rigatoni Tony macaroni. The soup arrived very quickly as we were waiting for our pasta to be prepared. Everything was delicious, also spoke with the chef and thanked him. Service was very quick and kind. Big spacious and cozy seating area. Highly recommended!

Been here once and will most definitely be going again. Staff are awesome and the atmosphere is calm and romantic, perfect for Valentines or any special occasion.

We were the only customers upon sitting in. Staff was nice and accommodating. Food is great and the overall ambience of the restaurant is great.

The food was majestic, the grilled meat and sausages were so tender and scrumptious. Kristina our waitress was so attentive and caring. A bit cold inside but food brilliant original Italian taste even ingredients are from Italy

Food was great, really nice. Service was good just a shame about some staff being grumpy and acting like they didn't want you there.

Once we arrived I had to ask the boy with the long hair can we have a table this was after standing at the bar for 8 mins then he went in front of us and put menus down on table I had to go up to the bar myself to get a drink the food was terrible I ask the girl what was going on her answer was I'm not a cook .. we left in a rush . I'm a big fan of this restaurant I visited a lot when in England and Edinburgh working . Please resolve my issues

Great experince! At first when we went in there was a very nice waiter named Ray who was very nice to us as there was no walk-ins accepted but Ray let us in as he could tell we were really looking forward to it. We were treated with amazing service as people infront of us were there before us yet we still got our food first. Food tasted amazing and was perfect. Very fast service and a very nice waiter. Pizza and fries were very nice and salted perfectly. Me and my family loved it very much. If you’re going I would recommend booking before hand as it is usually very busy. At the end we left the lovely waiter, Ray a tip and he was very thankful. I would very much recommend.

Service was off the charts. When we went inside there was no walk-ins allowed but thankfully there was a very nice waiter called Ray who let us in when you had to book. We were very thankful and got our food before the people infront of us even though they were there before us. On the way out we gave Ray a tip and were very thankful for his service. Didn’t even have a chance to order. It wasn’t busy, no many tables taken and still we were waiting about 30 min and no one took an order from us. No offer from them when we said we are leaving. Another thing we were sitted side by side with other couple, looked like table for four, so zero privacy.

Came in, asked for a table for 3 on Boxing Day. Girl at the counter said we needed to book even though the restaurant was empty. We left, made a reservation and came back as we are regulars. Came in, stated we had a reservation and got dirty looks from 3 members of staff for coming back. We were told that we would have a longer wait as they were extremely short staffed which we had no problem with. Sat down and waited 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table. Really unpleasant staff, we ended up leaving and going to frankie and bennies. Sad as we were regular costumers, but we won’t be back

Friendly staff but service was slow and they lacked attentiveness even though it wasn’t busy. Food was ok nothing to get excited about.

Didn't even get a chance to order. Waiting 20 minutes for a server. The place wasn't even busy, no-one came about drinks. Noticed the people seated before us were already having their pizza.. shocking service. No offer of anything when told we were leaving. Won't be back.

Food was lovely here. I recommend the pizza. The only thing was we booked online and staff didn’t seem to have that booking and then didn’t apply the discount on our food until I asked them to. Don’t think they are pocketing the money but just could be better service.

This restaurant has loads of potential and the staff are trying their best. But the organisation and service lets everything down. There seems to be a lack of management or control on what was going on. It took 25 mins to get our drink after sitting down. We had to order our next drinks almost as they were being delivered because of the time it took. We found it difficult to order the food. There were several different types of staff doing different things. Lady behind the bar did not stop, she was great. Waiters and waitresses were friendly. Chefs flat out. It just didn’t all come together very well. Goats cheese salad was great, amazing pizzas and chicken. No tap water arrived. Wine didn’t come and we cancelled it after we were half way through the food. Someone needs to grab hold of the floor and bring it all together. Maybe a few more staff? Leave loads of time if eating here. It was also a bit chilly, my wife wore her coat throughout.

We went here because my daughter likes the pizza which was just as good this time but the service was slow and miserable. It is also freezing. Wear lots if thermals, order a pizza , don't expect a smile and you'll have a good time.

Waited half an hour just to be served, multiple staff walked by our tables despite us waving to grab their attention. Eventually we did grab the attention of one and he said one second but never returned. More staff walked by us and ignored us, walking around and cleaning empty tables. We asked another waiter if he could take our order and he said “Sorry I can’t do that for you but I can send someone to take your order.” he walked away and no one returned to our table. Other people had also complained about not even receiving a drinks order.

One of the best Italian food I had in Belfast. Service is quiet prompt and food is served quickly.

We had a booking and got seated at our table at 25 past 7 by 10 to 8 not one person came near us for food or drinks order. Advised staff we had been waiting 25 minutes and no one had come near us and still waiting another 5 minutes. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. If they cannot handle the volume or costumers they should have more staff on or not accept as many coming in to dine.

Average place. Visited here as part of a wider trip in a large group. Food orders had been sent head of time. Staff we friendly enough but slightly demanding in organising where food was going. Of the options avaliable, I had lasagna. Mostly tomatoe sauce and was just the lasagna, no side or breads. The burger and ribs options both had sides for the same price so was left hungry and confused.

We arrived at 20:15 Tony Macaroni in Victoria square shopping centre in Belfast, they didn’t come round to the table until 20:37 to ask what drinks or food we wanted. I explained to the girl we waited over 20mins and she said they were so busy and ran off their feet so I just left it at that (they weren’t busy at all plenty of room to swing a cat). The food was reasonably good, but the service was shocking. We weren’t asked how good our food was, our table wasn’t cleared for over 15mins and one of us asked for sauce and by the time it came he was nearly finished his food as it apparently takes 15mins to put sauce in a small bowl. Communication again was frankly shocking after the first long awaited sauce arrived they came back over with a 2nd lot not realising we had the first one. We will not be docking up here again. Very put off. Left the establishment at 21:37, we told the staff when paying about our issues and they gave us a small discount but this really did put a damper on our weekend. Left in not the best of moods.

Minha experiência no restaurante foi desapontadora. O atendimento deixou a desejar, com funcionários pouco dispostos a ajudar. A comida estava insossa, sem sabor, e o ambiente geral refletia uma falta de comprometimento com a experiência do cliente. Espero que essas questões sejam abordadas para melhorar a qualidade do serviço. Infelizmente, não posso recomendar com base na minha visita.

Serviço foi excelente! Comida estava saborosa, porém a lasanha acho que foi uma porção pequena para uma pessoa. Quanto ao local para um turista achamos bem escondido rs! Mas com certeza voltaremos!

My girlfriend and I went for a lovely meal before the cinema, we were both very (pleasantly) surprised by the quality of the food given that we'd never heard of the place before. The venue was spacious, tidy and welcoming with an open kitchen. The staff were lovely and the menu was extensive and very fairly priced given the quality of the food. Service was quick, the food came out hot and the wine was refreshing. We will definitely be back!

One of my favourite restaurants!! The food here is just amazing and every one of the staff are lovely and always make sure to check in on you. Quick and friendly service and also not too expensive. Got all the food below for around £40

The reception was reluctant to give us a sitting even thought he restaurant was empty, had to dilly dally for 5mins or so. The food is authentic Italian, which is exceptional delicious and aromatic. The staff however seemed to want to get rid of us as soon as possible, which interferences as every 10mins asking us whether we were done with the drinks or the food when it was clear we were still eating. One of the staff actually took the while the plate while I was eating and had to gobble down my food in order not to waste any. Overall, we ended up with a paying £89.15 for 2 pizzas, soup, pasta and 4 drinks.

Lasagne zero meat small portion all pasta sheets and sauce no side for 12.00 had to go up and ask for a drink as staff were just talking was not asked was I happy as clearly the lasagne was not touched. Very disappointed

Absolute joke of a place. Wouldn't recommend it at all. Raw steak, corked wine, lipstick on glasses. How an issue of the steak was dealt with and the manner in which it was dealt with was a joke. Would rather have went to KFC

No beers on tap. In fact only 1 beer in bottles available. No white wine. Only red. Mains were good. Pasta, pizza, apps - pretty tasty Gelato, mostly freezer burnt Few other options not available Loud dance music coming from the kitchen clashed with the atmospheric music of the restaurant. Asked to move and were able to do so. But just a weird atmosphere. The kitchen can play what they want but don’t disturb your guests, ffs All but one stall in each toilet closed. Stank of urine. Cash only, card machine OoO. Frustrating. Was an expensive meal and pretty disappointing all around.

Awful food. My carbonara was swimming in oil. They replaced it with a pizza but I wish I'd just left & eaten elsewhere. The sausage on the pizza was gristly & tasted raw. The base was soggy & the edges burnt. The garlic bread tasted stale & reheated & the garnish was curled up lettuce which looked like sweepings. There were bits of food on the window ledge by us, & a stained serviette. My friend's chicken & pasta was just a dried up piece of chicken, with rubbery pasta in tomato sauce. Probably cost about £1 to make. A complete waste of £34. Avoid unless you fancy stomach ache. On the upside, the staff were pleasant

Amazing pizza at reasonable prices, better and cheaper than Pizza Express for example. Attentive staff and fast service. Two downsides that weren’t much of a big deal, but worth mentioning. Drinks were warm and the restaurant itself was even warmer. Mobile aircon units dotted about, but not on or not working.

Real italian food, real expresso!

Waitress was dismissive and distracted & we did not feel welcome to dine in. The food took a while to come and was average (not that flavourful). Do not get the bruschetta.

So 3 of seated for dinner, it was less than half full. We ordered after a little too long waiting, but ok. When our food arrived my ribs didn’t have the side of fries. The waitress didn’t return,waited and waited and then asked another waitress if I could get the fries I’d ordered. She said she would get it sorted. I ended up sitting there ignored until the were cold and then when I got the attention of another waitress,I explained my food was cold waiting on the fries. She took the ribs and then brought them back saying they’re too busy to redo my order but they will now get the fries to have with the cold ribs. I’ve never had such appalling service in a restaurant only to be insulted further to be offered a cold meal with such a flippant attitude. I refused .naturally. I had to tell them to take the whole meal off the bill. They still tried to charge for the soft drink I didn’t drink. The entire duration of this fiasco people kept coming in and waiting to be seated as according to the sign greeting them. After waiting a while they were greeted only to be told it was reservations only. I couldn’t understand why there wouldn’t simply have sign saying reservations only instead of allowing people to stand waiting unnecessarily. So for me it was the last I will ever be a patron. They have no concept of service

Disappointed. We wanted table for two people near the window. Restaurant is almost empty, there are plenty of free tables, but lady in the reception gave us a small table just near other couple. We asked for window table again and clarified that we need it for up to one hour. Answer - No. Unfriendly, unprofessional staff who doesn’t know anything about client service.

Quite place, cool staff, great service. Fantastic sauces but the pasta was overcooked. In their defence, in 9 years I have never found a place in the UK where the pasta is cooked until just firm: probably a UK requirement👍😅🍻

I have to give 5star as my daughter just adores their pasta. Children's portions could be bigger, but overall great experience, good to see price deals too.

We are rarely disappointed when eating here. The staff are friendly, the menu us extensive and the food is always good. It was £80 for 4 of us to eat and drink at lunch and 2 of our kids had ice cream deserts. It's definitely somewhere we always enjoy going

Honestly, the pizzas were just ok. The service wasn't great either. Staff seemed generally dissinterested. I waited ages for a beer - watched it sitting on the bar waiting for the waitress to collect it and was tempted to go and get it myself. Then we wanted dessert and got the menus but no-one came to take our order after 20 minutes so we just paid and left. At the till there was no 'everything ok for you?' Definitely wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

Food and service amazing. Pizza and portofini risotto fabulous., but the heat was horrendous. Couldn't enjoy the beautiful food, but I felt so sorry for the staff, to work in that heat with no aircon. I didn't see any fans about either. Surely yous could hire a cooler fan or something to make temperature more bearable for your staff and customers.

Place was empty but it still took the staff about 10 minutes to come take our order and another 15 when we requested the bill. I was close to just walking out without paying before they decided to pull their fingers out. Terrible service and very greasy food

Back to eating in Tony's after few months. We were very pleased with the service and the food, which had improved considerably since our last experience. Will be back again soon!

Such a lovely place! So many choices for food we couldn’t choose what to take! Fresh food with lovely tastes! The stuff was there to help us with all the questions that we Had. The night that we were there it was a live show with Italian songs. It was amazing !

Good Italian restaurant in Belfast City centre located in Victoria square Mall at the 2nf floor. Good silent ambience and mid range restaurant which catters in all kind of good Italian meals such as in pastas and pizza's and Burgers plus drinks mocktail and cocktails. Loved it to the core ♥️.

Booked a week in advance. I received a phone any hour before saying toilets were out of order so would will still be coming. We said yes. We got there for 8 & sat at our table until 8:20pm before walking out as we didn't even have anyone come over to us! Shocking!

Came in before 9pm on a Saturday night and they refused to serve me. Told me the kitchen was closed. Website says open until 10. They said the kitchen closed early due to "staff shortage" lmaoooo. Also said they only do bookings (the place was empty, like 10 people in it). We give Frankie and benny our money instead.

Not anything special...First of all the staff didn't know the menu... Maybe the staff was new or something but it took them so many time to help us with the sides of our dishes ! I had trouble paying with all my cards! Thank God at a last try we managed to pay with another machine ! Because they couldn't accept payment with Euros. They couldn't help us on how to pay instead and when we asked if we could change the money in a store nearby they suggested a closed one ... The only good thing in this experience was that the food came really fast !

Food was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. Cocktails were amazing and service was brilliant.

Food was very bland! I ordered the salmon with black pepper sauce and it had no taste! My wife ordered a chicken burger and it came with no sauce and was overcooked. My mum ordered the pasta carbonara which was soaked in oil and garlic but had no seasoning. You know it's bad when even my son's milk and pouch food had more flavour to them. Very large menu but won't be back. Staff were good to start with, they provided hot water so we could give my son his milk however there was one exception when one staff member just left the dishes and left without asking if we needed anything else and there was no check up to see if everything was ok during or after the meal. The only positive to say that the bottle of coke was lovely and they had a good taste in music. It's a shame that the taste in music was much better than the taste of the food.

Service is very slow even when the restuarant is quiet few table including myself looking around and waitresses just seeing you and blantely ignoring you to clear plates etc ive given better service in my resturant with 10 tables in my section too busy cleaning...

As regular visitors this experience has left a sour taste. We were in on a Tuesday around 4pm, the only customers in the restaurant, and some members staff both on shift and not on shift decided to sit at a table beside us and have shots and drink cocktails, talking loudly and obnoxiously making the experience very awkward for us, considering one started crying right beside our table, resulting in us leaving before we had finished our meals. As well as this, we were charged off of the dinner menu when we had ordered spaghetti bolognese from the cheaper lunch menu and the “optional tip” was automatically put onto our bill when the service did not warrant it, which was especially disappointing considering apart from those staff members sitting having cocktails and shots, we were the only two in the restaurant and still the service was not great. Food was average, and the option of Parmesan was not offered as it usually is. Overall very disappointing giving us doubts about going back.

Very pleasant place for a family meal. The menu is very rich, lots of choice also for kids. We had delicious pastas and salads, that were not overpowered by too many spices, just enough to bring up the natural, delicious taste of veggies in the dish. Waiting time was just enough, not too long, and staff was very nice.

A very good menu with children's options and mid week deals. Right up about Victoria square. It was quiet when we were there as there was work going on outside and it looked closed ... luckily we went right up the the door to check.

Absolutely awful experience, waited nearly am hour for the food to be served and after chasing it twice the waiting staff were running about like headless chickens trying to figure out where our order was. 5 tables came in after us and had their starters and mains before we even had a hint of our food being ready. The waiting staff were so overwhelmed that they were just avoiding us and hoped that one of the others would deal with us. One told us our food was next to come out but to our surprise several tables got their food first. We've been here several times and never had an issue so I was extremely disappointed to say the least. Would certainly question wether I'd go back now. The food is incredible its just traditional that the service isn't.

Delicious food I had carbonara with garlic fries. Great service My sister ordered a calzone but got a pizza, issue was sorted straight away. Pleasant warm atmosphere

Racist restaurant. Came in, some customers eating and restaurant 80% vacant. Turned me away with the excuse that the gas was down. Came back a year later and was turned away once again with the exact same excuse.

Unfortunately a bad experience from our point of view. Myself and partner had arrived 15 minutes before our appointment scheduled for 6 but we were taking in as it was not that busy. Waited about 5-10 mins before our ordered was taken. So we were sat down and ordered taken before 7, there was 3 groups that came in after us. They all got seated and served their meals before we even get our starter. Which was a sharing plater and the mozzarella stocks weren't cooked. There was 4 members of floor staff including a head hostess and not one member of staff actually came over the check on us or apologise for the wait. Once we got our starter was at 6:42 nearly an hour since we got there. And the 2 out 3 groups that came after us had left. Once we got our main at 10 past 7 the last group after us had left. At one point while myself and partner were waiting the floor members had someone bring in them in boojum and was actually eating in front of us while we were waiting on our food. I'm just very disappointed with the service as being in a similar environment and seeing the staff act that way, they weren't attentive at all and with not being busy the service should of been better. And the food quality wasn't brilliant for 50 pounds we paid. Definitely management needs to look over this store and their staff and its standards as recently on their reviews it's not been good

Restaurant was not busy, yet food took at least 25 mins to arrive from ordering (only had a main course). Chefs were more interested in talking to each other than getting food to the pass. Once the food did arrive, half of one dish was stone cold. Staff didn't seem overly bothered but did offer to take it off the bill. Won't be rushing back..
